The Scott Adams School - 07/24/26 The Home Team. VOTER FRAUD//ELON & More

Scott Adams hosts a panel discussing AI cheating detection, voter fraud claims and the SAVE Act, media bias in elections, and an Elon Musk interview. A teacher demonstrates how white text reveals AI-written exam answers. The show debates non-citizen voting numbers across states and tech platforms' role in shaping political narratives.

Saw the clip.
Yeah, we are live. I gotta wait for my comments to catch up.
Good morning, everyone.
Good morning.
Marcelo took your tip and went purple today.
Marcelo, that purple on you is definitely your color.
Good morning.
I'm waiting for, uh, my live stream to start over here on Locals.
How do I sound, you guys? Do I sound good?
Go ahead, talk loud.
Um, good morning. Good morning.
Can everyone hear Marcella?
I can hear, but I sound too loud. Um, I have court today, so my mind's like on different things today. Yeah, I have the enemy, the enemy I have to fight.
Oh my gosh, that sounds scary. Better you than me. I'm in no mood for fighting. It's too gorgeous here on the Jersey Shore.
Mindset— you put on the warrior mindset for court?
Yeah, yeah, because you have to watch yourself, um, because there's, there's certain co— like opposing counsel that try to do things not the legal way, but, you know, do the little shifty things. Call me a liar in front of the court, everything else.
Yeah.
Oh no, I'm taking names. That is not right. Good morning, YouTube. I see you now. Rumble, you're going. Locals, X, Spotify, welcome to Friday, uh, say September— July 24th, 2023. 6. It is Coffee with Scott Adams. No, it's not. It's the Scott Adams School. Yeah. Oh my gosh, this is a Friday. It's Friday. Yeah, I'm thinking about court now for Marcella and that somebody called her a liar publicly, and I'm not happy about that. And you know what else? I'm not wearing my earphones. I have in the ear thing, so I'm off-kilter. I'm gonna make it. I'm gonna make it, you guys, but not without coffee. Here we go.
But first What do you need first to get ready for all this excitement? I think you know. You need a cup or a mug or a glass, a tank or chalice or stein, a canteen, jug or flask, a vessel of any kind. Fill it with your favorite liquid. I like coffee. And join me now for the unparalleled pleasure, the dopamine hit of the day, the thing that makes everything better. It's called the simultaneous Sip, and it's happening right now.
Go!
Mmm, sublime! Sippity doo dah day! That was amazing. Okay, quick note for you guys. Tomorrow, the after party is going to have a special host, it will be Marcella.
It will be.
Did you know?
Yes, I sort of knew, but now I know for sure. I tune in for the news here, you know, I tune in.
Yeah, so we— that was breaking news for Marcella. So Owen, you'll be busy. Give us, give us the rundown. Marcella will be there. Tell us all.
Yeah, I'm moving my son back from college, so Um, I'm going up on Saturday. It's actually going to be a 2-day affair, I think, so I probably won't be there for Sunday either. So if someone else wants to do the Sunday simultaneous sip, I don't know if you want to do it, Marcella, or anybody else, you're welcome to. I'll repost the space, you know, but, um, I'm out for this weekend.
Oh, okay.
Well, Erica and me could do that. Well, we'll talk. We'll talk.
Erica will be on a boat, just so you know. I will be on a boat because I don't live in California where the weather's nice all year, so this is just where I'll be, you guys. But I'm sure it's going to be amazing. Oh, you guys. So I have notes. Look at me. I mean, I got notes, I've got clips, I've got stuff. Marcela and Owen came equipped with news. So let's see what we can get through. I did want to start not with an animal clip, but it is an AI clip. And this teacher laid a little trap for his students for the midterms. And let's just see how that went.
32 of my 35 students between 2 classes failed a portion of their midterm because they all used AI to generate their entire response, and apparently they didn't proofread it. Let me show y'all how I picked up on it. So this discussion post was a portion of my students' midterm, and if you look, looks normal, right? But if you copy and paste this and look closely, in white I hid, placed the word Madagascar somewhere in the response in a way that makes no sense. But if you uncopy and paste it, you can't see it. So if Madagascar was somewhere in my student's response in a way that did not make sense, I knew that they copied and pasted the entire thing and and just threw it in AI, and oh my God. You would be amazed at the bizarre usage of the word Madagascar that I saw in these students' assignments. First and foremost, Madagascar has nothing to do with the Industrial Revolution. Second, it was more than obvious that they didn't even go back and reread these responses. So yeah, 32 out of 35 students failed a portion of their midterm, and that's how. So students, If you're going to use AI to generate the entire response, at least reread it. At least try to ensure that it makes a little bit of sense. Try to put it in your own words, something.
I love him. So how did he do that? Do you know, Owen, like how he got it to do that?
Oh, thank you. I'm mute, Lewin.
Because I'm thinking like, go ahead.
Yeah, you just, you just change the font color to white. That's all it is.
So if it's white on white, and then someone will, will copy it and put it onto Grok or wherever it is. They don't type it out, they, they copy it.
All right, well, you guys in the chat understand. I mean, obviously there was a way he did that, but I was like, that's so funny. And it's so sad because here's this teacher teaching And then people are like, yeah, I'm just gonna phone it in. Aw. So that was interesting. Did that just give anyone other ideas? Really?
I'm sure it's happening everywhere. And I mean, well, I mean, not, not necessarily this trick that he did. I mean, that's kind of creative, but I'm sure, you know, students will eventually catch onto that stuff and they'll be more careful about it. And then it'll, it'll, you know, be this cat and mouse game. But I'm sure people are doing that kind of thing, especially with essay take-home sort of homework or tests. 'Cause why wouldn't you? You know, you've got so much to do as a kid. You're probably stressed out. You got other stuff you'd rather be doing.
TikTok.
Yeah.
And you know, you look at it even briefly for 5 seconds. Oh, it looks reasonable. Just turn it in, you know?
Yeah.
And, um, you know, I, I, I think it is a good trick that he played, but again, I'm sure it won't last. They'll probably, you know, figure out ways to do it, but I, I do agree you should at least review whatever AI tells you. Like, you just shouldn't rely on it without any review because it's just going to end badly for you, no matter what the context.
