Gary, how much of your net worth is in Bitcoin cryptos? I hear it's quite a lot.
Well, the question is it liquid net worth or total net worth? Because it varied numbers, right?
Yeah, total net worth.
Well, I actually think total net worth is a really misleading number because it would indicate that I've made a decision to not allocate. Let me talk about liquid net worth and how I define that, and then we can talk about total net worth. Liquid net worth, about 86%. And total net worth is probably. Well, let me answer it this way. If all of my assets were totally liquid, it still would be 86%. There are assets that I have that I cannot liquidate. It's just not possible. I might be able to borrow against them, but it becomes very, very complicated to do that. So if the. If these assets were liquid, they would all be moving into Bitcoin.
Does that not feel overexposed in one class?
I think it depends on what you're trying to achieve. Overexposed for me, no, because see, the important piece is, remember, it's a liquid net worth. I'm pretty responsible that my kids are going to be fine even if this goes to zero. In fact, I have more certainty that my children will be okay if Bitcoin goes to zero than I do if bitcoin goes to $10 million each. Like, if bitcoin goes to zero, my children are going to grow up just like you and I did. I turned out okay not having anything and having to struggle for everything. So that's the way I look at this. Well, why do I. I'm 66. This theory that I need to be diversified is a joke. It's not. That's not true. Nobody gets rich being diversified. Most of the people on this planet that have a shitload of money, they didn't even go to school yet. Every day we tell, gotta go to school to be successful. You gotta diversify to be successful. Gosh, it's not the way I got successful. So, no, I don't think it's over. If my conviction and thesis is correct, as a lifelong investor trader, I would be committing a mortal sin against my own thesis. To me, I like, you want, if you're investing in a company, you want those founders to be really, really convicted, right? You don't want them kind of. I got 39% of my wealth in this private equity business, in this idea I'm building, but I've got the rest of it in something really safe. Most people that build businesses are all in. They go Broke, they go broke being in a business. So to me bitcoin offers at this point bitcoin offers unbelievable opportunity for this type of concentration.
And are you so much in bitcoin because you so much believe in bitcoin or because you so much don't believe in all the other alternatives?
Very good question. That is a very good question. I'm not sure I've been asked that question that way. I'll say it like this. I think bitcoin is an unbelievable call option on the future of digitizing planet Earth. And without me paying an extra penny it is a insurance policy or a put against the rest of the legacy world. And I think I get two bites of the applewear, a call option on digital and a put option or an insurance policy on what looks like in 72 hours we're going to be have major escalated military operations from Iran to Israel or that's the story that we're going to be told. Gold, silver and bitcoin were designed for this period right here. So yeah, I am extremely short. What I see is the military industrial complex and all the government, professional politicians, they are, they've had 50, 60, 70 years to fix this and they've done nothing but make it worse. So I think big, I think everyone should be looking for a put. Everyone whether it's gold or silver. I mean I have both those. They're so difficult to move. It's impossible relative to bitcoin. So I think I'm. I think my answer to you is both.
And if 86 liquid is Bitcoin, is the other 14 gold, silver, other.
No. Oh the other 14 of liquid is cash, silver, some mining stocks that are related to bitcoin which is about 3% of the portfolio and then 1,1 non Bitcoin token that I think will. Anyway it's just a bit of a play for a small like 1 or 2% of the position and that's about it. Got some guns, water, liquid, gasoline, fuel, generators, boat, fishing equipment. So I'm pretty set up for being able to take care of my children and my neighbors. Then the rest of it's in real estate with my brother. A home that is a complete waste of money and private equity.
So I want to come to home and real estate. I'm friends with, with your brother and I'm quite big in real estate myself. Before I do that, you say you've got gasoline, guns, etc. Do you think you're going to need to be self sustaining? Do you think the world's coming to that? Point.
You know, every time we have a hurricane or a cyber attack or, you know, it seems like we have events now, every, what, three, four weeks. I mean, major events too. We've become desensitized to how significant these events are. Everybody around me gets all panicky. They're going, driving to the grocery store, man, doing all kinds of weird shit. I am freaking out. I never, I just keep making business calls until shit hits the fan because I'm already ready. I've been ready for 30 years, man. This thing should have gone tits up 30 years ago, 20 years ago, 10 years ago, five years ago. And they just keep pouring morphine into it. And they'll pour morphine into it this time too. The problem is today you're in London, the America. America does not know that you guys are riding almost every day. They don't know that Paris is in full on riot. That a good 5 to 8% of your population has no interest in assimilating into a culture that's been around for a thousand years. Zero intention, no food interest, no language interest, no religious interest. They are literally coming to your country. Just like the people that invested around one mile around Buckingham Palace. They basically stole, absolutely stole central London from you. You guys allowing all these Saudi, the Saudis and Russians and Chinese to come there and buy 40 million pound properties that were worth 20. And then they bury 20 million into a pool. They're hiding money. They're literally hiding money. They, they've taken that whole cash, cash laundering business that the Indians do in London and turned it into. I bet they've added five six zeros to it. You know what I'm talking about? Do you walk into an Indian restaurant, it's 8,000 square feet and there's three people there for lunch as a money laundering center. And there's 300 of them within walking distance. So we're at a point now that I don't know anybody that's not ratting. Is there a country on this planet that's not freaked out right now? So I hope I never have to use them. I mean, I have two security dogs. I hope they alert me first. I have a lot of bitcoin. I'm very, I'm very open and transparent. And I had a phone call today from a lawyer in San Francisco. He's like, it's just a matter of time before every agency comes knocking on your door. You're starting to like now the cool news is I have a really clean closet. I haven't done anything wrong. I've had people Try to tell me I've done things wrong. I've never been in 45, 50 years. If you've built 7, 8 dif different businesses in two continents and you don't have a bunch of lawsuits and like there's like, if you don't have a bunch of red flags after 40 years, you've probably done a pretty good job, especially if you were in the energy business, you know, like right next to Enron. I mean I, my hands were so clean through that whole process and they could have been really dirty. I mean I remember getting a phone call from the Russians, offered about $1 billion a month of Russian gas from them. Dump it in the uk and after having the first conversation I'm like, I can make a lot of money doing this, but I know where it's going to lead and I'm not doing it. And somebody else went and got that money. They may or may not still be alive, but for me it just wasn't the way I was going to build my life. So I hope I don't need to use these tools, but they're just tools. I mean, I hope I don't need to use the shovel and the rake that are designed for my children and me to grow our own food. I don't want to grow my own food, man. But I have the shovel there anyway, right? I mean, thousand dollars worth of tools, stick them in a tool shed and now I'm not having to go steal them from my neighbor if I need them one day. It seems to make sense to me. None of these products, by the way, that I bought for the last 15 or 20 years have gone down in price. Not one, not either. Food that lasts for 50 years, not the shovel, everything has gone up in price. So seems like a reasonable savings program in addition to being, you know, safe, secure and at least prepared.
And you have the same view of as Grant that cash is trash.
I think anytime you can manufacture something out of thin air, yeah, of course it's trash. It's very similar to why, in my opinion, why so many bitcoin were lost in the early days. Because it was mispriced, right? Bitcoin at 300 bucks nobody put any value to. I actually think the same issue is happening today. So few people are planning for how to keep their bitcoin and not have it taken from a draconian, overreaching three letter agency. Maybe you guys have some four letter agencies. Inland Revenue. No, yours. Three letters too. And by the way, the Inland Revenue makes the IRS look like a Snowflake. Absolute. Oh, dude, you guys, like, I have had friends that are in trouble with Inland Revenue. Your guys are aggressive. There are no boundaries for you guys. So, look, I expect to be audited for the next 10 years, and I've never been audited. I will be audited the next 10 years. And if bitcoin's worth a million dollars, I don't think very many people are taking care of their bitcoin properly because they're going to have it taken away from them by the government or their children will have it taken away by the government because you don't have any reporting. No one's prepared for any of their reporting, any of their audits, any of their forensics. What's your cost base? Just ask anybody in real estate, hey, Grant, that building, what did you pay per door? He will know down to the penny. I ask you, you know, down the penny. Ask any bitcoiner, I'll give you a thousand dollars. First five guys, not one of them are going to know what their average cost is. That is amateur land. Total amateur land. So. And the reason they all know is because they don't have the reporting that enables them to go look at their book and go, oh, this is what I have. I know one other person that knows their cost base. That's Anthony Scaramucci. And I've met a lot of people in this space, man. So it's just. It's going to get very much more professional. It's a very young industry. And, yeah, I do think cash is trash. And I'm a little surprised with Grant's thesis that he doesn't get bitcoin.
Why do you think he doesn't get it?
Hadn't studied it. That's the only reason anyone doesn't get it. They don't spend the 25 hours and he will say, oh, yeah, yeah, I read a book. Cool, you read a book. But you read and wrote, I don't know, thousands of books on sales, and you read one book, kind of Sarta, and you went on Twitter and listened to a bunch of idiots that is not studying. Studying is actually sitting down and really studying, really drilling in to what's happening here. So he will end up getting his 25 to 50 to 100 hours and he'll get it when he needs it. But right now he's so wealthy, and I think this is the issue for real estate guys. If you're really wealthy, you probably don't need bitcoin. If you look, look at the characters that are coming into the Space. They all have real similar characteristics. I mean, really interesting, actually. Just to look at the personalities, it makes sense why we're so. We're so early. Just look at the personalities coming here. These personalities do not go to markets late. They're always early. They're disruptive people. They have a chip on their shoulder and they want to smash something. And this would be.
