Short conversational video (two speakers) about balancing the nervous system, escaping autopilot routines, and deliberately doing new activities to increase presence, creativity, and nervous-system flexibility. Speakers recommend small everyday changes (different route, different seat, different coffee routine) and larger novel activities (language class, pottery, cooking, qigong) to activate new brain areas and enhance performance and connection.

My work is always around balancing the nervous system not only for performance and creativity, but also connection with the divine. And one of the challenges that we.
Face is we don't experience enough different things to notice how we react or respond. So a lot of times I have.
My nervous system pretty balanced and I can navigate between the fight or flight and the healing mode. But you're actually autopilot. Like, you do all the same stuff every day. You take the same route to work, brush your teeth in a certain way, prepare your coffee always in the same way. So we are not even aware. We are like, just doing stuff. And we don't know how we actually feel. Because maybe you drive to work and you get to work and you're like.
Oh, my gosh, I don't even know.
How the drive was because we're so, like, in your thoughts. And that's because a lot of things that we do is in autopilot. So my invitation for you, and it's really with the intention to bring awareness of who you are in every situation. Try to do some different things, maybe take a different path forward.
Maybe you could sit on a different place at your table, prepare your coffee in a different way. But most important than only the action itself. Notice your body when you do something that not good enough doing this way. Coffee, for example, how maybe you're gonna feel your heart in a different way. Maybe you're gonna feel a temperature change in your body or any sensation. Like, really, the invitation is to be present. And if you wanna expand that to when was the last time you did something different, like a new activity? Maybe learning a new language would be something. Going for pottery class or like a cooking class. Anything that is totally new for you.
Your brain starts to activate a lot of different areas because now you don't know what you're doing. You're opening yourself to learn. So even if it's not related to your business expansion and you decide to.
Do a quadravy class, it's activating areas in your brain that will actually help you also on your business, to expand your ability to think, to be able to balance your nervous system, to do something new and still be calm and relaxed, still focus on your creativity. So that's my message. This is pretty powerful. Begin with the small things and notice how you feel. And if you decide, maybe go for a greater experience. We'd love to hear from you. If you do that. It is powerful.