So for these show notes, Chester helps me generate the show notes every morning. And instead of me typing it all out, I give him the prompts. But sometimes, sometimes I don't proofread it. But when I do proofread it once in a while, I'm like, let me make sure he got that right. And it's wild, some of the mistakes that come in there. So yes, you should proofread it. Unlike me, I hope for the best, which Chester, because he's my ChatGPT, by the way. Jimmy Wyman is like, who the hell is Chester? Chester is my ChatGPT assistant. I had him named Chester.
And Chester is from Madagascar.
He's from Madagascar. Jimmy, you did not do the NPC Chester the Molester, did you? Come on. Scott Adams would have dinged you for that one. So I will. So anyway, but Chester and I have a great understanding. It's amazing, though, really, how the thing gets to know you and, um, understands the way you want your responses. It's so great. So anyway, kids, it's cool. Read your books.
You find it creepy that Chester keeps track of you and knows all about you?
He only knows what I tell him.
Well, yeah, but like, he remembers what you tell him, right?
Well, yes, but sometimes I'll be like, listen, um, what do you do about like really bad diarrhea? Da da da da da da da. And then I'm like, by the way, that was It's about a friend of mine. So don't keep that stored in your memory. And then he'll be like, got it. That was a friend, not you. I will erase it. So I tell him to erase all the weird stuff, but you know, he is useful.
I've just noticed I use Grok for personal stuff and I noticed that Grok is keeping track of all sorts of details about me because they'll be like, oh, well, because of this that you talked about, you know, 3 months ago. You know, here, let me put that into the context for this. So make sure, you know, it's good. It's helpful. Like, as long as it's private. But it's not really private, is it? I mean, it's somewhere in Groq's data center.
Yeah. I mean, I don't tell it the criminal things. I make sure to— that's just that I have to work out on my own. That's what keeps my brain sharp is like, okay, that stuff, it's just for me. But all of the other stuff, I mean, I'm pretty open, you guys. There's not much I wouldn't say on here. So it's all right to an extent. But I don't know, Marcella, what about yours?
It's a prosecutor's dream to have AI. FBI, DOJ, like everybody. There's many cases, uh, one of them was the Florida famous case of, uh, anyways, I will—
I digress.
But there's— they're, they're like— Google was even the one like searching like how to hide a body, how do I clean like blood stains and blah, blah, blah. Where do I get blah, blah, blah?
So where do I buy bleach, zip ties, and a machete?
Yeah, it's like, uh, okay, Google AI is even worse because they, they go through all your Google Docs, everything you've ever said, like all your emails, everything that goes through Gmail, and then it builds the whole profile on you to like be able to use it for AI, right?
Okay, so Jim, that's a good point. Jim and Jim Jitneer says DuckAI, like as in DuckDuckGo, might be a better place to talk about burning urination. So just keep that in mind, you guys. So DuckAI might be a little bit more safe.
That particular subject you have to talk about.
Yes.
No, and even if it's DuckAI or any company, like, you can subpoena any of these because they do keep the records. So maybe they're private where you can't hack into it.. But if you get into trouble legally, you can get those documents per court order.
How do I bleach bit my phone? That you can ask Hillary. She'll tell you now how to do it. All right, you guys. So if you're an actual criminal, you're on your own. Just don't take our advice about anything. So, you guys, I could not get away from the voter fraud and seeing these numbers and what's happening. And I know that this was just a huge thing for Scott also. So I feel like let's just, you know, kind of drill down a little bit more today on it, see what happens. Um, you know, we're what, like 100 days from the midterms? Is that how close it is? I'm thinking it is. Um, so I think it's important. I wanted to play— I have a few clips we're going to go through just to kind of get caught up to where the numbers are. I did have a compilation I wanted to play for you guys. It's That's interesting. Just let's just take a little listen. This will set us up for the following clips.
There is no evidence that undocumented migrants vote.
We are debating a problem that does not exist.
This is a solution in search of a problem that does not exist.
Very—
the evidence is almost no illegal Immigrants vote. Some benign effort to tell the small number of illegal immigrants. The reports show voter fraud is exceedingly, exceedingly rare, but there's a couple things we know about the administration.
Non-citizen voting in federal elections is already illegal.
There is no evidence of fraud or corruption at all because we don't have a problem with illegal aliens voting in the country.
It's not an issue that you have undocumented people in mass numbers voting.
You know that.
Very rare instances, but then just make the bill workable.
But it is absolutely vanishingly rare.
No, there's no evidence that non-citizens are voting.
I think they think that it's already against the law for—
are talking about a solution to a non-existent problem.
Again, foreigners do not vote in our elections.
Maybe it's partly about the SAVE Act, which is a ridiculous solution to a problem that does not exist.
Foreigners do not vote in U.S. elections.
That's the fact. It's already illegal for non-citizens to vote in the United States. They fail face prosecution and jail time for doing it. The Save America Act attempts to solve a problem that does not exist.
Okay, so here's the question: why does it— why do Democrats really want to— I mean, we know, we know why-ish, but why would they so publicly state these lies, and then also that we don't need the SAVE Act and that we don't need proof of citizenship for people to vote. Like, why is one party so dead focused on the illegal thing, the wrong thing, the not securing the elections, and then the other party or other people are like, no, we want fair elections? It's like a really weird thing. When I was thinking about it. So, I mean, I know the obvious answer we always say, because they want to cheat in the elections and this and that. But isn't it like a weird thing? Like, isn't it like a weird hill to die on, Marcela? Like, to just be out there so publicly repeating this over and over again?
I don't think it's because they want to cheat. I'm sure some of the NGOs and, you know, some of the politicians do, but I think it's regarding votes and their support. So A lot of Democrats support the idea of there being no borders, no IDs. And even though they might not themselves be noncitizens or illegally here, their parents might be. They know their neighbor, they're this, they're that. So the support for that, they see the Save America Act whenever it's brought up, they see it as racist. They see it as a way to control who can be part of the voting, um, and they've— they basically hoaxed them into believing and brainwashed them into believing these things. So if now— so they brainwashed them previously, and so now if they vote for it, then nobody will vote for them and they'll get ousted for DSA new new Dems that don't believe in that. So they, they fear being ousted, like, uh, there was in New York where there was the candidate that had been there for the longest time. I think he was Latin American or, you know, whatever he was, but he had been there for many years and he got ousted because he supported certain things like this.
