This is a podcast episode titled with a URL link from January 10, 2025, featuring Rylee Meek, Christian Edwards, and guest Joe Sharaldo, a retired New York City fireman. The discussion centers around the recent California wildfires, exploring causes such as mismanagement, environmental policies, and potential conspiracies, while also touching on social and political issues including DEI initiatives in fire departments and leadership failures. The conversation includes personal anecdotes, biblical reflections, and critiques of government and community responses to the disaster.
All right, all right, all right. Welcome back everybody to the King's council live. You got myself, Riley Meek and Christian Edwards where we have unfiltered conversations on current events. We do this from a kingdom perspective. And on today's show, California, it's burning down, baby. Man. Is this the wrath of God or is this just complete incompetence? We're going to talk, talk about that. Joining us today we have a 22 year New York City fireman. He's going to hop on to discuss that with us all show long. It's going be incredible. Also, I don't know if you heard, but Facebook is no longer su. Suppressing free speech even though they promised they they didn't do this before. Right. And we got an incredible inter interview with Wesley Huff that he had on Joe Rogan. We got a lot to discuss today. Christian, how are you brother?
Great, man, Always good to be on with you. I'm excited to have our boy Joe on the show with us today. And I, I figure you might say something about me still having a tree behind me two weeks into January. However, we got 3, 4 inches of snow down here in Dallas last night. So it's finally begin starting to look a lot like Chris Christmas. And I figured I'll keep the tree up at least until it's 50 degrees tomorrow and all of it melts.
Yeah, it's wild, man. Dallas getting some snow, dude.
Yeah, yeah, it's cold, it's icy, but I love it. I mean everything shuts down. Everything shuts down, literally like banks, stores, restaurants, everything. You would think this was like the apocalypse down here. It is in people's minds. But I mean, I, I drove my wife to work today. She's okay. The roads were fine basically.
And yeah, everything, the gentleman, the gentleman that you are, man, I wasn't going to mention the tree because ours is still up too, but that's on my to do list today, brother. Let us know in the chat. Anybody else got their tree up yet? It's been like down yet. Yeah, yeah, down yet. Most people should have it down. I'm more curious if they got it up because if you got it up, then welcome to the club. But we, we got, we got a lot to dive into, man. I want to chit chat with you because I feel like we haven't. You and I haven't even got to connect a whole lot this week. I'm a little tanner than Christian if people haven't noticed. I spent a few days down in Florida, which is amazing. Got to go to the Bucs Bucks Saints game, which I saw Mike Evans make his three and a half million dollar bonus on that. Did you see that, bro?
Yeah, yeah, that, that was wild.
Yeah, yeah.
At the end of the game that, that, I mean, it was kind of lame how, how they got it for him, but I'm glad they did, you know, because to who, who cares? Like, I think all the players are on the same page. Like let's, let's get these bonuses because it's these billionaire owners who are paying them off.
The owner might care. The owner might care a little bit, but it'll be best case scenario for him. He's like, man, he got right there and then just didn't get it. But yeah, Know what I heard about, he's happ.
Jerry Jones though. So Cooper Rush has been the backup quarterback all year since Dak got hurt and he had in his contract he only makes $250,000 as a backup quarterback, but he would make an additional half a million if he took 55% of the team snaps this season. If he had played the last game of the season, he would have made that. He got benched and they put in the third string quarterback so Jerry Jones wouldn't have to fork up a half a million dollars to this backup.
And that's crazy. Jerry Fashion, baby. Typical Jerry Fashion.
Right?
Can't stand the Cowboys.
Right? Right. Being from Dallas, dude, it's big, big, big football weekend. We're not, we're not a sports talk show as much as we want to be, but it is a big, big football weekend. My packers played the Eagles on Sunday. My wife's a Steelers fan, so they got a game tomorrow. It's gonna be, gonna be a fun weekend here in the meek house.
Okay, so. Yeah, well, I'm not from Dallas, remember, I live in Dallas now. Yeah, I'm from New Jersey. And I mean speaking of New Jersey and the great northeastern part of the United States, we got to get Joe up here. Let's get him on the show immediately. Let's bless the audience.
Yes. And, and for those that, that don't know. So Joe Sharaldo has been a great buddy here within the King's council, entire community. Most of our people that have come through our coaching programs know Joe. As I mentioned, he is a 22 year retired now fireman. He was a lieutenant. The dude was even like boxing Golden Gloves winner. And I don't know if you knew this Christian, but I don't even think he's told people this. He was like, Mr. February of the fireman's calendar. I don't remember. What year was that, Joe? Where you. Where you hit Mr. February, man. Bring him on the show, Royce.
What an introduction.
So it was actually missed in July 2012, I believe I was.
And you're probably. You're probably in better shape now, though, right, in 2012.
I'm always in. I'm always in shape.
Always, always, always keeping it tight. Keeping it tight. Kind of like you got your shirt pin. Pin backed like the news anchor had on this this last week, right?
Coaching. It's just the coaching I've learned from.
The King's Council Y. Oh, man. Well, it's a pleasure to have you on, dude. And. And again, lots of experience with fires, and we've got a lot to. To talk about this because there is some crazy stuff going on in California, and I've seen some things online like, is this the wrath of God? Is this just, as I mentioned, an opening, complete incompetence? Which we're going to dive into all of that on today's episode, and we'd love to have your perspective on it as well, Joe. So thanks for being on, brother.
Thanks. Thanks for having me.
Yes.
So let's dive in. Christian, what do we got today to talk about? Because this has been. It's not like this is new. I mean, the fires are recently new.
Right.
But it's not like they didn't know about this or hadn't even been talking about this for freaking years. Am I right on this?
Yeah. Well, California is no stranger to wildfires by any means, but it's a little different now. The neighborhoods, like all these rich neighborhoods that are actually catching on fire here. And before we get into this, I just want to say to everybody, our hearts go out to everybody who's affected by this, whether there's somebody who knows God, doesn't know God, whoever it is, all of humanity who's affected by this, and not just the fires, but there's still people in North Carolina who are still dealing with the aftermath of the hurricane from a few months ago. So our hearts go out to everybody. Our prayers are lifted up for you guys. But I think it's an interesting conversation to have because there's plenty of examples in scripture where God uses natural disasters to display judgment, to impose his wrath. And we're going to talk about. Is this an example of that? But I think we should start with a clip from Joe Rogan, because back in July, he was talking on his podcast and he mentioned part of why he moved out of la was after talking to an LA fireman. Play that, Royce.