That sounds, that sounds a bit like Grant to me.
You know, the truth is Grant found his space to spank, and I've had to find four or five industries that would allow me to go in and spank them, but I am absolutely spanking this one.
Why doesn't Grant leverage you? Let you look after his and manages bitcoin?
We, we don't. We don't do anything together. I have an investment with him in real estate, but we do not do any business together whatsoever. I have people call me all the time, hey, give me Grant's number. Like, you're gonna have to get Grant's number on your own. Can't leverage me. And, and that's like, for me, that really make. He and I are very, very different human beings. I, you know, I have no interest in real estate at all, dude. And I have no interest in any of the marketing or the like. I don't like consumers. I have no businesses that touch a consumer and would never invest in one. I just don't like those businesses. So there's plenty of room for Grant 9 in various industries. We're both going to do pretty well. I think I'll end up spanking them in the left, left field. Based on the metrics of what you can do with bitcoin. I mean, you're a real estate. What's your loan to value on a big old commercial, big multi dwelling in the UK? Can you get 60?
We're on. Yeah, we're on about 55, 58 at the moment.
That's what we're on. What do you think bitcoin would be priced at if we could get 58% leverage?
A lot more.
What would real estate be worth if you couldn't get any leverage?
A lot less.
How much less? 58% less.
Who knows?
At least 58%. I think it would take it all out, dude. It would take it all out. I think so. These are very different products, right? When you start breaking it down going, oh, I can't lean on bitcoin. I can lean on real estate. If, if real estate had a mark to market price, you guys would be puking outdoors every week. But this is why? Grant loves real estate. There's no mark. And by mark for your audience, I mean there's no clear, hey, what's the price of 2131? You know, Royal blue lane in Mayfair, whatever lane, right? What is that exact property worth? Imagine if that price had a chart, man, every day and you could trade it. We will get there. By the way, this is what the tokenization of real estate, which is really cool, you know, the value of being able to amortize and depreciate is not available to bitcoin. The availability of 1031 exchange, not available. And I was in two weeks ago with the Trump group and like we're asking about all of this, hey man, why don't we have some of these tools? Why wouldn't we have a tax deferral on bitcoin? I think what people are going to do, and you're not asking me this question, but I think the real estate guys are going to move into bitcoin because of the duration. It's a really beautiful match. Duration. I can get into bitcoin for four years. I will most certainly make money. Not one human being in history, if you held it four years, has ever lost money. Doesn't generate any cash. But the money you do make in this four year cycle is like 200%, right? Minimal. Whereas the real estate guys making distributions and his stack is 10 to 20 years. The duration. These two stacks of having one that's highly illiquid, that's leverageable, three to four to one that's paying distributions could cycle into bitcoin. Buy bitcoin on a four year duration, get a 2, 300%, you know, pop. And then you're going to have to decide, can I leverage in four years? Could I leverage that bitcoin that will be available in four years? Caner Fitzgerald just came in the market two, two weeks ago. And that if, imagine if I can start to borrow 50 cents on the dollar on 200x, right? And then, and then start like I'm talking to a bunch of large players in bitcoin going, hey, if we could put 10,000 bitcoin together, that's when I would go talk to Grant, hey, let me work on the whale side of the bitcoin. We bring that bitcoin like Grant and I bring the bitcoin to a major real estate lender and say, look, here's a billion dollars, okay, cut it in half, cut it in half, give me a loan. I'm going to take that $500 billion and I'm going to borrow another one and a half. And I'm about $2 billion worth of cash. Distributing real estate only if it meets one criteria. Class A multi dwelling that has to puke out on a Friday evening right before it breaches its covenants. Now you're probably sitting there, I don't know how much you know about bitcoin, but you're probably sitting there going, why is he bringing this up? Because on Friday night at 7pm, man, let's say the contract breaches at 7pm UK time, right? Or 12 midnight. I can transact for a billion dollars in a bitcoin wallet to you at 11:58 right before the breach. And that bank knows for sure. Okay, Friday night breach, Monday morning, we're going to smash this piece of real estate out of the market. Problem is 30 other banks are going to be doing the same thing. And you could have like closed out on the weekend. That's what I will use my bitcoin for. And that is only, the only thing is super liquid, super liquidity I can close. You know how many banks you walk into go, hey, I'll close in 12 hours. They really value that, right? Versus I gotta check with the board and all that stuff. So we've never seen a product that can do this. Like never. We've never seen a product that could. I bought node 40. It's a technology company that focuses in this space on a Saturday afternoon with three and a half million dollars from five banks. Took me less than 30 minutes. And the guy sent it to. Let's pretend like it was you. Literally you were accessing those funds within two minutes. On a Saturday, dude, on a Saturday. It could have been a bank holiday. Like everybody thinks the banks are open, including Grant. Grant's like, well, the equity market's going to take a bump. No, no, Bitcoin will always take the first hit. Because bitcoin's a real market. It doesn't just operate from nine to four and then it's closed. Easter, Saturday, Sundays, Mondays. I would predict that bitcoin is going to turn us into a total gambling market where the stocks and equity markets are required to be open 247 or you won't survive this. You got the guy from blackrock looking at building an entire exchange down in Texas to compete with Wall Street. So we're living, to me, we're living in history. And it makes sense to me that a lot of people wouldn't get it, that they're just really holding on to the old world. This new world is really hard to understand.
Does it not worry you that they'll come in and regulate it all and try and grab full ownership? The governments, the central banks? No, I mean if it's this exciting, surely there's gotta be a risk that they're gonna, you know, a few banks set up the central banks a hundred years ago, created a big monopoly. You're not worried about something similar happening?
No, I'm worried about there being no regulation. I love regulation. Like with my personality. You're like this guy hates Ray. Oh, I love regulation. What I don't like is unclear, biased, unfair and discriminatory regulation. And that only happens when the regulation is unclear. We have not had a lot of clear regulation in particular in the us I have literally zero concern the US government, UK government or any other bank can do anything about Bitcoin that would harm it. And the reasoning is game theory. There are 108 countries working on CBDCs, none of which will work. Awesome. Now we have 108 countries all competing with each other, with the United States government. We just had a presidential nominee say we will not do CBDCs. We will take care of self custody. We will allow you to self custody and we're going to support this industry with proper regulation and stop hammering it. Look, you know no one was regulating ftx. Actually I would suggest that the regulators should be sued because they weren't aware of fdx. They were so busy following something else or trying to get votes they just let this thing. I mean this was a heinous crime that some punk created against a bunch of consumers. So I blame the ftc, the sec, the DOJ and every one of these guys that allowed or funded or actually created this guy to come in the market and create such, such disruption. No, regulation is not good. Anybody can try to mess with bitcoin. Good luck. This was engineered not to allow you crazy people to be able to cartel it up. And, and there's going to be two types of people. People that fight it and people that jump on the bandwagon. The naysayers will come along, they most certainly will. And we don't need Bitcoin to take over the Fed and the IMF and the bank of England. My thesis has nothing to do with any of that. Simply it's a supply and demand. 21 million units. There's 8 billion people on the planet. There's 2,516 billionaires, there's 406,217 ultra wealthy people worth in my category. And then there's 62 million millionaires. If your audience just does one thing, go, okay, the 62 millionaires buy at least $2,500 worth of Bitcoin. One time for forever, never again. The ultra wealthy guys like me buy at least 2.5 million. Mine is far, far, far greater than that. So I think that's a very conservative number. And the billionaires each just 200 of them, 10% by a billion each. Now you're sitting there going, a billion, dude. When a guy's worth 10 billion, he could blow a billion dollars. He's still going to be worth $9 billion. But when his eight buddies say, hey, I'm buying too, by the way, there's Nothing that stops 10 billionaires to look at each other over a nice $11 million dinner and go, hey, well seriously, 11 guys show up with 650ers, they go into a hotel, they take the whole hotel out. They don't care what any of this costs. And they all look at each other and go, hey, why don't, hey, boys, why don't we buy $10 billion worth of Bitcoin now? Think about that, right? Nothing happens to them if they're wrong. Nothing. Zero, man. 2516 billionaires. That's before an ETF. That's before Blackrock. That's before counterfeit. Gerald, this is really simple, man. Supply. How many guys do you know walked around there? They're walking around with a $50,000 Rolex watch or $500,000 Rolex. My brother spent a thousand bitcoin on an airplane and he will change it in four years, dude. Okay, so a thousand every four years. There were 6,000 super heavy jets sold in the last five years, all for over a thousand bitcoin. Don't tell me these people want. They, these rich people have never seen anything they can't buy, okay? Like, seriously, they're buying moon trips and Mars trips, but once you get 30, half a million dollar watches on your. Dude, I've had a lot of girlfriends. Like, once you get too many girlfriends, you're like, okay, I think I'm done now. I can't handle any more of this. I left LA because it was impossible. I'm like, oh my God, man. I wasn't worried about getting disease, dude. I was worried. I'm just where I'm worn out. I, I need to do something else. You see, I think it's a good point though. You can get too much of anything and I, I think the world. You're old enough. You remember a guy named Dan Jurgen that wrote the Book. He wrote like two or three books, spoke to every prime minister on the planet. His whole thesis was Peak Oil. Dan Jurgen became very, very famous. He was so wrong, it was stupid. I mean, this guy made probably $100 million. I'm being wrong. However, he made me think he should have written a book. Peak consumption, I think that's where we're at. I think everybody has more than they need. Maybe not the food, maybe not the right job, but things, homes, most. What's the. Do you know what the ownership. Real estate ownership is in the U.K. is that percentage versus rental? I don't know, 72% America. It's ridiculously high.
