Rylee Meek and Christian Edwards host a live show with Pastor John Amanchukwu discussing education, parental rights, and gender ideology in schools from a Christian perspective. They cover critical race theory, what parents should know about their kids' classrooms, and how faith shapes views on public education.
Welcome, everybody, to the King's Council live with myself, Riley Meek, and Christian Edwards. We have unfiltered conversations on politics, current events, but we do this from a Kingdom perspective. We want to. We want to do this to actually impact culture and ultimately transform lives. So welcome to the show. Happy Black Friday, everybody. We're going to recap Thanksgiving. We're going to recap what's been going on in the world today. I don't know if you guys heard this, but Biden apparently brokered. Yeah, he's taking credit for this, the ceasefire. We're gonna go into a lot of different things today, but I'm, I, I'm most excited about our guest that we have coming on here, Mr. John Amanachuku. And I'm pretty sure I said that right. Christian, did I say that right?
I think you added a syllable, John. Amanchuku.
Amanchuku. I said Amana.
Ah.
I'll get it right. I'll get it right when he comes on. For sure, for sure. What's up, everybody?
What's up, guys?
So, yeah, I'm pumped. I'm pumped, man. I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm a little bloated from yesterday's feast, but you look it.
You look it, you look it. We could tell.
Rough, man. Rough, rough. How was your Thanksgiving? We haven't really got a chance to recap much, man. What you been. What'd you guys do?
Yeah, Thanksgiving was great. It was a chill day. My son Isaiah and his family, they came over for dinner. I actually helped my wife Lucy cook this year. Usually I do none of it, but I stepped up to the plate. I. I helped. I was more of a sous chef, quite frankly. I didn't do anything of major importance, but we had a great time. And it's funny, you know, I've been intermittent fasting for, like, months now, and it's been serving me well. Last night I actually watched the documentary by John Amachuku that we're going to go over Today, and at 11 o' clock, I was like, I could go for some of those leftovers. So last night I'm sitting there watching the documentary stuff in my face and feeling like a fat slob, but it was worth it. I mean, how can you not go back for leftovers? And then we have, we got like two days worth of leftovers, so I'm pumped about that. And my wife, she makes the best. I was talking to our guy Roger, who I see in the chat, he just mentioned it, actually. My wife makes the best Mac and cheese cheese ever. And I came to realize when I started dating black woman and then dated my wife Lucy and married her, that black people just make macaroni and cheese different than white people. And it had been my favorite dish before that. And my mother, even when she tried Lucy's Mac and cheese, she's like, oh my God. And she even said to her, and it was pretty, it was pretty early on when we were together, she's like, man, white people can't make it like this. So God bless my wife Lucy for making the best Mac and cheese ever. And Roger, maybe we could ship some out to you or something.
Yeah. I want to know actually, for those in the chat, what was your favorite dish over the weekend? Or I guess it's just starting the weekend, but what was your favorite Thanksgiving dish? Because Thanksgiving, first off, we didn't even do turkey, we did chicken. But it was, it was fantastic. Very good. My wife, my wife made it and my mother in law makes an incredible stuffing. And I'm going to set a list once and for all. Todd, I know him and him and Graham were kind of talking and going back and forth. It was a debate if is it dressing or stuffing. I grew up calling it stuffing, bro. What did you call it?
Who calls it dressing?
Who say it?
That's what I'm saying.
Dressing. Todd. Todd or Graham?
Yeah, I think they both did. I call it, call it dressing.
So I don't know, it must be a Mississippi thing. I don't know anybody else that calls it dressing.
I did. I, I've heard it reference that, but I don't know, they're a little bit. Yeah, that's a Mississippi thing. I think so.
Yeah. Yeah. But stuffing that for me it goes Mac and cheese stuffing. And then I mean, my wife makes these candied yams, which I didn't even know what a candied yam was until her. So really I, I could go a whole Thanksgiving without eating any protein at all. Like, I don't even need a meat for, for Thanksgiving. It's just all sides and starches and carbs and load it up.
Did you get your workout in at least?
No, no, no workout. No workout. It's. I'm not going to work out today. I'll probably get back at it tomorrow. But I'm going to enjoy.
That's why you, that's why for those that don't know, Christian had like a lighter colored shirt on and he had to change into a black slimming shirt this show, so.
Right, right. But, but what's your favorite day about Thanksgiving? Because for me, I actually get convicted in the days leading up to Thanksgiving because we're supposed to give thanks every single day. Right. The Bible says we're to pray without ceasing and in all things give thanks. Right? We're. We're literally to give thanks for everything that we have and give thanks at all times. And I get convicted when we come to Thanksgiving because it's a good reminder. And let's not forget that Thanksgiving we was. Was based on thanking God, not just like a. A general state of gratitude that you're in. It's about thanking God. That's what the Pilgrims were. Were thanking. Part of why they came here was to escape religious persecution. And in circumstances that we can't even fathom today, they were grateful after half of that. Th. Those first colonists died in the first winter. They were grateful to be alive. Grateful for. For the trade ship that came in. They were able to trade beaver fur for wheat. They planted it. They had a bountiful harvest. And I did a Bible study on Wednesday, like I always do. Our King's Council Bible study. In this past Wednesday, I actually, in preparation for it, I read a whole lot of all the Presidential proclamation, proclamations of Thanksgivings from all the presidents over the years. And I read Joe Biden's that he put out on Wednesday night. And for the third year in a row, he didn't mention God. There's only been four presidents that didn't mention God, and Barack Obama was one of them. Ford and Nixon were the other two. But for three years in a row, he's the only president that didn't mention God multiple times, and for three years, no mention of God. But why would we be surprised at that, being that when he made his proclamation of our National Day of Prayer a couple years ago, he didn't even mention God in that. So why would he mention God? To honor and celebrate Thanksgiving.
Yeah, that's no surprise. That's one of the many things I'm thankful for, is we got a couple more months. But Trump is already doing things right now, which we've seen over the last couple of weeks, that he's operating kind of behind the scenes. It's getting some news in social media and things like that. If you guys have seen that, we're already heading in the right direction as far as immigration, that ceasefire that Biden. Biden took credit for. But we'll let him take credit. I don't care who gets credit for it.