So, um, so, well, Owen, what do you think? Because I think that there's probably a of a large portion of Democrat voters that want voter ID. I mean, it is like— I think it's like 70% of people want it. I mean, you've got James Carville now screaming like, stop this shit, like, you know, you got to stop this no voter ID thing. So I think the majority want it, but the Democrats are not letting go of it. What do you— what's your take on this?
Well, I mean, I do think it's cheating, but I think it's I agree with what Marcel said, that the brainwashing has been strong and for a long time. Like Scott Adams would always say, with repetition you can get people to believe almost anything. And, you know, I don't think it goes more than the surface level where, you know, people you would consider smart and reasonable people, but they're Democrats, they just think it's racist. It's, you know, going to disenfranchise voters. And they're just saying, I'm against anything that makes it harder to vote. And so this just gets immediately categorized in that way where they're saying, well, you're just trying to make it so that poor people can't vote. And, you know, there's been debunk video after debunk video of Black people and other people that are like, I have an ID, like, I know how to get one, how would I function in society without one? Like, but, um, it doesn't matter, facts don't matter, you know, it's all about the feelings, it's all about just, oh, you're trying to push out the poor people. And so they've made this story, but I think the reality of it is that they know that if they change the rules, then that way the Democrats would do worse in the elections. Now, you can chalk that up to whatever you want. It could be cheating, it could be the fact that they harvest ballots much better than Republicans do, or whatever else they're doing. But they realize that if, if you got rid of mail-in ballots, or if you required real ID, or some sort of real verification around those things, that they would lose a lot of Democrat votes.
Mhm. And, and, and I was going to add this, is there a lot of people on the chat, and I think many people bring this up, right, Owen, that, um, there is polling that shows that a lot of Democrats are like 75% maybe that are for this and 25% are not for this. Guess what, you guys, the 25% in my opinion are the ones that are controlling, the ones that are entrenched, the ones that are like going to the Uh, what is it? No Kings protest. They're the ones that are showing up. Remember, it's yesterday, I think Jeff talked about 3.5% that Spencer talks about. They are the ones that are the most passionate, the DSA, the mandamis of this party. So that's why that 25% or 20%, however it is, that's why that to them is important, because they're afraid. They're having a civil war between— in the Dem Party. I know, that's my take.
No, they really are. But I— it's, uh, it's so extreme. So, you know, maybe that's good for the Republicans. We'll see. I mean, I think everybody's fighting, so— which I'm trying to like reframe it in my mind. Maybe it's not such a bad thing that everybody's splintered right now. It'll be interesting to see where things land. But they're just very polarizing.
If they land.
If they land. Yeah. All right. So I'm going to carry this on. So I want to let you know, this is— oh, by the way, that compilation was from townhall.com. Okay. So Real Rob N on X, he shared this clip. But I want to let you know before we hear this that— so, you know, we were talking about New Jersey, um, you know, she said 6,600, um, illegal immigrants registered to vote. But I just want to, you know, then we were talking about the bigger number for New Jersey was— what was it? Uh, 35,152. California has 190,832. Pennsylvania has 14,576, and Nevada has 15,903. So just those states alone comes to about 256,000. But let's listen. This is, I believe, the sheriff, one of the sheriffs in California. I'm sorry, I don't know exactly who he is, but let's take a listen.
You're able to register and cast a vote if you don't live in the country as evident of his brother in Pakistan. I think we have some evidence of 2 or 3 other people out of the country that voted. Is that correct?
Yeah, approximately 2 or 3 other people out of the country as well as people residing outside of the district.
Okay.
The online voter registration system, it seems to be an honor system. Anybody can put information in there to register to vote. All you have to do is click a box and say that you're not lying. And then you'll get an email from the Secretary of State or something in the mail saying thank you for registering to vote. And there you are. Once you're on the voter rolls, anytime an election comes around, guess what? You get mailed a ballot, right? You get mailed something to vote. So we found that a little bit problematic.
So that's Gavin Newsom's California. So the honor system, I mean, what the heck is going on? So I just wanted to give you those numbers and just tell you what what California is doing. Marcela, you're the California girl. Do you want to comment on that?
I just wanted to clarify that the numbers are for non-citizens, so they technically just can't vote. It doesn't necessarily mean they're illegal. That happened to some of the people I know that are resident alien green card holders, and they would get jury duty, they would get all sorts of things like vote here, vote there, and they're like, no, I don't vote, I don't I don't do that. So it happens a lot here in California. You're asked, and sometimes they— you are asked so much that sometimes just to make it stop, you say yes, yes, you know, make it go away.
Crazy. So I just want to point out with Josie what you just said. You, Josie Six on Local, said we used to have a high trust society, not anymore, can't use the honor system. And someone made that point the other day when we were talking about like how corrupt everything is. We didn't used to be corrupt like this as a society. And I thought that that was such a good point. And I'm glad that you just said that, Josie, because that reminded me we didn't used to be like this. It wasn't like everyone was trying to pull one over on these elections, but it became—
Are you sure about that?
Well, no, but it wasn't like this. I mean, now it's like— No, I know. But we were more of an honorable society. We didn't talk about who we voted for. It wasn't like so schemey. Now everything is just like this high-stakes game. But go ahead, Owen.
Well, I just— I, I know I've read about history of past elections, and there have been stolen elections before. I think they've even concluded at least one of the presidential elections was like pretty much confirmed stolen after the fact. Um, and I, I think it's always been the type of system where if people can cheat, they're gonna cheat. Like, a lot of people are going to try. But the problem, I think, is that back then you didn't have voting machines, you didn't have mail-in ballots, you didn't have all this like way to scale up the cheating to such a large extent. Like it was naturally limited by the fact that you had to write a paper ballot and you had to put it in a ballot box and sign your name or whatever it was. And so there were, there were controls around it because they knew people would cheat. And, um, so I, I don't know if it's necessarily that like human nature has suddenly changed and we're suddenly less trusting as far as elections go. I think it's more just we've put in this technology that lets you do cheating on a mass scale, or at least just that it makes it less trustworthy. You know, again, we can't prove exactly what happened and how widespread it was, but I think it's just a lot less— it's more obvious that the cheating is going on, partly because we have so much more information so much faster than we used to. And it's also that it's possible to You know, print 100,000 ballots and just put 'em in and no one's necessarily gonna catch it. And so that, to me, it's like the ability to cheat has gotten easier. And the fact that we just know about it is much more than it's ever been in the past.