72% ownership. Rental.
No ownership. Which is. Is a lie. They do not own these homes. I am the closest guy to owning this home than them because I'm going to pay my taxes. The bank owns this home. They gave me 120% loan to value on it. Now here's an interesting story. If you don't believe in bitcoin, you want to look at real estate. I bought this house October 2020, had I put it in a bitcoin. This house is worth $76 million. It's a nice house. You're welcome to come see me sometime. It is not worth $76 million. I paid 8 for it. Like that's inflation. See, I don't.
You can't. You can't live in bitcoin.
I can't live in an apartment building either that I have with my brother. It's sold, it's rented out. I can't live in my $225,000 Range Rover. I can't live in my gold. I can't live in my bank. So I have a plane. I can't live in my plane, right? So I can rent anywhere. Dude, I can go live in a hotel. I stayed at the Lanesboro Hotel for a year. I didn't have to own the hotel.
Do you think you should have not bought your own home then? Is that what you're saying? Bought? I mean, like you said, the bank owns it.
Well, you tell me. As an advisor, I had an option to buy something for 8 million that's probably now worth 12 to 14 four years. Or I could have put that 8 million to work and it would be worth 72. The numbers speak for themselves.
Yeah, I mean, I think if you, if you have a binary choice between A or B, but you're wealthy enough to also be able to own your own home, have somewhere that's your base, you depreciate run some taxes against it. There's various benefits to owning your own home. It's not like it's your only $8 million because people act when they say rent or buy. It's like it's their only choice or it's their only one purchase.
But most people, most people weren't in my position when they bought the house in the first place. And the truth is, if I was only looking for, for value, I should have taken the 8 million, put into Bitcoin and rented something. I have 15,000 square feet here. It's probably more than I need now. The funny thing is I've jammed the government because I basically went to the government. You guys forced me to leave my 27,000 square foot office building. You wouldn't let me go there, you wouldn't let my kids go to school. So I went and bought a house that I can do it all day. I have a schoolroom in it. I have an art facility, I have a gym. I have, you know, I have almost, I do all my business from here. I had Vivek here, I've invited Trump here, I've invited a bunch of politicians here. I'm going back to the U.S. government going, hey, 85% of this house is for work. So I'll be taking a nice big tax write off. You guys forced me into this through Covid Asta La Vista. My, my tax guy is going, this makes total sense. Well now my house all of a sudden is worth ten grand a month to me. That's what it's cost me to live. That's a good trade. Most people can't do this, okay? So it's, I've re engineered this whole thing in my favor. I think most people should be renting a home. And because what we're not understanding is how much does it cost me to manage this property, right? Somebody comes to the door and they want to paint the doors, I have to stop talking to you and let them in. That's a cost, okay? I'd rather have a conversation with you. The painter is going to walk in here and he's going to want to educate me on the paint. I don't care. I don't want to learn about paint. I don't want to learn about plumbing. I had the sprinkler guys out wanting to show me about pressures and my bro, I'm not farming a sprinkler company, okay? Just fix the shit and give me an invoice, please. Right? But this is what happens when you own the house. Not to mention you and your. Me and my wife were supposed to be buying this dream and we're going to be all lovey dovey, but what really happens Saturday and Sunday I get to go on the roof and clean a bunch of shit instead of making love with her. It's the dumbest thing in the world, dude, right? You get married to have sex and have a family and have adventures and then three weeks later you realize, shit, I'm a plumber, man. I'm a plumber on Saturdays and Sundays and I take out the trash Monday morning and then I get to go back to work. If you didn't own that house, this.
I own my own house. I just pay someone to do without.
I do all that, okay? But some people are cheap and some people can't afford it because their mortgage is ripping their face off. So they can't afford to spend $500 with a plumber, right? And the plumber sitting here going, I have to charge 500 bucks. I can't charge $10 to come to your house anymore. This is a spiral of events. I mean, everybody's going to start to feel this inflation, okay? If you're feeling like you're trying to swim and you can't even keep your head up above water, it's becoming heavy. That is inflation. And it doesn't mean that you can't buy things as cheaply. It might mean that you can't get access to the market or you can't win or Google is protected and you're not. I mean, somebody just sent me 300 bucks. You want to hear about like gross unfairness? They sent me three bucks on one of these streaming things right on this. You know how that works. They just. 300 bucks. Google took 100 of it, did 33% just for sitting on their platform. That is outrageously not okay, okay? Outrageously not okay. It's so not okay. I'm actually going to hire a lawyer and go, let's file a suit against him. Somebody has to do this, okay? The regular old job. That's not cool. Imagine if you're driving down the M25 and you get a bill from the government, your tires hit the road today. We're a little broke. We're going to scrape you.
Well, they pretty much are doing that. They are doing that.
Exactly.
They're doing it left, right and center.
Yeah, yeah. Because you guys ain't filing suits and going, this is ridiculous, man.
So you think we the people are complicit because we're not pushing back at them? Enough.
I think we are so complicit. It's disgusting. We sit here and argue and complain about everything. And then I'm like, hey, let me see your. Let me see your checkbook. You think, you know it's not fair. And then you look at the people they spend money with every month. I'm like, wow, let's see. You have $9,000 worth of debt with bank of America through Visa card. They're your enemy. Why are you paying them 18%? Like, are you kidding me? Let's see. Netflix. You told me Netflix does nothing but sell movies that are about wokeness and snowflakes. Why do you keep spending money with them? You tell me that. You know, the telephones that your kids have at 12 years old are causing problems, but they still have phones, by the way. My kids did not have phones. And if I thought they was hurting them, I take them away. And they're 17, and they can buy a fucking telephone when they can afford one. President Biden has a kid that can't keep his face out of crack. Dude. If that would have been my kid, he would have been in a jail cell for four years of my term. No one would have heard a word from that punk. Okay? This is showing me this. There isn't anyone managing their lives well. And they're leaders if they can't even manage their kids, man. Right? It just. It's. It's so crazy. So I think these are all forms of inflation. And I'm really busy looking around going, hey, I don't think I want to deal. There was a big company that I spent 18 grand a year with a grocery store, and they. They made me stand in line, put a mask on, and did all this thing during COVID I have not ever walked back into that building again. Like, not one time, man. And so they lost big time. So I'm going to suggest to everyone the most damage we can do as regular citizens is stop spending money with the enemy. All of which have quarterly earnings. This is very important for us to know where the. Where the weak points are in the enemy. And one of them is they love their little quarterly earnings. Stop sending money. See how quick the analysts jump on them and go, whoa, we have a problem. Budweiser. We woke up Budweiser. Right? So. And I don't even think Budweiser really met. You can't expect senior management to look at every promotion. I'm drinking Budweiser today. But to me, that was a really, really powerful event to go, ooh, something is changing on this planet, no one is going to wake up until you till it. Until they financially have to. That's the only time then it gets their attention. So yeah, I think there's a lot of complicity and I think it's been a slippery slope for 50 or 60 years. We shot a, we shot John F. Kennedy when I was seven years old and we tried to do it two weeks ago. And until we admit as a country that we are a criminal organization with three letter agencies literally controlling the trajectory of our vision as a future country, same with yours, by the way. We're living a lie. And I can't not say it anymore. Like I'm too old to not say it because if I don't say it, I am part of the problem. Does that make sense to you?
Yeah, it makes sense to me.
Like open our mouth?
Yeah. Yeah. Well, I do it most days on my social media and I always have to fight with get posts getting taken down and people are scared to speak out here because they can just be canceled or just quietly shadow band over there. And you know this stuff about like you can't even search for Donald Trump, Donald Trump on Google, you know, Elon Musk's showing that at the moment everything seems very corrupt at worst or maximum shareholder value at the expense of everything at best, depending on the way you want to look at. Just feels like, it feels like we're powerless. We gave all away our data. If they want to take our cash off us, they can. Everything's digital, so they can just tax us at source. If they want to take all the money out of our bank accounts, they can. So for too long, like even, you know, with all the vaccines and everything, you know, like we're being so complicit for too long now they have so much power, they can just take everything off you. How do we combat that?
It's very interesting, you know when now I'm noticing that I have to be really careful with how I answer questions because that this is a question that could, you know, if I was a motive, I could go off and say stupid things.
So the problem though is already, already me just asking you a question because I can't say the C word or the v word on YouTube because they won't let us put videos up. If we say Covid and vaccine, you can't talk about gender on LinkedIn. Like it just what? But then if we just both hush hush because when does anything change, by the way? I'm not trying to lure, I'm not trying to lure you into say anything you don't want to say, Gary? Yeah, that's not my point here, but.