Right.
As long. As long as this stuff Actually does happen. But, yeah, it was a good Thanksgiving Day. My packers won. Thank the Lord for that. The Cowboys won, too. Man, it must have been a good day down in Dallas.
Yeah, I think everybody down here, they just want them to lose and get a better draft pick next year, but the only team they can be is the New York Giants. They are the Giants, and the jets are the laughing stock of NFL football right now. It's pathetic.
It's. It is. I was hoping the jets would be a lot stronger, man, with Rogers at the helm, but it's just not been good there. But. But we're not into sports yet. Let's. It is. It is. It is Black Friday, for those of you that are. If you're out shopping or maybe you know a guy who's out shopping, send this to them so they got something to do if they're hanging with their wife so they can tune into us here. Uh, I remember those days, just, like, sitting in the waiting. Not the waiting room, but the dressing room, like, waiting for your spouse as. As they're actually, like, doing all the shopping. Thank the Lord I'm not having to go out today. But Royce, for those that don't know, he. He already went out bright and early. He's behind the scenes here. He got up bright and early and missed out on his new tv. Go. Darn it. But it is.
Can you just order it online now? Can you just order it online? Why do you have to go to the store now?
And. And also, it's not even like one day. These. These deals start like, they're weeks in advance leading up to this day. I actually did all of my shopping over the last couple of days just online, man. And so it's been incredible. That's another thing I'm actually thankful for. And for those that don't know, I thought this was interesting. I'm like, why did. Probably every year I think this. But I actually looked it up this year on why it is actually called Black Friday, which makes complete sense. Now, there's a lot of different stories that. That people will tell on this of, like, how this all really came about. But in the. In the 1980s, it kind of mainstream started to take this thing over of what Black Friday is. And in the retail world, the theory is, is that, you know, most companies are operating in the red, and so operating in the red is bad, means you're not profitable. And they're operating into the red until all of these sales actually launch them into the black. And that's really. Actually came about which is interesting. Now they just got to make enough money here over the next. Over this weekend here to last them the next 11 months to get to the next Black Friday. It's wild, man. Retail is not. Not a business world that I would want to be in. Not at all.
I wasn't sure why we called it Black Friday, but I figured just to cover ourselves, we would have a black guest just in honor of the day. But now that you're telling me this, we. We didn't have to get John this. This Friday. We could have got him another Friday.
We could have. We got it. But it is fitting. It is fitting. I love it, man. Do that though. I'm gonna. I gotta just shout out, you guys. I was wearing a shirt last week. Since it is Black Friday, I'm just gonna give another shout out here to the best deal online that you guys can actually find. If you want to wear your faith, you want to stand bold, you want to put that across your chest and be an advocate for truth. As you guys know from last week, I mentioned standup apparel. Go to stand up now apparel.com. and if you use the promo code King K I N G, you can get a 30% off discount store wide here. That's going to end. Does that go through this Christian, or is it then today?
No, through the weekend.
All right, all right.
Well, but, but I, I would suggest going on. I would. I would suggest getting on today while supplies last. Because stuff sells out on Black Friday.
It does, it does. And what I love, our good buddy Gerard owns Stand up now. So again, standupnow apparel.com, 30% code, 30% off code is king k ng. And this is the coolest part, Guy. 10% of all proceeds actually go to wounded veterans. Like they have a relief fund. And I didn know this, but Gerard mentioned this, that the va, they don't cover like dental. And so this, this actually goes to covering their dental needs that are for the 100% disabled and wounded veterans. So it is a great cause as well. So 10% of all those proceeds are gonna go toward helping that out as well. So standupnowapparel.com use promo code king Christian.
You wanna. Yeah.
You wanna invite on our guest brother?
Yeah, man. I'm pumped to have pastor, preacher, activists and just general good dude. And when, when I met and heard John speak for the first time, it's one of those things where it's like, oh, this guy, he's on our team. You know, when, like when your team signs like a beast in the off Season or when you realize, oh, that dude, he's for real. That's how I felt. It's like, yes, we need the, these bold, truth speaking Alpha men to represent Jesus Christ. And that's exactly what Pastor John Abanchuku does. And he has a new documentary. He spent this past year going across the nation speaking at school board meetings. And a lot of the clips have gone viral because I mean this is a big dude, I'm a big guy, I'm six four. And John makes me look, look small. He played football at NC State, but he doesn't take any crap from anybody and he'll, he'll call people out. I absolutely love it. And this new documentary show, it's called 22 Words and it's about when prayer, a 22 word prayer, was taken out of public schools back in 1961. And I watched it last night as I mentioned as I was eating leftovers at 11 o' clock at night. And he goes to these school board meetings and let's just before we bring him out, let's just show the, the trailer to this, this documentary.
It's Amon Chukwu and it means I know God. That's what it means. And for you to have a policy that says that in this meeting you're against vulgarity, then that means this board is a hypocrite. If you endorse books like this to be in the school system. They can't make me leave. I have freedom of speech. Yes, you do. And you are supposed to uphold that.
I think there's men and women that are ignorant of our educational system. They're still thinking that this is like when I went to school.
If they think that a 14 year old should be reading this in school, we have a serious problem. Are there any other books that are out there?
There are hundreds and hundreds.
God never intended for the church to be hid in a corner. That's not what God called us to do. We're supposed to occupy until he comes. But we do that standing. If you pervert the hearts and the minds of kids in this district, you will reap it. I'm disgusted. What a shame you all are. How do you define leftist indoctrination? A communist movement just at the heart. It's about dividing society, dividing parents from children, male and female, whatever the case may be. And once you're educated, you can find it.
Your time's up.
My time is not up. I'm not leaving. You want to know why I'm not leaving? Because I came too far to Defend these children in this district.
Ladies and gentlemen, preacher, author, activist, and now filmmaker, Pastor John Amanchukwu. Welcome aboard, brother. Glad to have you.
Hey, how's it. How's it going? Thank you for putting me in the middle at least, right?
You're like a reverse Oreo cookie, bro.
I knew. I knew you're gonna say that. Riley. I knew you're gonna say that.
How you been, man? How was your Thanksgiving?
It was great. I didn't eat too much. You know, I tried to reduce the amount of carbs, I. E. Macaroni and cheese. Right?