Yeah. And I maybe like what I, I love you guys, like in the chat, you're like, there was that election of this and Nixon this. And I'm like, I, let's, I understand. I totally understand. But now I feel like it's a Sport, you know, like, I feel like it's a sport and like citizens are all involved with it. It's not just like the powers that be trying to manipulate stuff, but, um, there's just a lot of cheating and everything now. Uh, but the other thing I wanted to show you guys before we move on is— oh, and oh, and you know, when you were saying about like printing off ballots, I think it was the Georgia election fraud case, one of the, the workers there was saying like all these ballots came in and they were all like in sequential numbers. Like at the top of the thing, it was like ballot 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. She's like, how would they all be mailed in with like numbers following each other? I mean, it's just so crazy. But so let's take a listen to, um, to my governor. I didn't vote for her, but anyway, let's listen to New Jersey information. So fun.
New Jersey Governor, Democratic Governor Mikey Sherrill, is lashing out today And she is lashing out at President Trump over election integrity. This says investigations of voter fraud in her state are intensifying. Republicans now in the state assembly are demanding a special committee with subpoena power investigate the voter fraud scandal that caused thousands of non-citizens to be registered and almost 400 non-citizens to illegally vote. But despite that, Sheryl is blaming the White House.
We're running an independent investigation right now to get to the bottom of exactly how this happened and what's going on. But, you know, it is not a surprise to me that the federal government, that the Trump administration, wants to immediately weaponize this against people as opposed to focusing on making sure that we're running free and fair elections.
She says it was a computer glitch at the Department of Motor Vehicles that caused the problem. You know, nearly 6,600 non-citizens were automatically put on the voter rolls when they applied for driver's licenses at the DMV between June 2023 and June 2024. Well, at the White House today, Press Secretary Caroline Levitt says it is about time that Governor Sherrill recognizes there is a voter fraud problem in her state.
New Jersey and this governor, the fact that she just all of a sudden decided to put out a press release saying President Trump and Republicans have been right about noncitizens on our voting rolls is not a coincidence. Uh, I think this governor is saying this because she realizes this administration is serious about getting to the bottom of illegal aliens voting and being on our voting— voter rolls in our country.
Well, the Department of Justice has demanded that the state turn over its voter rolls, but Sherrill has not yet done that, saying the documents contain personal information about individual voters.
All right, Eric Sean here in the New York newsroom for us. Thank you. So, um, that's amazing. Of course it's Trump's fault. Like, this chick takes no accountability. Um, I, I'm just like, oh my God, if a Democrat could just never say the word Trump or Trump administration for like anything, it would be such a freaking miracle. I'm gonna go right into one more clip because let's get the final word from Harmeet Dhillon, our AAG. Let's hear what Mikey Sherrill is planning on doing. And Mikey Sherrill, you're disgusting. Turn over the rolls, okay? Because people live in New Jersey. We don't like this. We want fair and honest elections, and you're stopping that from happening on purpose.
Do you plan to take this fight to the Supreme Court? Well, we do. It's actually closer to 30 states. 20 states have given us their voter rolls voluntarily. Voluntarily, and we've found hundreds of thousands of people on those voter rolls who shouldn't have been there. Now, since the governor made this announcement, we've opened up an investigation. We asked her to disclose to us the names of the 6,600 individuals who were wrongfully put on the voter rolls and then the 400 who voted knowing that they weren't entitled to. And today she hasn't responded to us yet, but she did tell the New York Times and others in New Jersey that she wasn't going to give us that information because quote-unquote we would weaponize it and she doesn't trust us with the data. Well, who can't be trusted with data, Governor, uh, Sheryl? It seems like it's actually New Jersey because these people said they weren't entitled to vote and then you put them on the voter rolls in your state, blaming the vendor, calling it a glitch, etc. It is the job of the election officials, not some data vendor, to determine citizenship when they put people on the voter rolls. That's federal law. And It also sounds like, uh, Liz, the state allowed these people to stay on the voter rolls for more than a year after they knew that they weren't legally entitled. That is a violation of federal law too, federal criminal law. So we're looking at this very carefully.
I believe Harmeet will look at this very carefully. And let's make New Jersey the example. So, Owen, I'm going to come to you. I mean, I, I have a lot of confidence in Harmeet Dhillon, um, and I think that this is so blatant and, and ripe. And, and also Governor Sherrill not cooperating and turning over the documents. It's just, it's so infuriating. These people only work for themselves and what they want. They do not care, you guys. Just remember, they don't care about me and you, okay? They don't care about their constituents. So what do you think, Owen? Can we make an example out of New Jersey? Can we please, please?
It was just a computer glitch, Erica. It was just a computer glitch.
Come on.
