The Scott Adams School - 09/02/26 Thomas Corbett-Dillon joins Erica & Kyle Becker

Hung Cao, a Vietnamese-born Navy veteran and newly appointed Secretary of the Navy, discusses escaping communist Vietnam and criticizes the Biden administration for what he calls authoritarian policies including DOJ raids and mass illegal immigration. The hosts promote Kyle Becker's upcoming book Hypernia and argue for merit-based immigration over identity politics.

lot of fun. So now we are live, you guys. Look, look who's here. And you know what, Thomas, we always said we need a British— we need like a UK correspondent. We always have so many questions and we're like, we need the official voice.
So—
A lot of pressure. I hope I know the answers to all this. I've been in America too long, that's the problem.
I don't— how long have you been in America?
Uh, 6 years since COVID So, uh, yeah, quite a while, but Not that long just yet. I've still got my English English roots, so.
Oh, well that's good. You go back and forth a lot?
I do, yeah. I haven't been back in about a year. I'm worried. I feel like they're gonna like arrest me for hate speech or something. They they're so draconian over there now.
So it's possible.
I'm always nervous when I land at Heathrow, but I'm I'm kidding. I'm sure it's fine.
Well, you know, Milo can let you know how it's going over there now. Yeah, right.
Ay ay ay.
Um, so all right, you guys. Hi, we're just getting. Getting warmed up here. Kyle Becker will be joining us. Hopefully he'll make it here in time for this sip. If not, that's okay. Am I looking regal? You guys, I was trying to dress up a little bit because you know I feel like I feel like because Thomas is from the UK that it's like we have royalty in the house.
So you know, no tiara. You didn't find a tiara in the house anywhere.
I know.
Digging through.
I have a few actually. I just didn't grab one.
So you guys.
This is Thomas Corbett Dillon, and you have seen me play his clip, his now viral video, uh, of your completely appropriate take on Lindsey Clancy and her supporters, um, which I feel like I want to wake up to that every day. It just fueled me on so many levels. Everybody's face was so perfect. The one woman you were talking to, she's like doing yoga breathing.
Yeah.
The host is like, oh my God. Like a sitcom, and it was a throwback to like 2016.
We haven't seen any of those videos in a while. It was, it was like Milo era, right? It was like the SJW era. Yeah, it was good fun.
So good, so good. All right, so you guys, you know, there is something we all need to do before we can get going, so let's take it away with Scott.
It's time for the simultaneous sip, and all you need is a cup or mug or a glass, a tank or chalice or stein, a canteen, jug, or flask, a vessel of any Kind. Fill it with your favorite liquid. I like coffee. And join me now for the unparalleled pleasure, the dopamine hit of the day, the thing that makes everything better, including the air quality in California. It's called the simultaneous sip. It happens now. Go. Mm.
There's Scott leading the way. We love that, that mantra every morning. He was hypnotizing us. He was hypnotizing us, Thomas. So Thomas, okay, a little bit about you. So you formerly were a, I guess, you worked with Boris Johnson with the hair. So you had the hair of the UK. Now you're here and you've got the hair of Trump happening. So you're a commentator, a journalist. How would you describe yourself?
Yeah, so I usually sort of say like political strategist. More than journalists, I wouldn't say that I'm necessarily breaking any stories. Usually the stories are breaking about me. That's the problem. But yeah, just in the scene doing a lot of TV stuff mostly. This has been my first sort of delve into the world of podcasts, which has been fun. I just did the Tim Pool podcast. Now obviously joining you guys. So it's different for me. It's fun. I always feel like you guys have much better environments you're in. I'm in like a TV studio. You're looking much more Relax over there. I've got to get a podcast set up going.
Yes. Anything goes, typically. Anything goes. So I do like that you're— I happened to catch you on Timcast the other night. I was only there for about half an hour, but I was like, oh, awesome. I'm so glad because you're going to love that more. No one's going to try to beat you out for words. There's no commercials and all of this craziness. I think, did that video just make you go viral when that was happening? Because I feel like what happens is when people are just saying the truth as you did, it just makes the vast majority of people exhale and we're like, yes, thank God someone's just saying the thing. So is that how you've been received with that?
Yeah. And it's such a weird thing because it wasn't even like I had a base take. It was like, The the standard sensible yes, the woman who killed her children is not someone that I relate to or even really care about, right? Like but for some reason that's the controversial take. Like it is so weird. So it's been good, but it's it's been so interesting because you know a lot of the people that actually have been reaching out or really like enjoyed the clip, it's all been women. It's women that are totally sick of these crazy feminists that get all the media, all the airtime, and make all the women look bad. And you know so. Um, I, I guess I was glad that I was able to push back, uh, because I think a lot of people are saying that, you know, the, the woke era is officially ending. Because if that had happened maybe 2 or 3 years ago, I would have had to say, hey, you know, I'm, I'm— I don't want to mansplain, I've got to let the woman talk. But actually, I was like, no, you're talking rubbish. I don't care about this woman, and she killed her children. The victims here are the children. That's who I care about. Um, so yeah, it's been, it's been a good clip.
