Rylee Meek, Christian Edwards, and Pastor Rob McCoy discuss the recent election, evangelical voter turnout, and the church's role in society from a Kingdom perspective. They cover Christian obedience, moral law, and how believers should engage in civic life and cultural transformation.
All right, all right. Welcome to the King's Council live with myself, riley meek, and Mr. Christian Edwards, where we have unfiltered conversations on politics, current events, but from a Kingdom perspective. And we do this to impact culture and ultimately transform lives. So welcome, everybody. Some of you may be questioning, like, what in the world is the King's Council? You probably heard Graham mention this a little bit, but just to give you guys a little bit of overview on the King's Council, first off, Jesus is king. Can I get amen type amen in the chat? If you guys are with me on that? Jesus is King. And we just. We are sitting on the council. And what we really believe, we're a coaching company, essentially, we're a ministry that we believe we're to operate in excellence, mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually, and financially believe as believers, as followers of Jesus, which Christian and I are. We know some of you listening to this are as well. And for those that aren't, we invite you to learn more about this. What is this actually life? What does it mean to be a disciple, to be a true follower of Jesus Christ? Because he says that we, when we are actually sanctified, we are set apart. When you are a follower of Jesus, and what does that really mean? And it means to. To operate in excellence, to. To be set apart for the holy work of the Lord. And that's ultimately what we're diving into on today's episode. It's going to be fun. Christian, are you with me, man? There's not a whole lot to talk about today, is there, man?
You think there's just a little bit about. Can you hear me? Can you hear me?
I. I don't. I don't have you. Do you got me?
I got you. You're a little. Little glitchy, a little choppy, but I got you. So I don't know if that's on my end. Royce, can you hear us? That's the bigger thing. He's the producer. Okay, so I think it's your end, Riley. I don't know. I don't know. So you can't hear. Can you hear the words coming out of my mouth? I guess not. All right. You gotta get something going on with your audio settings. But, yeah, we had an election, an election that we prayed for, we fasted for. We got Trump in office. And I say we the. The church. But I don't know. Maybe not so much the church, if you take into account what Pastor Mark Driscoll said. He said that it was record low numbers for evangelical Christians turning up at the polls this year, which I'm not exactly sure how they measured that. I'm not sure if they knew I was an evangelical Christian when I voted. But according to Mark Driscoll, we didn't show up in record numbers like I, I was hoping for and praying for. And when we saw the, the results come in, I figured, hey, the church is showing up. You're not in.
Absolutely. I'm finally back. Do you hear me? Okay?
Yeah, you're good, man.
All right, all right. I lost on my, my earbuds, my Bluetooth, so I was like, do you hear me? All right, well, I caught the end of that. Dude, you were talking, you were talking about Driscoll, right? In the comment he had made.
Yeah, yeah. So again, I don't know how that's exactly measured. I can't remember when I registered to, to vote if it asks your, you know, religious affiliation, but if it did, I'm sure I, I put none just, just in case it would be used against me or that would be a ballot that winds up in the garbage or on fire somewhere because I was a Christian. But I don't know. How is that actually measured?
Yeah, I don't really know the answer to that either. That's interesting because I was trying to think if I actually put that down anywhere. And yeah, I'm not sure exactly how that is measured. But one of the things too that, I mean, I was expecting a full blown turnout with, you know, tp, USA faith, those that, I mean, there's been a movement here over the last couple of few years that Charlie Kirk, Rob McCoy, who we have joining us here in a little bit, they've been leading the charge here. And so when he, when he posted this, I was a little like, man, I first off, I was like angry, I'm gonna say righteously angry. Like what the world is actually going on here because it, it seemed like there was going to be more and more and I don't know, we haven't found the actual data on this if this is actually true. But if it is, shame on us if it truly is, because this out of any election, at least since we've been around, man, this, this should be one that, that evangelicals have actually came out and, and voted according to their biblical beliefs. Which brings me even to kind of the next one I want to talk about. Dude, the, the Catholic Church. I don't know if you saw this, but there were, it said that they, I think they were like making a claim to fame that like they were part of the reason that they actually caused Trump to win. I don't know if that's the truth, but they had a margin of 15% that were. Were voting that would have voted for Trump versus Kamala. And, bro, I don't think that's anything to brag about. 15. Are you kidding me? It should be a hundred percent if you actually believe in the true Bible, in what it actually says, the sanctity of life. It is. It's kind of radical, I just think. I mean, but, dude, that's why we're doing this show. That's why we're doing the show is to explain actual truth to people, to. To stand up for truth, to stand up for what's right. And it's. It's unfortunate that it was only that 15 margin that they actually said. But, hey, here we are, man. We're gonna. We're gonna continue because I think this battle was won, right? We know the war is already won. Jesus already won. We. We know that. We've read the end of. Of the Bible. We know what's won. But there's battle after battle after battle. So this was a battle that's won. But at the end of the day, we have to keep speaking truth, keep making disciples and. And keep preaching the gospel in. In all that we actually do. Would you agree, man?
Amen, brother. Amen. But if we're going to give credit to somebody, we may not know how many Catholics voted. We may not know how many evangelical Christians voted, but one thing's for sure is the Amish voted in Pennsylvania. And what people don't realize is a lot of people don't know that last January, federal agents actually raided Amish communities for not pasteurizing milk. They. They were drinking raw milk and distributing raw milk, and they were raided, and they said, enough is enough. And apparently many of them, if not all of them, there's about 100,000 of them in Pennsylvania alone, which is a crucial state, obviously. Yeah, they decided, we're not going to take this crap anymore. We're going to register to vote, and we're going to vote for the party. And I'm glad they did it, because I'm sure they had a lot. They saw a lot of flaws in Donald Trump. Right? The. The Amish probably saw a lot of flaws in Trump. However, they said, it's not so much about voting for him and his personality, but I'm voting against that. That party over there, that's evil, demonic, and wicked, and they're going to hassle us. We're not bothering anybody. The only thing that they're bother to is if you're actually driving in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, which I have.
Come on. That's what I was going to say, dude.
A couple times.
That had to been a heck of a line of horse and buggy in line to vote there, man. That. That have been pretty epic to see.
No, no, it's funny because they have an unbelievable place called Sight and Sound. There's one in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, one in Branson, Missouri, and they put on this Broadway. Broadway type production. It's better than Broadway, in my opinion. We. We.
You've been.
Oh, I've been there a couple times. It's phenomenal. So the story of. The story of Noah, Noah's ark was the best one that had a bunch of live animals. It was walking down the aisles to get onto the ark. It was phenomenal. But I don't understand. We have a good friend, Javier, who lives out there. As soon as you, like, get into town, it just smells like. Like horse dunk. It smells like horse. Horse poop, cow poop. Like the whole town.
