It allows the ANC to avoid true electoral consequences. It's a façade, a cover-up for political decay. The ANC lost their mandate long ago. Now they're hiding behind a coalition built on favours, threats, and silence, and no accountability. When coalitions are forged in backrooms and upheld by budget votes, the public loses its voice. South Africa becomes a playground for elites who trade positions in ministries like poker chips. This isn't democracy, it's extortion, and it's rotting the country from the inside out. We should be voting on ideas, not watching power be shuffled like a rigged deck of cards. The coalition, the GNU, must be exposed for what it is: a desperate lifeline for a corrupt ANC regime that's lost touch with the people.
