The Scott Adams School - 07/28/26 The Home Team. Diary Entries and Mumbling Tapes.

In this July 28, 2026 episode of The Scott Adams School, hosts Erica, Owen, and Marcela (Marcella) converse with Scott Adams and play a series of audio clips from public figures. The discussion weaves together multiple political narratives: the release of Dr. Anthony Fauci’s diary and his upcoming congressional testimony, allegations of Fauci’s misconduct and the legal implications of his pardon; claims that COVID‑19 originated from a Chinese lab leak supported by a new Energy Department/FBI report and debates over gain‑of‑function research; speculation about Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s health, Kentucky’s special‑election law, and the political calculus of leaving a Senate seat vacant. The hosts examine newly released Biden tapes showing the former president’s handling of classified documents and discuss the auto‑pen pardon controversy. They then shift to Megyn Kelly and Catherine Herridge clips alleging Chinese blackmail, FBI intelligence suppression, and a shadow‑government influencing policy. A Lara Logan segment warns of a “stolen” midterm election and a permanent power transfer. Interspersed is a viral lifeguard rescue video used to praise masculine bravery, and Scott Adams delivers his trademark “simultaneous sip” and a motivational monologue about using personal despair to find freedom. The episode ends with the hosts urging listeners to vote, watch the midterms, and stay engaged, while maintaining a conversational, conspiratorial, and often hostile tone toward mainstream media and political elites.

Good morning, everyone.
Good morning, good morning, good morning. Let's see, let me get the comments going over here. I totally understand what Scott Adams was doing every time I start the show. Here they are. Good Tuesday morning to y'all. Y'all, I don't know where I just came from. That Jersey accent. Owen and Marcella, how are you today?
It's Tuesday.
Tuesday is my favorite day of the week.
How are you? And did you get sleep?
I got a couple hours on the plane and a couple hours after that, so I'm doing great.
Owen's on location at an undisclosed bunker, so in enemy territory. We don't even know where he is. Um, so welcome in everybody. It is Tuesday, July 28th. Oh my gosh, we're inching closer to August, and don't ask me how many days are in this month, because I still don't know. Um, anyway, we have a fun show planned for you. Well, I don't know if it's fun, but it'll be informative. And, uh, let's go grab a sip with our beloved Scott, because we need it.
And the other thing that'll make you safe is a simultaneous sip. And all you need is a cup or a margarita glass, a tank or chalice, or stein, a canteen, jug, or flask, a vessel of any kind. Fill it with your favorite liquid. I like coffee. And join me now for the unparalleled pleasure of the dopa beans of the day. The thing that makes everything better. Except maybe California. It's called the simultaneous sip and a happy snout go.
Mmm.
Yeah, I can, I can feel the temperatures starting to ease. There's a low-pressure system coming in from the east. Yeah, I think things are getting better.
All right, California. So, Marcela, is the weather better in California?
Um, it's, it's, yeah, I guess there's no rain.
Okay.
It's always hot.
Always hot, sunny.
So that's a pelt. Yeah, that's a pelt.
Um, Marcela actually had to remind me. So Marcela, what is happening this morning just so we are all aware?
So as the, uh, your reporter in the beat, uh, we have unfortunately, you know, Lindsey Graham passed away, as we all know. Um, so his funeral services are today and tomorrow. Um, the services right now are underway today in Washington, DC. There's a US Capitol Rotunda. He is going to have a ceremony and a short tribute there. And that will last a little bit. The ceremony is closed to the public but can be viewed on, uh, it's being livestreamed to the public. And Vice President JD Vance is there, Senate Majority Leader, uh, Trump is expected, um, your favorite, Vivina Tenajo, is here, and Zelensky is here, as well as many other dignitaries.
My two favorites.
Your two favorites, so much fun to sit next to them. And Washington National Cathedral is having, uh, invitation-only funeral at 2 PM Eastern, um, and you probably can watch it on Fox News and many, uh, you know, or CNN or whatever you pick. But President Trump is supposed to be there and he's supposed to deliver remarks regarding his friend.
Okay, thanks, Marcella. I like, I knew and I forgot and she reminded me and I was like, oh my God, yes, that's today. So if you're interested in viewing it, you can livestream, watch it somewhere. Okay, so I asked yesterday, where is Mitch McConnell? But seriously, where is he? And so, you know, there was another one of those photos from the hospital and they slipped with the camera angle. Did you guys see this? There he is with his wife. Oh, oh, oh. So I don't know where he is. I don't know. But, um, people are speculating. And so what were we saying? We were talking about this last night. So I felt like they're trying to wait it out past the point where they could put in another senator, right, Marcella? Is, is that what we were chatting about?
Yeah, I'm, um, that's what we're chatting about and, and what would happen if he was to resign now. And we figured out, via Grok, uh, that in Kentucky the, the governor is no longer able to pick the, uh, the candidate, but it's a special election. However, it's never been tested because it's new law in 2024. And I think, um, Owen had a theory about that, why they haven't done it.
Owen, what's your theory?
Well, I was originally thinking that it was the governor, and a bunch of people had explained that to me the past couple weeks when I would bring this up. And they would say, oh, the governor is a Democrat, so they don't want to let a Democrat appoint a senator. And when you explain this other theory or this other law to me, is that, um, You know, in that case, Bashir would probably do the opposite. He would probably just not do the special election. That's— we've seen that over and over again. Like, I think Whitmer did that with the special election, and a bunch of Democrats have been like, well, we're just not gonna fill that seat. Oh, it's gonna take a long time. But then magically, whenever there's a Democrat that needs to be replaced or would be replaced, like, because it's a, you know, blue state, they do it as quickly as possible. Like, it's, you know, 30 days, we're having a special election, let's get it done. And So it's pretty transparent that they play games with these things. And I think you told me that the law was it has to be at least 63 days out or something, which already gets us close to November when the real election would happen. I know the seat wouldn't actually get filled until January, but I'm guessing that either way, you know, it would just remain an empty seat. So it wouldn't really be any different than right now, I don't think. And, uh, you know, I, I think my conspiracy theory is they could also just sort of keep Mitch around for the Ruth Bader Ginsburg, uh, procedure. You know, you remember she had pancreatic cancer, but she was somehow ruling from the hospital bed. Nobody saw her, of course. There was nothing ever really proven about what was going on with her. And, you know, magically, her pancreatic cancer that usually kills people pretty quickly was— you know, she was doing really well, lasting years. And then eventually she died. But, um, you know, I don't know. I, you know, I don't have anything against her personally and I don't know what happened, but I'm guessing that politicians do what politicians do and they're gonna play whatever games they can to benefit their side.