Yeah.
I'm like, how do people like. We stopped at like a place to eat. It's being built up pretty good now. But I was like, you're walking into a place to eat and all you smell is poop around you. I don't know how they do it, but praise God for the Amish, if they did play a part in Trump getting re. While getting elected for the second term. Yes.
Yes. Dude, did you see? I actually. I sent it to you last night. I don't know if you saw this, but the. A prophetic word. I don't even want to show it yet because we don't know if it's actually even true, but a prophetic word from like 2007. Did you actually watch that, Man?
I didn't see that. No.
Gosh, dude, if, if, if, if we verify it's true, I want to show it next week, but it was from 2007 where the guy, Kenneth Somebody, I don't even remember his name now. Darn it. Maybe you can find it, Royce. No, Kenneth Copeland definitely wasn't him. There wasn't a request for money on that one. So it wasn't him. But it was. It was. There was going to be a trump for the. For a trumpet for Trump. Something along those lines that he was going to be elected for two terms. It didn't say consecutive. Consecutively. But this is what gave me chills, man. And I mean, I just even got him right now thinking about this is that I, uh, just really what, what he went into is just that the economy was going to be booming, right? That, that, that, that Trump wouldn't even name him specifically, but the words were Trump and a trumpet in the prophetic word. The economy was going to be booming. That the president, he was hot blooded. He wasn't a follower of Jesus at the time, but he was holy ghost filled. And, and he was leading this nation in just an economic boom like never before. And so, and I really believe as a business owner, for some of you listening, are your, your business owners, Whether you're a business owner or not, this is an incredible time. BB we have just entered the harvest season. I really, truly believe it. Throw harvest in the chat if you guys are with us on that, because the next four years, man, the next 20 years are going to be absolutely incredible. Is this it, Royce?
Let's.
Can we play this? It's like a. Maybe a minute long at all, but I want to play this thing right here. I'm going to just verify or claim. I don't know if this is actually true. Nowadays you don't really know what's true. So I don't want to, I don't want to be putting anything false out there, but I, I saw this. It said April 4, 2007, and it gave me goosebumps, chills as I was listening to this. So play it, Royce. I want to see. I want to, I want to see if anybody else resonates with this at all.
Take place shall be the most unusual thing, a transfiguration going into the marketplace, if you wish, into the news media, where Time magazine will have no choice.
But you say what I want them to say. Usually what I want to say.
The view what I want to say.
Trump shall become a trumpet, says the Lord. Trump shall become a trumpet.
I will raise up the trump to become a trumpet and build gates to open up the gate of the financial.
Realm for the church, says the Lord. I will not forget. 9, 11. I will not forget.
I saw a little bit shorter one than this, but it, I mean, what the heck? Trump the trumpet. This is from 2007. I saw the post there. Yeah, I don't know anything about this gentleman, but, bro, come on, come on. I, I just love. I've had prophetic, many prophetic words spoken to me. Some of them I'm like, I don't know so much only to have them literally play out in my life. And I've. I've actually even had some recorded from back in like 2007 that I've, I had on a CD, like a disc, if anybody remembers what that thing is. I actually had to find a CD player to play to listen to this thing and man alive, it was just incredible. And so I don't, I mean we don't, shouldn't take that stuff for granted. The Lord speaks today just as much now as he did 2,000 years ago. And he wants to continue to speak and move within this, his church, within the bride, the body of Christ. And, and ultimately guys, that's, that's, that's what we're called to do. We're called to occupy until he comes to have dominion. Right, like what does that actually mean, having dominion? It's not necessarily dominating others, but it's, it's dominating your assignment, whatever that God given assignment is that you've been given. If it's flipping burgers at McDonald's, if it's building a business, if it's raising your kids, dominate that, dominate that assignment and be your best. I don't know. Did I have audio Christian actually, when, when I opened this thing, I, I, I literally lost no audio where I explained what mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually. Did you hear that, brother?
Yeah, you didn't really get into it, but yeah, why don't you get back into that? I heard you.
Yeah, I want to get into that even a little bit more because even I'm just so excited about obviously what happened on Tuesday. Incredible for us. I believe God has continued to man, he heard the prayers of his people and he has not taken his hand of favor. And as I mentioned before, I really believe this is harvest season, that we to capitalize on this now more than ever. As, as his bride is his, is the, his body here on earth. We have the ability to, to make such a kingdom impact here and now. But we have to be the ones ready, we have to be the ones wanting to being accountable to this thing, being responsible with, with what he's given us here right now. We do know we have leadership here in America that for the most part is, is going to lead from a biblical perspective. Right? And, and I said for the most part because it's not it. There's plenty of flaws that, that are going on with all politics. Right? But we have the ability, we have the freedom here that a lot of countries just do not have the freedom to do so. And as Americans, this is where I think we've gotten fat, we've gotten lazy, we've gotten just soft, we've gotten weak on, on Operating in excellence. On, on. What does it truly mean? When I was saying earlier, like to be sanctified, that means we are set apart and God wants to work through his people here, but we have to be the ones that are going to put ourselves in a position to be used by Him. If we are just sitting back waiting for the miracles to take place, sitting on the sidelines, he's looking for those, he's looking for those Pauls where he can, he can say, hey, what I love about just, even the story of Paul and what we know, I mean Paul was a very strong willed individual. He was just, he was fighting for the wrong team, right? He was killing Christians, persecuting them. And in an instant God comes down and says, Paul, come on buddy, you're on this team now. And I believe that is happening in it with here in America, throughout the world. And they're going to be more and more people that are going to have the revelation of Jesus Christ in their life that are going to choose him as Lord, not just as Savior, not. This is what I think so many people have gotten confused. Is he savior? 100%. But if you're only looking to Jesus as savior of your life, you're missing the boat here. There's this concept, there's a reason in scripture it says Lord and Savior. And when we start to operate with him as true Lord of our life, that's when the true magic, the true miracles can actually start to take place and we can bring kingdom, the kingdom of heaven here on earth. That's what we're called to do, is to bring that kingdom of heaven here on earth as it is in heaven. But we have to be ready. We have to be available. We have to. When, when we talk about the five pillars here in the King's Council, we're talking mentally, emotionally, physically, right? If, if we're not mentally strong, if we're not, if we're not in the word of God, how are we emotionally even going to be able to handle these situations, right? The, the backlash that's going to come with this. If we're not physically fit, right? You don't have to be six pack, abs ripped, but you got to be sleeping well at night, right? You got to be consuming and praise the Lord for RFK coming in alongside Donald Trump in this man and what he's put out, what he said he's going to do to go after the fda, all the corruption that's actually taking place there and to make natural remedies great again, right? How about that? Why don't we get back to, like, true food, the. The understanding of what. What it actually means to eat food from the garden right now. It might not taste as good as your Cocoa Puffs, but at the end of the day, if you want to actually be fueled and be ready to go to battle, because that's what we're in, guys. Until he calls you home, you are in a spiritual war. Whether. Whether you believe it or not, you may not. You've been maybe sitting on the sidelines just thinking that, you know, I'm just gonna. I got my ticket to heaven. But at the end of the day, if you want to get in the game, now is the time. I believe everybody that's listening to this right now. I know God has put me in alignment with Christian Edwards, with Graham Allen, with Todd, with Mexican Tony, all of those. I believe that he is aligning, aligning within our alignments. Birth our assignments, guys. And I believe that he is aligning those warriors that are ready to go to battle. So I just want to invite you guys listening to this that you have been loyal to, dear America, you've been loyal to Graham in fighting this fight, and I want to congratulate you. Thank you. Honor you, but continue to invite you in on this process that that battle may have been won, but it is just getting started now more than ever. It's fourth quarter, baby. And who do you put in? Who do you put in in the fourth quarter? Your best players. So if you've been sitting on the sideline waiting to get engaged in this battle, waiting to engage in what. What it means to actually see Jesus as lord of your life, I just want to invite you into that process and engage in this thing, because there's nothing like it. Nothing like it, Christian. Come on, man.