I talked to a fireman once. This is one of the reasons it freaked me out. And he was telling me, he goes, dude, one day, he goes, it's just going to be the right wind and fire is going to start in the right place and it's going to burn through LA all the way to the ocean, and there's not a thing we can do about it. I go, really? He goes, yeah, we're just, we just get lucky. He goes, we get lucky with the wind. She goes, but if the wind hits the wrong way, it's just going to burn straight through la and there's not going to be a thing we could do about it. Because these fires are so big, dude, when they're talking about like thousands of acres that are burning simultaneously with like 40 mile an hour winds, and the wind's just blowing embers through the air, and those embers are landing on roofs and those houses are going up and they're landing on bushes, and those bushes are going up and everything's dry. And once it happens, it happens in a way where it's so spread out that there's nothing they can do. There's nothing.
You just have to evacuate, Right? Nothing.
Nothing they can do. I talked to a.
It's wild.
Yeah. So usually we don't play any curse words, Joe, but since we had a New Yorker on the show, we figured we'd let that one slide.
And I totally appreciate that. And it's funny because that video was on my birthday, July 19th, so it all, it all fits.
Oh, there we go. There we go. So Joe Rogan, he knew. Well, I mean, there's plenty of scary reasons to be living in California with earthquakes, wildfires, the governor, they have, the liberals, they have there for certain. But I thought this was a bit prophetic here by Joe Rogan speaking about this fire.
Yeah, absolutely, Joe. I mean, knowing the fire, I mean, I, I don't know where it actually started from. Maybe you know this, but the, the speed at which this thing is, is actually traveling. Is, Is that normal? Is that natural? I mean, what, what's your perspective on that, man?
Yeah, so as far as, like where it exactly started, some people are saying power lines. Although, you know, there's a. You know, listen, one thing I've known, especially after a fire, you have to wait for the marshals come in and really take a good look at everything. But. Yeah, no, I'm telling you, when. So one of the biggest things, when you're fighting a Fire. One of the biggest worries, especially, again, it's wind. Wind conditions. Wind conditions. Wind conditions, right? That was a very big thing, especially if you work in, in Manhattan, right, Because you have like a lot of these high rises. And though this may be different from like, wild wildlife fires and brush fires at those upper floors, it's a huge difference between the wind, okay? It's. If you can picture like a blowtorch, pretty much that's exactly what's happening, right? So there's a thing called the, the fire triangle, right? So it's heat, fuel and oxygen. Okay? Now you need one. You need all of those in order to, to start a fire. Okay. What's happening right now is you have the fuel, right? All of that brush, okay. You have that heat, right? Which is whatever caused that. Okay. And now you have that oxygen, which is the wind, right? And once that wind starts blowing, man, it goes and it doesn't stop. And the reason why it's so hard, because it's so unpredictable. You can't. Like, just when you think you're gonna get ahead of it, the wind shifts, right?
Yes.
Things like, like let's look about manpower or people power, whatever you want to say, Riley, you have to do things like that, okay. Where you. How are you going to dispatch these people to go ahead and dig trenches and protect the surrounding properties, right? So just like, if you literally think about it, it's like if someone was blowtorching something, okay? So not only do you have to worry about what it is that, that it's being hit, but it also radiates back, right? And so that next property. Okay, now, oh, my gosh, what helps that? Water. Oh, wait, we don't have water in the hydrants.
Right?
Right.
Yes. And, and even on that, And I see, Steph793, you're commenting a bunch there in the chat, which is. Is dead on, because I remember, I don't know if it was. It was Trump on the Rogan podcast or what that, what it was on where he was talking about just all of the debris on the, the forest floor, essentially, that needs to be cleaned up. Right? And there's a reason, like environmentally that they wanted to. To leave it down there, but his, his whole warning on that was just like, this has to like, you have to clean this up because this is a complete destruction waiting to happen. And you know, I'm to be clear, I do not think this is the wrath of God taking place here. We're going to dive into some, some biblical examples of that actually taking place. But this is complete incompetence with running a state, specifically in not doing the things to protect your people. Right. The, the. You mentioned the water. It's like the fact that there is not any water. And I think that's what this clip right here is in Trump. And I think this is Rogan also him talking about just like why there is no water here. Let's play this and then talk about this.
They said, we have no water. I said, do you have a drought? No, we don't have a drought. I said, why didn't you have no water? Because the water isn't allowed to flow down. It's got a natural flow from Canada all the way up north, more water than they could ever use. And in order to protect a tiny little fish, the water up north gets routed into the Pacific Ocean. Millions and millions of gallons of water gets poured into. I could have water for all of that land. Water for your forests. You know, your forests are dry as a bone.
Yeah.
Okay. Dangerous that water could be routed. You know, you could have everything. Not only dangerous, billions of dollars a year they spend on forest fires. And you know, there's a case with the environment, they're not allowed to rake their forests because you're not allowed to touch it. And all they have to do is clean their forest, meaning rake it up, get rid of the leaves, get rid of, you know, leaves that are sitting there for five years and we'll certainly.
Get rid of the dead fall and.
Get rid of the trees that have fallen, you know.
Yeah, he had both topics there.
Right. And State Farm that everybody's reporting this now. Just this past year, they canceled the homeowners policy for 69% of the homes in the Palisades. That one of this, one of these areas that's affected right now. And the reason is because everybody wants to blame the insurance companies. However they're blaming. No, it's the state of California. They decided to save money for the state by not removing the brush. And what if you're an insurance company? What are you going to do? You know, there's a threat now for wildfire. So I don't necessarily blame them, although a lot of people want to demonize insurance companies and for good reason a lot of times. But this is the state and this talks, this speaks to the mismanagement from top down. There's mismanagement all over the place. And something like this could be seen coming a mile away as Donald Trump obviously spoke about this couple months ago.
Yeah, yeah, that's wild. A couple Months ago. And, you know, so it's not like this was like we knew this was going to happen. Right. It's unfortunate. And I don't. I'm with you, Christian. Like, insurance companies are in business to do one thing, make money. That's. I mean, they, they're no different than a business, than we own. Right. It's like we're in business to make money. And if they see a threat, they're going to, they're just, they couldn't even possibly pay out the amount because the only way they make money is by collecting more monthly premiums than they pay out. They have actuaries in place that they know exactly what they can pay for, what they can't pay for. And when they're over leveraged, they've got to cancel those type of, types of things. And so all of this boils down or it follows all the way back to head of leadership, as we talked about here, and just not putting their communities in, in the proper positions that need be. Right. It's, it's completely moronic, if we can call it that.