No, no, I just got to be. I'm gonna be. I've learned to be a little thoughtful. Look, I think the answer is that everyone that's watching this really smashes the. Like, subscribe to his channel, Follow him. Now, why am I saying that? Because I don't think anybody ever tells you why you're doing that. Hey, follow me. Follow me. I don't give a if you follow me or not. Me, I like you. It's awesome. I don't. Now I'm not getting dopamine hits from people following me. The power of the follow is I need to not look. I am most certainly going to have. I'm going to be censored, and I'm probably going to be hassled a lot if my audience is staggeringly large. And then you guys have finally gotten out of your own way and realized, hey, you're actually complicit. Every one one of us is complicit. Otherwise we wouldn't be here. Dude, we should have fought this. My parents should have fought this when they I was seven and said, no, you cannot kill a man. What the hell? Okay? And then another guy, and another guy. Since then, we've killed millions of people with my tax dollars, okay? My dollars, let's be honest, went and killed a child somewhere. I had nothing to do with it or say about it. But as long as I keep paying these taxes, I'm kind of like, now I know it, what's it going to take for me not to do that? Fuck off. I'm not paying. Take me to jail, okay? But I can't keep killing people. If a million people said that we would have another. We would have a nude moment. I don't think this is going to come back. Look, we're not going to be in power if we do not take the power back. And power is taken. It is not given by anyone. Never. Not in history. Dude, is anyone just. Here, Gary, here have your sovereignty. Fucking crazy. If you think that's going to happen. Not in 7,000 years has that happened. This is humanity, okay? And this is what makes me so sure on Bitcoin. And I'm sorry to bounce around so much, all right? It's fun. Like, you know and I know that you. There is only one human being like you, okay? And you've spent a little time with Grant. You're pretty much shaking your head going, whoa, these two cats are one way different. Like, we're very similar, but there's a lot of differences. If you and I have not, over a long period in history, been able to really value another person's creativity, value uniqueness, inability to be mutated, morphed, or copied, I am certain that humanity just has no way to value finite and unique. I just don't think humans know anything about anything other than if I can drill it, I can burn it. Like, we love using shit, right? We understand numbers, but do not understand value. And to me, that's the message that we have to get through to a vast, vast number of people. Dollar or sterling, cost of something has nothing to do with the value of something. Not one penny is moving between you and I. I have had a good experience here, is brought value to me. Hopefully what I'm doing with you is going to bring value to you and others. That's currency, man. Okay? And that's a relationship. And these relationships are really, really important to me. I want to be able to call you and go, hey, how many people do you have, man? You got a million people? Let's do a podcast together and talk about how to create clarity in your business. Or like, every one of us should make a lot of money right now, okay? We're going to need a lot of money to fight. So if you guys aren't, like, really getting productive, you're of absolutely no use to me. Like, seriously, you actually have zero use to me unless you're willing to pick up a shovel, dig a hole, make a phone call, grab me a cup of coffee, help you help me, help power players do, because we have an army of, like, they'll. They'll just beat you up with questions all day long. They're middle of. You're going to have a hard time even saying anything negative about these people because they're just going to be so gray. There is no gray in the future. It's going to either pick. You said, hey, how can you be so seriously concentrated? I look at you and go, dude, how are you not so concentrated in bitcoin? Like, it's staggering to me.
Maybe I'll be a bit more concentrated after this conversation.
Most people are after they hang out with me for an hour. I'm one of the most bullish bitcoiners with the earliest. Like, I have not been in this space long. I mean, I was with Sailor last week. I mean, I know a lot of people in this space. Now I look at all of them except Saylor. Like, you guys. You guys don't really believe they don't they have ptsd? Most bitcoiners that have been around eight years, they're literally. They have ptsd. It's been a hard ride. A hard ride. The most money. I'm going to make a prediction here. The most money that's ever been made. Bitcoin's been around since 2015, little baby. The most money that's. That will ever be made and retained is not the prior 15 years. That will be the least money ever made in bitcoin and most certainly the least amount of money that was retained by a bunch of people that clearly had no idea how big this was going to be. This is a very common problem I've seen in five industries where the founder is the one who has a good idea, but literally their good idea is imagined by someone else as being a super great idea and is that other person that takes it to being a super great idea. Bill Gates. Okay, Steve Jobs. I mean, all these stories. When you really think about it, there's usually somebody that comes up from behind and supercharges the idea. And bitcoin has been grossly mismarketed, miss. Sold, mispromoted. And we're still at $1.2 trillion.
Do you think at some point in the future, fiat currency ends because how much can the value of it go down to the point where it's just not worth anything anymore?
You're sterling. Your beautiful sterling notes are the oldest currency on the planet. The US Dollar is the second oldest currency on the planet. I think the ruble, the Russian, is maybe six or seven years old. I think they're in the top 10. So the answer is the US dollar. Your sterling pound, though, will go away. Question is, when is it this century, Next century? They all go away, dude. They're designed to go away. And this is the opportunity for bitcoin because it's dawned on me and it's taken me four years to figure it out. Everybody kept saying bitcoin's really complicated. Bitcoin's really complicated. Bitcoin's really complicated. You need to study more. I think I got bitcoin within the first 15 minutes. What's very difficult, and this is the part I think Grant is struggling with, is people don't understand how money is actually moving through the system today. The system they are in, they don't understand. And so you're constantly looking at bitcoin going, yeah, but that's not the way it works. Yeah, that's the problem.
This recent budget should warn you that your pension is not Safe and secure and they're coming for your inheritance. Do you even know how much is in your pension or where your pension is invested? Add to this the recent inheritance tax grab on your pensions and the risk of a market crash. So I think for me it's an opportunity to really educate people on finance money, Energy, actually, just energy, kinetic energy versus potential energy savings. What does savings mean? Not, not just leaving money sitting in the bank doing nothing.
Well, I call them degradings accounts, not savings accounts.
There you go.
Because then they're not savings. You are losing your money but being marketed by the banks and the governments that you're protecting your money. I mean, we should be calling it storage, not savings because it's being stored. But the problem is, you know, you wouldn't store your meat in a warm, in a warm bedroom because you know it would decay in a few days. If you knew how much your money decayed in a savings account, you wouldn't leave it there. You'd store it somewhere where it doesn't decay, where it goes up in value. Because why would the system want to teach you that? Because then you wouldn't leave your money in a savings account.
Yeah, I can't tell you the amount of companies, medium sized, small companies have a million, 3 million, 10 million, 8 million on their bank, on their bank account. They never need more than one business. Like I'VE business been running 24 months, you know, okay, I know how much money I need at the very peak. Just like a family, you need 1 million at the peak and there's $8 million sitting there. And just because somebody came up with an idea to build something, a software, they all of a sudden decide they know everything and they need $7 million sitting in the bank doing absolutely nothing. Right? Literally. And they don't know what to invest it in. For some of these people to take two, three, four million dollars of that and put it in bitcoin and just let it sit there knowing you're never going to need the cash. Wow, it's such a cool opportunity. I offered someone that had $70 million business, they had $7 million on their balance sheet. I said, hey, buy 3 million, I'll sell you a put option. You'll never Enjoy Bitcoin below 37,000. They should have hit me because it went to 16 and all I wanted was, hey, look, I will guarantee that you'll never lose that $2 million or whatever it was at 37 GS per Bitcoin. But after 60 or 55 or something, I want 20% of the ups. And they said no. I'm like, oh my God, if somebody offered, I would have ripped their face off. Right? I mean, absolutely ripped their face off. Now that thing went to 16 and now it's at 69. She would have been just fine without the put option. So, so these, you will start to have very smart middle sized companies. Look at this and go, hey, there's a better way to do this. If you're not, you're going to get run over. I mean, imagine trying to compete with somebody whose treasury is going up 25 to 50% a year. But your sales aren't, your cost of sales aren't going up. You're not having to go to more trade shows. You're actually going to less trade shows, less contacts, making more money, spending less energy. You know, as you and I get older, I think time becomes more important. And bitcoin is the only time machine I can buy. And once you start playing with it, you're like, oh, this is going to cheat time. Meaning I think I'm going to accelerate my returns in a way that I could never do in say real estate or other assets, especially private equity, which has made more billionaires than real estate by long shot. Right. Where do you think all those distributions from real estate are going to go to? They're not going to buy more bonds and equities. Not these prices. Are you going to go into Slave in the video? I think a big wedge of that is going to go into Bitcoin because it is like a private equity facility. It has no franchise fees. It has no. You don't have to clean windows, no plumbing, no employees, no human error risk. You can insure it if you want. It doesn't require a lot of your work. That's a pretty cool thing for a guy that's used to a lot of action.
How do you generate your income? Bitcoin doesn't have an income stream attached. Not conventionally, anyway. So what do you use to generate income?
Do you like income, just out of curiosity? Yeah. You do?
Yeah. I mean, I hate income. I like all forms of money. I like capital, I like income. I like equity. But yeah, I like income. I mean, when I have a problem when I make income is getting rid of the tax, and then what am I going to do with the income over and above my expenses and then probably going to put them back into a capital asset again. Why do you hate income then? And what's your income strategy? Because you still need some of it. Yeah, but you got to pay your mortgage on that house.
But I don't like killing people. So I would rather my income just literally meet my expenses to the penny. I don't. I don't want any income. I. Absolutely.