Yeah. Yep. You're right. I agree. I think a lot of us agree with that. All right, so we'll see. And you know who else is doing remarkably well with cancer is Joe Biden. I'm just saying. I'm just saying. Okay. I want, you know, you guys, I never, I always go to that suckers and losers line. I never want us to be out in the world and someone's talking about something and you're like, what? I didn't see it. So, I just have a scary yet happy video to play for you. Have you guys ever been in the ocean and had a struggle session where you're like, oh my God, I can't get back in the rip current, something's happening. I mean, you know how difficult it is. And let's just watch this video. And I want you to keep in mind, this is in Santa Cruz, and this lifeguard is 16 years old, and he found a struggling kid who was out there, I guess, like boogie boarding. And let's just watch this. This is incredible. He never, never lets go of this kid. He knows not to let go of him and hand him off to anyone else either, because, you know, God only knows what could happen. He's trained. Look at those waves. That's Insane. Everyone else is like, shit, we're getting out of here. I mean, why is this kid in there is like everybody's question, Right, 7-foot facers in Malibu. Wow, I'm reading the chat. How exhausting. So The other lifeguards come in and eventually they get him completely to safety. Oh my gosh. I saw Eric Trump had reposted it and said, you know, that this, this guy needs a medal. So maybe President Trump will make that happen. But this young boy is alive today thanks to these men and that 16-year-old lifeguard. Bravo. Bravo. Wow. And you know what? Shout out to you men everywhere. I'm telling you, men are the first ones to go running in. I mean, men, men are the first ones to go running in and, you know, band together to save somebody or, you know, whatever it is. The bravery is amazing. So amazing, you guys. What did you guys think about that? Owen and Marcela? Owen, did you see that? No, you're just seeing that now, right?
I saw part of it. Yeah, it is incredible. And he's certainly a hero. And it looks like he was well trained. I mean, he looked like whenever the wave was coming, he knew to get underneath it and like he just had the procedure down. So, you know, bravo to everybody who trained people to do those sorts of things and for the people to have the courage to do it. I mean, that is really dangerous no matter who you are, no matter what shape you're in. The sea is a very dangerous place and it doesn't care about you and it will kill you.
And, uh, he's like— think about the 16-year-olds, you know? You know what I mean? Most of the ones I know are a little bit like, um, but Marcella, don't you love this kid?
Yeah, I mean, it's pretty normal that this happens, but I, um, I don't go to the ocean, you guys. This is why.
Yeah.
And thank goodness that he was there, and then the other people were actually there Um, they're all heroes, especially the ones that aren't even lifeguards. Did you see? They're just like, I don't know what I'm doing, but I'm gonna go save you.
Yes, I know. Oh my gosh. Yes, Erica likes men. You're right.
The ocean.
Yeah, no, mad respect for the ocean. I've had quite a few scary experiences.
So I think there is just something instinctual in men that they, they would love to be a hero if if the situation presented itself where they could jump in and save somebody, most men would want to do that. Now, you know, not everybody does, and, and sometimes it is, you know, more dangerous than someone's willing to take on. And I don't necessarily blame somebody for, you know, self-preservation, but I do think there's just this instinct that if a man says, you know, there's somebody in danger and I can help, they want to help. And, and I think it is a great attribute of a lot of men, at least, to say they would step in and risk their own life to save someone else.
Just like we see a lot of women instinctively running to children that need help or, you know, that kind of a thing. It's because we're just, uh, different guys. Not to say women and men can't do those opposite things, but it's just built in you. It's nature. Um, yeah, so that was great. I just love that. I mean, I, I'm amazed that a 16-year-old was just that brave and strong and calm.
Calm.
All right, so you guys, as we all know, Bookish says bravery is sexy. I concur. So as you know, we were talking about the— that Fauci tomorrow is going to be in front of Congress. And so they had released— Rand Paul had released like, I think it was like 400 or 600 pages of stuff from his computer, from Fauci's computer. And, you know, they're really happy that people are digging through it because they don't have time to like comb every single bit of it. But I don't know if you guys know Grabian. I think the account is called Grabian, but they're great at making compilation clips. And I really feel like it's important because we try to put it all out of our head. But now when we're like, he should be accountable and whatever, it's like, let's just kind of remember what we're talking about and what happened. It's pretty remarkable. Gonna have to give you some Fauci clips today, and then we're gonna get on to another subject. But let's get through these. So here's the first compilation from Grabian. Let's take a look back and remember who we're talking about.
But they're really criticizing science because I represent science. If you're vaccinated, you really don't need to worry about getting it in a way that's serious or transmitting. That is true. That is correct, Chris. It'll either protect you completely against infection, and the chances are very likely that you'll not be able to transmit it to other people. The risk is extremely low of transmitting it to anybody else, full stop. Vaccinated people are clearly capable of transmitting the infection. When you're in the middle of an outbreak, wearing a mask might make people feel feel a little bit better. If people are not wearing masks, then maybe we should be mandating it. I often myself wear two masks.
And I'm quoting you now, "At the population level, masks work at the margins, maybe 10%." To hear that they only work at the margins, maybe 10%, would make a lot of people ask, "Okay, then why was I wearing a mask?" You're really attacking not only Dr.
Anthony Fauci, you're attacking science. When you say that this is gonna go away tomorrow like magic, when you know that there's no chance it's gonna just disappear. We hope this just goes away, burns itself out.
So my question is, why weren't you straight with the American people about this to begin with?
So the bottom line is, it's a guesstimate. I gave a range.
It seemed in that quote to suggest that you were basing your recommendation on polling and what people could accept. Is that not what you meant?
No, I mean, it's a bit of that.
We're seeing all of these school closures around the country. Is that the right move for children and families?
Yeah, I mean, I think what's going on right now is, is it generally an appropriate approach? You want to start doing something to socially distance yourself. How dramatic that is, closing schools and doing other things, should be proportionate. But it went too far. That particularly for kids, uh, who couldn't go to school except remotely, that it's forever damaged them. Well, I don't think it's forever irreparably damaged anyone.