It's been phenomenal. And they always say, I mean, I hate to say that that took courage because that's just stupid to say that you have to have courage to just speak the truth. But I think that what you did will allow other people, and I hope men, to do the same thing because men have been so attacked and so silenced and it's really sad. And so yeah, I don't think I'm a rare breed of woman when I say I'm so sick of these women. TikTok should go away. I feel bad that, you know, men, especially white men, are being attacked now and told to, like, put yourself into your shell and, you know, shut, shut up and sit down and just, you know, say the things we tell you to say. And that's just BS. That's just not who men should be or are. So good for you. More of that, please. I do want to play a clip that I saw from Timcast and The one thing I was saying to you that I'd love to talk about, so you can see what's happening in the UK with illegal immigration, again, bending the knee to other cultures and forgetting who people are at their core, whether you're a man or a nation. So I do like what you said about Ireland, and I am watching those people there and I'm just like, ugh, the Irish people are are proud people. And here's what you said.
Hey, Dad, do you know how to make a car bomb? Yeah, I do. The one to watch is Ireland, particularly Northern Ireland. Yeah, I think that's going to be the one that really sets everything off. Because if you think about, not only do they have absolutely no jobs for these young men, they're completely demoralized. Um, but at the same time, so there's these young guys with nothing to do, they're pissed off at their country, they want— they're ready to fight. They also have fathers that that they can say, hey, Dad, do you know how to make a car bomb?
Yeah.
I do. There's not many countries in the world that have that. So I think Ireland is gonna be— is, is, you know, we're already seeing there's riots happening this week in Northern Ireland.
Oh, really?
Over what was this?
Over the migration, uh, immigrants. They've been going to hell. They've solved the Irish crisis by importing these people. The Protestants and the Catholics have looked at each other and said, hey, we kind of like each other. Like, I've never seen you beheading a guy in the street. It's kind of these foreigners are the problem.
What sort of thing?
Transubstantiation? Standing together.
Yeah. Like, they're right at the— the Catholics and the Protestants, the young guys are standing together fighting the regime. It's crazy.
Because they disagree on, you know, like transubstantiation. These other guys sawn heads off.
It's like, I think there's a little bit of a difference.
Okay, maybe we're on the same side. It's solved. They've solved the Irish problem.
That was so funny.
I love that. It's so true, right? Like when people can come together. So go ahead, talk more about that.
Well, my main takeaway is I need a haircut. I look crazy in that, but that's okay. People are saying, you know, I've got Trump hair.
I'm like, oh gosh, I gotta get myself to the barber.
But no, it is a real issue because as much as we complain that there are problems in the United States and some of the young Republicans are disillusioned here, you've still got pretty good working conditions. People earn good money. It's still a great country to live in. Look at the state of Northern Ireland itself. It is prime for, and I hate to use the word, but some form of revolution or something. Is is just it's almost inevitable there because these boys have nothing, and at the same time they are bringing in these working you know fighting age men that are coming in that are getting free houses, free you know they get credit cards, they get mobile mobile phones, they get so much. It's it's prime. You know it's almost like they want it to happen. It's completely insane that the government are doing this over there. So I'm I'm very very nervous about the situation in Ireland. No one wants to see violence. But these boys, they have nothing to lose, and that's not a good situation.
Do you think other countries will follow suit watching Ireland? I feel like there are many, many countries at a tipping point. And I'm not trying to generalize you guys, but they are called the Fighting Irish. So I do feel like the Irish people are perfect to lead this charge and maybe set the example because Like you said, I mean, they're on such a small piece of land, they're being overrun. There's a lot of crime and assault and everything else that YouTube doesn't want me to talk about on here.
Right.
So Scott used to say, test small. So he would say, let one state try something or let one— let California try reparations for Black people and see how it goes. And then you'll know if you should expand it. So do you think Ireland is a good test case for the other countries in the same situation?
Totally. Yeah. And as I said in that clip, it's prime because they have the resources, they have the knowledge to actually turn it into something. Even if in England there's people sort of getting out, maybe they'll go and protest in the streets and they might throw a brick or something. But in Ireland, it's a totally different situation there. I don't know if it will spread. Remember, there's so much media control in Europe. Even now, it's hard to see some of the clips that are coming out of Ireland. A lot of them are suppressed or hidden on social media. It's hard to see what's actually going on over there. But I do think that that certainly is the one for us to be paying attention to.
So and then is it? I'm going to say the name wrong, you guys. Ceuta, Morocco, where that whole invasion happened, and they're doing the same thing. So that they're. Taking to the streets. The men, you guys, the men, because they're men and they don't care if you want to suppress them. The men are taking to the street and they're fighting back for their countries. And I don't know what that would look like, let's say here, because America's huge and what does that look like? And then is this just like people street fighting? I don't know. But I think that— That's why ICE is important and the de-immigration is important and getting people that shouldn't be here, especially the criminals, you guys. I mean, you know, we had talked to Brandon Darby a while ago and like, you know, he always taught me if you import the other problems from the other countries, they don't go away when they get here. The problems come with them. So now we're trying, you know, so some of us are trying to live by the laws and the Constitution and then there's a whole bunch of invaders that just don't care. So how important is it that we cooperate with ICE, do you think?
