Is This the BEST Asset in a Crash?

In this YouTube monologue, the presenter argues that silver may be the top asset to hold during market crashes, comparing its recent performance to Bitcoin, real estate, and gold. He cites a 46% price gain over the past year and a rise from $15 to $42 per ounce over five years, highlighting silver’s strong correlation with fear, inflation, and weak fiat currencies. The video explains industrial demand for silver—especially in batteries, smartphones, and electric vehicles— and discusses the gold‑to‑silver price ratio, noting it has expanded from about 30:1 historically to roughly 70:1 today, suggesting silver is relatively cheaper than gold. He mentions tax benefits such as capital‑gains‑free status for certain coins and possible VAT recovery when purchased through a company. Throughout, he repeatedly disclaims financial advice, states he has no affiliate incentives, and offers a giveaway where viewers guess the current value of a displayed cache of silver coins. The presenter directs viewers to a free, longer video (tiny.cc/silverup) for a deeper analysis of silver’s pros, cons, and investment mechanics.

Is this the best asset in a crash? Is this better than Bitcoin? Is it better than real estate? Is it even better than gold? Because this has performed wildly good in the last year and the last 5 years. So none of this is financial advice, hashtag just saying, but I bought kilos of this, hmm, in the last 12 months or so, and in the last 12 months this has gone up 46%. By the way, if you can guess the exact value of what's in there to today's price, I'll give you at least one of them for fun, and I will show them at the end if you want to, um, try and work it out. I'll give you one guess, but just in the last 12 months, this has gone up 46%. Now Bitcoin's done well as well. I think it's 79%. In the last 12 months, whereas London real estate, um, not in every area, but Mayfair is down nearly 50%. Okay, in the last 3 years, this asset class has gone from $15 an ounce to $42 an ounce, which is a clue of you guessing how much is in here. So it's tripled in the last 5 years since lockdown. Now Now I'm sure you can know what I'm talking about. It's silver. So the thing with silver is it loves fear. Silver and gold love fear, um, and right now there's a lot of fear. Um, silver and gold generally tend to do well when inflation is high, and inflation is on the rise. I, I also spoke to the ex-chancellor of the UK who says that money printing and inflation is pretty much now a strategy you know, of the government. And even though we all kind of knew that, they never admitted it, and now they kind of are. So, um, this loves fear. It loves it when markets are scared. It loves it when other asset classes are crashing. You know, um, professional investors, they buy silver and gold and they hope it never goes up in value, which is kind of weird when you're buying an asset class. But because they own all asset classes When gold and silver are going up, it's usually countercyclical. When there's a weak dollar and a weak pound, gold and silver love it. You know, when there's issues with trust in governments and bonds, silver and gold love it. By the way, keep the guesses coming in. If you can guess the total value of all these silver coins in here to today's price, I'm going to give you one or some of them. Okay, so all of this is going on right now, and it's wild. And I've seen silver soar. And by the way, I'm not saying this— I, I don't own a silver company, I don't have an affiliate commission with anyone who sells silver. I've got no incentive to tell you. In fact, I've got a lot of downside if I'm wrong. So I'm not advising you financially, I just tell you what I do because my mission is to help as many people on the planet get better financial knowledge, and I want to help you. Silver has many benefits, which I'll come to in a moment. But also, I don't know if you know this, but silver is used in batteries, quite a lot of it. So all the new iPhones that are coming out, all the electric cars, they all need silver. So silver is industrially in a lot more demand, and it's used a lot more than gold industrially and functionally. All right, now there's one more thing I'll share with you, and that's the ratio of gold to silver. So some of you might think, oh well, Silver's tripled in value since, um, the last 5 years, from $15 an ounce to $42 an ounce. So it's already gone up. It's the wrong time, but it's still below its 1975 price. And we're coming into recession, maybe depression, as Ray Dalio is calling. Um, but also I like to look at the price of silver compared to gold. So silver, for example, at some points in history has been about 30 times Gold? No, gold has been 30 times silver. Now gold is 70 times silver. So if you want to look at the ratio, gold has grown a lot more than silver. Gold has hit 7 all-time highs in the last 5 years. So you might decide therefore that, you know, one of your reasons for buying silver over gold is the price of silver compared to gold. And right now it's about 70 to 1, uh, 70 times the price gold to silver, and it's been 30. So anyway, these are some things that you can think about. So quick summary of this video, and then I'm going to share some extra content completely free where you can learn more about this. So silver's up from $15 an ounce to $42 an ounce in the last 5 years. I'm going to give away some on this video, and I'm going to show you how much is there in a moment. You get one guess. Okay, it's gone up 46% in the last year. I bought kilos of it in the last 12 months and I've done well. Um, silver loves fear, silver loves it when markets are scared. Um, demand for silver is really high at the moment industrially, and the ratio of silver to gold— gold is 70 times the price of silver, whereas in the past it's been 30 times the price of silver. Okay, so in a moment I'm going to show you— and actually I'll do it now, um, but, um, stay with me because I've got some more content for you on this, right? So let me see if I can It's probably going to fall everywhere knowing me. Yeah, okay, you go over there. I think we're nearly there, right? That is how much silver is there. So you get one guess. What, on today's price, how much is all that silver? and if you're correct, you get one guess, then you can have some of it. I'll DM you, get your details, and send you some for fun. So I'll give you 30 seconds to do that now. Inflation is on the rise. I think that's partly why this is on the rise. Bonds are very cheap right now. I think that's mostly because of lack of trust in dollar and pound, debt deficit for UK and US. Therefore, um, these precious metals, etc., you know, um, are growing a lot. Um, yeah, certain coins are capital gains tax-free. You can claim the VAT back if you buy these in a company, so there's loads of benefits. All right, cool. So if you'd like to, um, have a full-length piece of content on this where I go into all the elements of investing in, um, silver The link is tiny.cc/silverup. S-I-L-V-E-R-U-P. That's tiny.cc/silverup. It's actually on my More Money YouTube channel. It's completely free. And like I said, I don't have any affiliation with, um, you know, promoting you to this. I'm not sending you anywhere to buy it, um, and I'm not getting any commission. I do have a partner for buying gold and silver, but I'm not going to mention that here, just so you know that these aren't my motives. So the link is tiny.cc/silverup, and there I've got a brand new video, a live free, where I talk through all the benefits and some downsides of silver and what's going on in the market right now, in my opinion, and if it's a good investment opportunity. I know some people are going to kick off that they think they got it right, but they didn't. And there's one main reason why most of you here are wrong. Look closely. You might want to go back and watch the video. Look closely. Um, all right, so Um, if you want more information on buying silver and just a thorough analysis of it as an asset class, it's also much easier to get into than most classes because, you know, one of these is not expensive compared to a property or something like that.