The U.S. Surgeon General has called it an urgent public health crisis, a devastating decline in the mental health of kids across the country. According to the CDC, the rates of suicide, self-harm, anxiety, and depression are up among adolescents.
And the record will show, Neil, that we didn't recommend shutting everything down. First of all, I didn't recommend locking anything down. I recommended to the president that we shut the country down, um, and that was a very difficult decision because I knew it would have serious economic consequences, which it did.
Yeah.
Because if you look at the people people that are politicizing me, there's somebody that all the way over on one level, but there are a lot of other people who look upon me the way they should as a non-political person that I am. They're not doing it because they say they don't want to do it. They're Republicans, they don't like to be told what to do, and we got to break that. But now is the time to do what you're told. Where did this virus come from, do you think, today? Did it come from a lab? Was it man-made? When you have the animal-human interface and you have animals that come out of the wild that are sold at these open— what they call them— wet markets.
Place of origin was not within the market itself.
No, I don't think you could say that.
There's a report today that another intelligence arm of the U.S. government— this is inside our Energy Department, has joined the FBI in concluding that COVID began with a lab leak in China.
That the NIH has not ever and does not now fund gain-of-function research in the Wuhan Institute.
We now know that a bat coronavirus was enhanced in a lab. The National Institutes of Health acknowledged that it funded research of a virus that was studied at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. The experiment unexpectedly, we're told, made a bat coronavirus more contagious than the original naturally occurring one. Take an animal virus and you increase its transmissibility to humans?
Right.
You're saying that's not gain of function?
Yeah, that is correct. And, and Senator Paul, you do not know what you are talking about, quite frankly, and I want to say that officially. You do not know what you are talking about.
They took animal viruses that only occur in animals and they increased their transmissibility to humans.
How you can say that is not gain of fun— It is not. What we're talking about now is the gain of function research in studies that increase predominantly the transmissibility as well as pathogenesis and alteration of host range of the virus. Nobody's lying here, Senator.
It is you.
I'd have to laugh at that. I should be prosecuted.
Hmm. Yes, yes, you should. Um, you know, it's so amazing, the hindsight, right? Watching him now, uh, like looking back on him now and knowing what a liar he is. Oh shoot, hang on. What a liar this guy is. Um, the amount of deaths and destruction and permanent damage and injury that he caused. And yes, somebody, Andy Wang reminded us, don't forget about him with the AIDS epidemic. And he did the same thing, stoked fear. This guy is, there's like, I hope you're okay that I did that retrospective because I feel like we needed to really remember. Like we have our own memories tucked away, But I enjoyed seeing that so I can fully remember the timeline, all the lies, all the people that were in on it. And by the way, Dr. Birx— is that her name, Dr. Birx? Same thing. The same fate should be for her and for every other person that went along with it, except for Scott Atlas, Dr. Scott Atlas, who was trying to, um, rail against them and was shunned and all that. But So Marcela, was this like a crazy walk down memory lane for you? And doesn't it just gear you up to be like, let's go Rand Paul, like go get him?
If anybody needs to be prosecuted, it needs to be Fauci. Um, I mean, that's why the pardon, right? Because he would have been prosecuted. And so the interesting part we talked about yesterday, um, you asked me in regards to the law. So with the pardon by, by President Biden, or the auto pen, however you want to put um, when he's asked questions about the past that cover— that were covered by the pardon, he's not able to take the Fifth. And that comes from, um, a case from 1896, uh, from the Supreme Court. So Brown v. Walker. So it's been— it's precedent for a long time. And that— why that is, is because if you have been pardoned, then you cannot serve prison for anything related to that. So the Fifth Amendment is for you to not self-incriminate. So technically, he's not supposed to take the Fifth because he doesn't need it, because anything he says cannot be prosecuted. However, it doesn't cover false statements. As we know, um, any new statements that he makes, and then we go back to the record and they're lies, um, false, uh, we can, uh, he can be prosecuted. I say we, I, I mean the United States. So it'll be very interesting what he does, what his lawyers do. Um, he could indicate that the question's not relevant. Uh, he could indicate privacy issues. Uh, if so, not to answer, but he's gonna have to actually be truthful. Because if he's not, and if we catch him not being truthful, I want to see him prosecuted.
Yeah. I mean, at minimum, you know, and this happens tomorrow, you guys.
This happens tomorrow.
Yeah, this happens tomorrow. So, uh, you know, Owen, I just, um, I have a few more clips I want to play about this, but you know, just that retrospective. I know you said to me before the show like, oh my God, it's like pulling me right back in. And yeah, I just, I feel like we're living through a dark comedy.
It's like You know, if someone said, let me, you know, do this dark comedy about a serial killer who kills millions of people and is laughing through the whole thing and is saying the most ridiculous things and lying constantly, like, it's just, it's like hard to believe this is reality that we lived through this. And I, I think I and a lot of people knew he was lying at the time. Like, we knew that this was all deception and that it was destructive and that it was killing people and it was harming our children and it was keeping people from even being able to see their relatives. And, you know, a lot of relatives ended up— like, older people died alone because they couldn't be with their family. I mean, it just— you go on and on and on with all the damage caused by this one man. This one man did all this. And the— on top of that, you know, this diary is kind of an extension of what we already knew. Like, we had the pictures of his office where he has massive portraits of himself and bobbleheads of himself and all these things. Like, he's just the cartoon version of a narcissist. And this 1,000 or however many pages of diary show that he's a complete, just like the most narcissistic person you could imagine.
But like worse. It's like worse than narcissistic. It's like maniacal, sociopathic behavior that like nobody would write in their diary the things he's writing. It's, it's so bizarre.
And yet he was the highest paid government employee. He has all kinds of secret royalties he gets from the drug companies. He, you know, got his whole government pension. He's like just living out, living his best life at this point. Got his pardon so he won't be punished. Like, it's just, it's outrageous and ridiculous at the same time.
It is.
Don't forget, he wasn't alone. The mainstream media was part of that, uh, you know, that message being pushed out. Anybody that would say otherwise would be canceled. You know, we're thankful that Elon, uh, acquired Twitter and that became X, and but a lot of us were canceled on Facebook, were canceled everywhere because we wanted to speak out and we couldn't.
