Hey everyone, Dr. Sarah Yovino here. Come see what it's like to get a medical-grade skin peel at Ideal Face and Body. First step is always to cleanse and make sure the skin is squeaky clean. In this instance, we will be using the Perfect Derma Peel, and I will be applying some Vaseline at the corners of the mouth to prevent the peel from leaking in and cracking the skin. Acetone is used as a degreaser to make sure the skin is nice and dry, and it allows deeper penetration of the peel. I will be using 2 peels, one for the face and one for the décolleté, which is the chest area. And here you see I am opening up the first peel. Once I am done with the full face and neck, then I will move on to the décolleté area. When I apply the peel, I apply it in layers. So I usually will do one full layer first, and I will push it in gently into the skin and make sure that all areas, all the way to the hairline, have been covered. I will be avoiding the corners of the mouth, going down the neck all the way to the base, And eventually around the eyes only on the third pass. Here you see I've already gone around the full face once. There I am. And now I will be starting on the décolleté area. I go all the way out to the shoulders as well. And I apply the peel in layers until all the peel has been placed onto the skin. We wait to let it dry, and then all the magic happens. Patients typically will start to peel on day 4 and 5, and the results are amazing, as you can see here. Patients are brighter, whiter, and tighter.