Yeah. It's evil, I think, too. I don't think it's just moronic. I think it's evil what they're doing. Think about these environmentalists. They, they'd rather save some rare fish or they don't want to disturb the grasshopper that's in this brush. Right. So we can't, we can't do anything about that. But we could allow tens of thousands of people to lose everything. And there's been lots of loss of life already from this. So it's just moronic. But also, I think evil is certainly at play. And just yesterday, Joe Rogan had Mel Gibson on his podcast, and Mel Gibson was in Austin doing the podcast while his house in Malibu was burning to the ground. And Royce, if you have that clip, it just speaks more to the mismanagement and California and Los Angeles.
Yeah. We were just talking about the wildfire situation and how crazy it is that they spent $24 billion last year on the homeless.
Yeah.
And what do they spend on preventing these wildfires?
Zero.
Zip.
Zip.
And in 2019, I think Newsom said, you know, I'm going to take care of the forest and maintain the forest and do all that kind of stuff. He didn't do anything.
Didn't do anything. And then on top of that, they cut the water off.
Yeah, that's right.
Yeah.
It's all funny. And then I think all our tax dollars probably went for Gavin's hair gel. I don't know, but it's like, you know, it's sad. It's like the place is just on fire.
Well, the whole state is just so poorly managed.
It's so.
It's so frustrating and confusing. And then he gets on TV and pretends like everything's great and California is the best. We have the best state. We have the most amazing economy. And like. You're out of your mind, dude. You just ruined the state. Personally ruined it.
Well, it's the same team that was up in San Francisco and then we came down to LA and they're doing what they did in San Francisco. And yeah, San Francisco is kind of like apocalyptic now, you know? Yeah, I went there and it's just like people, you know, homeless, you know, it's just, it's a mess.
It's just unbelievable that society can crumble that quickly. It really is unbelievable.
It doesn't take long.
No.
Yeah, I read a book once by Jared.
It's good. It's again, just prime example of just poor leadership. I mean, that's what a lot of it boils down to. Mel's losing his house in Malibu. People can think, oh, poor Mel. But at the end of the day, it's his, it's his, it's property, right? He worked his butt off to get that and he shouldn't have to be. You know, we live in this, in this country for a reason and it's. We get what we vote into policy, right? Like, it's like we're dealing with those ramifications right now. And that's what we get to learn from, right? Joe, what's your take on this, brother? You're too quiet. You're too quiet for us, man.
Well, yeah, so, yeah, I have a lot, a lot of ideas, a lot of thoughts. Just think about, like, what people really don't, like, acknowledges. What about the morale of the fight, the local fire departments, right? Think about it. You need help. Your state, your governor is not helping you guys out, okay? He's not providing you with the equipment you need. He's not providing you with a chance to get water, okay?
He's broke, bro. He's broke. He gave it all away.
Yeah, it's just crazy. So, so now, no, like, you want to throw that in, then let's throw in the whole DEI thing, which is a whole nother topic for itself, okay? So what you're doing is you're really destroying the, the, the people that can help you, you know what I mean? And like something like, I can't really stress on how important having water and a hydrant is. Okay? Not only, like, not only does it help with fighting the fire itself, but like we talked about with the surrounding properties and the surrounding properties from there. And then after the fire's out, you still got to do a wash down. So you need more, you need tons and tons of fire. And yeah, it's just, it's just a shame. And my just heart goes out to all, you know, the brothers and sisters out there fighting fires and you know, if you ever see something so devastating like in front of you and you just, your memories, your, your whole life, your life savings, it's all gone. And to think this could have been prevented, you know, could have been prevented.
But also, you know, I've seen clips of other people starting fires, right? Have you guys seen this? Like there's, there's idiots that are starting fires. I mean, who knows, maybe they're paid by George Soros or something along those lines, as we've seen with other crazy crap that's gone on with these, you know, riots and things in the past. But like, what do, do you think there's something else going on here? And I'm curious even in the chat with you guys, what else? Do you think this is just like, oh, it was a natural disaster that because of the incompetence has now just is overtaking a lot of like the Palisades and heading down towards LA now, Or is there something else behind this? Is this another potential Hawaii situation where it's like, man, how do all those homes except Oprah's get burnt down? Right? Is this a land grab? I don't know. I started to question that a little bit. Like what, what else could possibly be going on here? Because whatever they tell you most likely isn't the truth, right? And, and at the end of the day, we're going into T minus 10 days. Can I get a praise the Lord for some new leadership that, you know, they're, they're setting the stage for him to take over a complete mess and California is bankrupt, bankrupt. So who do you think they're going to be calling upon? It is the federal government. Government. Right. And so there, there's, so I think there's different levels or different layers that we have to consider here of like, was this a natural disaster? What in it? And now that it's gotten completely out of control, like, is there other things, are there some, some more evilness, wickedness actually going on behind the scenes, what's your guys's take on that?
Even if it is natural. Even if it is, they should have had been prepared. So whether it was, you know, nefarious acts, whether it was an act of God. Air quotes, you know, the governor failed them. People lost their lives. Okay, who's. Now how. How do we push forward now? Right? And to your. To your point, Riley, they're talking about these whole 15 minute cities, and that was supposed to be scheduled for that area. You know what I mean? I'm not one don't want to go down that conspiracy theory hole. However, What's.
What's a 15 minute city, bro? Fill me in.
Oh, so they're trying to pop them up all over. Like, also in Hawaii, where it's. It's pretty much like a utopia of where you don't need. You don't need to leave. They have everything, all your amenities. You can raise your family. They're gonna have gardens, like, just everything. So they want to keep you, but it's gonna be like a renter's paradise. Okay.
It's like Truman Show. Yeah, it's like dfw, bro. You don't have to drive it further than five minutes to get to, like, a target. Like, every five miles, there's a target there.
Right?
