You can't avoid sugar. So what you do well, you can avoid it if you make your own food. You can't avoid it if you eat the food in the supermarket. That's true. That's why I've been working diligently to try to get the government to understand that sugar is actually not a food. It's a food additive. And it is not generally recognized as safe. Think of trans fats. Trans fats were in our food supply from 1911. With the advent of crime Frisco until 2013. Finally, the US Health and Human Services, the FDA banned from food because they recognized their toxicity. They used to be generally recognized as safe. Now they're not even allowed in our food supply. It took 100 years to get from one to the other. Trans fats were thought to be food. They were nine calories per gram. But we learned that they were toxic. Turns out added sugar is 4 calories per gram. But it also does not belong in our food supply and it is also toxic.
