Well, hello! Announcements. Yes, all kinds of announcements about things that are changing and happening, so stay tuned. Hey movers, it's Sally Koering Zimney with Be Moved. Let's go create and talks that will move this world. We're gonna talk with amazing speakers, share tips, tricks, resources, and we are going to be moved so that our audience can be moved. This moved me. What is moving you? Well, hello, my movers, and welcome back. It is so great to be with you, to be kind of Zooming into your ears. If you're working out, if you're, um, is anybody commuting, commuting to work? I don't know. I'm not. I am tucked in here at home. Distance learning is happening with my 3 kiddos, and 2 of them are with Grandma and Grandpa right now, so it It feels really quiet in my house and I'm loving it. I'm very happy about it. I'm not gonna lie. And I realized I've been so caught up in doing all these new things that I was like, I have— the system has been broken. So I don't know, I'm sure you know what this is like when you're trying something new, you're in experimentation mode and you're so focused on creating this new system that first of all, I like miss the old system so badly. I miss, I miss showing up with you weekly and the consistency. I had it down pat. And then of course, that's when I'm like, ready to try something new. Oh my gosh. But you know, for the last 4 or 5 years, I have had this podcast, my This Moved Me podcast, and I love it. I have learned so much from it. I've connected with so many amazing people. People on it and through it, and I cherish it, okay? And I just want to say right now, it's not going away. It's not going away. But essentially, what is shifting is I'm embracing video in my business in a really big way. I recognize its importance. I feel comfortable on it, which didn't— wasn't true even a few years ago. I mean, Truth be told, I started this podcast because I didn't feel comfortable on video, and I was like, ah, podcasts are cool because I don't have to show my face. And I say that like I have no problem showing my face on stage, but video felt different to me. Um, and that's really no longer true. It was a few years ago that I forced myself to start embracing video. And I've done video on and off throughout the years, but it felt like a real— I had to overcome myself to do it. It was like, oh, and I never watched it. I would do videos and then never, never watch them because I was like, oh my face, oh my whatever, fill in the blank, whatever I had a problem with that day. But in my embracing a video. I've been challenged by other people who've seen it and said, this is great, you're great on video, you need to do more video. And as a speaking coach, that is really the place I should be. And I, I always hesitate to use the word should, but, um, it makes more sense for me as a speaker coach to be on video. So what the This Moved Me podcast is going to be is the audio feed of my new videos. Now, I'll still probably hop in here and do some stuff like this where I'm just saying hi and it's me talking directly to you. In the future, what you're often going to hear is me talking to a camera and the audio feed of that. So I just want you to know that because it's going to change the way it feels and the way it sounds just a little bit. Now you're still going to be getting some powerful tips and stories and interviews. And before it was, I was focusing on the audio and there might be a video that went with it. And now it's core video content. And I'm pulling the audio to share with you here on this particular feed because if you prefer podcasts, and you prefer audio, you're still going to be able to get that content. Now I'm kind of opening up the hood to show you what's happening underneath because I know many of you are also content creators and often get curious that in this entrepreneurial journey, why we make the decisions that we make and how we end up where we end up. So I just want to share with you kind of what's underneath the hood on that so that you know what's going on. Okay, so that's the big announcement, is that I'm over on YouTube and I would love for you to find me over there. If you look up Be Moved by Sally Koering Zimney, you will find the YouTube channel and you can follow along right there. And/or you can also continue to let me settle into your head via audio. That sounded really weird, but I think you know what I mean. So that is announcement number 1. Announcement number 2 is for the next month and a half, I'm really focused on getting people into my new free Facebook group called Move Your Audience. Now I have been building community in all kinds of different places, but I'm really excited about this Facebook group because in it we're going to be doing essentially little free mini courses. In other words, a challenge. And the first challenge that we're gonna be doing is coming up in October, and it is about talk topic clarity. It's called Jumpstart Your Talk. And together we are going to get you from an idea like this arena, giant arena of thinking about a talk topic to getting clear on your talk topic. Now, it seems like a really minuscule little thing, but here's the deal. It is a challenge for everybody as they step into talk creation mode. Most people come to me and they have many talks in their talk instead of one talk in their talk, because there's so much we want to say and we want our talks to be heavy lifters, but we also need them to be clear so that we can establish ourselves as thought leaders around that idea, but also so that they're effective and our audiences walk away with one thing, one idea. And it is a bigger challenge than I think we assume going into it. And so I want to help us get there faster. And that's all leading up to the launch, um, of my Signature Talk Studio. It's a relaunch. We just finished up with a group in August, and I'm opening it up for another group coming in October, and it is— it was, it was amazing, you guys. It was so awesome, and I cannot wait to welcome a new group in. But one of the things that became really clear for me in that first round was that so many of my speakers got stuck in the talk topic part, in the ideation module, and I want to help you all take action. Whether or not you join me in the studio, I want to make sure that you take action and, and get your talks out into the world as quickly as possible. So that is the sec— wait, is that the third announcement? The second one? The second one's a Facebook group. Maybe the third, we'll make it the third, is the relaunch of the Signature Talk Studio coming in October. You'll hear more about that coming up, but just know that that's coming. Put that out on your radar. If you want to join the waitlist, I hope you will. It's at bmove.com/jointhestudio. And then to join the free Facebook group, you can just go to bmove.com/moveyouraudience and that'll take you directly there. It's a little easier than going into the abyss of Facebook. It's an abyss, we know this. We're gonna try and keep you focused while you're there and make sure it's really powerful. And it's gonna be super a lot of fun. I'm gonna be going live a lot there, be doing live streams there. We're gonna have— we're gonna do some Talk on the Talks where we do watch parties and talk about talks. That's why I'm calling them Talk Talks. We're gonna have some Talk Talks. I'm really excited about it. I love the community aspect of my work, and more and more I'm realizing that it's a highlight of what I do. So I'm excited to create community here in this new way with you, and I want to see you over there. It's free. And the last little announcement I have for you is that I created a new quiz. Now, I did one a few years ago, but this one is way better. It is way better. This one is really built on the nuances and the science around the Myers-Briggs. So I developed it alongside with my husband, who's a Myers-Briggs expert, and it really has been resonating with people, and I think is going to be a powerful way for you to get a little clearer for yourself on what your speaking superpower is. What is it that you bring to the table? And once you get the results, so you take the quiz, if you put in your email, I'll send you the results. Um, with a little more in-depth information on, um, what that really means and importantly, ways that you can dial up the notch and challenge yourself in new ways because each superpower has really powerful gifts, but also some challenges, of course. And I want us to lean into and embrace the gift side. That's really important. But also it makes it really clear the ways in which we can improve. So that's, I think, really exciting. So if you want to take that quiz, if you haven't yet, go to bmoov.com/speaking-superpower-quiz. Oh my gosh. So there's a lot happening, you guys. We've got the quiz, we've got the Facebook group, we've got the challenge coming up in October that will be happening in the Facebook group. We've got the new YouTube channel, but don't worry, I will still be showing up in your ears. I hope everybody is doing well. I'm so grateful for your connection, for you showing up and being here, and for allowing me to be a part of your speaking journey. This moved me, my friends. What is moving you? Tak soon!