Amen. Let's go. Hot seat. Todd said that he's in the chat. He said, Paul is his spirit animal. He said, I believe he was a thug just like I was. Or did he say, I am? Are you still a thug, Todd? You still a thug for Jesus? I believe you are, brother. Good stuff. Keep that chat rolling. Yeah? And think about this. The. The physical pillar. Now, I don't want to say if you're a Christian, you shouldn't be fat, right? I understand there's people with health conditions, but there's a lot of Christians that are just simply lazy. But like you said, if Jesus is lord of your life and you take the word of God seriously and you know that your body is the temple, how wild is that that God actually chooses to take up residency and dwell with. Within your vessel, your body. And so how are you treating God? By just filling it with junk. How are you treating God? By just physically being unhealthy. You're choosing to be unhealthy. And Royce, I think we have a picture of it, that Rachel Levine, a picture of her.
Richard. Richard Levine, bro. Get it right, get it right, right, right.
Do you want somebody like that if you're watching live on Rumble, representing the, the Health Department, being Health secretary, or do you want somebody like RFK Jr. Who at 70 years old has more of a six pack than me and you, brother, I know you work hard on your abs, but he got more of a six pack than both of us, and yes, he does. And I mean, if that picture right there, it's on the screen, isn't enough to have voted for Trump, I, I don't know. Yeah, right. Just zoomed in.
I mean, get it off, man. Get it off.
Yeah, yeah. Aside from a man dressing as a woman, that this person's obese, right? This per. He, she, whatever is obese, do you want that being the Secretary of Health for your nation? I think not so physical. 100% an important pillar. And that's what we, we talk about within the King's Council. We talk about all five power pillars, and the most important one being spiritual. We're heavy on spiritual because if you're all the pillars, they, they, they work with one another. So if you're lacking in one pillar or if you emphasize one pillar over another, it may, you know, shift the bar, you may start to lack in another. But we're, we're to excel where to take dominion. We're to dominate in all aspects of our lives as Christians. So we can't pour into our spiritual so much that we're going to be lazy, that we have mental issues or emotional problems. Word of God covers all of it. And Jesus and his healing power can allow us, can equip us and strengthen us and empower us to excel and exceed in all aspects of life.
Yes, brother, absolutely, man. You, you hit it on the head. I mean, we are to operate in excellence in that. And, and the last one is, Is financial. And this is what I think it's a. In the Christian community gets like the biggest heat. This was like a mindset shift that I even had to have of what I really thought that could do or, or shouldn't do as a believer. And, you know, I struggled with this wholeheartedly because I, you know, I, I've created this mindset when I grew up that I, I just thought that every Christian was broke, broken and defeated and you had to be in order to like truly love Jesus. And I came to the understanding, thank God just through his word, literally reading the Bible for myself and understanding that no, that's not what it says at all. When you truly get into the meat of it, unfortunately a lot of people are, are, you know, pulling scriptures out to fit their agenda, whatever that is. Unfortunately many false gospels are, are being preached out there and we are called, you know. Now it's not that we shouldn't have money, it's that money shouldn't have us. Right? I'm sure we've all, all heard that. And, and at the end of the day, what does that look like? Because it takes, it's going to take a heck of a lot of money to continue to advance the kingdom here on earth and, and through prayer and ultimately the wisdom of God and how to operate our business, how to set up a side hustle, how to continually have provision for the God given vision of the church. That's where the business leaders and those that continually excel in this, this, this realm that, that we're in right now. And why I'm, I'm even more jacked up than ever since Tuesday just because I know there's going to be more and more opportunities for, for in income producing opportunities for those that have been sitting on the sidelines, that are ready to get in the game, that are ready to start to actually take action now. Not based on, on fear or not even based on, on the desire to go get rich. Right? Because hey, most everybody wants that, right? But it's what are we going to do with it? How are we going to steward it appropriately? And whether it is your mental, emotional, physical, spiritual or financial component, we are called the stewardship, right? And it's God that is the, the provider and the source of everything. Our resources will continually change, probably over and over again, but our source will never change. And if we have that alignment, number one, we get into alignment with those that are of the same mindset. That's how we continue to advance the kingdom of heaven and have dominion here on earth. Man. I know we've got Rob coming on here in a little bit, but I want to just kind of segue into, from that, into just examples. I think that if you want to walk us through some examples of man, when, when God's people are blessed, which we are, no, no question blessed right now, especially again, if you live in America, why number One why maybe we've become lazy or we've become just lackadaisical because we, we've, we just, we have this posh lifestyle here in America. Now some of you listening be like, not, oh man, I'm, I'm freaking grinding here. I'm, I'm struggling. Yes, I totally understand that. But compared to other parts of the world, we got it pretty dang good here.
Yeah.