Yeah, totally. And, you know, this idea that, that they're doing anything wrong by arresting illegal people, it's like the word is in there. They're illegal. They literally— you know, people are saying, well, you only go after the criminals. And it's like, well, by virtue of being an illegal, you illegally entered this country. You broke the law. Therefore, you are a criminal. So, you know, I think that I suppose I have to declare I am in the country legally. Since Milo has given all the Brits a bad name, now everyone's looking at the Brits being like, hey, is he supposed to be here? I have a green card. But I do think, as you mentioned, it is much harder in the United States than in Europe just because also the way that our countries are set up over there. We have town squares and things that have hosted riots and protests and revolutions for hundreds and thousands of years. The people know where to go. They go to the town square wherever they took the king down and all these things. It's much harder in the US. You know, you can't, you know, walk out your house and go down to the, you know, the local parking lot and hold a protest. It's not quite the same. So it's a different creature, which, you know, is good. We don't want to see riots or protests anywhere in the world. And, you know, that's a good thing for the US.
Yeah. I mean, I do worry too, because like— oh, Kyle Becker has joined us. Kyle, I just put you on mute while you settle in. Thanks. But I just So I worry, it's amazing to see how the UK is cracking down on its people. So what's the general feeling there? I think a lot of businesses and people, and I think your millionaire class is heading out, aren't they?
Yeah, we've already lost like 16,000 millionaires. It's really interesting. You can look at what a lot of these socialists, particularly these DSA types in the United States, what they're proposing for the US. We have in England, and that that's one of my greatest you know debating tools when I talk to these people is they're like but you know we we just need this and the country would be great. And I'm like hey guess what we've done it. You know Mamdani wants to do all these extra taxes on the rich in New York. We did it in London. We've tried it. Guess what? Sixteen thousand millionaires have left the UK, and they took all the tax that they were paying with them. So you know we we have those things. Our left wing were totally taken over. By far-left socialists quite a while ago now, and also got into bed with the Islamists, which has become a big, a big group in the UK, very powerful group in the UK now. We've had it. You look, you want to see what the future of the US is? Look at what England is today. The DSA takeover of the Democrat Party is inevitable. It is going to happen. People are saying, is this gonna— is this a thing? Is it? Yes, it is happening. It's already started. It's snowballing. Look at the UK. So yeah, it's, it's tough, uh, and, and that's one of my worries, particularly with the young Republicans. I know a lot of people are very, very disillusioned with the Trump administration. They feel disappointed. They've been let down. But my concern is that if you stay home or you don't vote in this election, you're going to get a Democrat at the next presidential election. And if you think the border was open in Biden, good luck. Like, you've seen nothing. They will go crazy. Biden, to his credit, he was a good man. He was a— he was a very respected man. He held back on a lot of things. If you had a hardcore— someone that believed in the DSA objectives in the White House, good luck. I mean, look at Europe. It's gonna be the exact case for the United States, and it's very scary.
I fully agree with that. That's one thing that we do worry about is that, you know, like you said, young Republicans, young people in general are having a hard time. Not to say that everybody isn't having a hard time, especially financially. It's hard to tell people, you know, like a lot of people in the chat will say like, I'll do my part at the gas pump and I'll pay more, you know, to fight these wars. And it's like, okay, but maybe you can, but a lot of people can't. can't. They can't even drive their car or put food on the table. And so that's when the DSA looks appealing to them. And so it's kind of like, I'll give it a shot. But if you could give a plea to not just, not just the younger people or the people that are considering the DSA, but the people, um, you know, like, I ha— I fully have my issues with Trump. I would never stay home and not vote. I, like, I, I would vote for Trump again if I could. Doesn't matter if I have issues with him. But what would you say as plea to people who are just like, oh, we're screwed anyway, I'm not gonna vote?
Yeah, and, and I, I totally understand that. And, you know, and I, you know, I see the gas prices as well. You know, I live in the US, it is a problem. Um, but my concern is that if you, if you stay home, um, and the left are very, very good, we see it in England, they're very good at promising things. The right tend to believe you don't promise something if you can't deliver it. The left have no problem promising it. Look at Mamdani saying, you know, these State-owned grocery stores, 20% off. These crazy policies. The people love that. You know, of course I'd be happy if we could go and get a 20% discount at the grocery stores. These are ridiculous policies. You can't implement these. You can't afford these in a sensible society. They're going to promise crazy things in the election. They're going to promise free healthcare for everyone. Guess what? I'm from a country that has free healthcare. It is hell. It doesn't work. It's never worked. You think if I'm in England, I want to get an appointment? Good luck. It'll be 2 months. To see a doctor. The American healthcare system works fantastically well. It's not perfect, but certainly better than the free healthcare. And it's not even free. I pay monthly taxes in England to pay for it, more than American insurance charges. It's totally insane. As I say, every policy they pitch, we have in England, and none of it works. So my concern is that, yes, if you, if you stay home because, yes, fine, Trump hasn't done what you wanted, or hasn't voted, or the war— you don't like the wars, I get that, you know, a lot of people agree. But you trust me, when these people get in, all they need is four years. It doesn't matter if a Republican comes back after four years. The damage that they will do to this country—it's it's so sad. Look at the Anglosphere. Every single we've got five countries, right? New Zealand, Australia, Canada, UK—all four of them have fallen. The fifth one, America—it's the only one that still has hope. We have to make this country survive. It really is. It's so close that I'm so worried. I'm like, I had to move here. Where else am I gonna go if America falls? It's really scary.
