Labour are Causing the House Price Crash

Rob Moore argues Labour's policies are crashing UK house prices: a 0.54% annual property tax, stamp duty up to 15% on million-pound homes, 15% National Insurance on rental income, and a scheme paying landlords to house asylum seekers. He claims prime London has already fallen 40% and warns institutional investors like BlackRock will profit from the collapse.

Labour, they're causing the house price crash. There's 4 things that I've seen them do in recent months. 2 of them are gonna kill the housing market. London, Kensington, Chelsea, Knightsbridge, already down 40%. Keir Starmer, Rachel Reeves, what are you doing? Wake up! So they're proposing a national property tax, which means everyone who owns a home you'll be charged 0.54% per year just to live in your house. That is a joke. In the UK, the one thing that I think we're renowned for is you can own your own home. Private property rights. Your home is your pension, your future, your security, the cornerstone of your wealth. And now they're coming for it. And 0.54% a year might not sound very much, but that's slicing away your equity and your pension every single year. On a £500,000 house, which isn't a lot in today's money, that's nearly £3,000. On a £1 million house, that's over £5,000 that they're going to take off you every single year. But wait a minute, we already have council tax, and that can be £5,000 a year. We already have all these property taxes, stamp duty, that's the second thing. So number one, they're proposing a national property tax. As far as I'm concerned, they can fuck off with that. And you should share this and you should make sure that everybody knows that Labour need to stop this. Otherwise, it's not just the millionaires and billionaires that are going to leave this country, it's everyone. So the second thing is stamp duty. So stamp duty went up. Now, to be fair, that was the Conservatives. Labour should be reversing it. And stamp duty now on a million-pound house can be £120 grand. It can be up to 15% of the value of your property. So why on earth would you go and buy a house? So do you know what a lot of people now are like, nah, I'm not moving, I'm just staying. And that stamp duty increase probably pushed prices down 10% almost overnight. So stamp duty is increased, national property tax. Then they're proposing to put national insurance onto rental income. So National Insurance is another form of tax. It's a 15% tax on income when you're already charged up to 45% income tax. It's a raid. It's a rape and pillage. It is ridiculous. And look, these go on and on and on. Labour are now putting asylum seekers— they're giving landlords 5 years guaranteed rent and they're chucking a load of asylum seekers into housing, which of course is going to kill all the property prices around and about the area. Now me and other landlords I know, we're pushing out against this. Now here's the sad thing: the tenants, the normal people, you know, the working class, gonna get wiped out. Um, landlords will have to put rent up to pay for all these taxes. So, um, Labour love to come for landlords. Let's make landlords the satanic Antichrist. Let's make them the enemy. Let's push all the taxes up onto them. How do landlords pay for the taxes? They have to put their rent up. The rent, rent is their only income stream. And the margins are getting less and less and less and less for landlords. Ironically, who's solving the housing crisis when the government aren't? Landlords, developers, investors. Who's going to build the 1.5 million homes that Labour say they need? Developers. Investors! And yet they're making enemies of us. So the sad thing is tenants, working people, working class, all that's just going to happen is the rents are going to go up and up and up and up on them. And Labour, in their infinite wisdom, I mean, what are they on? Do you know the top 5 MPs in Labour have never even run a business? I know someone who knows someone who advises Labour for tax policy, and he often comes back and says, you know, this tax rise that you're proposing, it'll probably generate less, not more revenue. And they come and do it anyway. The country is a fricking mess. And here's what'll happen. Landlords and investors will end up cleaning up. The very people that they want to attack will end up buying all the properties cheap. Or Lloyds and BlackRock. People say, oh, it's all by design, Rob. I don't know, I can't say, but I'm sure Lloyds and BlackRock will do all right out of these crashing property prices. I know Lloyds are buying loads in the UK, I know BlackRock are buying loads in the US, maybe then you want to start to become an investor. The only way you can beat the Labour government is to leave this country and go to Dubai, or get so good at being an entrepreneur and getting your tax bill down and learning how to be an investor and cleaning up, buying all these cheap properties. Because who would have thought 8 years ago, 2013, maybe 12 years ago, that London prices would drop. London prices just kept going up and up and up and up and up and up and up. And now the Russian money's gone, the Chinese money's gone, the Arab money has gone. Crime's through the roof. The London mayor is ruining the country. Theft is— petty theft is basically legal. And so all the billionaires are leaving, and so the properties have crashed. And now Kensington and Chelsea Knightsbridge down 40%. What does that mean if you're a contrarian investor? What does that mean if you look to see opportunity? Observe the masses, do the opposite, and go and buy a load of cheap real estate in London and other places that are dropping. I'm not advising that, I'm just saying that that is a great opportunity. This could be the biggest crash in history, and 40% is bigger than the last crash, and it probably hasn't finished. And look, I represent in many ways working people and working class. I know I've made my money, I know I'm self-made, But you know, I was raised by a working-class family and I got myself into debt going through the education system and I was broke and property made me wealthy. I tried to look after my tenants, I tried to keep the rent as low as possible. And if Labour gave me some tax breaks, I would pass that on to, or at least some of that, on to the tenant. Of course I would, so the rents would drop. But every time they push these taxes up, the rents go up. It's a joke, they don't know what they're doing. Anyway, so I recommend you should share this. Share this with everyone. We need to step up. We need to push back on Labour. We bloody voted them in. And I know a lot of people only voted Labour in because they thought, well, anyone's got to be better than Conservatives, but I don't think they are better. And we have to push back on this and we have to say no, because otherwise the Great British Empire, well, it's probably already fallen. So warning, national property tax, they're proposing a 0.54% a year tax. Which on a £500,000 house is £2,500, on a £1 million house is over £5,000, when you've already got similar figures for council tax, stamp duties now up to 15%. They're looking at charging national insurance on rental income, which is a tax. The list goes on. They're putting asylum seekers everywhere, guaranteeing rent for 5 years. You know, like they put them all in the hotels? That was really smart, wasn't it? Anyway, let me know what you think in the comments and please share this message and don't hide. You know, I was a coward when I never talked about this stuff before because I was worried about, you know, me, me, me, me, me. We have to step up and talk about this. So please share this message and remember, observe the masses, do the opposite. Be greedy when others are fearful and fearful when others are greedy. Sad to say, but there is going to be a massive opportunity in the biggest crash in history, and investors maybe like you and certainly like me, we're going to clean up because what other choice do we have?