And, and I think there's so many examples of maybe win. A victory is won where we just kind of sit back and we're like, ah, and that's great to rest, right. God rested on the seventh day, right. But along came the next day, right. And this, this blueprint, which is what we coach on the seven step blueprint of, of having vision and ultimately creating structure in our life and in order and to, to completely have momentum and multiply, not forsaking the, the need to rest. That's. Heck. I talked to Graham this morning. He's like, bro, I'm just going to take a few days with Alyssa. I was like, you need it, man. You've been, you've been at this thing like no other. And honored again to you, Graham. And there's such importance in that. But the point of resting is to, to reflect, to, to recalibrate and then relaunch. And I think that's a season that, that we are all in right now where we can't sit back and put the foot off the gas and even pump the brake a little bit. We have to be balls to the wall here and continually move forward for what God has for us here in this, this next four years. And now we have the House and the Senate. What I believe will be for the next 20 years, we have, we have an opportunity at hand here that we have to capitalize on, man. But take us through a couple examples in scripture, man, of just what happens when we get a little fat and lazy. Fat and sad.
Yeah. Yeah. Well, praise God. Trump won the election and it's the best thing that could happen for the church. And we are the church. Right. So it wasn't until after he won that I was like, okay, wait a second. And you see reports already, you see the stock market going up, you just know that America is going to get better right very quickly here and it should be at least for these next four years. And what happened all throughout scripture, when a nation prospers, when a nation gets comfortable, they usually start turning the false gods. They become self reliant. They stop to depend and rely upon God and quickly My heart was just like, oh, man. It is easier for a nation to fall on its knees and cry out to Jesus and get saved, quite frankly, when they're desperate, when we're in desperate times, when we're in tough times. But now that we, we've gone through this tough season here, these last four years, and now we're, we should by all accounts, become this prosperous nation once again. Bank accounts are going to be looking better, right? Inflation will come down, interest rates will come down. Everybody's retirement accounts will, will go up again. And then what's that going to do to the heart of people? Because when you become comfortable, when you stop having a reason to depend on God and rely upon God and cry out to God, then that oftentimes we drift from him. And you look in Revelation chapter three, you look at the church of Laodicea right now, Jesus wrote to the seven churches and he didn't have anything good to say about the church of Laodicea. And In Revelation, chapter 3, 15, 17, he says, I know your works. You are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either. I'm sorry, I think I copied and pasted this myself. I, I, I think I messed up my own copy.
That's on you, bro.
Right? It would rather that were either cold or hot. Because if you are lukewarm and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind and naked. So he's saying, you, you're rich, you prosper. And because of that, it led to a lukew. It means like, you got one foot in with me, one foot out with me. And by all, by all accounts, I mean for Jesus, actually say, I'll spit you out of my mouth. I'd rather you be hot or cold. Like, like take a side. Don't, don't just have me as a compartment in your life where you call upon me when need be. Because quite frankly, when somebody's straight up cold for Jesus, they are an easier person to minister to and, and to lead to salvation than somebody who's just lukewarm. Because when you're lukewarm, you don't have a reason for a savior. You don't have a need in your own mind, in your own eyes, in your own heart for a savior. But as I said, it's all throughout Scripture. When people get comfortable, when people start to prosper, when people's bank accounts start getting fat, it's like, okay, I could take my foot off the gas in my. Seeking Jesus. I know a lot of us, including us within the King's council here, I mean, we had this spreadsheet. We signed up for shifts the whole week leading up to the election to, to fast and pray and, and honor and praise to you guys who, who stepped up and did that, not only got out and voted, but also behind the scenes, all the work that you did, labor and prayer for this country now. But like I said, when, When a nation becomes prosperous, then it's like, okay. And I have family members that are like that. All is good. All is good. So that desperation in our hearts could lead to. To people dropping to their knees. And you think of King Solomon as well. Go ahead. What do you got?
Yeah, I was just gonna say, dude, even that, you know, in Revelation, when he's talking about that, man, that was a story of my life for a number of years, is that, you know, I. I had the money. I. I had. I lived a pretty posh lifestyle, as some would say, and. But I was. I was the five pillars that we just talked about. You know, financially I was doing well, but mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, I was completely bankrupt. And while it is easier, I think, for. For people that have, you know, they're at the bottom of the barrel and they finally cry out like, I need a savior, while it. It is easier for that. And we find a lot of those, you know, within the church. Even more so, though, there are just as many, some of us listening on here as well, where you're like, I'm doing well, things are okay. And I do believe over the next four years, things are going to be economically even better for us if we take advantage of the opportunities that are out there. But there is still the need. There's still that feeling of unfulfillment and hunger, of something more. There's got to be something more. Because your pursuit of. Of man, that building, that business, I've did it multiple times. And every single one of those, I was left going, that's it. Like, what next? What's next? And it wasn't until, again, I wasn't just looking to Jesus as, okay, I got a ticket to heaven. I'm good. But Jesus as Lord of my life, that's when things radically, freaking, radically changed in my life. And it's been an incredible. Really, only the last five years have I actually been living with that perspective, with an eternal perspective. And that's, I think, the biggest thing as, as followers of Christ, so many of us have a perspective of 80 years or, you know, 60 or 70 years, however many years you think you're going to live on this earth. And we're thinking we're just building and doing stuff for that. But when you come into alignment with your creator and it's like, man, we take on this eternal perspective, that's when things start to get crazy. That's when things really start to. You have a new light, a new perspective of a lens that you're looking through, a kingdom perspective. And that's ultimately why I said earlier that I believe God is, is. Is aligning those within the faith, calling those that have been radical Sauls and calling them like, hey, I need you on this team now. And I believe we're seeing in the political realm, we're seeing in the business world, and we're going to continue to see it here, but it leads me into even next Christian. And maybe if we have time at the end, we'll go into more of these things here. But I want to talk about, like, what's next for the church itself.
And yeah, I don't just ask you this, Riley, Are you trying to say years ago you didn't have a kingdom perspective when you bought the limo just so you could travel by limo from your home in Minnesota to the Green Bay Packer football game?
I did not. I did not.
I.
Okay, No, I did not. A fully, completely different perspective there, man.
That's one of my favorite stories about you.
Crazy.
I love that you did that.
And I love that that's not the story you tell at my funeral.
No, I'm gonna mention it. I'm gonna mention. If you die before me, for sure I'm gonna mention it. And I. And I hope that the guy that you. You had a. A group of friends that went to the football game, but you made one of them drive. So you were in the back partying it up in the limo with. With a group of friends that you probably like more than the guy you may drive. But then you made him drive and you didn't even get him a ticket. You didn't even think about getting that guy a ticket to the game. But once you got there, you got him a ticket. I hope that guy shows up to your funeral. I' some time to share a few words at your funeral, brother.
No, no. Yeah, I was. I was not the greatest guy back then, but I. Hey, Jesus has changed me, man. I'm just as radical, but now I'm fighting on the. On I'm on fighting on the winning team this time.