But, yeah, the Olympics are going to be in Los Angeles in 2028, I believe. And that's one of the theories that I heard. And. And they've been touting this, that they're trying to create a smart city prior to the Olympics. So how can you create a smart city when there's already an established city there? Well, if you wipe out the city and start from scratch, then by all means you could do so. So. But back to the mismanagement that the mayor, Karen Bass, you know, there's reports that are being disputed, of course, that she cut $17 million of funding from the fire department. However, what's not disputed is where she allocated a lot of money to. That's supposedly from the 17 million. $100,000 for the Midnight Stroll Transgender Cafe. $100,000 for the national association for the Advancement of Colored People. Naacp. I like. I like that one. Go naacp. I got a black family, so I shouldn't read that one. Just kidding, guys. 8,600 to the one institute of international Gay and Lesbian Archives. Money to the towards the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Heritage Month program. So all this money is going there. And with dei, I mean, we have this woman running the. The city, right? Not to say that a woman can't run a city, but let's get the best qualified people, whether they're man, woman, black, white, Chinese, whatever, Puerto Rican, Mexican, whatever they are. Let's get the best people involved. And when you look at who's actually running the fire department in Los Angeles, this is, I mean, you're bound to have catastrophe. I think we got a picture of these three women, these three lesbian women. And again, not. They're not dysfunctional because they're lesbians by any means, but 100% they got the jobs because they're lesbian women. Right? This is dei. California is the hub. That's where all this DEI crap started. So we have the chief and two assistant chiefs, but this woman in the middle. Right? And part of the strategic planning for the LAFD is to. Is dei. And, and like, why is that even an initiative within a fire department? Right, and why is like community outreach within, like through the fire department for, for LGBQ T stuff? Why. Why is that even a thing? Well, best believe it's going to be a thing if these are the leaders of your fire department. But Roy, show the clip of that middle woman right there. Her name is Karen, not Karen.
Of course it is.
Whatever the heck her name is. Right? But she's getting paid 400 grand a year. And yeah, Christine Larson. They're all named Kristen or Christine. All these three chiefs.
It's like the old episode of It's. It's Pat.
Right, but, but play this. And look at their salary. Salaries are through the roof. But play that video.
California, bro. That. That's poverty out there, bro.
Right, Good point, good point. But play this video. I can't believe. This is a real video published by the fire department of Los Angeles. And this is one of the. The chiefs. Play. This is ridiculous. You want to see somebody that responds to your house, your emergency, whether it's a medical call or a fire call that looks like you, it gives that person a little bit more ease knowing that somebody might understand their situation better.
Is she strong enough to do this or.
You couldn't carry my husband out of a fire. Which my response is he got himself in the wrong place if I have.
To carry him out of a fryer.
Can you believe that? So, so she's victim shaming fire victims. Say, oh, you're in the wrong place. If I have to carry out a fire, you're in the wrong place. Joe, please speak to that as somebody who is a 22 year vet and somebody who has led that, who, who is taught at the, at the fire academy in New York City.
Also, Joe, you have a story. I don't know if you're legally able to say this on air, but don't you have a story about, like, a specific incident of going into a home and they were going by, like, pronouns.
And things like that?
Oh, yeah, you know, yeah, I'm retired. I think I should be good. So first, let's just jump on what she just said. Pretty much just insulting everyone that's ever been in a fire, right?
Let's just also, like, if you. If my house is on fire, I'm not like, well, you don't look like me. You can't. You can't.
Like, what?
All right, so.
All right, now listen. I totally understand that, and I get the fact that people want to recruit or get people who want to represent the community they're in, right? So we have Chinatown down here. You know, I worked. I worked in Harlem, you know, so, you know, you want to get. You want to outreach to, like, more of the people from the neighborhood and saying, hey, listen, you too can do this and help your company and help. You're not your company, your community. Which is great, right? Because then it inspires other people. However, when you're grabbing people and you're dragging them to the test and you're lowering the standards, okay, that just devalues them, right? And then they didn't earn it. And when you don't earn something, you're not going to want to really, you're not going to care about it, right? So then to them, it's just a paycheck, right? So due to the fact once you come in through those red doors, right in the firehouse, I don't care what color you are, I don't care what you have between your legs or not. I don't care what you did. Did you go through the academy? Okay. Did you pass the academy with a good score? Right? We were. I don't. I can't curse, you know? You know, you know, anyway, did you do the right thing? Did people need to bail you out? Or are you someone that could bail us out? Right? Because at the end of the day, no one cares when. When Ish hits the fan. I'm not looking back and saying, oh, well, you have dreadlocks, bro. You can't. You can't help me. No. Like, hey, like, come help. Like, let's go. Like, no one cares. All that thing gets thrown out the window. So for her to say something as stupid as that, you know, and I'll tell you right now, I know we're not supposed to judge as Christians, but I'm judging. There's no way that that woman could go to any place, high rise in Manhattan and call on 20 flights and drag somebody out. We would have to drag her out right now.
That's right.
She becomes a liability.
Well, they hired her in case there was a fire victim who was fat. So they said we had to get a black lesbian fat person in here.
I'm sure they look like me.
Yeah. And just. And just to like, touch real quick on, like, Riley's story, you know, I responded to a medical call one day and there was blood everywhere, Like a trail of blood leading into the building. We get to the apartment, and so it was an apartment, kind of like a. Like a brownstone apartment, where there was like a room in front and then there was a hallway and then multiple rooms. So there was a guy who. Young kid, you know, it was definitely a homosexual kid. And he was just like, all like, just covered in blood on his T shirt, was acting kind of strange, right? And he's just like, just go that way, go that way. So we walked past and we seen this kid in the bathroom sitting on a toilet, just covered with blood, like, just. And he's like, no, it wasn't me. I didn't do anything. I'm like, okay, just relax. What's your name? And we're going through this whole process and couldn't get anything out of him. Okay? Then it finally says his name. I'm like, okay. And then I go back and I'm like, this name doesn't sound right. It doesn't sound like a name. So there are two roommates in there, these two young girls, okay? And they're like, oh, no, no, no. He goes by whatever. No, he. He's not a he. He's a them. I said, what? He's like, no, no, that. No, they're a they or them. I go, listen, honey, like, do me a favor. Shut up. I don't care. I don't care. What, what is his name? What happened to him? Okay? Because right now. Because when I spoke to him, I said, hey. I'm like, hey, hey, hey, buddy, you know, how are you doing? And he responded to me, so please don't play me these. These. These stupid little games. And they were just like, right afterwards, I had to break it down to them. I go, you have to understand this, okay? If I'm coming into an emergency response, okay? And you're saying, they're in there, they're in there, they're in there. And me and my guys and we go in looking for they, which is multiple people and it's not okay. And someone like one of my teammate. Teammates die, that's on you. And they're like, oh, my gosh, I'm so sorry. I didn't realize. But it just goes. Riley, to, to show the, the brainwashing that's happening. Okay. And it's, it's just, it's just. And, and when the ranks are doing that, it trickles down. Right. Because now firemen. Right. Or fire people are going to start thinking like that, too.