Yes. And so yesterday, if you remember, I played the clip of all the people you need to hate in the media that were like bumbling fools over this man, and he was forming relationships with them and putting it in his diary. I'm so glad Vigilant Fox captured this clip. I saw this— I was watching Megyn Kelly yesterday with, um, Victor David Hanson, and they were talking about the diaries, and this was the exact clip I wanted you guys to here, and Vigilant Fox grabbed it. So listen, listen to this and just picture Jake Tapper every time you would see him nodding along. And, uh, like, just— here we go. This is, um, interesting.
He writes, had dinner over at Jake Tapper and Jen Tapper's home in DC. Terrific couple. Friendship building.
Again, so weird.
When in your life, Victor, you and I got to know each other, were you running home putting down in your diary, was I friendship building?
No, that normal people don't behave like that unless they're users, right? Which clearly he was.
Then Tapper, the most revealing aspect of these pages, writes the Rand Paul team, are how Fauci worked with compliant journalists to shape media narratives. On July 26th, 2020, while watching the Assistant Secretary for Health and a fellow member of the White House task force be interviewed on CNN's State of the Union, Fauci writes that the, uh, Assistant Secretary for Health was talking bullshit about testing with Jake pressing him. Quote, I gave Jake some questions to ask him.
And then Tapper and he were making fun of Laura Ingraham of Fox News.
They were.
After my Laura Ingraham hit, Jake Tapper texted me saying sarcastically, quote, Hard to believe Laura Ingraham went to Dartmouth, isn't it? All of us alumni are very proud.
What the hell? He's— this is a federal official whom he should be cross-examining and pressing and cynical of and pessimistic about.
That's what you get paid to do. Not chum chum. We Dartmouth alum can't stand Laura Ingraham.
All of it is so stomach turning. Oh, it's so stomach turning. Like, he's like, they're a great couple forming friendships. Like, why? What are you doing? And so there's like a term out in LA and it's called he's a star effer. Um, star effer is like a real term of people that just want to gain clout and, and be with the famous people and It's disgusting. And it was obvious that's what he was doing. I already deleted a clip I pulled for you guys. Just imagine Julia Roberts wanted to talk to Fauci and he came on to her little podcast thing. And as soon as he sat down, she lit up like a Christmas tree. She gasped, oh my God, I can't believe it. Yeah. She was like, oh my God, you're my hero. You're my hero. And he's like, oh, and then he intentionally calls her Um, Mrs. Robertson, like, you know, he's trying to play it off like he doesn't know it's Roberts. Okay, sure, chummy. Um, so you can't hate these people enough, but this is just gonna trigger the Laura Ingraham, um, clip for me. Can you imagine? Like, they're, they're ranking out Laura Ingraham, and like, then he would be on Laura's show, and you just know what he thought of all of us. So let's go to this, and then, Owen, you respond after this clip. He was given a pardon prospectively from the last administration.
We don't know if it was an auto pen pardon.
It doesn't really matter for legality purposes.
But Americans want to know, a lot of them, is there going to be any accountability for trillions of dollars lost, children's education destroyed, and public health reputation— public health industry reputation shattered?
Yeah, and millions of people injured. You know, that he lied about masks, he lied about social distancing, he lied about the transmission, he lied about natural immunity, he lied about the capacity, as you just said, of the vaccine to prevent infection. He got vaccinated, a very, very public press conference in January of 2020, and then 5 months later He had— and this is the first time that we knew this from the diary— he had a pulmonary infarction, which is one of the adverse events that NIH, CDC, and FDA said are expected from the vaccine. He never told anybody. He got treated for it privately by the best doctors in America at the same time he was telling everybody that that was not an adverse event.
He was given a pardon. Prospectively, could, could you just die right now? So he got the vaccine, Owen, and 5 months later had a pulmonary problem.
I just don't know how this could be any worse than it is. Like, it's like if you try to write a novel and said, how extreme can we make this type of story? I don't know that you could approach it if you tried to do it as fiction. Like, it's just beyond fiction at this point. That, you know, how much harm this man has caused, how many people have died because of him, how many people have had their lives damaged, their finances damaged. Like, I mean, the whole picture of the economy we're in right now, affordability, everything, it all traces back to the pandemic and it all traces back to him shutting down the economy and coming up with these arbitrary rules that were not based in science. They were not based on all the knowledge we had. I said this years ago that it's like we had a lot of knowledge about what, how you should react or how you should respond to a pandemic. And it's like he just threw it all out and made it up and just said, we're not gonna do that. I mean, I remember the Trump administration being blamed for throwing out the pandemic playbook and I found a link to it. So I looked at the pandemic playbook and it looked nothing like what they were doing. And they even lied about what was in it. They're like, oh, we didn't, they didn't have a playbook because they threw it out. And I looked at it and I'm like, okay, what it tells you to do is nothing like what Dr. Fauci is saying to do. It's nothing like what we're doing. It, it, it actually says a lot of them, a lot of the elements in it were the exact opposite of it. It never talked about shutting down an economy and never talked about shutting down travel. It never talked about any of those things. In fact, in some cases, I think it said those are bad ideas. We've learned that that's not a good strategy. And yet they did it anyway. And it's like he just arbitrarily decided he knew what was best for the country. He, he made his recommendations to Trump. I, I wish Trump had stood up to him or had some better sense that he was dealing with a very bad person. And, you know, as a result, again, it's like I think maybe millions of people have died and, and, you know, the economic damage is probably incalculable. It's just— it's outrageous.
Yeah, I so agree with everything you just said. And then he, he would run home at night to his diary to, you know, journal everything that happened. That he liked for his fame. But never am I reading about worrying about the people of this country. Oddly, I'm just thinking about that now when I'm like reading all of these things. It's about, you know, the people he's meeting and the hits he's getting and the engagement. But it's like, where is the concern for the citizens? It's like, oh, I did this and that triggered that. Marcella, somebody asked if he could be extradited. I don't think he can. Um, but oh my gosh, like, what's the worst thing that could happen? Is he going to go to jail?
No, he should. He should.
I mean, if he lies, I guess, but he'll be so careful. He's so trained.
Well, they, they still can bring, you know, nobody as trained as they can be can, uh, twist themselves so much. So he's gonna have to tell the truth. Um, otherwise he's going to face false, uh, statement, allegations of perjury and all that. But I wanted to clarify, uh, Laura Ingram said, I don't know if this pardon was—
you—
the auto pen was used on the pardon. From multiple reports, and this is from Biden's own people to the New York Times, the auto pen was used. The only time it was not used was for— guess who? Hunter, of course.