Amen.
But let's, let's dive into what's next for the church and I don't think there's anybody better to have on than our good friend Pastor Rob McCoy. I believe he's on here. For those that don't know Rob, he has been co chair of Turning Point Faith, Turning Point USA Faith Division pastor for Charlie Kirk, senior pastor at Godspeak Calvary Church out in Thousand Oaks. Thousand Oaks, Yeah. Man About a lie. Thanks Rob, for filling the gaps there and former mayor so been in the political realm, but I love it because he has such a kingdom perspective of this man. Welcome to the show.
The show.
Rob. Thanks for taking the time, man.
Thank you. You guys are fun to be with. I was listening to you backstage. It's a good show.
Thank you. Thank you, man. Where are you? Are you in Cali now?
Yeah, we got in late last night from Phoenix. We were at the Turning Point headquarters for the returns and then stuck around to see how the swing states would, would fall and we were pretty blessed by all that. And then got got back to Thousand Oak. So I'm here for the week, here for the week.
Taking some, some time off. Hope you get to spend some time with your bride.
Amen. Yeah. Yeah. Well, so, so you guys were talking about the church and, and moving forward from here and it, the, the thing that was hitting me, especially Tuesday night when people were saying, are we going to win? Are we going to win? And I was, I was cautiously optimistic because I knew they had shenanigans and the reason why they couldn't finagle the voice the vote is because there were so many early voters that just flooded it. And we, we, we, we were, we were spared being hit by that bullet and, and the night proved to be overwhelming and, and victorious. But people were saying, you know, what if we don't win? I said, you know, come Wednesday after the election, I'm going to wake up and do the same thing I was doing on Tuesday. Faith forward. I'm not in charge of the outcome, I'm in charge of the obedience. And the reason why we got into this mess in the first place is because Christians weren't obedient. And we wake up and we become apathetic. It's the titler cycle. The Scottish historian that you go from slavery and bondage to faith and then faith to freedom, freedom to abundance, abundance to apathy, apathy to dependence and then back into slavery. And that's where Christians have been. We've been so content with Mammon that That we haven't been, you know, seeking God's word and seeking God's face. And, and I would encourage brothers and sisters out there, believers, you know, we talk about faith forward. How many of you, how many of you Christians, and this is based on an Exodus 20 and also Leviticus, this is God's command that we're to memorize and teach our children and our grandchildren. How many of you know that the ten Commandments out there and you can recite them by memory because Jesus said in Matthew 16, Beware of the leaven, of the Pharisees and the Sadducees and of Herod, that, that's, that's trying to establish civil law apart from moral law. And if we, we can't hold our representatives accountable to the moral law because we don't know it, why are we going to be shocked when a nation that was clearly designed to be a Christian nation, and we're in a constitutional crisis because we have a Christian form of government, common law, which comes directly from the scriptures. The first 13 states or colonies all declared in their, their constitutions that any elected official had to have a declaration of faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. So we have a Christian form of government void of Christians participating. The the largest, most apathetic voting bloc in America. And 35 million self professing evangelical Christians did not vote in this election. 35 million. We were on the brink of socialism. We were watching our children being mutilated and calling it health care. Chloe Cole, 15 years old, double mastectomy health care. And if you don't affirm them with the proper pronouns, you lose your children. In California. This is where we were. And 35 million evangelical Christians didn't love their neighbor enough to go into a voting booth and pull a lever. And I would ask Christendom, what is the decalogue? Because when Jesus said, beware of the leaven, of the Pharisees, Sadducees and of Herod, he was saying, trying to establish civil law apart from the moral law. The moral law doesn't save. I'm not confused. But the law According to Galatians 3 is a school teacher, guardian to point us to Christ until faith comes. So here, here it is, everybody. And pay attention. Hold up one finger. You guys, join me. One finger. Come on, let's do it. Say one God.
One God.
One God.
All right, good. Riley, you're a little slow. Take the second one and bend it and say, no idols, don't bow down.
No idols, no idols, don't bow down.
Three fingers, put it over your mouth. Say, don't take the name of the Lord your God in vain.
Don't take the name of the Lord your God in vain.
Honor the Sabbath day rest.
Honor the sabbath day rest.
5. Salute. Honor your mother and father. Go well with you. You live long in the land which I give you. 6.
Mother and father.
6. Don't murder.
Don't murder.
7 is kind of interesting. You hold up two fingers and you hold up five. There's two in a marriage, not five. Don't commit adultery.
I like that.
8. Hide your thumbs because if you steal, we'll cut them off. Don't steal. Nine. It's five, not four. It's four, not five. Don't bear false witness. Don't lie. And then ten. Don't covet. Socialism is coveting, wanting something that belongs to someone else so much that so that you'll take it. We would have never been in this position with the threat to a constitutional public that, thank God, will experience its 250th birthday. The oldest nation on the face of the earth under one article of incorporation. But we almost lost it because the citizens of this country were not educated by the pulpits of this nation to understand that you don't covet. That's stealing. You don't covet that socialism. It's a violation of two of the ten commandments. But we don't teach the decalogue. We don't understand the moral law. We don't understand civil law. We don't love our neighbors, ourselves. And we watched ourselves rolling into the abyss because we were wholly ignorant when Jesus said in Matthew 16:18, upon this rock I will build my. And everyone says church. And that's not the word. The, the. That word didn't come to hundreds of years later. Jesus didn't use a religious term. He didn't say synagogue or temple. He said ecclesia. And that was a secular term. And the etymology of that word goes all the way back to Aristotle. It's where the citizens of the city states of Greece would gather for the welfare and concerns of the citizens. And so when Jesus said, upon this rock I will build my public square, my city hall, and the gates of hell will not prevail. Gates enslave the law. When the moral law is applied are the wise restraints that make men free. You remove the moral law from civil law becomes a weapon to enslave. You're non essential. That's where we were headed, folks. We have been spared. Teach your children the decalogue. Get back to church, love your neighbors, yourself and do your job. And to think that Christians aren't supposed to be in politics. Any pastor saying that is is invoking a first century heresy called Gnosticism. They're gnostics, they're heretics. Politics. The definition isn't what you think it is, Paulie, meaning penny and ticks, meaning blood sucking parasite. Politics is from the word polis, which means the affairs and concerns of the city. As it says in Jeremiah 29:7, Pray for the peace of the city, for in its peace you'll have peace. Or to care for our neighbor, love them as ourselves. We, we defend and fight for the Chloe Coles of the world. Because we're Christians. We participate in the public square so the gates of hell will not prevail. And if there's apathy in the body of Christ and you're attending a church that doesn't operate in that capacity, find a new one. Yeah, because politicians are like actors. And so are pastors. They're just actors performing a script written by the audience. And you better write that script. Write it well, because we have a country to save and a nation that is so critical to the world that 80 cents in every dollar in evangelism comes from the United States of America. This is the lighthouse of the gospel for the entirety of the world. We keep the sea lanes open. We are the ones that allow wealth to be retained. We have more patents, more Nobel Peace prize winners, more 70s. We're only 4% of the world's population, but we have freedom because the, the pulpits in America are the be the beacons of freedom. Liberty and freedom are not man's idea. It's God's idea man wants to enslave. God has come to set the captives free. Quit being apathetic and hiding behind the the lie that you don't do politics, you just preach the gospel. And that, that is, that is causing the gospel to be myopic and truncated. And it's invoking a first century heresy of Gnosticism. The old politics is dirty, Pastor. I, I just preach the gospel. The church is dirty. Everything, everything when man participates in is dirty. So just shut the excuses and step into the ecclesia, the public square for the sake of your neighbor. Well, I'm tired of voting for the lesser to evil. Unless Jesus is running for office. You're always voting for the lesser two evils. Cut the excuses. Step back into the public square and contend for your neighbor. I'm done. God bless you guys.
