99% of chiropractors say they need more new patients, but the real problem is usually retention and losing patients to competitors. Before spending on lead generation, fix your patient churn and become the recognized local authority in your area.
We talked to hundreds of chiropractors. Typically the first question that we ask them is like, what's your biggest pain point? I would say initially their answer 99% of the time is new patients. I don't have enough new patients.
I think oftentimes is that there's often a bigger issue underneath the layer that we completely forget about is understanding, is it really a new patient issue? Or maybe is it that just the patients that you're seeing are just like dripping out and avoiding, or actually worse yet, going to your competitors? What does your retention look look like? What does your churn rate look like? Like, where are these people going? So it's like, there's more to this equation than just like the new patient game. There's also retention game.
I think there are a lot of docs out there that may think that they're doing well from a Google and SEO standpoint because they have a lot of Google reviews, or they had somebody design a really pretty website, or something like that. What allows you to become that local authority and really capture the demand of the search-based traffic in your area?
