Stop, like, basically blaming everyone else, and the only person you have to think about is you. You hear it? It's you. Stop, stop. Okay, just get to work. Get to work. Stop watching.
Hey, what's up, man?
How are you? Ready? Yes. What took you so long?
I've been here for 2 hours.
If your website is not generating leads for you and converting people from visitors to clients, your website's not working for you. The first thing you're gonna do is, in one sentence, explain exactly how you help them. It has to be very simple. You know, we cut grass, we build softwares. You don't have to go crazy over it because people understand simple things. The second thing I would add on is you need to have a chat box on your site because people need to communicate back And that chat box on the site is pretty much a way to book an appointment with the client. And the last thing I'll talk about is testimonials. People, people, when they trust you, they're more likely to do business with you versus just liking you and watching what you do. They talk about themselves. And what's the problem when you talk about themselves? The client, yes, want to know about you, but what's more important than you is how you're going to help them. So they might like this thing, they might read it, but there's no trust yet. And how could you provide trust on a website? You need testimonials. You need the language of the client speaking, saying, "Thank you, Idea to Life, for building us the software or writing us this algorithm or this AI, artificial intelligence, that helped us increase our profitability, and it was awesome working with you." And if I read that somewhere here, what's happening with that person reading it is trust. And the second thing, once your site is all kind of like whitish, You need this one button that stands out in a different color. And I would make that button here, like for instance, get in touch with us for a quote. The website should be simple. It should bring trust and it should be able to communicate back to those who are visiting it in case they have questions and they want to go deeper and book an appointment.
Hello?
Hey.
Hello, who is this?
This is Roy from Digital Raven.
Oh, hi Roy.
How are you?
Yes, I'm good. I've been waiting for an update from you.
So—
How's it going, man?
It's great.
What do you got for me today?
So here's what's going on. We, our team, reviewed the website and what's going on, the first thing we have to fix is your language, the language on the initial language when you first open up the site, that one sentence. I don't want to keep you too long. I'm not going to keep you too long. That's awesome. That's the initial feedback.
Yes. Perfect. Thank you. I appreciate what you're doing for us.
No problem. Talk to you soon. I'm not going to rock a bye-bye. So last night, last night I was at this gala that I was volunteering at, and here's how I think about when I walk into a gala strategically to turn every gala to a business opportunity. As soon as I walked in, I picked up the program. Once you pick up the program, you could figure out who donated what for the gala and what amount. And those could be potentially great target, target clients for you if you want to go after business. So you figure out who those people are and go to those tables and then pick up conversation with them because you have a common interest. You're in the same gala together, and that could be a good way to talk about something. Once you get their business card, afterward you do, you do your research, you figure out where they're trying to go and figure out how your business or your service can help them get there. The 3 things: pick up the program, go talk to them, and follow up afterward. So here's another example what drives me crazy about people like basically spending so much money, so much money on the product and not building the amplification, which is the marketing, which is talking about it, which is the conversation, which is the advertising. Here's an example. That's the product we work on. And I work on these campaigns and we have 9.38% conversion rate. What does that mean? It means for every dollar we're spending, we're getting $6 back. Do you understand what I'm saying? $6 back. So if you give me a dollar, I'll put it in the ads, it's gonna get you $6 back because you have this online product that's basically— you're making money while you're sleeping. Sunday, I'm hustling, and we're putting this video to help you hustle. You know what I'm talking about? Hustle. Like, it's simple. All right, you gotta know, guess who I met last week? I met the father, the father of the internet, Vint Cerf. And you know what's fascinating to me? That he wrote the code that's changing our lives. Pretty much what he wrote right now, everyone is using. And what he told me in this conference is it's our responsibility to crack the code on what? On unemployment. Because there's a big gap between those who are getting educated and the job market, what it needs. And there's a disconnect here, and it's up to us to figure out how to solve it. So it's you and I, we got to figure out how to do something to pretty much map what you're learning to the job market. So there's this gap to take off this gap away and fix this problem. What do you have here? Oh, I love pizza. Did you make it? No? Okay, no thank you.
Just kidding.
Hey, let's try it. Ready? Good job working. Are you working on Sunday? Good job. We're working too. That's awesome. If you think Sunday is fun day, you're wrong. You're losing, my friend. You're wasting opportunity and time that you could be doing something useful for you, helping you get Somewhere. Get it?