Yeah.
And so Of course. So, you know, I still think that could still be tried. You know, that could still be pushed, especially now when we have the Biden tapes from 2016, 2017 showing him having— I know we'll talk about that, but we can go into that. But even then, that was before he was president. Yeah. But in regards to Fauci and what he did, the worst part is that he knew all these things were lies and he still went for it. He still kept it. I think it was because he wanted to control. He wanted control. And who else was he working with? Um, he— I, I, you know, you— despite the fact that he has been, um, involved in many issues like the AIDS epidemic and so was COVID, but the idea is I don't think he's alone. I think he was working with someone higher. That's my idea. Or maybe it rhymes with China.
Well, um, if he can't plead the Fifth, my prediction is he's going to suddenly have a very bad memory.
Yeah, I can't remember, I don't recall.
Yeah.
Um, Marcella, that's like the perfect segue into the next half here. So we're talking China paying off lots of people in this country to get things done the way they want them done. Not a shock, but now there's a lot more proof about it. And, um, so you mentioned China, you mentioned Hunter. Let's just, you know, let's just get into it with the crème de la crème, which is, uh, Catherine Herridge. She is just all over this stuff. So let me see, uh, the Skiff— the account The Skiff, uh, posted this, but let's take a listen. I think this is maybe I don't know if it's a couple of minutes or 5 minutes, I forget, but either way, this is really good information just to set us up for what's happening now. So let's take a listen.
I found these records which are talking about blackmail by China. It was for President Biden's daily brief. I, I can conclude, I think, that it was probably about targeting his family. I think the big record that stands out is this instant messaging with a very senior FBI official who— who describes this shadow government. But what's significant about Nikki Flores is that you need to really start to connect the dots. And since the release last week, I spoke with Senator Ron Johnson, and he confirmed to me that in August of 2020, so right about the same time that the Chinese election influence operation was being suppressed, he said Nikki Flores came to him and Senator Grassley and did what's called a defensive briefing. A defensive briefing is given by the FBI when they think that you are the target of a foreign disinformation campaign. In this case, they were briefed about Russia. And Senator Johnson told me he believes this was an effort by the FBI to discourage him and Senator Grassley from pursuing the Hunter Biden laptop, and that this whole defensive briefing was designed to lay the ground groundwork for that larger obfuscation, which was that the laptop was not credible and it was not authentic.
So you've been reporting on this kind of intelligence suppression for a very long time. You're the best at it. But, um, of course, and before President's speech last week, but it seems that we're looking at a pattern here of the intelligence community getting information and then deciding what they think should or should not be briefed to senior officials, including President Trump in particular. Is there a pattern, whether it's COVID or the Hunter Biden laptop or Chinese influence, depending on a political narrative? I mean, where— why is certain information relayed and other information is not?
In the last week, I've been speaking with a very senior member of Director Gabbard's investigations team, known as the DIG, and what they told me is that they did see a pattern where there was a sense or a feeling in the intelligence intelligence community that they just knew better. They had to save President Trump from his own instincts, from his own tendencies, and that there was very much a globalist view, and they had to preserve a globalist view. So, whether it was downplaying or suppressing intelligence about the threat from China, whether it was giving a pass and calling the Hunter Biden laptop Russian disinformation, there was this level of a bureaucracy. A kind of conspiracy that was making decisions about the kind of information that should be reaching policymakers and ultimately the commander-in-chief.
So if that information is not being relayed to the proper, especially elected officials, and they are about real credible threats against the country, how can these officials even address those threats properly if they're not relaying them to the, the people who are in charge of making decisions?
Well, this is exactly the point. This is not a political question. It's not a Democrat or Republican question. It's about getting information to the decision makers so that they can make choices that benefit the United States and U.S. national security. And what we saw in the release of the records, which I'm afraid— I think in the media or legacy media, there was kind of a willful blindness. They didn't want to look at the records. All you had to do was spend a couple of hours. I found these records which are talking about blackmail by China. It was for President Biden's daily brief. I can conclude, I think, that it was probably about targeting his family. When that kind of information is not reaching a decision maker, ultimately the United States and the American people are the losers. Right. And I think that's what people need to be focused on.
It's dangerous as well.
Yeah, exactly.
They're not getting into it. You've also mentioned that transparency needs— sorry, transparency falls short without accountability.
That's right.
Given that we've seen the shadow government in a number of very serious examples, what kind of accountability do we need to change this? I mean, the president clearly is trying to get this out there. DNI Gabbard was doing this, former DNI, um, but it doesn't seem like there's been much punishment for the people who are engaged in this kind of—
I think this is one of the most frustrating things for folks at home and, you know, all over social media, is they're like, when am I going to see a perp walk? When am I going to see criminal charges? I didn't I did a little research, and there are actually multiple criminal statutes that were violated here. There's something which is essentially the abuse of your position as a member of the government. It's sort of color of law, is the statute. There could be violations under the Military Code of Justice. Many of these intelligence agencies fall under the Department of War. There are conspiracy charges. And then there are more ethics violations. Under the senior executive service. So in fact, there's really almost a buffet of choices in terms of picking charges. And the question is whether this administration is gonna go the distance here, because I think the release of the records is half the story. I think the accountability is the part that the public is really looking for.
So it seems like we have some questions for the Department of Justice and whether they will pursue those charges.
Crazy town. So this whole shadow government's going on, and it seems like it's being led by China. China. Owen, I mean, this is insanity. And I don't know. I mean, she says there's a buffet of potential charges, but that's besides the point. Like, there's so many people in this web and how many of them are still in the government. I don't know.
As Scott would tell us, it's exactly what it looks like. It's like, you know, we, we all saw this, we've known this, we've talked about this for years. Now we have the proof. Um, but it's just, uh, you know, we know there's the deep state, we know they're just using their own agenda. They pretty much admitted it in writing at this point, at least based on whatever these documents were and are. And people should go to prison. People should— they might even be deserving a death penalty. I mean, it's— to me, it sounds like treason or sedition or whatever the right word is. I don't think Catherine Heritage used those words, but it sounds like that to me. And whatever statute applies, I think we should throw the book at them. And I don't think there should be any tolerance for this. There should be no special dispensation. There shouldn't be Anyone who's above the law, and they should face full accountability for their actions. And it seems to me there is clear violation of the law, and no question that they were subverting the agenda of President Trump during his first term. And I'm guessing they're still doing it today. I mean, I— these people are just arrogant, probably also narcissists like Fauci, where they think they know better and they're the ones that should be running the country. And so they're just going to go do that. And use the power that they've been granted, which should be treated with respect and ethics and integrity, and just saying, screw that, I'm just going to do what I want to do because I want to make this happen or that happen. And so I'll lie, I'll cheat, I'll just deceive, I'll leave out stuff and just make it happen and slow walk things. You had that whole— I think it was a book written by somebody that was like the— or at least a document that somebody was like, you know, I'm this shadow person resisting Trump. Like, these people should all be locked up.