Amen, dude. Amen. Well, we Got more questions?
No, no.
Well, so good, like four or five questions, but I think you answered all of them in that, Rob, so I will defer to you, Christian. Take it away, man.
Yeah. So are you saying, Rob, that the common denominator of these 35 million evangelicals that did not vote, is it simply biblical illiteracy? Is that the common denominator when it comes down to it?
Bad shepherding, Biblically illiterate. Yeah. Wholly confused for certainty. There is no Christian principle that they can stand upon that permits them to abrogate or abdicate their responsibility to their neighbor. When Jesus said, and he was asked what are the, what's the great commandment? He said, to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, strength and mind. He said, the second is like it, to love your neighbors yourself. On these two commandments hang the law and the prophets. That's it. And, and the decalogue itself. The first five is loving God and the second five is loving your neighbor. Jesus summed them up in those two. And I'm not saying, listen, I'm not saying that the law saves. I'm not a legalist. It certainly does preserve. And Paul said in Galatians 3, it's a tutor, it's a teacher, it points you to Christ until faith comes in. A culture like our founders established, where they said the laws of nature, nature's God, they're recognizing a designer and one we're accountable to. And, and any pulpit that's not doing that in America and is twisting the scriptures to adjust to culture instead of driving culture, you need to find a new church. And, and the, the, the Russell Moore's of the world and David French's other. Those guys are done. They're done. The ones who are saying you don't participate in the public square and they're embracing a third trimester baby killer. Look, I get it. Trump is not pro life, especially to the point where I'd like him to be. But name one president who's done more for life than Trump in our lifetime. And I would also add, for, for those of you say, you know, I, I'm not going to vote in this election because both of the candidates were pro choice. That, that is the dumbest statement I think I could ever hear uttered from any pastor's mouth. So you're going to say to all the fentanyl overdose children whose families are devastated that, that you're not going to vote to secure a border because you're a one issue voter? Christians miss the good because we demand the perfect we have no clue how politics works. You're never going to find a candidate that you agree with 100% of the time. Ever. But you're contending for your neighbor and you find the commonality to protect your community. And, and, and to play this moral high ground like you are morally superior to because you're pro life but you don't soil your hands in the political arena is again, Gnosticism, the first century heresy. That you don't taint yourself with the things of the world because you're so morally superior.
Right?
You're not. And we all know you're not. And quit acting that way. Oh, I can't vote for a man who's been three times married and twice divorced. Okay, fine. Then take Samson out of the hall of faith. Name one moral thing about Samson's Life. Right? Hebrews 11. Name one more thing. He was in a prostitute's bed all night and the spirit of the Lord came upon him. I can't do some Sunday school. Forget it. But why would God put him in. In Hebrews 11. Because Judges 14:4, which Samson's parents didn't realize is God was seeking an occasion to move against the Philistines. Samson was willing to do what God's people weren't. Vanquish evil from the land. And. And you know what? I'm not voting for pastor in chief. It's not a valentine for me. I'm voting for a bodyguard of Western civilization. And. And that's how I pulled the lever. That's how I voted. You need to educate your congregation on how to protect your neighbors and love them as yourself.
Yeah. That's so good, Rob. You pretty much answered this, but I got a lot of calls from. From friends of mine leading up to the election. The last couple of weeks, they're saying, what should I do? My. My pastor, my church. They're not talking about the election. They're passive. They don't want to speak on real issues. And I. I think you just said it. Find a new church. It's as cut and dry as that. Just find a new church.
You. You remain there. You become part of the problem. You're writing a script allowing them to continue to exist in a church that accomplishes nothing.
Before. Before they depart the church, should they have a conversation with leadership?
Yes. Endeavor to keep the union of the spirit and the bond of peace. You speak the truth in love. Walk up to them and say, I. I've asked you, I've begged you. And it's obviously not something you're interested In. And we are on polar opposites in relation to this. And I just wanted to let you know we'll be leaving and I'll be praying for you.
Yeah, that's good. That's good.
As it's possible. Live at peace with all men. But. But at one point, you've got to, hey, you know, this is going nowhere, and I'm having no influence. My wife and I stayed in a church whose pastor didn't believe in the inerrancy of scripture. And yet we stayed there because they never put conditions on us to minister to their youth. And. And so we were given an entire generation to minister to, and we weren't violating any of their bylaws. And. And it proved to be enormously fruitful so that the next generation stepped in that church, and it was stronger. But. But if they're. If they're going to hamstring you and just. They. You know, we're not doing voter registration. We don't talk about politics. No, you can't wear your Trump shirt to church. Go. Go somewhere else.
Just.
Let's go.
Yeah. Amen. Amen. My last question for you, Rob, is obviously, we said it. You're Charlie Kirk's pastor. And that's one of the things that I love about Charlie, is he has accountability in his life. Because when anybody starts soaring to leadership, if they don't have accountability, you see what's happening down here. I'm in Dallas, and we see pastors falling left and right to moral failure, and it's nothing new under the sun. It's been going on forever. But how. How can we, as leaders in the church, not just pastors, but just leaders within the church who are actually speaking of speaking truth, walking out righteousness as best as we can. What. What would you say? What's your advice? To just keep accountability in your life and what have you done personally? Because you've been pastoring for many years.
