Robert Cialdini argues the internet isn't just a Pandora's box of misuse. It also lets the public expose and hold deceptive people accountable online, creating new channels to pull back the cover on bad actors.
Bob, have you ever looked back and thought, man, I mean, you're doing so much good in the world, but for the folks that are using it unethically, like, what are your feelings about that? Right? Because you unleashed almost a Pandora's box into people's hands.
This relates to the point we were making a little earlier, and that because we have the internet, we can penalize those people. We can go online and blow their cover for their deceptiveness, for their lack of trustworthiness.
Right. Right. There's more, there's more channels to hold people accountable now. 'Cause everybody's a voice online and we can pull that cover.
We should not just be passive in this.