Oh, 100%. Marcella, your thought on that Catherine Herridge piece? She's amazing.
That, that would have been Nikki Flores from the, uh, declassified documents that said that there was a shadow government, uh, that she was doing. Um, just to give a sense of why we have these documents, so Fauci journal diary and the documents that you see that Catherine Herridge has, um, they were all declassified by Tulsi Gabbard as well as the president. We wouldn't have them had Kamala won. So they never declassify any of this. They knew all of this, the Biden administration, when January 6th happened, when things after that happened. Um, we're liars, we're conspiracy theorists, we're crazy. Um, That's the issue, is that lots of people need to go to prison. Um, and yes, it's treason. Um, yeah, and nobody's doing anything. And my, my frustration with the Republicans is what are they doing, like, now that they know this? Where are— where is the DOJ? Where is, uh, where is the International Court of Justice, allegedly? You know, because they could bring a case against Fauci themselves, you know.
But where are they? They're all getting ready for a month-long vacation. Like, nothing's urgent. Nothing. Like, all this stuff is out, nothing's— nope. But first we need our vacation. It's— we're not a serious country.
The best theory I have is that they know that it goes a lot further than this. They, they know that there are Republicans that are caught up in this blackmail stuff and that they've played their games too. And they would be worried that if they really go too far or too hard against Democrats that at some point in the future they're going to face the same consequences.
Get them all out. I don't even care.
That's what I'm thinking. They're involved.
Yeah, but get them— go ahead, burn it down. I, I don't need— I don't care anymore.
It's like, this is why the DSA is winning so many, uh, people, because even though I hate socialists, they want to get rid of the old guard in the Democratic Party. Um, maybe we should do the same in the Republican Party, but anyway, maybe we'll talk later, you guys.
Yeah, maybe we'll talk about the socialists tomorrow too, because their whole agenda is get rid of prisons, the Senate, Congress, the, uh, DOJ, the Pentagon, uh, the military, and everyone gets to come in and do whatever they want. I'm like, good job, guys, that sounds perfect. Um, so I just want to lean into the Biden tapes a little bit more. Um, So these are out, and you know, was there anyone in this chat on any platform that didn't know Biden completely was demented before he even ran for president?
I mean, he—
you could see in the debates, I'm like, this man is, is not home. He's not home. He never was home.
Uh, maybe he just liked his basement.
Maybe he did, Owen. But you know, this is—
I just didn't know he was that Like, I understood later on he had issues, you know, but in 2016—
oh, I know, I—
oh yeah, I mean, um, I tried to listen to it and I just couldn't listen to most of it because it was just— I felt bad for him. That's how bad it was.
Stop feeling bad for him. He's a really bad man.
Grandpa. Okay, Grandpa.
You guys, don't feel bad for people that are bad. Okay, like, listen, he has a whole family around him. He has brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, grandchildren, a wife. Um, do not feel sorry for this man. Like, he has had this agenda his entire life to be president, no matter what the cost. Um, he's always been a liar. He's always been a fraud. Like, always, always, always been a liar and a fraud. So why, why would he change, you know, to become president? He wouldn't. Um, I want you to know I tried to pick the shortest clip I could of him talking because it is so hard to listen to him. But I have two— I have one clip to lead into the Biden tapes, and this is from CBS.
Breaking news tonight about former President Joe Biden. Today, roughly 70 hours of recordings of an interview he did with a ghostwriter in 2017 before he was president were released over Biden's objections. Senior White House correspondent Weijia Jiang joins Weijia, what do these tapes tell us?
Well, Matt, the newly released audio shows that in 2017, when former President Biden was writing a memoir, he told his ghostwriter on several occasions that he had classified documents in his possession. Biden can be heard saying, I just found all the classified stuff downstairs, in reference to volumes of notes Biden kept in his home. He also Trump also said some of this may be classified, so be careful. Biden, who fought for years to keep these recordings private, would later publicly criticize President Trump for his handling of classified documents. We asked a spokesman for Biden for a comment about the new tapes, but he said they don't have one.
Matt, we just think—
I mean, what's the comment going to be? Oh, so You know, and you know what I'm worried about is Trump gets so mushy, Marcello, where like he'll be like, well, you know, like he's older and this shouldn't happen to a former president. Yes, President Trump is really good at what the, the, the rules have always been, the silent rules. Like you don't try to indict a former president. You don't want to send them to jail. And of course, all those rules went out the window when it came to him. So I'm just so afraid that he'll back off anything. Um, but I hope he doesn't because he has nothing left to lose, Trump. He should just put it all out there. What do you think?
Why?
And you know, there was a report of, you know, there's been, um, Melania and some of his kids being, um, threatened. So I mean, he still has things to lose, you know, even though he doesn't run again. So I'm afraid that, um Everybody has something to lose to that degree if, if it means, um, being able to, um— Biden should have faced prosecution for declassifying. Um, at the time he was giving this to his ghostwriter, he was not, uh, he wasn't even vice president. He was in the weights. I think part of it was, um, vice president maybe one point But later on, he was just, um, you know, President Trump was in power, so he had no ability to declassify, and he wasn't president at that time. So all the things that, that they found, uh, that he gave to his ghostwriter, he could have been prosecuted on.
He had no right as a vice president to have classified information, period. So, and in his garage and boxes in his garage, like, what are we doing? Um, he's an idiot. Um, Owen, what's your thoughts thus far?