There you go.
I heard Christian talking about. You know, it's funny we can say this together because we don't. We're our emotions on our sleeves. But you have the white macaroni Mac. White macaroni and cheese versus black macaroni and cheese. The white macaroni and cheese, you can eat, you know, pretty much five to six times a week, right? And no issues. No problem. You know what I mean? You're not going to die an early death. Macaroni and cheese. I mean, you, You, You. You can only eat that once or twice a year because all of the stuff that goes into it and that's the best thing that you can ever taste, but it's really. It's really not healthy for you.
Not at all. Not at all.
The reason it's good, the reason you can eat the white macaroni and cheese is. Comes. It comes straight out of the craft box. You don't want to eat that. You don't want to eat that five days a week either, until RFK gets. It gets involved and it destroys all those ingredients, I guess so. That's great, man. Well, dude, I am but blessed. Honored to have. Have you on here and got to watch 22 words. I know Christian mentioned he watched it last night as well. And I know this is a project you've been working on for quite some time, dude. And yeah, man, I'm just. I'm so grateful for the. The battle, the fight that you fight. Not willing to actually, you know, settle it. And I think that's what a lot of Christians have done over the years, is just settled and are sitting back and. And praying about situations and not actually doing. Not putting that FAI action, man. So first off, just honor and thank you for stepping up to the battle, which I believe is really starting a movement here to get others involved, which we do want to give a call to action as eventually here on how you guys can actually get involved with this and participate, whether you have kids or not. This is something that is. Is for the next generation. And as you mentioned, man is one of my favorite scriptures. We are to occupy until he comes. That is kingdom culture that we are to be to be ushering in here, not letting the world dictate how we raise our kiddos, the next generation here. So it's just great that great to have you on, man. Tell us a little bit about this process of even how this film even come about and then what you're doing now with leading the Cyclone 400.
Yes. Well, about two. I'll say about two and a half years ago, a young Caucasian girl was being demonized in her school district for being a Christian. And I received notification that that was taking place. And so I went over there to defend her and to defend the Christian faith. And I didn't know that that message would go viral, that it would go all around the globe and land me on several different major platforms. Tucker Carlson, all of the Fox News things, and newsmax. Now, this major platform as well. You know, all of that stemmed from that one opportunity of me saying yes and running to the battle. I'll say this to people because sometimes people see me now and they say, hey, man, you are a superstar or you're a legend. You're this, you're that. I'm just a regular guy who wasn't afraid to go to a school board meeting and to call these tyrants on the carpet for trying to demean a young Christian girl for her Christian faith. Her teacher told her that believing in Jesus was tantamount to believing in a brick wall. And when I heard that, I had to do something to speak up for her. Many pastors failed to do so, but I didn't. And I went at the right time. And from there, God really catapulted my ministry. And now I'm inundated with requests to come to school board meetings all around the country. Every day, I get several requests to go to places I've now been. Virginia, North Carolina, New Jersey, Nevada, Florida, Texas, Colorado, California, Idaho, Pennsylvania, Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Missouri, New Mexico, and now Maryland. So I've been to 16 states, right? Speaking out on behalf of children. I've been able to amass over 300 million views by the glory of God to really display and show that critical race theory, gender theory, and queer theory is being taught. I've been able to flip some school boards. We've been able to remove dozens of pornographic books from all around the country. We've been able to strike down transgender policies. And I'M also now, as you mentioned, launching a program called Cyclone 400, where I'm seeking to raise up 400 school board leaders nationally. I want to recruit, train and develop these individuals and deploy them to stand boldly for our Christian values in the public square.
Amen, brother. It wasn't until you that I even knew that some of these books were in public school libraries. I, I couldn't believe it. And in these school board meetings, you'll actually read from some of these books. And of course, if you watch the documentary, if you follow John on social media, you see that he gets cut off, they shut his mic off, he gets escorted out by the police. You've been in handcuffs, brother, because of this. And, and the, the books that you read. Yeah, and it's unedited in the documentary. It's, it's gross, it's demonic, it's evil. What's being pushed, this, this agenda. So again, honor to you for what you're doing and even bringing it to the forefront. Because I'm sure there's a lot of parents out there that, you know, they're not necessarily on the political scene. They wouldn't say, oh, I'm conservative, I'm liberal, I'm this, I'm that. But just a normal, average parent would not want their kids to have access to what these kids have access to today.
Yes, I agree with that. You know, I have a book right here, it's called Worm Loves Worm. Okay. And this book pushes gender confusion upon kids. Kids can receive it as early as the age of four. Right. And I'll read just a little bit of this right here. It says, but which one of you is the bride? Ask the bees, how can we be brides bees if we don't know who the bride is? And it says, I can be the bride, says worm. And then the other worm says, I can too, says worm. Right. And so it's really pushing the ideology of two lesbian women getting married. And then it goes on to talk about two men, you know, two male worms being able to get married. And so they're really trying to deconstruct the Christian faith. These Marxist atheists won't stop at anything to push their agenda. That's why I abhor identity politics. Blacks were told feverishly during this past election that we have to vote for the so called black candidate, Kamala Harris, who sometimes she's black, sometimes she's Indian, sometimes, sometimes she's Jamaican, sometimes she's faking, sometimes she's bacon. Right? All across the board, you know what I mean, she just morphed into whatever she wanted to be, depending on the audience. And now what you see, after she lost, woefully, Trump won all of the electoral vote, all of the electoral votes in support there, the majority of that, and across the board, even the popular vote. And so Trump, I mean, dominated her. But the media constantly lied to us, and they use men like Barack Obama to tell black people that we need to be in our place and support the Democrat Party, you know, But I don't buy into identity politics. I'm more for being like minded than being like color. Right. Like color will only take you. But so far, you know, there's a saying within the black community that all skin folk aren't kin folk. Right. In other words, just because a person looks like you doesn't mean they have the same values. And so I can care less about pigmentation. You know, even look at what the, what the Democrat Party is doing now. Now Joe Biden has come out and put 39 black women on the U.S. court of Appeals. I don't care about that. Personally, I don't. That doesn't make me feel like a box has been checked and now we have representation. No, we don't. What he did was select 39 black women who are tantamount to being the new age Margaret Sangers, who are gonna fight against policies that seek to end abortion in this country. That's what he did. And so he's using black people to fight against the best interest of black people, which has always been the tool of white liberals. The original races, they've always sought to manipulate the hearts and the minds of blacks by using past atrocities and things of that nature. And so, man, we're fighting against this stuff across the board. I'm probably going in a direction that you didn't want to go, but you're good. I have to bring these things up because I haven't been duped. I haven't drunk the Kool Aid as I'm traveling to school board meetings around the country. I'm also hitting the. The gender theory and the queer theory issue, but I'm also hitting the critical race theory issue because I don't believe that all whites are inherently racist, you know, nor do I believe that blacks are proverbial victims and that we need to redefine proficiency in the name of making education more solvable for black people. I went to California and delivered a message there entitled 10 Things that Black Students don't need in Education. I said, number one, we don't need the Soft bigotry of low expectations. I said that we don't need critical race theory. I said that we don't need white liberals telling us that they know what's best for us, then we know what's best for ourselves. I said that we don't need affirmative action. Two weeks later, they were writing articles about me, calling me a white supremacist. Man, I'm as black as they African last name, you know what I mean? From Nigeria. You know, I was born in the States, but my father is from Nigeria. He came to the US in the 70s. But now I'm a white supremacist because I believe in school choice, because I believe in reducing inflation, because I believe that we shouldn't push racism in the public school system, you know, because I believe in smart and legal and safe immigration. Because I'm not for keeping our borders over so that open so that criminal illegal aliens can come into our country. Now you know why I'm a white supremacist? Because of that. It's unthinkable and unimaginable, man.