It is really scary. So Kyle, if you want to unmute yourself, I'm so glad you got in, you guys. Rumble Studios, our favorite. Um, oh, if you could just lower your volume, Kyle. I can hear me. Um, did you want to ask anything to Thomas? Because we are going to actually stay on after Thomas leaves in a bit and talk about uh, the issues with Islam and what's happening. So any questions for our UK friend, Kyle?
No. What did you think about Andrew Burnham's speech yesterday? I see it was just kind of the same old, same old from Labour, right? What does he plan on doing? I mean, he was a mayor of Manchester and he saw firsthand a lot of these problems that you're talking about with immigration. And, uh, just saying, like, what's the— what did you get out of that? And what's the hope for, for Moving on for those who are more in line with reform or possibly conservative.
Yeah, I mean, I turned it off to be honest with you. I mean, the guy's a complete idiot. He there's nothing nothing new he's going to say. He's just a puppet. You know, everyone was saying you know when Keir Starmer stepped down as if anything was going to change. No, the regime that their candidate became very unpopular, so they swapped their puppet out for a new guy who's what God. Shiny glasses and can play the guitar. Like it's totally ridiculous to think that this guy is going to do anything different for our country. He is just a puppet who's just being told what to do by the Tony Blairs and the elites that have run our country for a long time. England is in in a dire situation. I don't even know if reform get in, will they even be able to save the country? I mean, look at as we mentioned, the president has had enough trouble here trying to do deportations. That we can't even deport a guy, a terrorist who you know we sent to jail and has served his time. We want to send him back to Pakistan. They said no, we're not having him. So we then said okay, no worries. Like what do you mean? Like no, like he's not a British citizen. He's from Pakistan. Take your guy back. But the country is so sort of cucked and weak that instead of like standing up like the president is very very good at the international affairs and saying no, take this guy or we're cutting all of your funding, every money that we give you. We are taking back. At the same time, we paid them $150 million in aid. Said, oh yeah, sure, well, here's your aid money, no worries, we'll keep your terrorists. It's, it's so bad. I don't even know if Nigel will get in, if he'll be able to do something. It'll be like when the president first got in. Every establishment is going to be against him. The media against him. All the judges are against him. It's, it's really, really tough.
So you guys have a judge problem also?
Massively. Much worse than you guys because we have no ability to remove them, or I forget the word, but like a version of impeach them. Um, there's nothing, and they're completely unaccountable, mostly unnamed. We don't really know who many of them are. Um, and, you know, and we don't— you know, it's different there because here at least you know like who appointed them, so you can kind of get an idea of like what their background and like whose side they're on. Um, no, it completely, uh, it's out of control. Yeah.
Wow.
Uh, I did have one more question.
Hey, Kyle, your mic is so loud our ears are falling off. And there's a lot of feedback. This is why. Oh no. Yes. You know what? I'm going to mute you for a minute. Okay. So we're going to continue because my ears are gone now while Kyle works it out. So, you know, it is amazing to me that as citizens, I don't know if you guys, if you have the read on the people in the UK, but we feel like we have no control and no say in our lives. And for us, You know, the politicians are paid by us. No, they're not. They're paid by AIPAC and everybody else. But you know, we're they're supposed to be working for us and not just filling their own pockets. So you know, how do you think we should adjust? What do you think we should do? Because I often want to give a solution to people like you know, yeah, we feel frustrated and but how do we how do we get our mindset right? Like what would you suggest to us to get our mindset right?
It's tough. I totally understand people feel disillusioned. Um, you know, uh, it's, it's not great. It's not great anywhere. I think my concern is this, is that because we've become such an instant society, everyone wants everything instantly, right? We want instant fixes. We love our 3-second TikToks or whatever. Um, unfortunately, you know, society and politics, it's, it's a long game. And, you know, and things are changing. If you look at The younger guys that are coming up that are, you know, in maybe state senates, local congresspeople, like it's changing. Those people are coming up. They're slowly rising the ranks. The older generations of politicians that, you know, are completely corrupt, of course, they've been in there far too long. They don't really do anything anymore. They're leaving, which is good. And new people are coming in. So it's changing. It's slowly changing. But if you give up now, Then that's what they want. If you if you give up now, then we lose everything. But if you keep consistently voting, and it's they're not perfect; they're never going to be perfect. But trust me, they are so much better than the left. If you get a Democrat in 2028, it's so over, and that's it's really really scary.
So true. It's so true. Kyle, are you fixed? Yes, I think so. Right? Much better. Whatever it is, it's much better.