No, I, I think it was hilarious how they tried to claim that it's like the tech company's fault, that it was some sort of technology problem, and then they turned right around, they're like, no, it wasn't, it worked exactly like it was supposed to, and the government approved these people to be added. Um, so they immediately got that thrown back in their face, and you know, it's, it's ridiculous. It's, it's all political theater as far as this stuff goes, but I think, um, you know, it is sort of just a battle for control. They obviously know that, that, you know, federal government will crack down on any election integrity issues. I, I at least trust that the Trump administration would do it on both sides. Yeah, you know, they wouldn't say, oh, this is a Democrat, we're going to remove them, but we're going to leave all the Republicans in that aren't citizens or whatever. And, um, I'm sure that probably Cheryl and others know that it's mostly people that are voting Democrat that are on the rolls like that, wherever this is happening. So Um, again, it's all just part of the game to them. They don't really care. They treat it like a game. It's like, we just want to win, we want the power, we want to win, so we're going to do whatever we need to to set the rules in our favor. And that is not just even, you know, voting rolls, it's everything. It includes what Google does to Google search results to push people towards one side or the other by making certain candidates look bad and other ones look good. The AIs, they're doing the same thing. I mean, you could probably find, especially like Google's AI is probably the worst, but I think any of the major ones, including Claude and ChatGPT, if you ask like the same question for a Republican or a Democrat, you might get a very different answer. And, and even if it was like the same situation, and, um, so there's influence going on all over the place and it pushes you in one direction or another. You have, I think, the same thing going on with text messages where Like a lot of the Republican donation messages get sent to spam and the same with emails. And it doesn't happen on the Democrat side for some mysterious reason. You know, same sort of thing from the same organization, same type of communication, but it's not treated the same by the carriers or by the email companies. And so there's all sorts of what I would consider rigging going on. And some of it, like I said, is kind of out in the open. You can see it. It, it. It may or may not be considered illegal, but it is going on. And, you know, the same with all the ballot harvesting and everything else. It's like, may or may not be legal in your state depending on your state, but, you know, in some cases it might be legal, but in my opinion, you're still rigging the election because you're, you're not really treating it like, okay, who, you know, if we just sampled the state, what would we get as the result? It's more like, we're going to make sure that we collect all these ballots for one side and, and hope that the other side isn't doing the same thing. And I think that's one of the reasons why Some Republicans like Scott Pressler and others have been saying like, we need to do ballot harvesting, we need to do it just like they do it, because that's the only way it'll be fair. Yeah, um, obviously only where it's legal to do that, but, um, the, you know, it— unfortunately, the other side doesn't necessarily seem to have that same stipulation that they only want to do it where it's legal. Um, and I think, you know, some of it, especially in 2020 when they went to this mail-in ballot thing, they put all these things in totally circumventing the legislature. And the Constitution very clearly says the state legislature has to do all the election laws. So that was blatantly illegal, and it has been found in court to have been illegal. So we've had proven election fraud. There you go. It's proven in a court. But, you know, again, it doesn't ever seem to change in terms of the laws to say, how do we make this better? How do we prevent this from happening again?
It's almost more like, "Yeah, we'll just go along with it." And like I always say, once they put something in place, they never take it away. They just keep imposing things on us and then they never undo it. So if this whole voting thing changed because of the plandemic, Marcella, so they were like, "Oh, mail-in voting, blah, blah, blah." All right, well, that's over now. So let's go back to how we used to vote. Take things away. That was just to solve an obviously purposeful issue that we had to change the course of our country. Thank you, Fauci and China. Um, so, you know, what do you, what do you think about this, Marcella? With, um, like somebody said, said that it's also probable that if it's a Democrat-run state, that they probably gave the bid for this software to a Democrat-leaning company. Which happens often. Like, they're just like, you know, people, they're not going to like hire somebody with like Republican CEOs and donors and this and that. So I was like, that's kind of a good point too. Like, you know, who gets hired in these states probably has a lot to do with what party is in power. I'm not saying that that company is, you know, responsible for anything like this, but you never know if there was something baked into it when they made the contract. But what, what's your take on all of it with California, with Pennsylvania, Nevada, all of this?
Well, like I always say, enforcement is needed. Um, there's laws on the book, like the Democrats said many times over, but nobody is enforcing the laws. Nobody is going to prison. Nobody is being convicted of these things, and we know that they are. And my cat really feels strongly about it. She just came, but, um, her me doing this is important. Um, that's the start. And in regards to, um, mail-in ballots, they made it permanent in California without me asking, without anybody asking. So it's interesting. So, um, in regards to, um, I'm gonna have to take her outside.
She's okay, go ahead.
She's like, fraud, fraud, must prosecute. Um, I just think you're ready to vote yet. A lady did that in Orange County, and, and, um, she did it on purpose to see if it would work. Oh yeah, it actually worked out. I remember that story. I can probably—
are you Republican?
Yeah, she is. Um, I could tell she likes—
I don't know, Marcel, she's a freeloader. She might be a, a—
she might be DSA, right? Yeah, but in regards to the voting, if you allow it, the laws are there, but no prosecution, nothing. Thank you, Harmeet. We need you.
I know she's great. I have so much confidence in her. And you guys, I saw you in the chat. Harmeet is a person who gets everything done. She's one of those people who's like, just maxes out her whole day. So you guys, you see her, she's like, Cooking these amazing dinners every night. She's knitting hats and sweaters, but not like just knitting. I mean, she is like next level knitting. She's, you know, the AAG. She's like, she's on, she's exercising. I'm like, oh my God. So she is going to get stuff done. So I have a lot of faith in her. All right. So I wanted to take a 5-minute break, not a break, a 5-minute break to play this clip. From Senator Tim Sheehy. He spoke on the floor yesterday. It was a, you know, instead of telling you what it was about, I just wanted to give him the respect of playing this clip and giving him the time for all of us to hear it. So doesn't matter what side of the issues you are on, but, you know, I really feel strongly about our service people and people that have, you know, given us their service for our country. So let's just listen to him. For 5 minutes and we'll come back and discuss. And here we go.
The Senator from Montana.