Yeah, I. Earlier in the year, my daughter, we call her Mooch. Her name's Artasia. She's. She's a stepdaughter, but she's my daughter. But she's black, right? She's not mixed. She's black. And she had interest in becoming a pilot. And I was like, well, well, this is the time to do it. You're a black young woman. I said, with all these DEI mandates. And she said, that would make me not want to pursue that because she was like, she's, she's offended at this whole dei. And we see some, some major corporations now going away from these mandates because they're losing money over it, right? And why in the world, especially as a pilot, I don't care what color, what creed, what religion. I want a pilot who's going to get me safely from point A to point B. And it's just illogical. But these woke ideologies that you're speaking of, that I don't know, when she was offended by it, it almost surprised me because I don't see other black people her age offended by it. They're just like, okay. They're kind of blase about it.
Well, because they have creatively created this mindset, right, this misnomer, Homer, that blacks are oppressed today. Today. Now, there was a time in this country where that was true, you know, during the 60s through Jim Crow laws. Yes, blacks were oppressed. We can point to that. But we've grown past a lot of those things in this country. And you all thought you have to give space for growth, right? And you have to acknowledge that growth as well. But today, as a black man living in America, a black, A black father, black children, black wife, you know, I'm not oppressed. You know, I live where I want to live, you know. You know what allows me to live in the neighborhood that I live in? My credit score, to get the loan and to pay my bills on time, you know, Right? Things allow me to live where I live, you know, when I fly, whether it's coach or first class, thank God for first class, you know what I mean? I'm 6 foot 4, 260 pounds, you know, flying in coach, it's rough on a brother, man. They bump me every time they come by.
Man.
Even if you, you know, sit in the exit row, you're still going to get bumped 20 times. You know, it's like I'm playing football again. But, you know, what allows me to do that is because of income, you know, and going to work. And so there's nothing in this country that I want to do that I can't do because of my pigmentation. Now, you can be psychologically oppressed, right? You can be mentally oppressed. Oppressed. But the Bible says who the sun sets free is free indeed.
Come on.
There's complete and full victory in Jesus Christ. Look at the mindset of the slaves and men like Frederick Douglass, who even went through slavery, but yet, and still he refused to be psychologically oppressed. You know, that's the kind of mentality that blacks need to hold to today. But instead, we allow men like Barack Hussein Obama, who did nothing, to better the plight of blacks in America. When he became the president twice, he did nothing. Then you have Obama. Then you have Kamala Harris. These individuals are puppet masters. And along with them, you have Reverend Al Sharpton, you have Jesse Jackson, you have Ben Crump and all of these leaders. You have big mouth Roland Martin. You have. You have him as well, who likes to get up there and open and complain because he's not getting the ad dollars that other big major companies are getting. Even though his production is trash. It's trash, right? He turns off the screen. Someone transitions during one of his segments and it shows a man with his. His butt exposed, right? Because I guess old buddy, old buddy rolling. Been watching male booties. So therefore, people see it, gets angry about it. It's out there. Go Google it. Go Google. Fact check me. Today it's Black Friday Baby, it's true. But he. He complains, but he's a multi millionaire. But he convinces his audience that they are oppressed. So how do you become a multi millionaire? No, you are arrogant, you're narcissistic, you lack accountability. Instead of putting the right things, the right content in front of black men and black women, you would rather talk about this mysterious struggle that we're still going through, man, God forbid.
Yeah. Yeah. Amen.
Yeah, brother. I, I want our. Our listeners to actually know we did mention you can go to. Well, John has it right literally above Him. IknowGod us, which is what Amanchuku stands for, right? In Nigerian, Amanchuku means I know God, so I know God us. You can go to his website there and you can get this documentary. And through today, I think you just even posted this on social media, man. They can get this for any, any amount of donation. Is that accurate?
That's right. You can go to I know God us to do that or go to 22wordsfilm. 22wordsfilm.com and get it as well. You can pay what you can, as much or as little as possible. You can get the film today at that. That rate.
Yes, yes. And then really that. Talk to us about the Cyclone 400, man. If, if, if people that. Because it's. I, I watch this documentary and it's like you just. You can't help but get fired up about this. And I think there's, there's. Again, you don't have to be a parent to actually get fired up and to, to go fight for those we are, to care for widows and orphans. And, and as. As a believer, if. If you believe for in truth, you should fight for it and, and stand for it as well. What is it that you. You're putting together here with this group, this Cyclone 400.