Yeah, so there's audio controls. It was like. really. I'm not familiar with the Rumble studio. I don't use that much. But anyway, thank you for having me on. I agree with, you know, what Thomas is saying that I, you know, I was looking at the vote yesterday where 8 Democrats went on the record for a House resolution to condemn socialism and to approve of the Save America Act. But if you go back to June, there was a much more sort of politically benign statement that was issued by a handful of Democrats. It was centrist Democrats, and it was brought to the floor, and 202 House Democrats wanted no part of it. They would not condemn socialism and approve of capitalism. But what I see from this is it's sort of exposing them that underneath this superficial politics that the Democratic Party has been espousing for a long time, There have— they have been socialists for decades, actually, and they've just been hiding it from the American people because— but they're more like Fabian socialists, more incrementalist. And, uh, these new DSA operatives, they're much more aggressive. They're much more, uh, interested in weaponizing identity politics, dividing society. Um, and in Mondani, you're starting to see the economic flip. So when you, when you talk about leftist theory, they have Superstructure, which is the culture, right? And then the base, which is the economy. For a long time, they've been working on the superstructure. If you look at Hollywood, for example, for me, a big thing is lies of omission. And that's where we have— that's why we have gotten to the breaking point where we are today, is lies of omission. So what they do is they never villainize Stalin, they never villainize Mao, they never villainize Pol Pot. They don't tell you the true history of communism and the threat it poses. And on the same, on the flip side of that, uh, in the media, the news media, they don't tell you about the downside of socialized medicine. They don't tell you about the downsides of, um, you know, the, the high cost of $40 trillion in debt and what that does to your budget and how it causes the affordability crisis. They don't talk very much about the fraud that has been going on. And so independent journalists have had to push very hard. On that side. And then on the flip side of that, they don't sell you the benefits of capitalism. They don't tell you that our grocery stores are modern masterpieces. They're like marvels that illustrate Adam Smith's, um, economic principles beautifully— the interdependence and how, uh, you know, there's just such a bounty and aplenty for Americans that you don't see around the world. There is a reason for that. There is a causal reason for that. It's because of our system of market exchange, private property, selling your labor as you see fit, and having incentives that reflect human nature. So you work because you see, uh, benefit from it personally. But what, but they have done is they are making it, uh, they're perverting human incentives to where it's become more of an incentive not to work, to defraud the system, to go on public welfare. And Mamdani is exploiting that, and they've ratcheted up the pain To such an extent in the economy for a lot of people, like the lower middle class, I would say the middle class is struggling, but they're like slowly bringing everybody down. And then they're offering the false— is this the bait and switch of socialism? Then they give you the false promise. But if you just check, if you're just a basically educated human being, you can go check the charts wherever government intervenes in any sector of the economy, no matter what. I saw a great chart from a redhead libertarian, Josie. She put it in. I actually talked about it at Red State a little bit where every sector of the economy where you see the affordability crisis, we're like getting worse and worse, worse. Government has intervened in it.
Like, Kyle, just go to your question because Thomas has to leave soon. So I want him to get it.
Oh, I'm sorry. But to go to your point, what do you see from the Labour Party in Britain that reminds you of the Democratic Party historically? You know, based on just what I've talked about, about culture, about the economy. What do you see that's the parallels there?
Yeah, I mean, there's, there's many parallels, as you mentioned. Um, I think I, I would say probably one of the most concerning ones is the Islamic takeover, um, that has totally happened and is completely happening, uh, behind the scenes. You know, even these characters like the Hasan Pikers, um, as much as frontwardly they talk about socialism, whatever, you know, behind the scenes they're totally embracing, uh, this Islamic culture. And it's so ridiculous because it's completely against what the left believe in. We are seeing this consistently. Um, I forget where it was. I think it's somewhere in Michigan. It's Ham— Hamatonic or something. I can't say the place. But anyway, they— the Islamic Council, uh, you know, very left-wing, all the Democrats supported, voted for them. They just announced they're banning pride flags from all of the— all government buildings and things like that. We spoke about actually on the Tim Pool Show And the left are like, "What do you mean? But we love our pride parades." And it's like, "Yes, of course they're not on your side. They're just using you as a vessel to get their power." And we've seen that the Labour Party in the UK has been completely taken over by the extreme Islamic left. Even our Green Party now has been taken over by them. It's happening here, and and you know, bless these lovely Democrats because they're so welcoming, and they think that you know we've got to. Protect our Muslim friends and, you know, they're so persecuted and all that. And it's like, yeah, they're very, very good at playing this game. And as soon as they get in that power, they're going to push you out and they take it all for themselves and they'll ban your pride, you know. And that's the worst thing for these Democrats. They're so upset. But I'm like, how do they not see this? This is consistently happening. But yeah, I think that's probably my biggest concern, um, for the left in this country now is the Democrat takeover. But also just these policies are crazy and they love— and this is my biggest concern, is that they sound great. They sound great. Wouldn't we love if everything was free? Like, it's great. I'd be happy. I'd be like, oh my gosh, it's a dream. Everything's free. They love promising this stuff, but they just can't deliver. It never works. I'm from a country where they've tried it. They tried to give us everything for free. Guess what? We get nothing. Everything sucks. You can't get a doctor's appointment. You can't see anyone. Uh, you, you know, barely can even get, you know, if you— I saw a recent one of this, uh, his wife was giving birth. It was ridiculous service. You know, the UK is crumbling because we've implemented all of these policies. And it's really, really scary if they do it in the US because once they get in, uh, they don't, they don't mess around. They are very, very quick to cement their power and implement their policies. Uh, and it's very hard to unwind that. All they need is 4 years. And you'll be in a very, very tough spot.