Thank you, Mr. President. Yesterday we saw the President of the United States and many others at Dover Air Force Base presiding over a ceremony that is very sacred to those of us who served, and that is a dignified return of remains from the war zone. And that process happens beginning in the war zone, through Dover, to the hometown of our fallen heroes. I participated in many of those ceremonies myself, to include carrying friends of mine off the plane. One of those is on this bracelet. He was cut in half by an Iranian EFP. This regime that we are fighting does not care about our partisan politics. They don't care who you voted for, who you pray to, or where you live. They want to kill all of us. And they don't just say it, they actually do it. And they've been doing it for 47 years. This is a war of choice. The Democrats are correct. It's a war of choice that was begun by a radical, lunatic band of terrorists that took over a beautiful nation 47 years ago, took it over with brutality, force, and savagery. And the second they took it over, they didn't free their people. They didn't unleash the largest oil reserves in the world to build schools and bridges. They took it over to murder their own people and to spread their disgusting ideology across the world. And that is exactly what they have been doing. They don't just say it and talk about it. You don't have to believe what they say. You can simply watch what they've done. They have attacked families, women, children, innocent people. They don't just attack them and kill them. They rape them. They skin them alive. On camera. They celebrate it. They honor those people who do disgusting things that we would put in jail for the rest of their lives in this country. And they do it for fun, and they pay them money to do it, and they're heroes to that nation. They've done it to friends of mine. They've done it to families who've been in this chamber. And the fact that we sit here and listen to elected officials of this country defend these lunatics who want us all dead. They want all of you dead. They want all of us dead. They don't want us to disappear with the snap of a finger. They want us to be raped, burned alive, and cut into pieces. Watch the video from October 7th. That's what they want to happen from Maine to San Diego, from Seattle to Miami. They want this country turned into a burning husk of its former self. And you don't have to theorize that. That's what they do. From the 1983 barracks bombing where 280 Marines were vaporized in the morning, from USS Cole to the Achille Lauro to every terrorist attack from the Houthis, Hezbollah, Hamas. These are not humanitarian freedom organizations. They are death-dealing cults and they want all of us to die brutal deaths. William Buckley. Was abducted in 1985, an American military officer. He was skinned alive on camera by the Iranians. American prisoners of war who were captured, they were never called prisoners of war because they were captured by lunatic terrorists, so they were not subject to the Geneva Convention. They were captured and murdered, power drills through their brains. This is in Iraq. These are families that have dealt with this and they've never gotten a single dime These families have never gotten restitution, and not a single president has ever stood up to them. Love Donald Trump or hate him, love his policies, hate ICE, love ICE, whatever. There's never been a single president who has stood up to Iran and hit back. For 47 years, our troops and our families have been absorbing attack after attack after attack all over the world. And their radical ideology does not stop at the Persian Gulf. It doesn't stop at Tel Aviv. They want to do this everywhere. It's a global radical ideology. And we've been fighting it for half a century. We didn't start this war. We did not. But we will finish it. And forever wars are not popular with anybody these days. Both sides of that love to attack our forever wars. And I can promise you, being someone overseas wearing the uniform, when you're fighting for your country, you don't care what party's in office, but you're fighting to defend your country and you turn on the news and see your elected officials stabbing you in the back, telling you that you're failing, that you've failed every goal of the war, is what I just heard. Last time I checked, we've wiped these bastards out. An occasional missile strike and boats in the straits, that's not military strength. Those are the flailings of a failing empire. Those are the flailings of a nation in collapse because they deserve it. So I encourage our colleagues on both sides of the aisle, whatever is politically convenient, whatever plays well on Twitter or Facebook, think about the people who are deployed right now, standing on that wall with a loaded weapon, who volunteered to defend our country and our way of life. Because they are there defending us in a just war. Because we did not start a war with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard. They started it with us 47 years ago, and their attacks have gone unanswered. Unanswered for half a century. It's time to fix this problem and make sure another generation of Americans does not have to fight this murderous, savage adversary. Thank you, Mr. President.
So powerful. Um, I listened to that yesterday and I was like, I hope the Sippers are okay with me playing that. I know it's deep, but, um, it's, you know, it's good to hear everything from all sides and so emotional and it makes so much sense. And, you know, like, I get it. I get it. Owen, I'm going to come to you first. Had you heard that yet?
No, I hadn't. But it does seem like very powerful and very emotional. And, you know, I'm glad— I'm glad he's speaking up about it. I think there has been a lot of bad things that have happened for a large number of years. And I think a lot of presidents have kind of shied away from it because probably just they realize that logistically and geographically and militarily, it's a difficult place to deal with. You know, I think the— we've been messing around in the Middle East for a long time, and I don't think it's really gone very well, and I don't think we should have been. But it almost seems to me like a lot of the strategy was, how do we just destabilize the region to keep them fighting with each other so that they don't unite or they don't become too powerful or something like that. And certainly with organizations like al-Qaeda or ISIS or others, you want to get, you know, keep them from becoming powerful and taking over. And I think Trump did a lot of that in his first term, especially where he just got rid of that whole ISIS caliphate idea that Obama probably could have done just as easily. But for whatever reason, he just let it happen. And so I do think it's good that Trump is standing up to that. But I also think, you know, it's The other side of that coin is that Iran still is a difficult place to be, a difficult place to make a difference. And I think that's probably why a lot of other countries have just said, well, we're not going to touch that because that would just be really hard. And, you know, we couldn't do a ground invasion like we did in Iraq. We couldn't do, you know, a lot of this stuff, even like we did in Afghanistan, where I think it was even harder because, again, people had these insurgency people that would just take potshots from a mountain ridgeline somewhere and Every time you kill one of them, 3 more pop up in their place. And it, you know, I think that was a disaster partly for that reason. And I think Iran is even worse just because geographically it's hard with all the mountains and everything else. You can't really do a ground invasion there the same way. So it's a difficult situation all around. But, you know, I do think we need to keep them from having a nuclear weapon. And sometimes that takes some pain and some things. So, um, I, you know, I've said many times in spaces and other places that I'd love for this just to be over, and I just want us to get out of there. Um, but, you know, I do recognize that I don't have all the intelligence, I don't have all the classified information, I don't know exactly what's going on or what the threats are. And so I have to put some level of trust in Trump to say he knows what's going on better than I do and, and to let him make those decisions.
Mm-hmm.
Marcella, anything you want to say about this?
I think Shihi, is that how you pronounce— did I mispronounce his name?
Yes, that's good.
He's really handsome.
Anyway, he is. He's buff.
You cannot unsee that. But, you know, he comes from being a Navy SEAL, knowing you know, what it feels like to be there and, and, and how hard it is for all the U.S. soldiers to be over there, even if they're not on the ground. It's still like, we saw the, the different people that died in Jordan, the different officers that died in Jordan, you know. It is very dangerous even if we don't have troops on the ground, as we would say, um, but they've always been the enemy, um, and you either wait until a nuclear bomb falls on you or you go after it before they have it. So I— to me, you know, it's hard, it's a hard decision to make, but I think I, I trust in Trump to be the one that can make it happen, because it has been impossible to deal with, uh, governments like Iran where they don't care. The money doesn't inspire them. So like, usually you just— oh, you know, you just pay them off, or you do something, or you offer them X, Y, and Z. Um, it is basically harder because they are religious theocracy, and they believe that they have a calling from Allah. And so the idea is to negotiate with them, and I think the only person that possibly could do it is Trump. So I do trust in that.