Well, that's my battle plan there, which really gives people the entryway into this movement. Over the past, I would say now three or four years, we've been in a parental rights battle. Right. And people can really start to see that now. You know, as these things are taking place. You have transgenders going into the public school system reading to our children. You have all this talk about the 1619 Project and critical race theory. There's so much division taking place. And so therefore, after being inundated with requests from all around the country to go to school board meetings, I know that I can't get everywhere at one time. You know, I'm not omnipresent like God. I don't have the ability to be in 50 states at one time. And so therefore, I'm raising up an army of individuals who can go through a process to be trained and developed to do the same thing. You know, it doesn't take a person who's as eloquent and gifted as Christian O'Reilly. Right. To be able to go, thank God to be able to go to a school board meeting and speak out and speak up. All it takes is a compassionate and concerned parent. You know, and we are the first pedagogues for our children. You know, we can't surrender our children to the state. You know, if you send a child off to Rome, don't be afraid and scared when they come back as a Roman. And so I strongly believe that now more than ever, parents just need to know how to engage. And so that's what this movement is all about, teaching people how to engage. You don't know how many people I've heard from weekly and daily who said that, you know what, man? I saw one of your videos and I always wanted to do that, but now you've taught me how, because I can just watch the video and see how you've done it. And it's simple for me. I just grabbed the book. You know, I grab a book from, from, from a library. Here's another one. This, the name of this book is called Flamer. You already know what time it is. Title of this book is it's perfectly normal, but it's really perfectly perverted, the content that's in this book. And so really what you do is you, you research the content or the books that are in your school's libraries or your child's library, and you find out what those books are. Right now, I'm putting together a curated list of books that parents should be concerned about. It's going to be about 300 to 500 of the most concerning books that we should tackle for this upcoming year. And so you just go to the library, research it, get the book, take some notes. They give you three minutes to speak at school board meetings. I just left New Mexico, where they gave me one minute to speak. Speak. So I traveled 2,000 miles from North Carolina to go and speak for one minute. But here's the power. The message went viral. Over nearly a thousand people showed up. The media got involved. And so therefore, we're exposing what's taking place. You know, it doesn't take God much time for him to get his message out. Amen.
Amen.
Think about the worst sermon ever delivered to the most Worst and I would say pathetic and just non engaged sermon ever delivered in the Bible was from a man who did not want to go preach when God told him to. Jonah, right?
Yeah.
Jonah, after being having his butt kicked, right, Swallowed by a whale in the well for three days, spit up on dry land, he finally goes and does what God tells him to do. But when he goes into the city, he goes in and says, hey, yep, if you don't, if you don't be obedient to God, the city is doomed. He's going to kill you. He just walked about saying that many thousands of people got saved, you know, off of a weak, puny message of him just not even being affectionate towards what he's saying because he was still going through the process of being mended and molded and God strengthening him to be the man of God that God desired him to be. And so with that, I'm saying that it doesn't take much to turn the tide. All it takes is a willing vessel, someone willing to speak up. Now, since we're speaking to men, and you all do that through this podcast, man, the Mama bears have done their job. You know, it's the Papa bears who are sitting on the couch eating potato chips, not willing to engage and thinking that leaving that up to the wife is the best thing. And it's. There's nothing like a man standing up behind a lectern at a microphone with his shoulders squared, prepared to defend the honor and integrity of his children. Now, even when you get on this battle in education, when it comes to men playing in women's sports, I say to myself all of the time, man, God forbid. Woe unto the men who sit in the bleachers, eat their Skittles and Twizzlers and popcorn and drink their Diet Coke and watch their baby girl be defrauded. I couldn't do it. Christian, we can crack this joke, man, and say that oftentimes it's mentioned that black people can't swim. You know what I mean? We're not the best swimmers. Can't swim as best as the average white dude. It's true. But listen, if my daughter is in that swimming pool getting ready to be dethroned by some dude with a package between the Speedo I'm getting in that pool, he's gonna know that there's in, in, in, in that pool. And I'm not advocating for violence, but I am advocating for being a protector. You know, you have, you have perverts and you have protectors. Pick one, you know, and we're, we want to call a generation of protectors to come to the forefront and to defend our children nationally.
Amen. Amen. And I want our viewers and listeners to know that's exactly what you're doing. You. You're. You're taking time away from your family, family on a regular basis to defend the children of the world. And you brought up scripture before, and one of the verses that you read at these school board meetings is Matthew 18:6.
Yeah.
And it says, but, but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were drowned in the depths of the sea. And then verse seven says, woe to the world because of offenses, for offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes. Now that word woe, you know, you're a preacher, you know that word woe was a powerful word that, that means inescapable impending judgment for those like, it's bad enough if you're gonna. If you're a sinner, if you choose the sin, God's going to take care of you. But if you are one who causes another one, especially a child to stumble, woe to that man. And that's exactly what you are pointing out. Woe to that man, man. Woe to these men and women at the school board meetings. I love. It was in Midland, Texas, where the black dude came out, he's like, I ain't no punk, I ain't no pervert, right? And then you wound up becoming friends with them, right?