Because you. Because you don't want to pay much tax because tax is funding killing people.
Is that what you mean? Absolutely. Well, if they knew what they were doing with it, you know, if they. If they could. Actually.
The wastage. The wastage is disgraceful.
Disgraceful. Okay? It's. It's heinous. And it. It, look, look, if you let a wild group of animals out and you give them their balance sheet, you don't ask them to do it all every day, they're going to take advantage of you. Hello. Yeah, You. You. You put a prison together and you. You leave the door open. The prison. Pretty sure they're gonna leave, okay. After they rip your head off. Just like there is no order in this country anymore. No one suffers for doing things the Google doesn't suffer. Google just writes a check for a billion dollars to the doj, says, peace, baby. Okay? It's ridiculous, man. It is. Absolutely. They should be put out of business. How many times can you pay a doj? Fine until you finally go, hey, look, this guy can't operate anymore, okay? He's. He's a naughty guy. We do. This is the schizophrenia in this world. It's not fair. You should treat everyone exactly the same. So I think. I think bitcoin is going to start shedding light on a lot of things. And. And once you start to realize the waste on this planet, bitcoin's just got to sit there. People are going to figure it out, man. I mean, my brother, when this hits 150, he's going to look around and go, whoa, dude, what is happening here? Okay, when, when, when my. See, right now, he's looking at real estate, going, oh, he's gonna be able to buy a lot of real estate. Yeah, dude, but there's gonna be more real estate sold than you can buy. I wouldn't get in a hurry. I mean, this knife is going to be falling for a little bit longer, I think, right? I think a lot of people get very cemented into their business and sometimes can't look at another opportunity. I've seen this happen a lot, including myself, where you're just so marred up in dealing with something you can't really see the future. I think as you guys start to realize that blackrock's here for something way bigger than bitcoin, it's hilarious to me, all these bitcoins, oh, they're buying bitcoin. They're gonna, you know, they're gonna store up all the bitcoin and own it all. I'm like, okay, well, that suits me fine. Like, I'm happy to be in the treasury with them, but I don't think they're like that. I think that they see a much bigger opportunity and it's going to end up in real estate, bonds, equities, Everything will be token. You'll be able to buy fractions of a real estate, piece of real estate, fractions of a piece of art. But we're probably three to five years out, right? These are really complex machinations, for lack of a better word. But if you look at all the banks, they all have an incentive to sell fractured units of things.
Why?
It's the only way we get out of this problem. A Picasso cost $100 million. You and I are not going to bid on that. I can assure you, you and I are not in the bid process. What if, however, Pacaso was offered to 8 billion people and they could buy 11000 of it or 1 10,000 of it? Is the price of that Picasso going to go up or go down? You just increase potential demand by 8.
Billion people, and there's still only one of them? There's still only one of them.
Correct? Correct. Right. So you have to believe, throw more demand in there. You're not selling one, you're selling fractions. That price goes up. What would happen to apartment building?
Well, it's been happening already because we've taken big buildings in London and made them into tiny flats. And then people are Airbnb them. People are living in smaller and smaller and smaller units, but the price is going up and up and up. And that's just going to continue because of inflation, among other things.
That's right. That's right. Now the Airbnb in that scenario, that all goes away. That's not fair. That's a criminal thing. Okay? People buying houses, lying to the bank, knowing full well they're speculating on a piece of property they're going to rent out, violating the local neighbor laws. In a digital economy, none that happens. Like, you don't see that that's costing you money. You don't want those people doing that. They're breaking the rules while you're having to live within all your rules.
So back to this cash flow question. Yeah, you sort of answered it. But so is your strategy minimize the cash, minimize the income tax, therefore maximize your expenses through your business so that most of the things that you buy that you need, you put through your business. So you're minimizing your tax and you're minimizing the tax in the business and minimizing the tax you're paying in income. Because tax is so penal, as soon as you draw any income, half of it's gone and then they heinously waste it. So you're just living a different way now. You just changing and tightening where you spend your money and spending mostly through the business.
Well, it drives tremendous discipline. Okay, You've got a bunch of buddies, I'm sure, generate a lot of cash. Where they do, they go, they go buy Ferrari for a year, like, okay, but if I have a limited amount of income, I don't have a lot of disposable income to put to work on. On dumb stuff. This gets back to looking at your balance sheet and saying, hey, who am I spending money with? Because I'm very careful. Like, I spend money with people I like now. Not, like, if you're on my side of the balance sheet, dude, I'm spending money with you. If you're in any way irritating to my goals, I am not going to spend money with you or spend any time with you. None. Okay? I will not juice your engine. I won't. I won't even feed back to you on Twitter like, I don't care. Just stop paying any attention to them whatsoever. I think if you had that policy of I don't want any income. I see a lot of people off very worried about income. One, it controls your behavior. Two, you increase the value of the assets that are sitting under you. I am grossly underpaid most of my life. Grossly. Like right now I'm being grossly underpaid. I don't make a dollar, I don't charge a dollar. 27 year old kids making 120 grand. I'm not making anything, but I get all the equity and you know, one day we'll, I'll be able to sell something. One that's really cool that the owner doesn't have a lot of income. If you're working for me, you want to know, hey, Gary's going to have an event one day. Last thing you as an employee want to do, get involved with a private company. Hey, we're going to sell one day. Here's 1% equity. But the owners never sell, right? So you're all, you're, you're, you're probably taking a pay salary cut for the equity. But you don't have a strategy because, because your Boss is making 20 grand a month. Why does he need to sell, right? He's flying first class on the company, making 20 GS a month. When your boss doesn't make any money and you know they like money. That's the guy I want to work for, right? The guy that's like, and I want my employees in deep debt buying Ferraris so they're hustling so that, see, see, look at the way I look at it. Hey, I like my employees being in debt. But if you're listening to this, what I'm telling you, you don't want to be in debt and have somebody pull your string. You want to be free. I think this will get people to understand once they do this, I don't need income. Look at your home. Your home is costing you more than you think. I would encourage everyone to look at all their assets and go, what asset is going to increase 10% a year, 20% a year, 30% a year, 40% a year or 50% a year. If you have no answers to that, to the assets you have, you are making a monster mistake not looking at bitcoin. I don't care what the distributions are to you. Because when you compare bitcoin at a 40 to 45% CAGR and you compare, have an investment in an IRA with British Gas that's paying a 0.5% dividend. It's not even close, man. Not even close. And 15 years is not yesterday. This is now a decent, you know, you. For you to bet against that curve that bitcoin does is. Would be very brave because it's not 12 years, it's not 12 days, right? It's a 15 year chart. Even remove the first four or five. So I, you know, I just think that people are going to rebalance their portfolios. Sadly, they've had this big window to front run every major corporation in the world. I think you have another six months now, based on the Trump conversation, to be able to get in front of the, the sovereigns. But this, what the sovereigns are doing right now, what China responded to Kennedy, to Trump in the Nashville bitcoin conference and also Russia. Russia and China both had a response to Trump's comments on bitcoin. They're coming. Why would you want to wait for that? Okay, like there's trillions of dollars. They're going to do. They're not going to do. Like, they're not. Countries are not coming here for a dollar. Now this is game theory, right? The whole, My whole premise on bitcoin five years ago was if we can get a country or countries to start deploying capital into bitcoin, this will become a game theory, right? Imagine if your council in your town, Peterborough, put bitcoin on the balance sheet four years ago and the town next to it doesn't have it. You're going to have perfect streets, dude, and they're not. And they're going to look around, go, whoa, what happened to Peterborough? Hell, Peterborough, hey, I'll buy you, right? I mean, you'll have situations where Peterborough could walk in. I'll buy all of Chelsea. I mean, these numbers are staggering at this point because the other one's going down, right? The other counties just getting slaughtered. There is no investment, dude. Their investment is to call you up and say, here's, here's, I need a check from you for taxes. They have no way to make money. Think about it. Nothing.
Well, that's the, the only way our country makes money is taxes from us. The UK doesn't own anything anymore.
Nothing. And you have no natural resources. You can't even go bang on the producers anymore. That's all of Europe. All of Europe. You're actually in better shape than Europe because you left, but all of Europe, man, you have no energy, no food, you won't let people frack. You're never going to have an energy resource ever again. You can't. You can solar your way. You can't solar and win your way out. Not when you're on an island called the United Kingdom. It's not happening. So you're going to be a demand, a part of the demand, and that's it. You better want a lot of cheap energy. And I think that'll probably happen for you guys because you're going to probably issue a $50 trillion 100 year bond and just nuclearize the entire continental Europe, which puts crude oil and natural gas into the dumpster. No one's thinking this shit through. Okay, but, but I think the nuclear power industry will be one of the biggest bitcoin miners and it will destroy the fossil fuel market. Over, over our lifetimes that you'll see crude oil never see. $120, we'll be at 40, 30, $20 crude oil for many, many, many years to come. And natural gas will be super cheap and we'll have so much electricity it'll be frightening. Which is very promising.
So Gary, we do a round called Disruptors round on the show. Going to move to that in a moment. Just one more question in this round, which is what are you a most excited about and be most scared about for the future?