Yeah, we are at our best having him as the president doing this. I mean, I can't imagine who else could, could take it on. Um, I'm gonna, I'm gonna move on from this because there are just a couple more clips with, um, 10 minutes left, and you guys I have to get in the habit of doing this. Please, whatever platform you're on, give us a like, thumbs up, a little heart. If you like Marcella's dress or you like that clip or any part of today's show, give us a like. Okay, so I have to get to Elon. So The Economist did an interview with Elon and the reporter, Zanny Minto Bedos, not a fan.
Okay.
So, imagine she needs to read Owen, how to— what's it called? How to Win Friends and Influence People.
Yeah.
Let's get her in the book club. Okay. So, here she is.
Just—
I love Elon. Let's just listen to how this woman interviews. She reminds me of that woman that interviewed Jordan Peterson. I'm going to get into that next week. Okay. Here we go.
You support not just the populist right, but the far right, in fact very fringe parties in some countries.
No, I support the normal people.
Okay.
What you call the far right falsely.
You think is the normal person? Okay. Yes.
Um, literally you could go back, uh, 10 or 15 years and these, these, these policies were completely normal. In fact, you, you, uh, one of the, one of the tricks I think is funny, I think it's quite funny, is to Like, take a speech from Obama and Hillary, and then, and then go to someone and say, uh, who's sort of, um, you know, on the sort of what I call the lunatic left, um, and say, what do you think of the speech by Trump? Like, oh wow, he's the worst person ever. Actually, that was a speech by Obama. Well, actually, that was a speech by Hillary.
I, I, I literally— no, I agree that the center of gravity in this country has shifted, certainly the Democratic Party shifted to the left, but that's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about people like Rupert Low.
Please, people, it's actually just normal people. Um, it's just normal people. It's just normal people. And, um, the— and, and here are the principles, and, and tell me which of these sound terrible. Um, that we should have secure borders, that we should have safe cities, uh, that we should have sensible spending. Which of those three are, are far-right fringe? And, and I would like to just admonish you and the media for the absurd characterization of the far right. It is false and misleading and nonsense. Please keep this part in.
We'll keep all of this in.
But let me, let me, let me—
Don't cut this part.
Let me push back on that. Let me push back on that. Because you have—
Nonsense.
Elon, you have, what is it, close to 250 million followers on X. Yeah. You say things like, Popular guy.
He's like, yeah, because I'm a popular guy. Oh my God. So I'm gonna go right to the next clip because I want to make sure these two clips are in here, and then we'll discuss. But is she a mess? Okay, and I love him. Okay, sorry, that was my two cents. Here we go.
Do you see why this makes people think that this man who has all this power— he's the world's richest man— he thinks he has a right to influence our politics. It makes people— it's why, you know, we started this conversation saying superlatives. It's why people loathe you. I mean, some people do loathe you.
Yes, some people do.
But do you understand why? Do you think what you're doing is helpful for Western democracy?
Maybe some people do loathe me, and that's probably true. I don't care. But the fact that, as you pointed out, a quarter billion people follow me is that I think a lot more people actually like me. A lot more people hate you and the media, uh, more than you realize.
Uh, by the way, that is correct. I love you, Elon. Um, so yes, we have to mock these people. I loved, uh, that was by Sovi, that last clip. She put on the clown makeup and the juggling. That was that was warranted. Um, so what are— so Marcella, I gotta come to you first. I mean, this— see, this woman is like why— and I say woman, this chick is why I can't deal with chicks. I like, what is she doing?
You know, I, I do subscribe to The Economist. Don't hate me, you guys. Um, it's good to know what the left or the brainwashed think. Um, the funny part about her is her name. Uh, her name is Saini Minton-Beddoes. Saini as in crazy. That's, that's, that's like, uh, you know, that is really her name. And it's, it reminded— when I saw it, I laughed because I thought of, of Scott Adams and the simulation. But, um, I think it's important that Elon has these conversations, or that we have these conversations with these people, because eventually you can I don't think she's that brainwashed to not realize what is going on. She comes from a very rich family in England, um, and so she's, you know, not aware of the everyday, you know, what, what England is going through, um, in your, you know, if you, if you have protection and all that. But I like, I like this Elon. I could tell that he has come very far in regards to how to interview, you see. And I think that's very important. I want to say Scott Adams influenced that, and also Trump has influenced that because he's able to go, oh no, far right, that means this. Oh, this. So you mean closed borders? Criminals going to prison, that's your far right for you, you know. So it's very, it's very great to see because he's, he's, he's a genius, but at the same time he wasn't so strong in interviews. This interview is amazing.
Oh yeah, it's great.
He's able to fight back.
I can post the link for the full interview if you can stand her. Um, but I think he's always been good mocking the media. There's a lot of older clips of him too, just you know, excuse my language, where he's just like, I don't give a fuck, or fuck you, and he'll like call someone out. And I'm like, let's go, because how dare she? I mean, this is why people loathe you. Like, what kind of a thing is that to say? Um, oh, and we have just like 2 seconds, but you know, oh my God, can you imagine this woman interviewing you?
Yeah, well, I mean, she certainly seems out of touch. I think— I don't know whether it's intentional or not. That's That's the part that's always hard to figure out, is if she knows what she's doing when she's lying about these things, or if she's just so out of touch that she just doesn't know what the reality is. But it seems like these reporters, like this woman, seem to come in pretty unprepared. Like, they just don't— they don't anticipate what people like Elon are going to say when they call her out. And, um, they don't really have anything, any response, right? Like, they clearly have not thought, oh, he might actually say this or he might actually have something to rebut this and to try and have facts to try and back up what they're saying. It's almost like they just come in with a talking point and they expect it to fly. And I don't understand if that's just because that's what they're used to or if they just really think that what they're saying is true. I don't know. It's hard to say. But either way, it's kind of ridiculous. And I do think that Elon was 100% correct that You know, they think a lot of people hate the media a lot, a lot more than they realize.