Well, I, I, I, I think in terms of classified documents, it is just the height of hypocrisy because the one of the key differences is that Trump was president. So he had the ability to decide which records he's allowed to keep. There is allowances in the law only for the president to do that. And so he actually had a legal basis for saying, I'm gonna keep some of these records. And I'm, you know, he didn't release them. He didn't do anything bad with them. So even apart from the legal aspect, he clearly handled them well enough that it didn't cause any damage or do anything. And it's pretty clear to me that they were worried about what he had just because it could potentially damage them. It was all about, you know, what kind of blackmail might he have on us and how do we get him and get these documents away from him so he can't do anything in the future against us. And they were still in the mode of just doing everything they could to keep him from being reelected. So it was all about that too, that they have been doing everything to try and keep him out of office in 2016, throughout his whole first term, after his first term, everything. They just threw out every rule or norm that there's ever been to say, we want to keep this guy out of office. And so I'm kind of with you, Erica, that I think, like, it's not about whether or not he has something to lose. It's that they're going to come after him anyway. Like, like, it's kind of like the filibuster that Trump is saying now. He's, you know, Trump just came out and said something like, like whoever, whichever party, um, gets rid of the filibuster is the one that's gonna, you know, get their agenda through, and, and the other one's just gonna lose because everything's gonna go the other way. And I think it's the same thing with Trump. It's like he— they're gonna come after him. They're gonna try and put him in prison or do whatever they can after he's out of office. Whenever a Democrat gets party— gets power, even if it's in the midterms, they're going to try and do it in Congress, and they're going to try and do it after he gets out of office. They're, they're vindictive, and they have so much TDS, it's not going to go away, and nothing he does that's nice to them or pulling punches is going to make any difference. So I think he should just get as much accountability as possible while he can, and hopefully we'll have Vance or Rubio or someone as the next president, but you just, you don't know what's going to happen with that. You don't know whether they're going to find another way to rig the election or what's going to come out between now and then and what the economy is going to look like. And so So make hay while the sun's shining. Do it when you can, because that's what I think you're going to be able to do in the future.
There's no reciprocity. And Beverly reminded me that Biden got those classified documents from the SCIF when he was a senator. So even worse, if that's possible. I have two more clips I really want to get to. I'm just going to go quick. Okay. This one. All right. A clip of Biden talking to his ghostwriters, these poor people. Let's take a quick listen.
This was a big meeting, the CIA and everyone on, uh, it was, um, was that a July meeting? I don't know, it looks like it is. It says I changed pens. So, it's got to be after the 17th of June, and then it's a long meeting where DOD brief at DOD, POTUS, Air Force Two, 2:30 PM. It was a big meeting down in the Situation Room. It would have been. Some of this may be classified, so be careful.
Okay.
I'm not sure. Not more classified, but I just found all the classified stuff downstairs. I wrote the president a handwritten 40-page memorandum.
You're on mute, Erica.
Everyone loves a 40-page handwritten memorandum. I'm sure that was a thrill a minute. Um, so there he is admitting to having, you know, classified stuff. Not sure if that's classified. Found a bunch downstairs, can't remember anything. Someone's always trying to help him along. And you guys, this was 2017 and he was re-running for president. He, he thought he could be president right now. What the hell? Marcella, you take this one first. I do want to get to another clip really quick after we talk.
I, you know, I, I heard this, you know, we talked about like how he used classified information. He had it downstairs. Where downstairs anyways? But the 40-page memo, how can he even write a 40-page memo if he can't even put a sentence together like verbally? Um, that's probably his staff, I'm guessing.
Someone. Yeah. Owen, your thoughts on that?
I don't know, maybe he's using a crayon, a couple words per page.
Auto pen, true.
Yeah, he said he switched pens, so, you know, maybe it was something easier for him. Um, I don't know. Again, this is all just so ridiculous. It's all just like, you know, everything is what we thought it was, and, you know, it's all coming out now. And, you know, I think what's left is just, is there going to be any real accountability, or is it just going to be they're going to dump all this information on us and then move on and expect us to just forget all this. Like, it, it, it— I, I think it's just disgusting that these people have gotten away with these things for so long. And, um, I think all of us would just be very happy if we started seeing some actual indictments and actual convictions. Um, and so I think it's a very good question. Not, not where Mitch McConnell is, but where's Todd Blanchard? You know, where, where's— where are the cases? You know, where, where's the actual criminal charges?
Um, unless, you know, you guys were focused on Biden or we're focused on Fauci, you know, whatever, remember all the people that it took to put these frauds in front of us and create such havoc on our country. So, you know, yeah, they're the main focus, but don't forget everybody else around them. Um, all right, one last clip. This is from Laura Logan, and it's about the midterms real quick. Let's take a listen.
If there is another stolen election, if the midterms are stolen and the House and the Senate fall to the people who are the enemies of this country, and they impeach Donald Trump and they impeach JD Vance and they put Hakeem Jeffries in as the Speaker of the House who takes over in that case, we know what's going to happen because they've laid it out for us. They've already told us they're talking about abolishing the Senate, packing the Supreme Court, abolishing the Electoral College. Very simply put, they are facing real accountability and they're facing it on a very specific timeline, the midterms. And they know it. And they have no intention— if they can wiggle their way out of this, whatever it takes, if they can get back power, they will never, ever allow themselves to be this close to defeat. Ever again. So those people that want you to sit at home for the midterms because you're disillusioned, or you're angry, or you're hurt, or you feel betrayed, they're lying to you. They want you to think that, that what you can live with now is the end game, is the end state. It's not. What they have in mind is a permanent transfer of power that will render every election meaningless from that moment forward. That will take away every freedom you've ever known, every liberty that we regard as a right, that will render the Constitution completely and utterly meaningless, that will make January 6th and the prosecutions afterwards look like kindergarten.
Love her. Love that. We'll do more on her, uh, in the future. So Scott Richie says buy more ammo. Not a bad idea, as long as you're a licensed gun holder.
Okay.
Um, you guys, the midterms are important. Owen, midterms, you know, I think we have to make sure nobody's lazy. You know, don't sit it out. I'm going to hope every vote counts. Who knows?