Yeah.
Okay.
Yes. Yeah. I mean, I feel like we could go on and on, but again, 10 more days, baby, and we're gonna get things back to normal here. They're already on, on, on pace. But it's, it's just, it's just wild what all the DEI hiring and things along those lines. It's just, it's a, especially in California. It's a clown show out there, unfortunately.
Yeah, go ahead.
I was gonna say, why do they not have water in the. The hydrants specifically? Like, there's just not enough water. There's not enough water supply out there to actually put out a fire. Totally preventable. Am I. Am I correct on that?
Well, yeah, yeah. So there's, there's, you know, there's a lot of excuses going on to like, why there's not that they ran out and the reservoirs were already depleted and kind of like what I believe what Trump. President Trump was saying was that we need to reroute this stuff so we can fill multiple reservoirs. Because when this does happen, because it's going to happen, we need to be prepared. And this just goes back to what Christian was alluding to later, I mean, earlier about just trying to save this one little fish. You know, like, let's reroute all of this stuff. Basically, it just comes down to incompetence, you know, and liberal policies that have just. And it's just sad. It's really sad. Hopefully, you know, the, the people of California will change their mind and start voting differently, you know.
Yeah, well, the, the timing of this is kind of. Kind of crazy considering just a day before the first fire started was a Golden Globes award. And we're. We're talking about the wrath of God.
Is.
It's the wrath of God. Obviously, we've been talking about the incompetency of leadership from governor down to mayor to fire chief. However, is this something that God perhaps allowed? Because ultimately, God has used stuff like this in the past to get people's attention, to get them to repent, to get them to fix their eyes on him. And Royce, I think you have the clip from the Golden Globes, but really, just like a smack in the face of God and Hollywood. You got that, Royce? So much has already happened in the first half, and the acceptance speeches have been on fire. Who got shouted out the most?
Let's look at the numbers.
All right, cast and crew are leading the way with 11 mentions. Moms are holding strong with three shout outs. God, creator of the universe, zero mentions. And Mario Lopez, host of Access Hollywood, one. All right. No surprise in this godless town. Yeah, right. But they all crack up at that. You know, they. They make a mockery of it. Even after she said this godless town, they all crack up again, and it's like, okay, well, will God do something to get these people's attention? Like, I. I don't put that out of the realm of possibility at all. Joe, it looks like you got something to say on that.
No, no, go ahead. It's just. Yeah, go ahead.
No good.
You know, we mock, right? We, you know, people mock. And throughout the whole Old Testament, you know, talks about how, you know, people walked away from God and they mocked, they worshiped other idols, and he always sets them straight how. Through some kind of. Whether it be a natural disaster, being taken over by some other nation.
And.
Yeah, when people laugh at God, God will get the last laugh. So it's. Yeah, it's. It's tough, man. All I got to do is pray for them, you know, and just like that kid who. Who didn't know who was going by the they, them and stuff, like, I just pray for them because they're lost, man. They're lost.
Yeah.
You know?
Yeah. Yeah.
At the end of the day, that's what it is. They. We all were lost at some point, too. None of us came out of the womb worshiping Jesus Christ. We all made a decision for Christ. We all welcomed him into our lives, into our heart. We all submitted, surrendered to him. And, yeah, we. We were all as a mess as they are now. And that's why our hearts. It can ever be, whether it be you're a Christian and you're talking to non Christians or you're conservative, you're talking to liberals, Whatever it is, your job should be to win them over to you, not to mock and ridicule them. It's about. Especially when it comes to Christianity coming to faith. We could sit here and. Yeah, are we throwing some shots at the obese lesbian woman who's telling people that you shouldn't be in a Fire. Like, yeah, are we throwing some shots there? We are. But at the end of the day, that somebody who's as lost as I was before I came to Christ, she needs Jesus as much as anybody else. And I guarantee that there would be such a clarity if she were to submit, surrender to Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit took up residency inside of her. There would be such a clarity, like, oh my gosh, what was I thinking? What was I doing? Because I think that all the time. What was that? Before I came to Christ, I was an idiot. Why did I think the way that I thought? Why did I do the things that I did? It was because I wasn't a child of God yet I was actually a child of Satan, as scripture says. It's not like I was a devil worshipper or anything like that. But you're either a child of God and you, you become a child of God once you place your faith in him. That's John 1. But first John talks about, you're either a child of God or a child of Satan. And unfortunately, when you're a child of Satan, your. Your mind is blinded by the enemy and you're just in his realm and he kind of uses you as a puppet. He's pulling the strings in your life. Even unbeknownst to you, you may not even believe in the devil, but he's the one who's pulling those puppet strings.
Yes. Yeah, that's good. That's good. And it can go to the other. I don't want to say extreme, but it can go to the other extent where, you know, we want to. Scripture tells us that they should know us by our fruit, right? Like by living our life with love and having grace towards others. But we don't have. We are not to succumb, and we don't have to live and abide by those. You have to call me by these pronouns and just the idiotic stuff that is just really mental illness at its core. Then there's the extreme that what I would call like, you know, street preachers, right? The guy on the side of the. With the bullhorn crying out, turn and burn, you know, and as much as that is truth, I've always questioned, like, man, it just seems like you're, you're turning people away. And it's, it's like a, it's a. And I think we even have a clip of this, this which recently just happened in la, of all places, not that long ago. And it. I would just love to have this conversation here with, with you guys too. Of, like, what's the line? What's the balance here as believers? To be this type of gal here who's just yelling from a microphone and people are just walking by super annoyed. But it. But she's speaking truth, right? And truth is offensive to people that don't know it and don't. Don't understand it yet. And so it's. It's just kind of interesting. Let's play the clip and then have a conversation about this. Of, like, what would be the best way for us to actually be witnesses to those that are just blinded at this point. Go ahead and play it, Royce.
There's a wrath coming to this city, and I prophetically speak it out loud as a warning. You think all this debauchery, all this sin is going unnoticed? You think getting drunk, smoking weed, sex before marriage, homosexuality, transgender, all of that, you think that God doesn't see it? God says it's an abomination. And the sins of the world separate us from a holy God, because the wages of sin is death, hell forever. But Jesus came to give you life and life abundantly. He came. Jesus came to die on a cross, a brutal death for you and me, so you could be forgiven of your sins. And three days later, he rose again. He's alive and alive forever more. So you must put your faith in Jesus Christ, the only one that.