Yes, you're right. Midland, Texas was something, you know, it was a, it was a packed out room that day. And I knew that while being in Texas. You know, there's a saying that everything is big in Texas, right? You know, even egos as well. And so I knew that if I delivered a strong message to the men, that someone might respond. And so the Lord says, you know, at the end, just, you know, challenge them. And so I told them, hey, if you don't remove the pornographic book, which was this book Push, which is a book that glorifies an incestuous relationship between a mother, father and their daughter. You know, the father impregnates the daughter twice. I mean, it's corrupt up. It's disgusting, man. It's vow. My heart goes out to kids who even have access to this stuff, man. But reading from this book, I, I knew that if I challenged those men and said, hey, if, if you don't remove the book, you're either a punk or a pervert. Someone would respond. Now, I never would have imagined that one of the school board leaders would leave from the day is come outside and confront me. And so I'm standing outside talking to people, and all of a sudden someone's coming from the side. I'm from the street, so we're always, you know, on a swivel, you know what I mean? And so I see this guy coming out of my rib, out of the corner of my eye. I said, all right. So he's angry, he's upset. He says, man, I'm not a punk and I'm not a pervert. I'm six, four. He's about five, three. But he had his hand in his pocket. You know, we're in Texas. They got guns upon guns upon guns in Texas. Texas. So that guy was armed that day, you know what I mean? He was, he was ready to fight, ready to get down with it. But, you know, the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but they're mighty. Through God to the pulling down of strongholds. I'm not there to physically fight anyone. This is spiritual warfare that we, that we're engaging in, right? So to have that conversation with him and see him blow up showed me that there was a school board member who was concerned. And within 12 or 14 hours, that gentleman went and had all of the pornographic books removed from the bookshelves in Midland. You know, it's amazing. He's. He's one of my best friends now. We chat all of the time. I brought him to my church, we had dinner together. You know, I gave him a generous contribution and donation as well, you know, so I. I'm just, I'm just thankful for the. These opportunities, but it requires us to stand boldly. So I'm asking everyone out there to go to 22wordsfilm.com, that's 22wordsfilm.com and watch this documentary. I want to get it on a major platform like TBN or even Fox News for them to show it so we. So we can get it out to millions of people. But now, now is the time to do so. Go to 22wordsfilm.com if you care about your children or if you've been told that, you know, there are book banners out there. I'm known nationally as the book banning pastor. You know what I mean? Right Wing Watch started that, you know, and so if you make it on Right Wing Watch, that's almost like having your name in the Lamb book, Lamb's book of Life. They're always writing about me. But listen, listen. This documentary will expose you to the truth of what happened in 1962 with the Engel v. Vital Court case when school sponsored prayer was banned. There was a non denominational, non proselytizing prayer that was in the public school system that had to be recited every day. The prayer says, almighty God, we acknowledge our dependence upon thee and we, we beg thy blessings upon us, our parents, our teachers and our country. That prayer, that simple prayer was banned. It doesn't invoke the name of Allah, of Buddha, of Reverend Sunyan Moon, or even the name of Jesus, but it does say Almighty God. And we know who Almighty God is. But that prayer was banned. And from there, former Secretary of Education William Bennett said that, that you could see a sharp trend in the education system from that point. From the 1960s all the way up to the 1990s, there's a sharp trend where divorce doubled, teenage pregnancy went up 200%, teen suicide increased by 300%, and violent crime went up 500%. So we've gone from prayer being in the public school system to now porn being in the public school system. We've gone from prayer to transgenders having the right to, I like to use this word, mentally rape the minds of our children. And that's what it is. Rape is to take advantage of someone's body or personhood without their ability to stop you. Right. To take advantage of them. And that's what's happening to our children when they go to school as early as the age of four or five and they're being told, yes, Mommy and daddy kind of got it wrong because, you know, two women can get married and two men can get married. It's mentally raped because it assaults the soul, it stains the brain, and it robs children of their innocence. If anyone should be standing up against this injustice, it should be men. So I'm calling for men all around the country to be bold, be courageous, be a man again, don't be a punk, don't be a pervert, but be a protector.
Amen. Amen. John, I got one more thing I want to ask you because I appreciated the conversation you had with Pastor Virgil Walker on the documentary and you talked about the lack of fear of God within the church. And he mentioned that he doesn't think that the church, you know, capital C church, the majority of the church, they don't worship the God of the Bible. And they, they don't, they don't revere God, they don't see him as a holy God. And I, I, I've been on my soapbox saying that biblical illiteracy is an epidemic that we're in within the church right now. Just biblical illiteracy. Because if we don't view God as a holy God and just a loving God, then we take that as license to just take advantage of his grace, right? We, we need to view him as loving and holy. He's a holy, righteous God and he will judge. And, and you're not going to hear about a holy righteous judging God on a Sunday morning in church because that pastor wants people to come back. Right?
That's right. Well, you know, I believe that we need hooked on phonics for Christians because we're dull of hearing. I mean, look at the number of people who just signed on and voted to abort a baby. You know, Bible gives us this thing called the Ten Commandments. Number six says, Thou shalt not, not murder. Right? Proverbs, chapter six, verses 16 through 19. God lists seven things that he calls abominable, one of which is the shedding of innocent blood. Right? And then we have the, the book of Jeremiah. It opens up, we see that Jeremiah is called. Before he was placed in his mother's womb, before he entered his mom's uterus, God had designed and ordained for him to be a prophet. Meaning that life is both a concept and a construct. It's a concept in that every person that exists, whether you were born into a good situation or a bad situation, whether you were wanted or not wanted, whether you were given up for adopt, adoption or not, all right? You are a concept in the mind of God. God wanted you, you know, and, and that's, that's very important. God wanted you, so he deemed it possible for you to be born. That's the concept then the construct is what is in the womb. And so today we're arguing about at what point and at what and at what size should we allow that baby to be killed. Right? So many Christians sign on to that and they claim that they are also Christian at the same time. I don't believe that you can be pro abortion and claim to be a Christian at the same time. You can't do it just as well as I believe that you can't support the Democrat party and still claim to be a Christian. I say that because their party platform in 2012 both rejected God. They rejected God and Jerusalem. Christians are told to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. They will prosper that love thee. All right? To take God out of the party platform is to reject Almighty God. And so you can't support a political party that's godless. And so, yes, there's a challenge within the church where we, we've got to the point where we're telling God what to do. The Bible says, woe to those who strive with their creator. We have the created trying to instruct the creator. And it doesn't work like that. Isaiah 5:20 says, Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light, light for darkness, bitter for sweet, sweet for bitter. Better. We're calling things that the Bible calls evil good. And it's a terrible thing to be in the hands of an angry God. So God spared us this past election, you know, whether you like all of the things that President Trump says or does, personality, you know, okay. But his policies benefit this country and his policies run by and large in tandem with the word of God. And so I strongly feel that more Christians need to know what the Bible says and they need to live by it. But here's the problem, Christian. And Riley, weak pulpits create weak Christians.
Yeah.
The reason why we see a weakening of the Christian faith. Faith is that the pulpit has been weakened. You know, if the pastor's the punk, the congregation are going to think punk, you know.
Yeah.
If the pastor tones it down, hides the truth in unrighteousness, takes this whole Joel Osteen approach to Christianity, you know, then yes, the membership is going to be brittle and weak and they're not going to know how to engage in cultural issues.
Amen. Yeah.
