So now that you're presentable to the Twitter world, let's ensure that users find you in search engine results as well. That way, your Twitter handle and your Twitter updates are assisting your entire marketing strategy that will help your business rank in the search engines depending on the keywords people use. So it's time to rumble, Twitter SEO! While you want your website to be the first hit, why don't you also allow your Twitter posts to have a few links? That way, when it comes to the SEO, it's okay to be greedy. So you don't just only aim for the number one spot aim for as many as you can get. So here are the 6 steps on how you can get many spots with SEO using Twitter. 1. Spam-free. Make your Twitter handles spam-free. Now, how do you do that? You don't attach numbers to your name because when Google scans links on Twitter, it often disregards such usernames because it does— it can't differentiate between who is real and who isn't. So always choose a unique and professional username. 2. Keywords bio. Now include your keywords of whatever business you are into in your bio. Now keep in mind that search engines often display your Twitter bio in the links description on the results page, so you need to make your bio attention-grabbing. 3. Reach. Build your reach. Now this may sound like a no-brainer, but gaining a following with high-quality followers is important for SEO purposes. So you need to get more authority, more quality followers. 4. Keywords subsets. Now create a special subset of keywords. Um, while your business— I mean, you have a set of keywords that you try to rank for. Now those keywords may not really translate successfully because some of them might be a little bit lengthy. So what you need to do is you analyze your keywords and then you pick a smaller subset of keywords, especially for Twitter. So these keywords, this subset, you use these phrases throughout your tweets every day, and this would boost your rankings on Twitter. And 5, you keep your tweet length in the retweet safe zone to ensure you are SEO ready. And so that sometimes when your tweets are retweeted by users, they tend to delete your keywords. So when you have your tweets, the length short, it helps with your rankings. And the sixth one is to— is inbound links. You create your own email links, make sure your content is remarkable enough for influencers to retweet, and you post updates that appeal to influencers that when they retweet it, it boosts your rankings.