So Los Angeles. That's good rice. So everything she's saying there is true, right? That's. That's real. That's real. And is it. Is it good to do that from the street corner and not have a conversation with them and say, well, I'm planting a seed, as, you know, Paul would mention, like, hey, Apollos watered and. And. But it's God who brings the actual harvest. Or is this maybe throwing seed on bad soil? Right. What's your guys's take on this? It's always a fun conversation.
Yeah. I feel like I don't think it's a smart tactic. I know. Especially first when I first, you know, accepted Christ. Again, I'm in the. You know, I'm on fire. I'm in the firehouse. And no guys, like, get out of here. Like, get away. It just doesn't. Doesn't fall on any. Any fertile ground. Right. And more obviously by. By actions. But what I do like, I like when people, like, louder with Crowder or Charlie Kirk, they do that change my mind. Or they want to sit down and have people come and look. Let's debate. Like, let me. So where do you think you're going? To go when you die, you know, questions like that, to get the person started thinking. But if someone's telling me, like pointing at me, telling me that I'm gonna die, you're just gonna turn more people off.
Yeah. And everything she's saying, like you said, Riley, is accurate. However, everybody who's hearing her right there has probably heard those same exact words shouted at them in one way or another. Now, I give credit to people who do that because they, I mean, you got to be bold to do it. Some people I, I think do have a little bit of a complex and they, they like the authority and there's a little bit of pride involved, but there are people who do it humbly. But Joe, you're somebody who has come to faith and really submitted to the Lord over the last few years. And just on the phone a couple days ago, you said, man, I've been praying every day that God opens up the door to have a conversation about Jesus. And you said about five days a week, God is opening that door. And I, I think those one on one conversations where you could actually build rapport, you know, it's almost the same as, as sales, right? You're building rapport. You're building a trust. You're getting the person to like, you know, you trust you, and then you're sharing with them your heart. So it's real, it's genuine. And I mean, you've been spectacular. You give me a praise report like three times a week of people that you've shared the gospel with. You've, you've done a, a deed for, to demonstrate the love of Christ and it, and it's bearing fruit already. So speak on that, brother.
Yeah, it's funny. Thanks for calling me out on that. But I guess, hey, listen, someone needs to hear this, right? So, yeah, when I wake up, you know, obviously, you know, I thank the Lord and I just say, God, send me someone new. Send me someone who I can just share you with. Let me tell you, man, you better be careful what you wish for, because, man, it comes. And it's so funny because I start laughing because I'm like, oh my gosh, here's another opportunity and another opportunity, whether it be at the gym, walking my dog, at the dog park, shopping. It's honestly, it's so awesome. And what I do like is, you know, it's not our job, our job to convert them, right? It's our job just to plant that seed, maybe water it a little bit. God's the one that's going to make it Grow. So, yeah, so if anyone's like, you know, a lot of people look at those streets breaches and they feel, oh, I'm not doing enough or I'm not that bold, just be bold in your local supermarket. Be bold on your local, you know, walking your out your, your dog or something like that. And he will, he will open up some, the floodgates. So be, just be prepared.
Yeah. Amen. What that woman was doing, again, all respect to her and Steph in the chat said even if one out of a hundred heard and listened to it, right? Yeah, there may be 10,000 that heard and disregarded it, but there could be that one, 100%. So I don't want to discount that by any means. But what she's doing is what the church should be doing. Wherever you see a church building, if they're just congregating on Sundays and maybe doing a midweek service and they're not getting out into the community, then they're not, they're not the church that, that Jesus had in mind. Right. And again, the church building is what he had in mind anyway. But this is, there's so many churches, so many. And even when you think of Mormons who come to your door, Jehovah's Witnesses, I don't hear them like just standing on a corner, just with a, on a soapbox. Right. They come to your door, which a lot of Christians don't do anymore. I, I, I've done that. I haven't done it lately, but I've done that in the past and it does spark up good conversation. And even if the person doesn't give their life to the Lord right there on the spot, you've planted a seed, a seed that, that, that's going to go deeper into the, the soil of their heart. More than just shouting at somebody with a bullhorn, I believe. But I think that the church needs to step up and do a better job, do community outreaches. Right. Let's go to a homeless shelter. Let, let's be the, the witness that, I mean, Acts 1:1:8 says, we got the Holy Spirit. God empowered us with the Holy Spirit to be a witness to Him. That's why we have it. It's not so we could just live this blessed life and feel good, filled with the Holy Spirit healing people and stuff like that. It's so we could testify to who Jesus is and point everybody's hearts towards Jesus. So I think the church really drops the ball when it comes to that. That should be a whole church doing that. We at my Church. One time we, we did a prayer drive through. We just all showed up on a Saturday and just had all these signs like do you need prayer? And people come through. And a lot of people who probably would never step in the door of a church, right, they're too intimidated by it or whatever the reason. There's a lot of reasons people wouldn't go to church, and a lot of them are valid reasons, quite frankly. But people who are having a bad day and it was just so wild to hear how many people say, man, I can't believe this is here today. This is what I'm going through and you reach that person. So as a whole, again, all due respect to that woman who's a street preacher, respect to all of them, but as a whole, as a church, we need to do a better job at reaching the people.
I want to just give a yes, I just want to give a shameless plug to my church, Compass Church in East Northport. Man, we are a small church, but we are making an impact, Chris. We do drive up prayers on Saturdays. We do homeless outreach. We are out in the streets or out, out of the seats and into the streets, like my buddy Billy Mack says. And like that little step, man, what it does, it just opens hearts. Like we had cop cars in the parking lot. People like, whoa, what's happening? Cops were stopping for prayers. Yeah, it was like, honk if you love Jesus. And people are just honking up and down. And like you said, man, you have to get out there and you have to do something.