You are that on the head. Go ahead, bro.
Go ahead. Riley, I was just gonna say you, you, you are no punk. You are no pervert. But it was funny as you're speaking, I, I just thought of this the first time I met you. I, I, I had heard you speak at a Turning Point event and I had to shake your hand, just tell you, like, I just want to support you, encourage you, pray for you, whatever I could do. Because what you're doing is phenomenal and it's needed. Needed. And one of the first things I, I walked away with, I think I told Riley, I was like, man, he smelled good. He had some good smelling cologne, right? I was like, so this man smells good too. And then we saw each other again and it wasn't so the third or fourth time where we're chatting and our wives were there. I was like, no, I just gotta ask you, I don't want this to come off as me sounding gay or anything, but what do you wear, man? Because that cologne Smelled good. And I, I, I, I didn't even fill you in on this. I went to get it, I went to the store, I tested on myself. It didn't quite smell the same. So I guess there's something with the pheromones of that Nigerian blood that you got, and that, that cologne, it smells better. It didn't smell good on this cracker right here. All right, so I was disappointed.
That's funny, man. You might need to stick to, stick to Old Spice and Brute and Cool. But, yeah, you. It's good stuff, man. You'll find one that fits you in your chemistry. God willing.
God willing.
Oh, man, that's good.
Oh, man, that's great. It's great. John, this has been fantastic, man. And I know you're a busy guy. I really just appreciate you taking time away from all your shopping here today. I know you're, you're probably outstanding lines early today.
I let my wife do that. I make sure that she's armed and dangerous. Right? She has all that she needs to buy as much as she wants. But I don't want to go stand in the line, man.
No, I love it. I love it. I, I like how in the, in the film, your wife had mentioned when you guys said, first got together, it's like you were gonna either play football or preach the gospel. And she thought that was hilarious because, you know, you.
I'm just getting started, you know, at the time, I was what, maybe 20, 21, still in college, playing football, you know, and, But I was, I was sure on what the Lord was going to call me to do. And so I finished up playing football and then went into the ministry and, and now we're here, right? And so God has a sense of humor and, you know, she's my greatest supporter. And I'm just blessed, you know, to have a wife that understands the impact of ministry and, and her role that she plays in that as well, along with the family. So it's a good thing.
Yes. Yes. All right, one last time. So 22 words, film dot com. You guys can get that today. Any, any donation amount will get you access to that. It's, it's not, it's not long. It's only an hour long. I was, I kind of wanted it to be longer, man, as I was just, like, really getting fired up with this. And then after, after there, there's a great call to action. Do the QR code and, and learn how you can actually participate in this. Because all of this is happening. You mentioned all the different states but it is happening locally, wherever, whatever state, whatever county that you are in. This stuff is, is happening to our, you know, unbeknownst to, to a lot of people. And so consider this your wake up call to just to start to take action here and fight for this next generation, whether you have kids or not. That's part of, of what our, our commandment is to do is to occupy until he comes. And that, that as I mentioned earlier, that is ushering in this kingdom culture here and representing what truth actually stands for. So John, I appreciate you, brother. Love you, man. Well, you're going to be out at America Fest, right?
Yes, I am. I'm bringing the.
All right. All right, well maybe we'll see you out there, man.
Sounds good. Thank you so much for having me on. God bless you.
You all right?
God bless you, brother.
All right, you got it.
So good to have John on, man. He's such a good dude.
Yeah, yeah. You saw like I said, like, like this guy's on our team. This, this guy's on the good guys team. He's on team Jesus. Praise the Lord.
Yes.
Praise the Lord.
Yes. If there's a dude you want on your team, it's, it's him. What position did he play in football? I should asked him.
You know, I think he was the, I think he was defensive back end.
Yeah, he looks like a defensive end, man. Yeah.
Yeah.
Well, I know there's some other things going, going on in the world. Let's, let's. What else we got? I mean, kind of on those, those notes. I mean, didn't we just see is it Texas and Oklahoma is now bringing prayer back into school.
Is. Yeah. Bringing Bibles. Yeah, Bibles into the curriculum. And more than 500 Bibles have been purchased by Oklahoma schools and their plan is to buy 55,000 Bibles and it's going to be implemented in one of their classes using Bible as curriculum. The only thing I, I saw that I wasn't too keen on, the Bible is going to also have the Pledge of Allegiance in there, the Declaration of Independence, gonna have a couple other things in there. But they got the King James version Bible, which if you're going to implement this as, as curriculum at school, why go King James, you know, why not New King James, nasb, esv, niv, whatever it is. So. But hey, whatever, they're getting the Bibles back in schools and even that down here in Texas they are back to, in God we Trust posters are going back up on the schools. And I mean, I don't think It's a coincidence, coincidence that, you know, a week, two weeks after the election, all of a sudden this stuff is happening because I believe leaders and administrators and people in power that wanted to do this, they, they were fearful of doing such things because of the administration that was in, in Washington. But now, just simply by this election and knowing that they're going to have the support of the President of the United States then, and by all means, shame on you if you were a coward before. But good on you for stepping up to the forefront now.
Yes, yeah, absolutely. If you are a punk or a pervert before, we'll still welcome you back on the protector side of things. So I want to even mention, too, I went to the movie Bonhoeffer this past week, which was phenomenal. Phenomenal. If anybody else has seen Bonhoeffer, let us know in the chat, because this is something being a part of some of, you know, the King's Council. We've, we've kind of partnered with the Turning Point faith side of it, and we've been at some of their events and Eric Metaxas has really just been speaking a lot about Dietrich Bonhoeffer. Pastor. What is it? It's a pastor assassin. And there's one more, one more tagline of the movie. I can't, can't even remember what it is now. It was phenomenal. He was really fighting the good fight in, in Germany when Hitler was, you know, taking the, the helm and took over the church there in Germany. And he was, you know, trying to get the, the word out about what's going on coming. Flew back and forth to America a couple times and ultimately felt his battle was, was back there. And it was just a really, really good movie. And I, I just, it just reminded me of just like what we are called to do here is, you know, I think a lot of passive Christians just sit back and think, well, what can, what can I do? I'm just one guy, you know, imagine if John would have thought that, what, what can I do? Just one guy. Granted, he's a big dude, but still it just took him actually stepping up to say, hey, this ain't right. And, and naturally more and more people feel that way, but I just, I just felt encouraged to mention that like, like for those that are just like that, you see an injustice done. Doing nothing in the face of evil is evil itself. I think that's one of Dietrich's, like, somewhat quotes that he has. But if, if you're just willing to sit back and, and do nothing in the face of Evil, you are giving into that. You are consenting to that to actually take place. So really, really great movie. Angel Studios put that thing up.