Yeah. So three things bring down a guy like Charlie, Kurt Gold, Gloria, Girls, and. And I. I've been with him, traveling with him, in some of the most intense times. I've seen this guy operating on two to three hours of sleep a night, you know, both of us unbelievably exhausted, twice his age. And I'm watching him burn the candle, and he just doesn't stop. And I see people. I remember one time a guy, you know, came to him with. He says, I want to give you $20,000 cash. And he. He was holding the money. And Charlie goes, no, I don't. I don't do that. Thanks. Like you can go through the organization. I don't, I don't do that. And, and I've watched him every step of the way. And you know, you want accountability, but in, in reality, what accountability is, is an unwillingness to do something yourself before God. You have accountability, you have the Lord. Keep your eyes on him, the author and finisher of your faith. And there's three types of sins. There's secret sins, private sins, and public sins. And the circle of sin is the circle of repentance. So your private sin is between you and the Lord and you know what you're doing. And when you confess that before the Lord, then the repentance is before the Lord. But God, he's merciful, but he's also just, he's not going to allow his reputation to be adversely affected. So if you're not going to repent of your secret sin, he's going to move it into the private sin category where the Bible says your sins will find you out. And then there's going to be people in your private world that know of your sins. And so those, those, those, those private sins now become private confessions. And that's, that's the circle of sin is a circle of repentance. And if you don't do it there, he'll move it into the public sphere because he's, he's willing to expose your issues for the sake of keeping his, his character intact. He's, he's working, he's, he's, he's merciful with pastors. He allows that secret sin to remain there so you can repent and deal with it. There's no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. He's cast your sin as far as the east is from the west to be remembered no more. But you don't continue in sin so that grace may abound because if you do, they'll move it into the private sin world. And if you don't deal with it there, around folks who love you and understand as Noah, Noah's sons walk backwards and covered his nakedness. But Ham didn't. Don't be a ham. There's going to be folks in your world that are going to protect you and protect your character and no secrets about you that they're not going to reveal. But they're waiting for you to come to a place of developing your character. They know it's a one off. They know it doesn't represent you. But if you don't deal with it there, he'll put it into the public sphere and you'll be embarrassed. But ultimately God is going to protect his reputation and he's giving you mercy all the way down. But you want someone to come in and play Holy Spirit for you. Accountability is good, but if you're not applying accountability before the Lord and then he exposes it to be with people that you trust that are encouraging you and you're not going to do it there, there's going to be fallout. The body of Christ, we're going to have that. And, and that's where you hold into the Scriptures. You press in and you do the things that, that allow you to walk in such a way that it's worthy of the calling upon your life. I don't know if that's the answer you're looking for, but that's what's worked with me. I would like to say that I'm sin free and I've never fallen. God showed me all the way. I remember one time I'm preaching on a Sunday morning and I'm not going to go through all of it because there's folks out there that I just don't trust them with the information. But as I'm in the pulpit, I'm thinking, lord, if this is what I'm dealing with, I can't imagine what the people in the fellowship are dealing with. And the Lord, it was humbling but comforting all at the same time. The Lord goes, no, you're the worst.
Yeah.
And I go, what do you mean? Because I take the foolish things of the world to confound the wisdom of the wise. And yeah, Rob, you're in a public sphere and I want you to know these folks are walking with me. And the greater the pressure, the more you need to press in. And I just, at that moment I was comforted that the congregation wasn't a bunch of losers like me, but at the same time also realized how merciful God was. And that's what I would say to folks out there. You're not who you are because you're special. You're who you are because God has been merciful and be grateful for that and cling to him. Because in him is the fullness of joy. And in me that is, in my flesh dwells no good thing. But he's imputed his righteousness to me. And I don't, I don't do good works to be saved. I do them because I am saved. Not out of obligation, but adoration.
Yeah.
You are so good to me. Why? Why do I want to violate the third Commandment and take your name into that. That. That den of sin where. Where you. You would never go. Why. Why would I violate that third command?
So good, Rob. So good. Well, Rob, we'll get you out of here if you don't. If you haven't known Rob, Pastor Rob McCoy before now. Now you do you see why we had him on the show? Follow him on social media, subscribe to his church YouTube page if you want want solid doctrine, good biblical preaching, look at Pastor Rob McCoy. So, Rob, thank you for the. Just the way you've poured into our lives personally, the way you've poured yourself out in abundance to so many others. And because of the work that you've done. You've been outspoken and bold from the beginning of this thing. And I just got to say honor to you and keep up the good work, brother.
I'm rubber. Your glue bounces off me. Sticks to. You guys are precious. Thanks for all you. You all do. Seriously, we'd all be going on a long, lonely walk if everybody wasn't carrying a corner of the stretcher. And thank you, Lord, for your mercy on this country. And I pray that these four years would lead into an awakening and a revival the likes we've never seen in our lifetime.
In Jesus name, amen. Amen. Love you, brother. Get some rest.
We'll do. Bless you guys.
Take care. All right, there you have it, guys. Pastor Rob McCoy. You see why we had him on the program. I'm sure we'll have him on again in the future. It looks to me like Riley screen is frozen or he's just deep in thought with what Pastor Rob has said. Say something to me, brother, if you got me. All right. He's frozen. I was dealing with the tech issues before we logged on, and now Riley's got the tech issues. So I know he's better at this than I am, but I will do my best to close out the show. We're at 11:59 here, and like we did last week on the show, we were lovers of sports, the. The athletic world. Riley and I were both athletes. You may not be able to tell by Riley, but he's a. He's a solid 5, 8, 5, 9. Riley. He probably can't hear me, so I. I could get all these digs in now, but he was star quarterback of his football team in high school. They only had like 16 guys on the team, so somebody had to play quarterback, but that was Riley. I was a basketball player. But we love sports. We love Jesus even more. So I just want to get into some reactions of Trump winning the. The election. So LeBron James, he'll never hold a candle to Michael Jordan. If you agree with that, just write MJ in the chat. You got me, Riley? Still no. Okay, Just. Right.
Mj, I'm back, bro. I think I'm back. Not today, Satan. Come on.
Okay, so don't re. Watch the show. I was throwing some shade your way. I. I was talking about how we're both former athletes, we love sports. We got into sports at the end of last Week.
Week.