Most excited about? Wow. I think I'm most excited about the first time in my life that I feel like the world is wide open and not blocking. It's like maybe it's just taken me a little while to understand this, but I see the world very, very wide open for alpha disruption. Like I'm actually being probably more valued today than in, in this industry than in any other industry. It's always been a bit of a, hey, he's an outsider. We don't really like him. And in this industry it seems like the world. So I'm excited about how open it is. Yeah, like it's, it's bizarre, dude. I, I can go talk to leading religious leaders, leading political leaders, like very leading across a really broad landscape. Treasury department people, government people, technologists, and now this whole bitcoin financial energy world. Dude, that's exciting. Like, I, I've worked my whole life. I don't have hobbies. This is it. This is my game. I love doing. I'm like a professional athlete. I just happen to, I, my professional athletic allows me to start at 20 and end at 80. Like we don't die early because we get hit on a football field or rugby match. So it's just been my little game and I have a Lot of fun. And to have an open door almost everywhere. And I think the doors are opening more. I think we need a lot of transparency. And that's probably the way for me to put it. I see us, if we just have a few brave people, I see us moving into a very, very authentic world, one full of transparency. And if we don't have it that way, I will be unhappy. I will be scared. Actually, maybe this is the flip side of your answer. I will be concerned because I think you either get more opaque as you move down the opaque transparency line or you get more transparent, but you don't get both. And we have 50 years of extreme opacity. Just no audits by anyone. US government, Inland Revenue, military, your military, their military, our mil. Who cares, dude? No audits, no responsibility. You're going to have a lot of crime and a lot of abuse and like to think that we are going to have any. It's ridiculous that we even vote on these people, okay? They will be full of crime and abuse and it's ridiculous if the government can't show its books. It's going to happen though, because just X alone, okay? I don't get any of my news anymore from anybody. X is literally X was on top of that assassination attempt three days before mainstream media. Mainstream media three days later was. Well, Trump looks like he might have had a little foot stumble there. Yeah, it looks like a bullet went through his fucking coat and one through his ear. Now we're finding out there's two bullets, dude. Heard that one. Two bullets. I thought there was two bullets when it happened because you could see a hole in this suit. The technology we have today is picking it all up, dude. Like it's picking a bullet up that's going 21, 50ft per second. This technology and all these draconian parasites who play in this bizarre game, these vampires, their hubris is so massive they forgot everything's being recorded the last 20 years. Go ask Hunter. I think he kind of forgot that this stays everywhere. So I'm hoping I'm right. It's probably a 70 to 30 chance I'm wrong just because I think these people are crazy, man. And there is no stopping them because it's either leaning into opacity or leaning into transparency. But you can have both. And in opacity, there's crime and evil. Always, always, always, always. It is a key leading indicator to me. You can go back as long as you want, dude. Maddock mad off whatever he was doing. Enron, WorldCom, what's the German bank, Deutsche Bank. Deutsche Bank's been doing it to you guys for 20 years and they still let him live? Okay, it's 20 years Deutsche Bank's been scrubbing the numbers, right? Am I right? Yeah, yeah.
I don't have it. I don't have enough information.
Well, dude, like, it all came out of England. I mean, you had Sumatomo crisis. You had. Yeah, like, you have the LSE being managed, fines being charged to the LSE managing the gold market, managing the Libor market. They don't even use the word libor anymore. You know that it's. So for now, they came up with it, right? Why didn't they use Libor? Because you can Google manipulating Libor now. They change the name. So for literally virtually the same exact interest rate calculation, but they don't want it to be associated with manipulation. So we live in a monopoly world controlled by a small group of cartel members. And I think Bitcoin and the digitization of some of this technology is opening a little door to stop some of that, at least compete with it. So we can see, okay, this old cartel world works like this and this new world works like this. Who's doing better? And this world is going to. This world will be awesome. And there's no way for these guys to fuck with it. Not. Not really. It's too decentralized at this point.
So I just want to ask one thing, because you've mentioned it a few times. Just what's your overall thoughts on the Trump assassination?
I don't think this was probably the first attempt predictable. I mean, you can go back 10 days before that, and I am literally on, oh, it'll happen. It'll happen before August. It'll happen in August. Now. Now I'm saying it will happen again. I'm telling you it will happen again. I do not expect Mr. Trump to make it. I gave a million dollars to him, knowing full well I was probably talking to a dead man. And that saddened me. Okay. Because he is an absolute champion. Dude, I've looked in his eyeballs. I have been in his space. He is an absolute champion. I would work for him for $0 just to hang in his space. And I would be terrified. And I'm a beast, man. I would be terrified to work for Trump. He's got energy like the likes I've never seen before, and I've met a lot of people. I think the thing that's most concerning to me about the assassination attempt is how oblivious people are to it. They've already forgotten and really, what's upsetting is that I have a lot of Democratic friends who didn't grow some spine and some balls and go, hey, that's not cool. I don't care who did it or who got shot. That is not cool. And I did not see enough of you guys stand up and go. Including Robert Kennedy Jr. He should have came out immediately, said, hey, they did this to my dad kinetically. They did this to my uncle kinetically. They did it to mlk kinetically. For the last five, eight months, they've been trying to legally assassinate him and now they've used weapons. And this has to stop. Otherwise, why are we voting? Let's just vote for the CIA and let Mark Zuckerberg and Eric Schmidt pick who the fucking President's going to be. If that's the country we live in, I'm out of here, dude. I am so out of here. It's unbelievable. And. And it is deeply, deeply concerning. Massively disturbing that four days later our President just resigns on Twitter. When did that start happening? Signature. Completely different than any signature we've ever seen. It's plural. Biden's. So maybe Jill wrote the letter. He's in. Hasn't been seen in three days. I mean, what third world country is this? This is the United States of America that consumes 25% of all the fuel on this planet and has a military complex feet on the ground in 186 countries. And you have no clue where the standing President is. I'd be concerned, bro, because that chick, she has 108 IQ. This will be the lowest IQ that has ever been in the United States presidency ever. Ever. Okay? Nixon was brilliant. Kennedy was brilliant. Churchill, brilliant. They weren't perfect people for. What's her name? Brilliant. Margaret Thatcher. I mean, this is what America's doing. I love getting on these spaces and asking one question to all the women and it goes like this. So cool being old, single. Nobody can pull on me. Is this the best you guys could do? You had to go to the bottom of the barrel to be the representation for femininity and a female leader. Seriously, I would be so embarrassed, dude. I would rather a man in there. If I'm a woman. I would most certainly rather a man in there than this piece of garbage. If she had a monster iq. Cooled it, by the way. Don't care what she did in her past, okay? I don't care if she was a whore. Could care less, man. I don't care if she took money. What I do care about is she has no history doing anything productive. Show me some one thing, please. Okay. I'm sure she got on her knees once. I know a lot of women that got on their knees and sucked dick. Okay, Big deal, okay? This is what human beings do to each other. But has she done anything whatsoever that we would want her to be the leader of this country? I'm really struggling with how you guys came up with this solution. Oh, that's right, you didn't. Actually, you didn't. Joe came, Joe just quit. I mean, I don't think she makes it to the, to the election personally. I think they will look at this after she speaks a couple of times and she'll probably, I think Biden dies in the next month. Kamala steps in as president, she then picks one of these women from either Obama or from Clinton and they go do their rock and roll party for four years, try to take over control. If they do, hopefully he doesn't get shot. We win, Trump wins. And for the next 12 years, the Democrats are fucked and we can actually sort this world out. One of the reasons I gave a million dollars was just to be able to tell everybody, hey, this is not a four year event. Not a chance. Not Donald Trump, not his whole family, not me and Grant and every other great guy. This is going to take 10 years with 50 years to fix, okay? It's such a mess. This is not a four year cycle. And that's why I really like the guys I see around him. And I've met him, okay? I didn't just go, here's some money, Donald. I met Vivek, I've met a bunch of the 37 year old guys around Trump that he continues to bring into his camp. And dude, they called me, okay? They're pinging me. Little old Gary Cardone. Could have been you from Peterborough, right? Hey, this is a bill on digital assets. What do you think about this? Should we sign this? Nobody's ever called me before. They're asking for help, man. I actually know how to build businesses. And they're calling other people, people like me, people bigger than me, people. I think that's pretty cool. I called the Democrats, said, hey, happy to interview. Nobody wanted to show up. I call the Republicans, five people show up. I called the independence, Mr. Kennedy, he didn't show up. Just finally met him the other day. So it's cool. I'm not, I'm, I'm just saying, like I, I've been given access to a group of people and I kind of dig them, which is consistent with what I just said, hey, if you have an open door policy for me, I'm really willing to, like, learn what you're doing. But this is going to be a generation of openness. If it's not open. Oh, it's going to get dark. Dark, dude. It's gonna get ugly. And. And we're gonna. I think we'll be shut down in our homes again. I don't mean to be so negative. Grant gets upset because, like, you're a little negative, man. Audience doesn't like this. I'm not here for smiles and giggles. I think you need to get your together. See, I don't care If I have 3 million people I need. It's important that people understand. This is it, dude. Okay? Because that 12 years I just talked about, if this man gets shot, we're gonna get like, I'm gonna bend over and lube up because it's coming. I might as well just lube up. Okay? But. But I literally would be frightened for my wealth, the work I've done. I have not taken anything from anyone. And I will be terrified for my children. I'm already terrified for my kids. They look around, they're like, oh, wow, all the kids are snowflakes, man. They're babies. The. The girls are tougher than the boys. That. That's my. My girls. I don't think my girls have a. They are. Can you imagine my girls, a 17 and a 14 year old trying to get a boyfriend that looks anywhere like me? Dude, they're already terrified. Hey, you can go on dates right now. Just make sure he's got the ball. He's got front door. Did I, Did I do something there? Can you.