My one quick question before you run, I know you have to go, but do you see the US doing anything about this?
I do, because you guys are great. And there's, you know, you've got a really, really powerful group of right-wing people, right-wing guys, you know, across the country that are standing up to this. But you can see why they did what they did with the immigration. Um, because that, that's— they have to put that down. If they can get all of the, you know, hard-working men and women, um, from, you know, rural America, from the red states, to be outvoted by these new immigrants, um, that's the only way they can win. And that's what they'll do in the 4 years. They'll do a mass amnesty. Uh, I think— I mean, the numbers are crazy, but if you go out to anywhere around here, I mean, I, I wouldn't even— I don't even think I'd be out there saying there's 100 million people in this country that to be here. I think that's probably true. It's insane. If they make all of those people citizens that can vote, it's over. It's over. You will never get a, a Republican to win again. And that's what they've done in England. Every single one of these illegals in England is a citizen. And they do it very smart because what they do, they, they are— ours started a lot earlier than yours, so they've made them all citizens. So now these people, they're in the country and they'll come to these debates and they'll say, But my grandmother is a British citizen. My mother was born here. I was born here. And then it's like, fuck, that's kind of like, okay, I can't really deport you because you kind of are like, this kind of is your country, but you're completely against everything that we believe in. So it's very smart. It's a great tactic. It works very well. Once they're in, they're in. So you still have a good chance now of these deportations because they do. They're first generation. They've got elsewhere to go. But once they start having their kids and then their kids are having kids, That's it. They're here and, and then it's over.
Yeah. Oh gosh. I mean, it's so true, you guys. It's not about being Islamophobic. It's about being America first and keeping your country and your way of life. That's all it's about. Um, Thomas, I know you have another show to go to. Um, I, I hope you'll come back and I do want you—
Yeah, it's great.
Oh, good. And I do want you to meet Owen and Marcella also. They are the full-time co-hosts with me, but everybody had somewhere to go today. So, so Kyle was—
They're always happy to jump on. Good for them. Good fun to discuss these sorts of things.
Oh, good.
And hopefully people are— I mean, it sounds like you guys all agree with me from this chat over here, which is great. These are the guys that are going to save us. We've got to get more of them.
Yeah. Oh, yeah. The best chat, the best simultaneous sippers in the world. Scott created a great community. We love that you came on. We'd love to have you back for the hour when time allows so we can really get into some nitty-gritty. And Owen and Marcella are sorry they couldn't meet you today. And so happy Kyle could join us to be here.
Good to talk with you too, Thomas.
Yeah, I appreciate it. And we'd love to get more into this. You seem to be more on the British politics than me. I've given up on them. I'm like, there's no point, but I'll have to go watch the actual—
But maybe some other time because they're complaining about that. I was actually invited by the BBC for a short interview today. I was like, you know, I don't trust these guys. I went to the BBC. I was looking at the front page. like, oh man, they are hammering the propaganda. I felt bad for the Britons. I was like, oh man, this is such a mind warp that I can't even get into it.
Yeah, it's, uh, it's got to be very disenchanting. Yeah, it sucks.
But I appreciate you standing up and speaking out with common sense.
And, you know, only because I'm here because of your freedom of speech. I'd probably be in jail if I was saying this in England.
Well, we're so happy you're here speaking out.
It's so important that you have that. That little document has saved so many people That's right.
Amen. All right, thank you so much, Thomas. Enjoy the rest of your day.
I have to figure out how to get out of this.
Okay, I'll kick you right out.
Oh, perfect. There we go. Thank you so much.
Take care. Ah, he's great. I'm so glad he could come on. I'm so glad you could get in. Your mic is all jacked up, so—
I'm so sorry. I mean, I didn't see the audio thing. That's okay, we figured it out.
No, no, that's okay. Well, and now this mic is quiet. See, guys, this is, this is just the live streaming, right? So we're gonna get Kyle all figured out for his next appearance, I promise.
Yes.
So listen, we definitely wanted to continue the conversation, Kyle. You know, again, I'll say it again, and I don't even wanna have to say it, and I shouldn't have to say it, but it's not about being phobic about anybody. But when you're being literally invaded by other cultures that don't believe in your way of life in your country, You know, things start to change, and then there's people that wuss out and they're afraid to speak up. And you know, look at what he's saying. Like the UK is gone. He doesn't live there anymore. He you know nothing's working there. So you know here we are. Here we are. Yes, Andy, I am dressed like Queen Elizabeth. I did that just for Thomas today, and I skipped the tiara, although I do have a few upstairs. So anyway, I. I did want to play— I always like to promise a Charlie Kirk clip for people. There's a few people that always say, oh, if you have one, play one. And I do. And I just want to play this. And then, Kyle, we'll talk on the other side. And if there's— you're going to kill me, but if there's any way to fix your microphone, because it's as if you don't have one now, we'll work on that. And I'll press mute for you while we do that. Okay.