But, you know, it's like they're, they're critical. And, and I, you know, I don't know what the RNC is doing about it. I know they have a lot of money. I know the Democrats are broke. They just mortgaged their headquarters for something. But, um, you know, but I see stories on both sides. I see stories that are saying the Democrats are going to sweep. I see stories saying the Republicans are going to sweep. And, you know, you had all the redistricting. So it's kind of like we just shuffled the deck and I have no idea how it's going to turnout. And, um, but it is critical because exactly what you said is true, at least in terms of what they're going to try to do. Now, I will, you know, try and bring some sanity into it. I don't think they can just arbitrarily say, okay, now the Senate's gone. Like, it's not that easy to do away with the Constitution. But I think the, you know, they, they will try. They'll do everything they can to obstruct Trump's agenda, to obstruct everything. I don't think anything would get through Congress except maybe an impeachment. And then the Senate, hopefully we would at least have enough of the Senate to avoid having another impeachment trial clown show. But even if they did, I don't think there's any chance the Democrats are going to have enough to actually remove Trump. So I don't think it's going to be as extreme as they would like it to be. But at the same time, all they're going to try and do is damage the country and stop progress. And then they're going to try and, you know, I'm sure they will do whatever they can to rig the election or push the election, however you want to put it, in their favor. Um, and so I think we should do everything we can now to get the Save America Act passed and to have real election integrity so that we can do away with a lot of the ways that cheating could happen, because I think they have every motivation to do so at this point, and they have every motivation to do so for every election going forward. And they've, in my opinion, shown no reluctance to saying they'll do whatever it takes to get power. And so I think we need to do everything we can to show up at the midterms, get your friends to show up at the midterms. Go do whatever you can to make sure that everybody who cares about this country shows up and, um, makes it at least a lot harder for them to cheat and a lot harder for them to rig elections so that we hopefully will maintain control of Congress at least for a couple more years. And then we'll have to see what happens in 2028.
And volunteer to be a poll watcher. Marcela, we're at time, but give me a closing, uh, argument. I was going to say the Republicans are—
have issues because a lot of of previous MAGA supporters see them as a uniparty. And this again comes out with nobody being prosecuted. There's no accountability even by the Republicans not voting for the Save America Act. So a lot of— there's a lot of things that are happening. The support is lessening for them as well. So, but Lara, Lara Logan, right, she, she's very persuasive. A great visual. Like it. Like, like our stream too. Um, very persuasive, beautiful woman. Um, and lots of fear. I love it. You know, um, I would have to say as your attorney in chief right here, a lot of what she said cannot happen unless there's like total, like a new pandemic and the new emergency rules where they gotta get rid of the Senate. I don't know, but it would have to be through amendments. Of the Constitution, but you never know. So love it, love that video.
So listen, we're gonna do an Akira song after, and I think I'm gonna pick Use Your Despair because we're just going for it. Okay, so thank you everybody. Home team will be back tomorrow. We're very home teamy this week, and I feel like I've needed that, and I like it. Okay, you guys, so listen, thank you to Scott Adams and Shelley Adams for allowing the show to continue. I I know that they're thrilled that it is. And you know what? There were naysayers. There were naysayers. They're like, give them a week, they'll crash and burn. But we're not, because we love it and we love you guys and we all want to be together. So look at us go. Thanks, Bookish. Okay, so thank you, Scott Adams and Shelley Adams, for allowing the show to continue. Marcela and Owen, the best co-hosts in the world. I love you guys so much. Have amazing, productive days, you two, and everyone else. And let's have a closing sip to our most beloved Scott Adams, you guys. To Scott.
To Scott.
To Scott.
Here's some more. Use your despair to find freedom. Use your despair to find freedom. Use your sadness, loneliness, depression, and despair to buy your freedom. Do you know how to do that? And by the way, Freedom feels really good. Here's how. Do you remember that day you were lonely and sad and neurotic and anxious and depressed and every other bad feeling in the world, and if only you could talk to that guy or that girl, the person of your affection? If you feel like you're gonna die anyway, just do it.
You're afraid.
Go up to that person that you think is going to turn you down, and guess what? They probably will. Doesn't matter. Doesn't matter. Everybody's failing all over the world all the time. Go up to that person and say to yourself before you walk up, my whole life is garbage right now. I'm sad. I'm lonely. I'm neurotic. Let's mix it up a little bit. Let's shake the box. Let's just see what happens. Leave your box, walk directly up to that person that is way better than you in your broken mind. They're not way better than you, but you think they are. To say, you know, I just wanted I wondered if you'd like to go out to dinner with me. I think it'd be fun. Use your despair to find freedom. Use your despair to find freedom. Use your sadness, loneliness, depression, and despair to bite to divert a little bit. Years ago when I was single, I lived in San Francisco, had no social life whatsoever, no game. It was before online dating. I mean, meeting somebody was really, really hard pre-internet. And I joined a group called the Spinsters. Uh, well, I didn't join them, I went to an event that they had. Spinsters were young women who were single and had an ironic name. And they would have these big parties and they would invite men, and it was just basically a way to meet people. So I went to one of these events with my friend Josh, and we walked in and we looked around and we said to ourselves, hmm, not exactly the most attractive room. I don't want to be unkind, but it wasn't exactly what we were hoping for. With one exception. Across the room, there was one unusually attractive woman, and she sort of stood out as the most attractive woman in the entire place. And so I said to my friend, well, this is a disaster. We wasted our night. I'm just going to go over to the most attractive woman in the room. I'll flame out in about a second and a half, and then we'll be done, and then we just go home. So I walked directly up to the most attractive woman in the room, and she was my girlfriend for 11 months. Use your despair to find freedom. Use your despair to find freedom. Use your sadness, loneliness, depression, and despair to buy your freedom. To buy your freedom. If you had asked me what were my odds, I would have said pretty close to zero. Pretty close to zero. And it turns out But the other people were intimidated and didn't talk to her. Now, why was I able to walk up to someone that I could normally not walk up to? It's because I'd given up. I had absolutely given up. There was nothing for me here. I just said, "Well, doesn't matter. I don't know her. If she turns me down, Nothing lost. The moment you realize that your despair is your freedom, you're free.
I can't pick a favorite. They're so good. That gave me a little bit of like Prince vibes too, oddly enough.
I don't think I've heard that one before. It was really good.
Wasn't that good? Akira is amazing. I mean, you put the words of Scott Adams and all the other people he selects to his creativity. It's amazing. And again, you can find more of Akira's music at meaningwave.com. Meaningwave.com. Yeah, we'll see you guys tomorrow. Thanks for sticking around. Your comments keep us going. You guys are the best. All right, Owen and Marcella, have an awesome day. You too. Bye, everybody.
Bye.
Bye, guys. See you tomorrow. Thank you so much for being here. Bye, Smar Nefarious.
Thank you.
Thank you. Yes, let's all go be useful. Okay guys, I'm gonna run. Jump, Courtney! Okay, bye guys.