Yeah, I can see you said make sure you've got the balls, and that bit just cut out. You censored yourself to walk up to.
The front door and look me in the eyeballs. And my. My girls know, like, oh, we. We will introduce a boy to dad. Like, you know, it's just. Well, they just know not to bring a punk home. So I hope, I hope I'm not too negative for you, but I do.
No, you're not. I like. I like people's honest thoughts. You're not too negative for me. Also, I've always believed in business. Yeah, look at the upside, but protect the downside as well, and that's not being negative. And everything has duality. You know, there's good and bad in everything. There's upside and downside in everything. And, you know, if you can go to that place and look in that downside and have a plan and face it and go there and create some strength and resolve when you're in there, then the upside is even sweeter. That's just my view.
No, I agree. And look, I don't think, I'm not a big believer in the free money thing. No interest rates, all that. I don't, I don't think any of that needs to happen. What we need to do is expand the business opportunities, remove most of the regulators from, from their insanity. I mean, you know, they throw regulators at some of these industries and the industries are so complex. I mean, I spent time with one on Monday. After seven hours, she said, you got anything to add? And I'm like, like you're an embarrassment, dude. Like, you're a professional lawyer, spent 10 years studying law. You can study this industry whatsoever. You don't have a clue what you're talking about. And you're wasting all your clients money. That's how I kind of ended up. She loved me, but Utter, utter, utter waste of a human being, if you're listening. Utter waste of a human being. Like, I don't know what your parents taught you, but like, you're a total parasite, man. Like wasting people's time. So let me, let me say something positive. I think this is one of the greatest pivot events in the history of mankind, that the greatest transfer of wealth and power. This is really important. The power part of this is happening right now. And if people just step away from your TV and the newspaper and consider what the heck is happening, look at all the indicators, we have an opportunity here to switch the, you know, switch the paradigm of this power thing of having to win everything by, by war. There's a something really cool going on in bitcoin that is well worth 20 hours to study. It doesn't cost a lot. At least it'll open your mind how the system's working. I am going to be fabulously rich from this. I mean, I'm already fairly well off, but this is going to be stupid rich. This is the kind of rich where. This is why I started getting involved in politics. I think this is the kind of stupid rich where you keep big companies honest. And I have a lot of friends. I'll never sell bitcoin. I will sell every drop of bitcoin I have to help this country and to help us have a possible future for my children. I don't care about a thousand bitcoin, man. Thousand bitcoin in a Mad Max world is not cool. A thousand bitcoin In London. I don't even want to go to London anymore. I mean, I know central London probably better than you do. I don't want to even go there, man. It was one of my most favorite places in the whole world live. I would be scared to go there. So I think this is like. And the cool thing is you don't need a college education for this. Literally, you can make 400, 500 grand a year diving into this industry, and you will in three years. If you stick your head down like I did, I will be one. One of the most core, fundamental players in the crypto industry. If I never leave it, like, they will look at me and go, whoa, that cat was around it. He was a player in this space. And we need thousands of guys, like, tens of thousands of people like me. So we welcome you here with your ignorance, with your knowingness, with your assets or your lack of assets. But it's a very cool industry. And that is coming from a guy that's been in natural gas, power, finance, M and A, two continents. I mean, these are really old oil and gas. So boring. And now this industry. And I don't have an MBA in a monster education. I have a real interest in learning, real curious human being, and I love being around really cool people. And this industry is just full of very awesome, dynamic people. So to me, that's the positive side. I just have to look at some of the dirt, you know, some of the stuff that's on the bottom of the shoe that maybe. Maybe my shoes need a little cleaning. We need to clean them off a little bit. Gives me a different perspective.
Who do you think? In short answer, who do you think was behind the assassination of Donald Trump?
Same people that are behind Biden and Kamala. How's that? You let me know who's running the country, and I'll let you know who did it. And the truth is, we don't know. You don't know either. Dude, the people in the eu, at least you have a few names. The people in the EU can't even give me one name out of the four they're running. You didn't vote for them either. So whoever's running your show now, he's. He ain't running anything. And Harris hadn't run anything her whole life. Biden's an idiot. I suspect it's either Clinton or. Or Obama. And if I had to pick both of them, I'd say it's Clinton, because Clinton's about three times more smarter than you are, Barack. The intelligence isn't in there with the, with the Obama family. So I suspect it's the genius, which is Hillary and Billy. Gangster since the age of 19, man. Total gangsters. I mean, Bonnie and Clyde, dude. And look, I admire, look, I admire their intelligence, guy. Power players, dude. Wouldn't let them in my home. Wouldn't let Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, anyone that works for her, Joe Biden, Obama's or the Clintons, not anyone involved with their family, would be allowed to walk him out. Not a fucking chance. Okay, Donald Trump, bring in the whole family. I do not think my, my kids are going to get accosted, abused, touched, violated by Donald Trump or anyone in his family. And I've been around them all, okay? Those people are not coming in my home. That's the way I voted, okay? That's the way I do business with people. I have been in business with people. I'm like, I'm not doing business with you. I just sold a half a billion dollar business because my partner wanted me to quit saying bad about Visa and she wanted to do stuff in China. I'm like, I, I'm not interested in helping China. We'll make 20 cents more on the dollar. I don't care, dude. Who cares about it? Like, I have ethics and I'm not doing a Visa is a criminal organization. I'm going to call them out. And gary, we spend $12 million a year with them. Sorry, like, you're either going to be true or you're going to lie. There's no, like, we've been, we've been all lying, man. Complicit. You know, it's, it's. Someone said to me once, it's a covert omission. An omission is still a lie. It is still an adverb action that is wrong. You are supporting it. So if you're sitting there looking at, hey, Trump, looks like somebody tried to assassinate him and you're going, hey, that was a BB gun. Or he tried to do it himself. You are complicit. Dude, if you're not talking about this a lot, you're complicit. We should be screaming at the top of our lungs, dude, whoa, hello. Let the guy at least have a chance. Okay, so now you're starting to think maybe those votes were stolen. I never really spent a lot of time on the whole deal. I'm like, okay, Biden's the president now. Let's get. Yes, sir. Four years. That's the way I am, dude. He's the president, United States. I don't care if I didn't vote for him. Sir, what can I do for you, sir? Now he's not. Who is. I don't think we have a president of the United States today. Seriously. Today, August 1st. Who the fuck is the president? United States. Who is it, man? Weird. Just heard from a general in the United States military that said we are getting ready to have massive attacks in the next 72 hours against Israel from Iran. Who's the president? Where's the president? Israel. Kind of a big thing. Okay? Massive attacks. So we either end up in a major nuclear event before November 5th. Biden's probably dead. Kamala brings in one of her clonies or who she's told to bring in. She will probably get sick right after she wins, if she wins. And. And. Or they'll try to shoot Trump or blow him up or blow his plane up before November 2 or another massive cyber attack that goes much broader than CrowdStrike. So we don't have an event. Those are the only five scenarios I can see occurring in the next three to four months. And none of them are good. None of them are good. And I don't think. Hey, I don't think I'm crazy.
No crazy person thinks they're crazy.
Well, happy to have somebody. You know, you can pull up some expert and let's walk through how this is going to play out, but when you really think about it, it's like, oh, this is really bad. This is like catching the kid with his hand in the candy jar after 37 times. And he said, no, no, I didn't do it. And look. But he just, no, I didn't do it. And he goes to his grave, no, no, I didn't do it. I didn't do it. I didn't do it forever. They keep stealing. See, that's what happens. They keep stealing. So you either need to put them in jail or they need to admit they made a mistake. I don't want to go to jail. So I go, okay, look, I made a mistake back in, you know, 2022 or whatever, and I've acknowledged it. I'm not going to repeat it. So if whoever shot Kennedy, and I do mean Kennedy, whoever shot mlk, then whoever shot the Kennedy and then whoever shot at Trump, it's the same cat, dude. It's the same people. And the truth is these. These aren't people. It's. It's a cell, dude. It's a cell, and we just got to get rid of these people.
When you say it's a cell, what is something above the world leaders that's controlling?
Well, I don't know who the world leaders are. No one looks like they're leading anything to me. I mean when I, when you say leader, I think of people like Joe Rogan did a pretty good job. Let's see. I think Elon's pretty good. They give him so much grief, it's unbelievable. Who else is a great leader? Any other great leaders you can like, point my way? Where are all, where are all our great leaders? Is Macron Macron a good leader? I can't even, I don't even know who's leading your thing. They're in such obscurity.
Well, there's been about four or five in the last, not very long. Yeah, no, no, the UK's, it's really.
