Short motivational monologue by Rick Torrison (self-described “limitless coach”) explaining how unexpected or self-made “life happening” moments shape beliefs, behaviors, and outcomes. He argues that limiting beliefs formed from those moments create ceilings on life; changing behavior alone is insufficient without addressing underlying beliefs. The clip ends with a call-to-follow for more guidance on breaking limiting beliefs.

Life happens. It happens to all of us. Those life happening moments are where the unexpected, unwanted and unasked for happens. Or in some cases, we make decisions, choices, or we act in such a way where we become the author of those life happening moments. But the reality is we all experience them. Life happening moments have the ability to shape us, to mark us and impact our behaviors and our outcomes. Often, life happening moments create ceilings over our lives because of the way we define or interpret or understand that moment. We look at the world, life relationships in a certain way based on that experience that we just went through. And the way we interpret that behavior ultimately determines what we're going to believe about ourselves, about life, people, and the world around us. What we believe always impacts how we behave and all of our behaviors. Our actions lead to outcomes. Now here's the thing. If you don't like the outcomes you're getting in your life, you can't simply look at the behaviors. Yes, you need to change your behaviors. Behavior modification. But have you ever tried to do that and realize you find yourself back in that same place over and over and you can't sustain a change? It's because we're not addressing the beliefs that drive our behaviors. If you want new outcomes, you can't simply change your behaviors. Address the beliefs that are driving those beliefs. Behaviors. Hey, if you want more information like this and ways to break through those limiting beliefs in your life, make sure to follow me below. Man I'm Rick Torresen and I am your limitless coach.
