In this short dialogue, Speaker A and Speaker B discuss personal growth as a joyful, ongoing process rather than a destination measured by immediate results. Speaker A emphasizes that breaking old patterns can be uncomfortable but ultimately rewarding, urging listeners to focus on the journey, ask meaningful questions about purpose and contribution, and recognize that there is never a perfect moment to begin inner work. Speaker B expands on the idea that instant manifestation would make life boring, using the metaphor of a six‑pack to illustrate how the pursuit of transformation reveals deeper self‑knowledge and keeps life engaging. Both speakers advocate for embracing uncertainty, valuing the process, and using self‑inquiry to guide meaningful change.

doesn't have to be like, there will be times of discomfort, of course. And the kind of breakdowns of old patterns can be uncomfortable, but the process can be joyful. Then, like to your point, Phil, then it's less likely it's going to be like a, I'm succeeding or I'm failing. It's more like, oh, hey, we're having fun in the process. Maybe the outcome matters Like it doesn't not matter, because of course we all want to get somewhere, we all want to progress and grow, but there's a little bit less pressure on getting the six-pack or, you know, in my terms, the transformation, the feeling of ease. And it kind of comes a little bit more easily. But, you know, the other thing that came up for me when you said that was there's no right time. Like, you know, there's a lot of pressure on like, I'm not, things aren't really terrible, or I don't know, I'm not da da da da da. But there's no right time to do any of this work. Like to, again, to my point about kind of chapters, it's just, It's just what's here for you in the moment and unpacking it and unraveling it and looking at those fears and looking at those limiting beliefs. And then also asking those questions of like, what do I want? And what is the contribution I want to make? And what do I need to make that? So that when you come out, you've asked good questions and therefore you've got good answers. Wherever you are in your journey.
I think it's about any goal. Like I sometimes I think about like how boring it will be if manifestation was instant, right? Imagine like, I want a six pack, it's here. Like, oh, then what? Like I want da da da, then what? Like, you know, like the whole fun is the transformation is actually like, I want this. So what else do I need to do to, you know, have a six pack? And like, what do I need to stop doing to have a six pack? And then you get to know parts of yourself that you never met before. And if it was just like this, like, I don't know, it's just so boring. Sometimes I think we, we have a, just relating in a different way. Like we have a hard time with the unknown and we think that we want to know, but how boring.