The whole world's man. We, that's why we have to come together. I mean, I would have thought England would have come to come gotten this pretty quick. You're an island, dude. I mean a little, tiny, tiny island. And for a thousand years you have control the oceans and everything inside of Parliament is stolen and a part of a siege. It will be impossible for you guys to live in this new world as a slave and a servant to the rest of us. Really. It's going to be like. I, I, I, I gotta think at some point the UK really latches on to the usa because I don't see where you're gonna. Piggy in the middle is gonna be messy. Piggy in the middle. You don't hear many Americans using that phrase.
D. No.
Right. So I hope we don't go to war, but I think, I just think we're escalating to a point where it's, they want the bombs going off so we can't notice anything else. I mean, crowdstrike did happen within 12 hours of the attempted assassination event. I know no one thinks this is connected, but I'm like, hey, when was the last time we had such a cyber event? That's very convenient. I'm not sure what the purpose was, but I've got enough military friends that go, don't. There is no coincidences anywhere. And I actually believe that. I believe that a lot. So we'll have another one. I hope we'll be okay. I'm pretty sure my Bitcoin's a good hedge against this insanity. And that's what kind of drives me. They're quite certain I don't want a bunch of money sitting in a bank account I can't grab. Right? That's A little frightening.
Yeah. People seem to just blindly believe these bank guarantees. And if there's some run or war, like their money's going to be safe and it's not all just going to be taken as a government asset. That's naive, surely.
Well, if they realize that the government that you're referring to is completely and.
Utterly broke, insolvent, knowingly trading insolvently and morally corrupt.
Imagine if your neighbor is holding all your money and you know he's a pedophile, you know he's completely broke, he's never created anything productive in his life, and you're going to let him hold your money? Really? Okay. I think the problem is everyone's become apathetic and, and their little mouths, you know, went like this. You're getting right up the ass and your mouth is shut because you're so scared. What are you scared of getting again? Like this is happening over and over. Go ask your children, man. They have shitty jobs. You went to college, had some kids, sent them to college and they have shitty jobs and they can barely make ends meet. It's crazy, man. Okay? In the most intelligent world, the intelligence we have on this planet is more than we've ever had. Energy resources everywhere, and we're throwing kinetic weapons all over the place. So look, I've given all these professional politicians literally my entire lifetime to get it right. They have all failed, man. All failed. Like we should be doing. You know, you go in and run the, the London. Cool, man. You have metrics, okay? And like within two years, if you haven't fixed it, you're out. We're hiring somebody else. Real metrics, right? So it's, it's a train wreck, man. I'm not sure I have the solution to it, but I do have, I think, a couple of avenues to safeguard me and my family. And that's all I can do at this point. And then also communicate about learning and being a better human being.
So, Gary, let's, let's finish with Quick fires. So we'll go disrupt us round the final round. Quick fires, you think we can do.
It in four minutes? Because I have to be somewhere in eight.
Right. In that case, we'll just keep going until you have to hard stop me. And thanks for giving me all this time, by the way. I really appreciate it.
Pleasure.
Okay, so what's the biggest disruption ever happened in your life?
Seven days after buying an $8.6 million house, my wife said, I'm, I'm. I'm. I'm divorcing you. And I'm out of here. I'm not living in this big old house. How's that one for a gift? Let's see, let's see. Here's another one. On a Sunday night in about the same year, I get a phone call from a banker. God, God bless the Gary Cardone that I know that treats everyone really nicely. I've been accused of spending too much time with people that didn't have an immediate impact in my world. It's really funny, but I happen to thank God I spent a few good lunches with this banker on a Sunday night. One Sunday night I get a phone call at 8:30. I don't know how many phone calls you get from a banker on 8:30. A senior vice president. But hey, Gary, just wanted to check, man. Are you aware that your partner's like moving $8 million from bank account and they're trying to set up another bank account without your name on it? I'm like, no, I didn't know that, dude. Like, when did that happen? Oh, we got the phone call for ID and I just saw it and I'm like, huh? That was a phone call that you don't expect to get. Didn't turn out so good for the other side. I got to tell you, having that little relationship, see that taught me, you know, when you can have a hamburger with somebody, probably want to have a hamburger, right? It's. It was a good use of my, my time to have someone that I didn't know exceptionally well, but he noticed. But the real disruption, if I'm really this event with bitcoin, biggest thing I will ever see. I have been waiting for an event like this for 50 years, man. It, it will be. It will require the least amount of work from me and provide the greatest amount of return by a factor of probably 100x. But the amount of work is so important for me, right? Like this is not actually the hardest thing about bitcoin is you buy it and you just don't do anything. Which is really hard for an action figure like me, right? Very, very hard for me not to want to go stupid and do something with it. I mean, you guys had an event in between in 1994 when I got to the United Kingdom talking about disruption and what one or two people can do. I got to the United Kingdom, natural gas prices were 23 pence a decathlon. And when I left, they were eight. In fact, within two years, they were eight. And I told British Gas what I was going to do. Funny, funny. I left 10 years later and they went right back to 36. So if you just need a few players putting tension into a market and keep them honest, it does not require millions of people. Same for this too. I think I will and can help disrupt some of this political bullshit if I don't effectuate a change. At least I tried. Okay, Just people just to be awake. Right. So the, the England had just gotten fat in the energy business. You, a guy named James Alcock was the only that was basically running British Gas. And in order to sell one unit of natural gas into your country, you had to go have dinner with James. And so, and I looked at him first time I had dinner, said, you know sir, awesome job. You've done everything. But no one will ever know whether you were a great gas buyer or a terrible one. And that like shocked him that anybody was speaking. I said dude, you have no competition. You're a one man show. I have to come pay homage to your. This isn't competition. You let me out in the market and see how well you're gonna be buying energy. I'll clock your white haired ass so fast. And I'm not trying to make smile him, he's never competed. Dude, if you don't compete, you just don't compete. Let me loose. I, I've done nothing but ever compete. So these big companies, they're not used to fighting for anything. And so I have an opportunity to let my muscle like you know, actually operate and work. I probably got track on your, on your request.
Oh, don't worry, it's all right. It's all good. You have to go. So just finish on this. Your biggest regret.
Oh, my biggest regret. Man, so many. Actually when I say so many, I don't really have that many regrets. I never look on the past. I have made a lot of mistakes. Do I regret making them? I probably wasted. Do I have a. Am I going to say that's a regret? I probably didn't. I probably didn't. This is a very difficult question for me and the question, because the way I was raised and I mean look, quite frankly, okay, there's like somebody must have intervened in my life and my brother's life because we shouldn't even be here. Neither one of us should be here, much less both, wherever here is. I wish I maybe would have studied more, been more cultured, but I wouldn't have been me. And quite frankly, I've done most everything I've wanted to do in my life the way I wanted to do it. Like I, when I met the guy Barry Galt or whoever, Cedric, whatever his name was at British Gas. I thought that was unbelievable that a man could be 38, take off six, seven, eight years and come back and have the best job in the England. I was like, oh, wow, that's the model I like. I wish. I wished, actually I wished I had somebody, either my dad or my mom to talk to today that I don't have just to be able to like, hey, look, your son met with Trump, Donald Trump. The other. Your son gave a million dollars to Trump. That like, I hung out with him. I could call him my dad for my dad. My dad would be like, dude, that's awesome. My dad would think, hey, that, that's pretty cool. I probably should have done this a long time ago. Had anyone educated me on politics, I should have gone into politics. I would have been really good. But I would have turned into an evil mf. Okay, this is why I can be so harsh on these people. I know myself very well. If you give me unlimited power, I will wield unlimited power against you. If. If I don't like you, I'll hurt you, dude. I don't mean hurt you bad. I'll just block you and stop you and I'll justify it in my mind that you're an. And you're dangerous and I'm a good guy. Guarantee I'd go evil, dude. Guarantee you. So we need checks and balances here. Like, these people should have to have somebody overlooking their. They can't be bought. And that's the problem with the system. They're all on the take. If you say no, you don't get any of this, okay? And this is about just waiting. It's a. It's a job of attrition. Just wait for years to pass by and then you end up being Newt Gingrich or some senior political guy, right? But you didn't do anything to get there. You just survived through this ass sucking, the dick licking, the getting on the knees. I mean, dude, the amount of time, like, I mean, bro, if. If something happened to one of my kids and they go to jail or something, you know, or like a big problem, man, somebody calls me up and I'm President, United States to go, hey, we can make this disappear. I think I might owe somebody a favor. That's how humanity works. And that's where our system is broken down. Everybody's paying back people favors. And you and I weren't even part of any of these discussions. So it's a very complicated time. I think the more we write and communicate. There's windows open right now for everyone to start having a voice. All you guys went too quiet. So I think we need to start communicating to our neighbors, like, talking to each other again, man. They don't want us to talk to each other. That's what Covid was about, dude. I know a friend of mine in England that still hasn't been able to go to his dad's funeral. That's uncool. And they're still giving vaccines out like. Like candy. So we just have to be really, like, if we continue to be quiet, I go get some Vaseline, man. I just think it's going to require a lot of Vaseline packing for us to remain quiet. And I think that's the best way I can end this. Coming from Louisiana.
I. Gary, where should we follow you? Where are you?
Most active spaces, and I do a YouTube thing at Gary Cardone. If you can't find me, you're not supposed to find me. It's pretty easy.
Gary, really appreciate you. I know you gotta go. Thanks so much.
Thank you, buddy. Can't wait to meet you in person.
