What is unique about the cases that we do here, especially the liposculpture cases, the facelifts, as well as upper and lower eyelid surgeries, is that we provide it under IV sedation. What is unique about the IV sedation that I provide for these plastic surgery cases is that I taper it to the patient's wants and desires. Some patients want to be more alert for the cases, and some patients want to be more asleep. It's similar to, say, going to the dentist, and the dentist numbs the mouth, and then the patients at that point can only really feel the pressure of the actual procedure. It's very similar to that for these cases. So once the patient's very numb, some patients want to be alert, and some patients want to be a lot more asleep. So that is what's unique about this.
In my consultation with Dr. Yovino, he explained there would be very minimal bruising and that maybe you wouldn't be able to tell at all.

Well, it was true. I was back up on my feet. I didn't even need makeup to cover it up. Essentially, I went and walked my dog the next morning, and I'm vain, and I know all the neighbors, so it was really a great experience. And I didn't really have much pain.
So today we're going to be working on relaxing your face in the areas that you're concerned about. One area— frown for me really hard. So you see this area right here, it's very strong. It's causing some furrows, little folds in this area. We get this nice and relaxed, it's a little more inviting look. Raise your eyebrows for me. So here along the forehead, you have some lines that are coming across. We need to relax these so it gives you a smoother effect. And then your eyebrows here, close your eyes real tight for me.

You see how they come down real far? We want to relax the crow's feet, and at the same time, it allows us to get a little brow lift.
I just had a procedure with Dr. Yovino, Botox in my forehead as well as my crow's feet, and I didn't feel a thing, and I think I look great.
There's many components to facial rejuvenation. Some of the less invasive approaches include Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, fillers such as Voluma, Juvederm, Radiesse. Areas of typical treatment would be between the eyebrow here where Botox is placed to relax the frown lines as well as across the forehead and around the crow's feet to give a smoother appearance.
