Hi, I'm Dr. Sarah Yovino. What I love to do is lip augmentations. I really want to make sure that my patients are very comfortable. We do use 3 methods of numbing. One is ice, one is topical numbing cream, and the third one is dental blocks. I like to provide a dental block for my patients, which is a combination of local anesthetic and medicine that will help vasoconstriction to decrease bruising.