But LeBron James will never hold a candle to Michael Jordan. I just saw a video, not Reese, not too, too long ago, it was Michael Jordan clips of Michael Jordan and how he used to get hammered. Like, literally, like, raped. When he drove the ball to the hoop and thrown to the floor, and he would get up and get in somebody's face. Then they showed LeBron James, like, when he gets like. Like, accidentally brushed against his head and he falls down like he got shot with a rifle. Right? So that alone is why MJ will always be supreme to LeBron James. But LeBron, you know, he came out with that. That video before the election, basically painting Trump as a Nazi and all of his supporters, quite frankly. But he. He posted after the election a post. A tweet to his daughter, and he's literally saying in this tweet, like, I'm gonna protect you. Like. Like, I won't let the other side hurt you. Yeah. He says right there, heavy on my heart and mind this morning, my princess, I promise to protect you with everything I have and more. We don't need their help. Who's there? Who's their help? Because, I mean, unless I got this whole thing wrong, Riley, I mean, I thought it was the Democratic Party that's allowing, like, grown men to go into the bathroom with his daughter. I thought it was that party. Like, what if his daughter. I'm sure she doesn't go to a public school, but went to a school in California and said, I want to be addressed as he, him, and the school, by law. Can. I can't even tell the parents. They're not even allowed. There's a law that was passed that bans them from even telling the parents that your child wants to be called by a different gender. What if they want to act that out and the state takes your child from them? So who's the enemy? Who's actually trying to protect our children here and.
Right. I mean, you got me, man.
Yeah, go ahead, rip it, dude.
That's so frustrating. I apologize. Just cut me off if you don't, you don't got me. But this is like the epitome of victim mindset. And to be clear, you don't have to be black, you don't have to be brown, you don't have to be white to have this mindset. It's just, it's, you take this on, the dude literally makes millions, hundreds of millions of dollars and is still blaming they, who, you know, whoever they is that he's referring to there. And that's just the power again, of just the mental understanding with the minds of believers. And, and he's just going to continue to be, pour into people that are thinking of that mindset and ultimately he'll, he'll, you know, have a number of followers that agree with him. And it's completely moronic, man. It's, it's evil and it's straight from the pit of hell. It's disgusting.
Yeah. And then you see, like Danica Patrick, who's praising God afterwards. You don't have to show it, Royce, but because I, I know that there may be some foul language underneath that post of hers, but she's, you know, she's praising God. She, she's thankful that maybe our children will be protected now. So how can you have such conflicting ideologies where, oh, now I have to protect my children because Trump's in office and oh, thank God, our children will be protected. But like you said, the enemy blinds the minds of unbelievers. And I don't want to say that you could spot out an unbeliever because they voted for Kamala or support a Kamala, but I, I, I don't know. I just don't know how a Christian, a born again Christian, which you're not really a Christian unless you've been born again of the spirit. How do you vote that way? And, and, but one thing that I don't want to get too wrapped up in is the world's going to be the world. Right? We can't get upset when the world is the world, that, that's what they're going to do, that's how they're going to react. Jimmy Kimmel the other night crying his eyes out because it was a, it was, it was a bad night for our children, for our, our low class, our middle class, our, our elders are this or that. The whole world is going to hell in a handbasket now because Trump's in office. It's just, it blows my mind. And then you got liberal guys like Steve Kerr. I used to like Steve Kerr back when he played with Michael Jordan, I used to like Steve Kerr, the little white guy who could shoot the three. And now every chance he gets, he is criticizing Trump, he's promoting liberal ideologies. But he took a little backhanded swipe at Trump the other night when he said, oh, I'm glad, you know, this was a fair election. Not like four years ago when all the hundreds of thousands of migrants who are raping our children came in and voted six times. So I'd hear Steve Kerr get out of here.
Right. Yeah. I mean, it, it's, I, now that this election has happened, it's never even been more clear that that is blatantly obvious, that if you look at the amount of voters from 2020 to 2016 to 2024. I know Graham talked about this at some point, at least in the past week. Just, it's like, or Todd, I think, even brought this up of just. There wasn't just miraculously 14 million voters that voted in 2020. We can just be real and put that thing to bed. It's been to bed for a while, but it's just even more truth that, you know, it's, it's frustrating. But, hey, onward we move, brother. We get to, we get to experience the next four years under more appropriate leadership. That is truly for the people. And I think it's going to be an incredible few years that we have, an incredible couple decades, I think really, truly believe over now again, now that we have the House in the Senate as well, and it's time for us to freaking get in the game and take action here.
Yeah. Amen.
That being said, dude, you got anything else?
No, just all those celebrities that said they're going to leave the country if Trump wins. I just hope they leave. That's all I have to say. Leave. That'll help make this country a little bit better, but it's going to be a great four years. But Christians don't, don't become complacent as things start to look better around you. And even those who aren't yet saved. Right. Maybe those who identify, quote, unquote, are Christians. Right? Those are the ones that are in the most dangerous place because they believe they're heaven bound, but they haven't been born again. They don't have the Holy Spirit within them. Let's not grow complacent. It could, it can and probably will get comfortable for us as a nation here over these next four years. And I, I feel like it started already just a couple days out from the election, just kind of this relief because there has been a measure of anxiety, like we're trusting God, we're believing in God. And like Pastor Rob said, no matter who wins the election, we're still going to go forth as the church. We're still going to do what we do. But that, that little bit of anxiety and that, that not knowing what's going to happen come election night, well, now we know. Now we know. So let's keep our foot on the gas. Let's continue to preach the word of God. If you don't go to a Bible teaching church, find a Bible teaching church. If your pastor is passive, if your church is passive, they don't want to be bold and outspoken. Guess what? I, I don't, I wouldn't say I'm naturally inclined to be bold and outspoken, but it's not me. I have the Holy Spirit living inside of me, so. And it's him that gives me the ability to do such. So guess what? If you have the Holy Spirit living, living inside of you, get out there, be bold. And now let's not, let's not cheer too much. We could cheer for sure. We, we could praise Jesus for the election results. But now all those on the other side side, not just the other side of the aisle, but the other side of salvation, let's win them over. It's about winning souls. Let's reach them with love and grace and mercy as God has bestowed upon us. Let's go get them onto the good side. And then, hey, come 20, 28, we know they'll be voting Republican by then, right? And you're frozen. All right. He's probably ready to put his fist through a screen.
You would think, you would think and hope, right?
Right. You're freezing. You're on and off. So, brother, I'm going to.
You close this out, dude, if you.
Can hear me, I'll close this out. And he's probably going to punch a wall at this point. But for everybody in the chat, thank you, guys. We love you. We thank you. We appreciate, we appreciate you joining us and hit us up if there's anything specific you want to talk about next week. Get on next week, jump in the chat. We'll talk about it, we'll rap about it, and we'll include you guys as much as possible. But with that said, praise Jesus. Thank you, God, for Trump winning this election. Matt. Now let's continue to do the work of the church. It'll be a little bit easier for us. Love you guys. Have a blessed one. See you next week.