Is macro Islam compatible with Western values? Macro? Of course it's not. There are 3 major reasons why. Islam does not believe in freedom of speech. Islam does not believe in freedom of religion. And Islam does not believe in separation of mosque and state. Those 3 things are antithetical to the West. In a Muslim-majority country, you are not— most Muslim-majority countries, you cannot criticize the Prophet Muhammad. In most Muslim-majority countries, you do not have the same robust freedom of religion protections. And finally, whereas we in the West are very careful to try to intermix religion and state, they are commanded to actually go into the state and try to change the state to be more Islamic around the core pillars of Islam. And the last thing I'll finally say is I cannot see a single Western country that has become more Islamic and has become a better place to live, that is happier or Freer.
By what metric? Just happiness, quality of life?
Everything from quality of life, from cultural cohesion, from whether people want to live there, from, uh, from— I mean, prior to the native-born fertility rates. Again, people watching this will say, there are— is your criticism of the religion itself or not Muslim people? Because there are, there are British Muslims who have been born in the UK. You don't have to caveat it all the time. I know you guys have to because you're British and all that. A culture ceases to exist when you don't have unified language, when you do not have— when you cannot talk to your neighbor. I'm not discounting that there are good individual Muslims. The question that we need to reckon with the West is, is Mohammedism compatible with the teachings of Blackstone? Is it compatible with the legacy of Wilberforce?
All right.
And the great thinkers that have come from this country? And I will say no. There is a reason why when you go to these Islamic countries that you're not going to see the equal protection of rights, that you do not believe in universal human equality, that you do not believe the same things that we believe in the West. And I think it's suicidal to import millions of them. Yeah, and you know what, just on a passing point on that, it's most of the time, as far as I'm concerned, it's not even multicultural.
Because there was an example in— there was a school a few months ago during Easter which cancelled Easter celebrations out of respect for other faiths.
So it's not as if it's multi—
the word multicultural and multi-diverse doesn't include Christianity.
No, and again, this is the red-green axis, and Britain is at the forefront of this. You have The Marxists that infiltrated your government and the Islamists that are coming to your country. And when they combine together, they both agree on one thing. They have huge disagreements on a lot. They hate the West and they want to see it broken. Okay.
Boy, oh boy, do we miss him. That was our future president. And, um, so, so smart. So smart. So much common sense. And I'm looking in the chat at people saying like, God, I wish I knew more about him before he was murdered and, you know, could have got to know him. Okay, so Kyle, they said that your audio was good. I wasn't hearing it, so let's, let's hear you now. And what, what do you want to say about, you know, what, what Charlie's saying about everything we want to talk about today?
Well, first, rest in peace, Charlie. Um, you know, I was, I was invited by the BBC to talk about Charlie's legacy, but I will do it here instead. How about that? Because I trust you guys. So, um, You know, Charlie was great. He was a very temperate, considerate, thoughtful human being who was very generous and welcoming to everyone in his environment, including me. I did a number of TPUSA events with him. He was always very kind to everyone. And so the fallacy of all of this is that the liberals who invite Islamists into the country without vetting them, without really caring about their point of view, they are inviting in intolerant people while pretending to be the tolerant ones. But they're actually causing damage to our society because they were lowering social trust. They are Balkanizing our communities because what happens is the people who come here from Somalia, from Uganda, from Palestine, They are very tribalistic and they are very xenophobic towards Americans. They do not associate and mingle with white people to the extent that, uh, you would expect. And I know this because I've lived in a number of places, uh, in the United States and around the world. I've lived all around the country, as a matter of fact. And, uh, what happens is, for example, in Iowa City, there are hundreds of Chinese immigrants there, or Chinese exchange students and some immigrants, they were— they did not speak English. They did not treat Americans like their fellow human beings the way that a liberal cosmopolitan, uh, person would, uh, idealize. That is not what happens. Uh, what happens is that, uh, the cultural enrichment that they're talking about is simply people coming to the United States, and when we don't have a strong belief system in place, whether it be cultural pride or, you know, American patriotism. This is the fabric that held E Pluribus Unum together. We had a vested stake in the success of the United States of America and maintaining freedom, in preserving our market system, and in basically having these Christian values that was talked about by George Washington and some other founders that united us because that was about tolerance and that was about forgiveness. It was about having a civil society. And what happens is those people who come here, all of these views are not being held up in the culture to the extent that they used to. And so what is happening is it is fracturing our society. And I live in Dallas-Fort Worth. I see, you know, just thousands and thousands. It seems like it's 90% foreigner. It's really to that extent. I went to a graduation ceremony in Frisco. Hundreds and hundreds of people. It was essentially foreign names the entire time.
Wow.
