‘Something WORSE Than a Recession’ is Coming ⛔️

Rob Moore breaks down Ray Dalio's warning that record global debt could trigger a depression worse than recession. Gold hit $3,500 an ounce, London property dropped 30-40%, and US budget deficits sit around $1.9 trillion. Moore's strategy: buy distressed real estate at 40-50% discounts and accumulate gold and silver.

Something worse than a recession is coming, according to one of the most successful investors alive today. We're talking multi-billion-dollar hedge fund manager, now in his 70s, expert on cycles. I wonder if you can guess who he is. I'm going to talk you through his thoughts. I'm going to add my thoughts. We're going to look at this, if this is like really the worst thing for humanity, or is there an upside opportunity? What's going to cause it? So according to this investor, let me know if you know who it is, something far worse than a recession is coming. The only thing worse than a recession is a depression, I think. So you've got correction, recession, depression. And of course depressions last years, maybe even a decade. Or worse. And the main reason this expert investor is calling this maybe a depression or the worst recession in history or something even more sinister is because of US, global, UK debt levels. So in the last recession, it was the banking crisis, and banks were just making really bad loans. Ninja loans, no income, no jobs, no asset, no problem. Now usually every recession, depression, or cycle is a different trigger or cause. And I've been trying to figure out, well, what's going to be this one? Now in some areas like up north in the UK, the property market is still growing, but the growth is slowing a lot. But in central London, property prices are down 30, even 40 or more percent. Which tells me that the crash isn't coming, it's already here. And of course then you've got the stock market which feels like almost in a bubble. And gold just hit all-time high again yesterday. Gold's hit an all-time high 6 times in the last 5 years and it just hit $3,500 an ounce. Why is that relevant? Here's why. Usually a big indicator of really high inflation, devaluation of currency, potential recession, depression, or crash— gold being high can be a big indicator because people tend to hoard and buy gold when high inflation and currency debasement. And gold just hit a at an all-time high. So to my critics who think I'm a doom monger, and I've been calling this recession, depression, or crash for many years, I never said I could time when. I do believe it's coming. I do believe it could be the biggest in history. So reason number 1 is you've got these record debt levels. We have record global debt levels, which means that just the interest on the debt is tens or hundreds of billions, which of course means tax revenues have to go up significantly in order for them to be able to pay off their debt, which means, you know, we have lower affordability. But also this really high debt can create high inflation, and high inflation essentially makes the rich richer who have assets, and it makes the poor poorer because they only really have cash money. They don't have much, but the cash money goes down in value. I had a video went viral, millions of views online. Someone stopped me in the street and said, what's the difference between the rich and the poor? And I said, inflation. Because if you hold assets in high inflationary times, your assets are going to go up and you're going to get rich. If you just have savings or money or not much and you just have to buy things in high inflationary times, your money is going to be worth less and you're going to get poor. And that's the reality. And so if this is something even more sinister than a recession, which means it's a depression, probably going to have really high inflation, probably the poor are going to get poorer, and probably the rich are going to get richer. And this is a great opportunity, which I want to share with you in a moment. But the two things, the reason number one we could be into a depression is because of record debt levels across the globe, all-time high debt levels, all-time high gold, which is defensive investors protecting themselves against recessions and depressions. But you also have the budget deficit. So the US is something like $1.9 trillion short in repayment of debt, you know, their deficit in their budget, which means they're gonna have to go and borrow a load more money. Borrowing a load more money is going to create a load more inflation. That debt's going to be passed on to you and your money is going to be worth less. But everyone in the rest of the world's going, well, I don't really think I want the dollar. I don't really like this really high inflation. I think they're a risk. So, you know, China, Japan dumping out dollars. And Ray Dalio is the guy. Ray Dalio is the guy that said this could be something worse than a recession, i.e., a depression. The guy predicted the last 3 crashes. The 2020 COVID crash, he predicted. The 2008 crash, he predicted. So I back him and I trust him. You know, he's an expert in sort of global debt cycles. So possibly the biggest crash in history is coming. Possibly it's going to be worse than a recession, which means it could be a depression. Your pounds and dollars are probably going to go down a lot in value. High inflation, cost of living is going to go up even more, taxes are going to have to go up even more because national debt is going up even more. What does this all mean? This means if you're a normal person living a normal life, you're probably screwed and you don't know how this all works and all you know is you're getting less and less and less money and more and more and more debt. What it means though if you're a contrarian investor, if you observe the masses and do the opposite, if you're greedy when others are fearful and you buy assets, you could get possibly, you could look back and this could be one of the times in history where you became your most wealthy. I am buying properties at 40, 45, and 50% below market value. Properties that were £5 million 5 years ago are now £2.5, £2.7, £3 million. Nothing wrong with them. One property, £21 million, will probably pay £15 million for it. So I'm selling my watches, I'm selling my cars, I just sold my kids, and I am going all in buying as many assets as I can. I bought quite a lot of gold and silver last year. I'll be going back into gold and silver. Did— by the way, this is not investment advice. This is just what I don't— I don't do financial advice. I do financial experience, i.e., what I do, I share. So if then, if this ends up going wrong, you'll see me down KFC licking people's fingers for food. But I can feel it and I can see it with my own eyes. I've got gold and it's going up and up and up. I've got silver and it's going up and up and up. I've got watches and they've gone down and down and down. I'm seeing the kind of real estate I like go down and down and down. So I'm all in and I see this as a huge opportunity. I cashed in in the last recession of 2008 and bought dozens of properties. My only regret is I didn't buy hundreds. Well, actually I did, but I sold quite a lot of them on and didn't keep them myself. So the question to you is, what are you going to do? Are you going to observe the masses and do the opposite, or are you just going to, you know, get drawn into the panic and fear, or even worse, do nothing? Because that's the worst. So, Ray Dalio believes that something far worse and more sinister than a recession is coming, which must mean a depression. He believes that it's the record levels of national debt and the The budget deficit of national debt and how many more trillions. I think he reckons the UK have got— sorry, the US have got to borrow another $8.9 trillion. You know, people are spooked. Do they want to lend money to the US? Are they worried about the dollar, you know, having high inflation? By the way, this is all similar in the UK. UK national debt levels are at record highs. Do people have confidence in the pound? Do people want to lend money to the UK government? We've got massive budget deficits. All this shit is very real right now. By the way, it's fascinating to watch. And I believe, you know, well, I know for a fact that, you know, more of the most successful entrepreneurs and investors on the planet actually built their businesses in recessions and depressions and crashes.