Yeah, yeah, that's good, that's good. And that is even kind of brings, brings to mind you mentioned just like cop cars. And, and I'm just thinking of all the first responders, the firemen out there in California that are in the midst of this like battle right now. And a lot of them are believers, right? Maybe not as many as, as we would hope, but there are still, if we dare call it, a remnant of people in California that are, that are, are like disciples of Christ and they're there for a reason. I mean, I know a number of people out in California and, and it's when we. I'm just bringing this back to kind of the topic of God's wrath, right? And even there's lots of examples here in the Old Testament. But are believers like that they're just subject to what's going, what's going on or there's plenty of examples in, in scripture about them, you know, praying and, and interceding and fasting and changing God's mind, right? And, and like things that we as believers are called to do, right? To when, when we pray, Lord, your kingdom come on here on earth as it is in heaven. It's like, that's today and now, right? His rule and reign today. And it's not when we, when we leave our flesh suit and get to heaven, but it is today. And so let's talk about some examples. And Christian, maybe you can even help with this as far as, like, examples of God's wrath and even the examples of when was turned to be a good outcome, right? Because all things, right, all things. Romans 8:28 tells us that work together for the good of those that are. That love God and are called according to his purposes. Not all people love God, right? We know that that's true. But there are those that are there, right? And they're experiencing travesty and devastation and heartache and turmoil. And it's like, how can they still see that this is good? And, and that's what we have, that hope that we have, right? And what we are to be able to give an evidence for. And, and I think it's important for us not to forget those, but also to, you know, encourage. And even before we hop off this, just pray for those people out in California in what they're actually going through, but give us some examples, Christian, of, of just some God's wrath.
Yeah, yeah. And I, I just want to clear up too. I'm not saying that everybody who's affected by this wildfire is rebellious against God. I'm sure there's Christians who, who have lost their houses, right? But for us as believers, we don't know when our time is up, but we could look forward to when we pass from this life. Paul says, to live is Christ, to die is gain. Right? And we may not die. All of us want to, you know, die when we're 80 years old with our family around us in our sleep, something like that. But that's not the case for everybody. And who are we to question what God's plan is for any of us? But God, ultimately, he. He wants all the glory he's due, all the glory. And he will judge rebellious man, right? And just think of Genesis 6, the flood. If Noah wasn't a righteous man, then all of us would have been wiped out, right? Because he was the only righteous person on the earth. And he and his family got spared and God started over, but he judged the rest of humanity. Now I believe that every single one of us, until we have our last breath in our lung, we have an opportunity to receive salvation from Jesus Christ. 100. But when you see God wiping somebody out in the Old Testament, right, Even in the New Testament, Ananias and Sapphira, which is kind of debatable, were they believers? Were they, you know, are they going to be in heaven for, for lying to God there? When you, when you see that, it's like, okay, well, well, God is going to do whatever it takes to get our attention. And if God is wiping out a people group, or in the case of Genesis 6, all of humanity apart from Noah and his family, then God knows that that person has already been turned over. Like, like they're, they're gone. They're not going to make that decision for him. So it's not. So I, I don't think that that person, they, they, they would have still had opportunity past that. God knows the hearts of man. He knows our own hearts better. So he knows that the Canaanites, the Amalekites, that if those people groups who are wicked and we're going to raise their kids in evil ways to continue to be wicked and rebellious against God, that it's better to not have that group of people who are rebellious because all those children, they're just going to grow up to be more and more wicked and ultimately be in hell for all of eternity. So God loves you enough that he will spare you from that. Even we talked about on the podcast where Lucy started praying, the prayer for the kids, you know, before they come to that, that age where you can make a decision for Christ, whatever that may be for a particular child, God, if they're not going to walk with you, take them before that, that, that time, take them from this earth that they may be in heaven with you before they have an opportunity to rebel against you. And that, that, that's a gnarly prayer to pray, but that's what she prayed. But the flood, I mean, it was a natural disaster, right? It affected the entire world. And God will always display his power. He's always going to demonstrate our, our power. So there, there could be somebody who was looking at that fire, lost everything, and come to God just seeing a display of his power to give reverence to God and ultimately know that God, God is a just God. He's a very merciful God. He's very graceful God, very loving God, but he's a just God as well. And God is always going to judge the rebellion. There's. And you may live a life never affected. You may live like a comfortable life. And not really see the effects of it here on Earth. But our time on Earth is but a vapor. So who cares how good or bad your life is here on Earth? Because I'm concerned with the day I die, where I'm going to be for all of eternity, because that's not going to end. And so, yeah, the flood, you got Sodom and Gomorrah, obviously those two, two cities were, were burned. It was, it was hailing fire and sulfur on that nation. And yeah, it was an execution of judgment. And there was warning. That's, that's the thing. God never just like, came out and judged somebody without warning. We see all throughout Scripture, all that is the reason for the prophets, they, they exclaimed and pronounced warning and these potential judgments that would come. And even look at the case of story of Jonah, right? He didn't want to go to Nineveh because those were evil people. And Jonah thought in his heart, they don't even deserve God. They don't deserve to be let off the hook for all the evil that they do. And obviously, you know the story, he went the other way, way. He was a big storm. He jumped in the water or got thrown off the boat, swallowed by a big fish. And then he was like, okay, I get it. I gotta do this. I. I don't believe in Jonah. In his heart, he still wanted to do it, but he knew his calling as a prophet of God. He went and said, 40 days, unless you repent, you're done. And what happened? It said the whole city of Nineveh was saved. It's like, oh, my God, the whole city. But what if Jonah hadn't gotten there? What if Jonah didn't open his mouth? So God will use us and he will use natural disasters to get our attention, to get us to submit and surrender to Him.