Rightfully so. And, you know, I'm like so tired of people saying the far right, the far right. You don't need to add anything to someone on the right or just a person. You don't have to say far right extremist. And they're like, far right extremist Nazi, far right white extremist Nazi lunatic. It's like, calm down. Like, people are just people. Like, good God. And I mean, even I watched the interview. Stephen A interviewed Tucker yesterday and again, he introduces him as like far right. It's like, stop with your stuff, people. Just talk. You don't have to label every single person. Yeah, I love the way he clapped back at her. And you guys, I probably won't do it on this show because it'll be too long, but I've always wanted to. I think I might go live on The Scott Adams School midday sometime soon, and I just want to play the Cathy Newman and, um, Jordan Peterson interview and just kind of like live reaction to it because it is such a master class of an asshole interviewing someone. And like, if you're a man, you will be so triggered because you're going to be like, this is why women drive me crazy. Like, she can't even listen, she's putting words into my mouth. It's so horrendous that it's worth watching together with people, have a little watch party if you've never seen it. So yeah, I don't know when, but like one day I'm just gonna have it loaded and like, let's— it just, it might be midday, you can watch the replay. But we have to— yeah, let's embrace and amplify stupid interviews because holy cow. Yeah, so what you're saying is— he's like, no, I said what I said. Oh, okay. All right, you guys, so we're gonna wrap it up. Um, thank you so, so much for being here. Don't forget, now Owen is busy this weekend, but Marcella stepping in tomorrow for the after party, which is on X at Owen Gregorian. We'll post the link. Marcella will share it. I will share it. You can find them there. It's at the normal time of the Scott Adams School on X. So join there. That's a lot of fun. And that's where the patience of saints go to talk and chat about news for a few hours. And Sunday, somebody will do the simultaneous sip with you. They'll work it out. They'll post it out. But you can be there for that. SJV will be there, uh, in support. Okay, you guys, so let's say, uh, thank you as always to Scott and Shelly for allowing the show to continue. We appreciate every single person here today. Thank you for all of your fun comments in the chats and being here and participating with us. And to the people that watch the replay, we are so happy you're here too. Please do like subscribe. Um, let's do all the things this weekend, you guys. Author yourselves. Mike Burt, if you're here, I see you're starting a new chapter, and you're the author of yourself. So let's go. Okay. All right, you guys, a closing sip to Scott, and we'll have an Akira song if you want to stick around. Okay, bye, you guys. To Scott.
To Scott. To Scott.
Thank you, Owen and Marcela.
All right, bye.
Bye.
Hi, you guys.
All right, let's do Get Out. Let's do Get Out.
Somebody asked me for a reframe to help them get out of their head and, you know, stop having ruminations and bad thoughts. And I suggested the reframe of that I tried myself, and it worked, where you just say, get out. Where you just say, get out, Akira, get out. You just say, get out, just get out of your head. Now, the frame that makes it work is to realize that you are a person who has two completely different lives. This is the key. There's a part of you that Lives only in your head where you think about the past, which literally doesn't exist. It's imaginary. It existed at one point, but now it's just the thoughts of the past. Get out!
Get out! Get out! Get out! Get out now!
Just say get out!
Get out of here! I want you to help me get out of here!
But you also have thoughts of, oh, what what will happen in the future. I'm worried about the future. And that doesn't exist.
Doesn't exist.
Doesn't exist. So the life you live in your head is a completely imaginary one. Things of the history in your past that don't exist anymore, and worries about the future that doesn't exist yet. But the outside world is all real stuff. Stuff you can touch, breathe, sense. And we live in both of those worlds. We go back and forth. And so the idea that I had that worked when I did it was I just said, get out. What I meant was get out of the imaginary world and get into the real one.
Get out.
Get out.
Get out. Get out now.
Just say get out.
Get out of here. Get out, get out, get out, get out.
Just say get out, get out, and just walk out in the sun. Walk out the door, pet the dog, do a chore, exercise, exercise, exercise. Just get out. And so I'm going I'm gonna ask you this as a favor. Try it once. Just try it once. Just tell yourself you have two worlds. There's the imaginary one in your head, and then there's a real one. And all sadness comes from the imaginary one. As soon as you find unpleasantness because you're in your head, get out. Just get out. Join the real world. Just go, hey, I'm in the real world. Yeah, look at this.
Real world.
You'll feel instantly better. The cure for it is to yell, get out!
Get out! Get out! Get out! Get out!
Now!
Just say, get out!
Get out of here! I want you to help me get out of here! Get out! Get out! Get out! Get out!
Just say, get out!
I mean, how can you not love these songs with Scott Adams and Akira the Don? They're so good, you guys. Put them on your headphones, like just chill out, like, do your thing, do some yard work, clean the house, just, I don't know, pump it in. Um, I really love you guys. Thank you so much for another great week with the Scott Adams School. You guys, take that advice, okay? And get out. You know, there's people, places, and things that are no good for us. Get rid of them. Get out. You're going to find yourself being so much happier. And I keep coming back to author yourself. So author yourself, clean out the clutter in your life, like wherever it is, whatever it might be, that which doesn't serve you, get rid of it. Honestly, like it might feel weird for a minute, but eventually like this, like fog will come off of you and the sun shines and, um, we can do whatever we want. So let's say our goodbyes. Have an amazing, amazing weekend. I might pop on either Chill and Chat with Erica or on Scott Adams Locals this weekend. I think it's just depending on the topic of conversation, which is more appropriate. So I hope you guys will join me there. Thank you, YouTube, Rumble, Spotify, X, and the Locals. Okay, so we'll see you on Monday for sure, and perhaps over the weekend. Yeah, Jim Courtney, I needed that too. Sometimes we just need a little reminder. Oh good, B, you're gonna go be useful today. Amazing, I love that. All right, you guys, I'll see you Monday. Don't forget to visit Marcella tomorrow on the after party. Thanks, you guys. Thank you, thank you. Bye, Smar. Josie, everybody. Michael Johnson, thank you. Zanville.