Then he plot to kill Hitler.
Yeah.
He's a part of the plot to kill. Yeah. Which didn't succeed, obviously, but, yeah, that was ultimately why he was hanged. And really. Yeah. Just a great movie. Check it out. Check out. I don't even know where to send people to. We didn't talk about this, but Angel Studios is. Has put this together, and it's in a number of. Of theaters throughout the country right now.
And.
And do yourselves a favor. Plus, it's just supporting a great cause as well. Support the kingdom economy.
Yeah. Amen. Amen. So we got books being taken out of public school libraries. We got Texas and Oklahoma getting the Bible back in. Just on Wednesday, Republican governor in Ohio, he signed a bill into law that will prevent schools from allowing the opposite sex into the bathroom. So boys will be with. With boys, girls will be with girls. And you see the tide shifting.
Yeah.
You see the shift. And praise God for that. And I 100% believe that we are the beneficiaries of God's mercy. Right. We had an opportunity. The church unfortunately, still didn't show up for the election, as reported. However, God has his hand on this country. He's not done with us yet. And I don't want to be one of those nations that. That loses everything because we. We turn from God. In the Book of Hosea, he even says, oh, you thought all. All the. The wealth you had. You thought all the crops that you had, all that abundance you had, you thought that was because of somebody else but me. Oh, I'll get their attention. I'll take it all away. Then they'll know it's from me. I don't want to get to that point in this country. And thank God we see this tide starting to shift.
Yes, absolutely. And it's all. Now even more than ever, just a reason to take the offensive with it. It's like, I know we've talked about this on weeks past, but it's just like we've got the. The ball now, and. And now we got to run this thing down and. And actually take it to the end zone. Not to use some cliche sports analogies, but speaking of sports, what do we got going on?
Right. Well, just a couple days ago, the Boise State women's volleyball team, they forfeited their semifinal match in their Mountain West Conference semifinal game. This is a big game. This is you. You play all year to win your League championship. They forfeited because San Jose State has a dude on their team, and they didn't think it was right. And what I had read also was that the. The federal judge that allowed this guy to be on the women's volleyball team was appointed by Biden himself. No surprise there. But, yeah, honor and praise to Boise State women's volleyball team for saying, no, we're not even going to play. We're going to take the L. And guess what? If they had just played and won or played and lost, it would have gotten no attention, probably. But this is getting attention because they actually decided to sit it out. It's not right. They're standing up for what they believe, and they. They took the L. Their season's over now because they.
They.
They don't think it's right that a guy is on the other team, especially volleyball. Volleyball. I mean, guy. Have you ever seen a guy spike a volleyball compared to a girl spike a volleyball? I mean, it's ruthless.
It's ruthless. Is that the. Is that the image on the. The right. Is that the dude?
Yeah, I believe so.
That you have up there. R. Geez, it's getting. Oh, man. No, I'm not even gonna comment. So. But those are. Yeah, bro, like, I'm not. I'm barely five' eight right now, so I can hardly spike. But you. I've taken some. Some spikes before from some buddies, and those are some fast balls coming on in, so I know I've seen some of those clips in the past. Just. They can do some damage. So.
Yeah. Yeah. So cheers to Boise State women's volleyball team and your own football. I saw today. There's a football game today. Chiefs are playing today at, like, 2:00. Yeah, I. I don't think there's ever been a game on Black Friday, but, boy, does the NFL know how to make money. My God. Yeah.
Yeah, absolutely. Yeah. I mean, for a long time, I was like, why do all the games have to be at the same time? I want to watch multiple of these, and they're. They're finally capitalizing on it.
So, yeah, last night, I was going to say, last night the game was on Peacock, I believe. Right? And I. I canceled Peacock. I got Peacock to watch the first game of the NFL season. And then when Lucy and I were going through our stuff, I'm like, I don't need Peacock anymore. And then the game was on Peacock. So I was watching on telemundo by regular YouTube TV. So, you know, the video is the same. You just got It. And I learned a little Spanish along.
The way, so they do Spanish commentary.
Yeah.
Nice. Yeah, we can all learn a little Spanish, so it's good for you, man.
Yeah. Roger, the chat just asked, aren't the Commanders changing their name back to the Redskins? That there is serious talks of them using that logo, which, if they're able to use the logo, which I don't think is the most flattering logo of an Indian. Right. Or a Redskin. If they're able to use a logo, why can't they use the name? And it's such a. It's such a hot topic. Because there's both sides of it. There's plenty of American Indians who said, well, we. We want to keep the name because we don't want to be forgotten. And then there was others, probably Betas, that were like, the. The Beta. American Indians were like, no, this is offensive. Well.
Right. It's completely moronic. I've always called them the Redskins. I actually even forgot thought Commanders was their name because didn't they go by the Washington football team for a while?
Yeah.
Stupid, that is.
Yeah, man.
If anybody needs to change their name, it's the Packers. Like, what are we doing? Packers? Come on. Come on.
That'll never be changed. I just call Washington the Washington commies. They're Washington.
There we go. There we go.
That's.
That's fair.
Yeah.
Man. We're six minutes past the hour. Goodness gracious. All right.
Yeah. Yeah, man. We got to get the people back to their online shopping, flash deals, whatever it may be, and spend time with family. If you happen to be the recipient of a black person cooking macaroni and cheese, load up on it again today. And then probably not for a couple months.
Yes. Go ahead and pre order your diabetic. Diabetic needles right now and you'll be good to go. No, it's been great, but time does fly here. We will let people get to their Black Friday shopping. Don't go blow all your money because you're gonna need it to still pay rent this week. Don't forget that. And you guys have an incredible week. And we will see you guys all on next week's show.
See ya. Peace.