Yes, absolutely, man. And I think, you know, just to be clear, and we kind of wrap up today's episode. It's like, you know the title of this, Is this God's Wrath? I mean, we certainly, we don't know, right? But obviously there was plenty of incompetence that led up to all of this. And at the end of the day, what God desires from all of us is that we repent. And we look to him. And repent can maybe seem like a religious word, but at the end of the day, it's not. It's simply just to turn around, right? To literally change your mind and to take on a new way of thinking. And as you mentioned, Christian, just that eternal type of mindset that this this life here is a vapor. And when I, I was just talking with Ellie about this, this last weekend, and it's like, man, when we start to look through a lens of eternity, it is the, the things that we do on the daily basis, what we get so caught up in and, and distraught about are, are literally. They're not that big of a deal, right? It's not that big of a deal, right? Because we, we have that hope, right? And the reason we have that hope is because of Jesus and because of. Not him just going to the cross, but him actually rising again and then ultimately sending the Holy Spirit here to minister to us and to those that have received him as Lord and Savior of their lives. And so we always want to make that just an invitation for those people listening. This doesn't have to be a huge, big event. You don't have to be in a church building to actually just repent, to just, just take on a new way of thinking and cry out to God. It says that if you, you believe in your heart, you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, that you can receive him as Savior of your life. And it doesn't matter where you're at, you can, you can do it when you're alone, you can do it with a friend, and it's just a simple thing. And then get plugged in to a body of believers, right? And into a tight grip, tight community to actually be discipled. Right? And, and that's where I think a lot of, a lot of the church is, is missing this thing out of. Like, what is that? Discipleship, Right? It's, it's. We are to evangelize. Yes. We are to preach the gospel with the, The Great Commission is to go and make disciples. And, and that's our heart with this show is to. We have fun, we chat about things. But this is about discipleship. Like, let's look at things through a biblical perspective and let's talk about them. Like, what does the Bible say? And how do we live this thing out while we're here on this earth? And the last thing that I, I just want to end with, right before we got on this just kind of hit me was 2nd Chronicles 7:14. It says, if my people who are called by my name, humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. It's simple, right? Humble ourselves. That's a big one. That's a big one for everybody. It's a continued big one. Even when you do receive Christ as Savior, it's a continual pride and ego are gnarly. It takes that intentionality to just humble ourselves and know that we ain't got. We don't know all the things that are going on right in other people's hearts. And what we are called though to do is to love and to love well, but love sometimes is a smack in the face to those. It's not acceptance of everything that's going on in the world. Jesus calls us friends. And as his friends, we can actually walk this life out with him and call on him and live that, that abundant life that he talks about in John 10:10. It's, it's, it's like there's so much that he has for us and wants for us here on this earth and all it just takes is a simple act of repentance, an act of prayer and, or confession and into belief. And it's, it's that. That simple Christian. Got anything else, brother?
Yeah. First John 1:9. If you confess your sins, God is faithful to forgive, and not just forgive, but cleanse us from all unrighteousness. He's the one who does the cleansing. We don't have to change. First all we have to do is confess. Believe. The Philippian jailer says, what must I do to be saved? What did Paul say? Believe on the name Jesus Christ. Right. Believe. So we don't have to come tidy ourselves up before we come to God. He knows the mess that we were. All we have to do is decide. I'm done with that, that person, that, that's going to be the old me. I'm going to turn to Christ. He's going to make me new. And Jeremiah 29:13 is a verse that I love that's for, for all of humanity. God says through Jeremiah, he says, you will seek Me and find Me when you search for me with your whole heart. God is not some like fairy tale. He's not some pixie dust in the air. God is not hiding from us. Right? If we seek with a whole heart, he will be found. Right? We will find him. 100 and when we find God, when we find Jesus Christ, there will be no other, no better day that I ever have for the rest of my life, no matter how long I live, no matter how what I'm blessed with than the day that my heart sought out Jesus Christ. I surrendered to Him. I believed, I made that change of mind, that I'm done. I'm at the end of my rope. I'm desperate. I can't do this anymore. I'm going to cry out to him. And when you cry out to God, like Peter when he walked on the water and he took his eyes off Jesus, he fell in the water. What did he do? He cried out. And what did Jesus do? He immediately grabbed him and brought him back on that boat. Immediately. When we cry out with a pure heart seeking God, God immediately responds. Immediately responds. And that's my exhortation to anybody who's listening today. Try it. Try it. Have a little conversation with God. Just seek. That's what I did. My wife, who led me to the Lord, she told me, just start waking up every morning thanking God you're alive. And that. That trickled into small conversations I was having with the Lord. Then all of a sudden, I start to actually believe he's there. Meanwhile, she. She's telling me things about scripture. She's praying in the background for me 1000%. And all of a sudden, that day came where the Holy Spirit just struck my heart. And I knew was like, all right, today's the day. And scripture says today is the day for salvation. Today is the day. And that verse applies from the day it was written until Christ comes back. If you read that verse, today is the day. And for all those people who walk past the. The woman with the bullhorn or just shouting, jesus, guess what? If you know, you know you're held accountable. Now you know there's no excuse. You've heard it. It may not be by the means. That was the name Nicest. You may have been shouted out, whatever. But if you know this knowledge of Jesus Christ and you choose not to spend your life with him here on Earth, then he's going to do you justice. And you're not going to get to spend all of eternity with him in heaven.
Yes. Amen. Amen. Let's close out with prayer for California, for America as a whole. And yeah, just for a heart of repentance, that we would humble ourselves. Christian. You want to do that, brother?
Sure. Sure. Heavenly Father God, you are a good God. You are a good God. And we're so blessed as your children. Those who know you, Lord God, to have received salvation, received everlasting life. And, Lord God, our joy isn't based on the circumstances around us. It's based on our relationship with you, Lord God. So we thank you for that, Lord. You are a merciful God, and we ask that you do have mercy on those who have lost everything, those family members of those who have died. Lord God, we know that you are a Merciful God. But Lord God, in the name of Jesus, I ask that no matter what the reasoning is, whether it be mismanagement, a mistake, a mishap, or an intentional arson in California, whatever the reason is, I pray that every single person affected by it, even the those who are watching clips on social media and watching the news, that it wakes them up, Lord God, that they may turn to you, that they may realize that they're not immortal, that. That we're all mortal, we're all going to pass from this earth one day. And there's something greater, there's a greater purpose. You have a perfect plan for each and every one of us, Lord God, your thoughts are not our thoughts. You think higher than us. Lord God. And Lord God, I pray that just a multitude of hearts and somebody had written in the chat that their prayers, that this sparks revival, they're believing for revival. Yes, I agree. We agree, Lord. Revival. We come to you asking and declaring for revival within this nation. Lord God, offer peace, offer comfort to those affected not just by the fire, but the hurricanes and all the natural disasters and just those who. Who are going through it and life for one reason or another. God, comfort them, meet them where they are, which we know that you do. And Lord God, just prick their heart, chisel away at their heart that it may be open to receive you. As you always stand at the door of every man's heart and knock. And you just desire that we open the door and welcome you in. May that be the hearts of everybody within this nation and throughout the world, Lord. And you're coming back soon and we look forward to that day. But in the meantime, the church has a job to do. And Lord God, equip the church to go out and make disciples. Not just make converts, make disciples and meet people with love and grace and just love on people. Lord God, equip us as only you could do by way of the Holy Spirit. We love you, Lord, and we just surrender to you today. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Amen and amen. We'll see you guys all on next week's episode show. Live. Live show. Yes. See you guys.
See you guys. Peace.