And I'm looking around, everybody is nice. They're all good people as far as I can say. I'm not saying that they personally pose any direct threat to us, but the threat is not a personal one. It's a cultural fabric one. It's maintaining our institutions that preserve you know, preserve our freedom and our individual liberty. And what happens is when you have people from collectivist and tribal societies, they don't understand individual rights that well. They don't understand the concept of, you know, private property that well. In other words, if they come to the United States from Somalia and they're a refugee and they have all of these broken infrastructure in their country, warring clans and, you know, and murder and no sense of safety and no personal property, And they come to the United States and what they have offered to them is not personal responsibility and accountability and hard work and making your own way and getting your own home and raising a family and peace and prosperity. Instead of that is what's being offered is a handout, public welfare, scamming the system through NGOs, you know, different types of grips. We've seen this in Ohio and Minnesota and California. That's what's being offered to immigrants in this country. Who come here now. And that's why the illegal immigration system, that is the Trojan horse, that is the loophole, because the illegal immigrants who want to come to the United States, they're attracted to the idea of possibly pursuing the American dream, having success, fleeing from persecution or from broken political systems. And so that is what worked for America for a long time, was the legal immigration system to some extent. Now, if you can go back to the Hart-Celler Act, if you guys, you know, study history, obviously a lot of bright people here in this audience who love Scott Adams, obviously, and, you know, respected his intellect as I do. You know, the Hart-Celler Act sold by Ted Kennedy and LBJ on false promises, and it switched the immigration system from one based on, you know, Northern European, Western European types who come to the United States for hard work, you know, and, and to success and prosperity, to, uh, anything goes. Because it was like, you know, considered to be discriminatory by the, the Democrats mainly who sold it. And now it's Asia, Africa, places from very broken societies and political systems, very tribalistic, collectivist societies. And they're bringing that here at the same time that our media— well, essentially, they are not very patriotic. They are not telling people what America is about anymore. So I think that is really the threat to people like me. And I think when, just to really quickly pivot to the DSA that you brought up earlier, why are they attracted to Islamism? You'll have to forgive me for a minute. I have a little bit of academic sort of inclination for all of this. The left, for a long time, they don't tell you what they believe in. They tell you what they are against.
Mm-hmm.
This is, you know, known in theories like critical theory. I'm sure you guys have heard critical race theory, et cetera, right? You guys don't generally know what it is. You're, you know, you're criticizing America, you're criticizing capitalism, you're criticizing white males, the patriarchy, all of this. This leaves a void in the cultural ecosystem of the left. Islamism is very patriarchal. It's very domineering. It's very aggressive. It wants to conquer societies. And so there's a sort of, you know, it's like a magnet, right? Negative and positive. So they're kind of filling the void and they want to use them in their aggressive, violent, radicalist strains, or at least assertive strains in society to destabilize it, to push the identity politics, to break our system so that normalization, like the— our normalized system of politics breaks down. It becomes further distorted. And so they have more free rein to do the crazy things that they want to do, like Mom Donny is doing, or what Abdel El-Sayed wants to do, because they really want to push it so that we no longer have a sense of what is normal in this country.
Yeah.
And they're playing with fire, obviously, but they don't really care because They feel like American imperialism, colonialism is such a nefarious system that they justify it. You know, the ends justify the means. They're willing to, you know, the enemy of my enemy is my friend, and they'll fellow travel. And they just want to destabilize our system and break it down. And they just feel like they outnumber them at this point. But, and they're also fusing. I think that they're also being infiltrated. So The other thing I would say about this, Erica, is that their naturally internationalist socialist point of view makes them susceptible to foreign influence and potentially foreign subversion. And so the identity politics that you're seeing rise to the forefront really provides a great mechanism for those who want to infiltrate the Democratic Party, because what you, what you're seeing is at the local level, and like AOC has said, all politics is local. You— they're using identity politics and tribalism and this sort of false oppressed-oppressor narrative to, uh, to, to carve out local, uh, power bases. And they're using illegal and legal immigration to fortify that. And the people who are representative of that, um, or some of them are foreign-born or they're naturalized citizens from foreign countries. And they kind of embody the identity politics that they're, they're using to further their narrative that America, it's white supremacy, that if to have to believe in free markets or to believe in capitalism, I saw an argument on CNN about this. So it's very, very dangerous. And what they want to do is they want to provoke reaction. They want white males and, well, some females to be tribalistic and to be aggressive and to provoke Or to be provoked and to give them a justification to crack down or repress or to feed their narrative that white males are the problem.
Yeah. So here's the problem. So like we're talking with Thomas and we're talking about Ireland. I don't, I don't think you were in here at that point, but how the, okay, the, the people in Ireland are fighting back now. Okay. Because they're like, you're taking over our country. We need to do something. And as Scott would say, I was like, well, that's kind of like testing Small, right? So they're testing this small. Like if we fight back, can we regain control of our country? I don't know if you can when the media and the politicians are working against the country, which is just so bizarre to me. But we're seeing it here too. So then if you fight back, now they have their narrative. And so you know it's like this vicious cycle. But something I what do you think, Kyle? I mean, you know, I think about Jake Tapper. And he has, I think he has a daughter and it's just like, I don't know. Do you understand that your daughter has to live in this world? And if she wants to get married and have kids one day, your grandchildren are living here. I don't get it.
Well, on that part, I will give you the sort of justification that they have in their minds for all of this chaos. Uh, it basically stems back to World War II and it sent, it broke a lot of brains, uh, across the world because they had it in their minds that what caused World War II is just National pride, xenophobia, racism, discrimination, and that was the actual cause of World War II. World War II extends a lot deeper than simply ideas about bigotry. I mean, you look at World War I and what happened. World War I was not caused by bigotry. It was caused by national power struggles and declining empires, right? And then Germany, it was made vulnerable to the rise of Nazism, essentially because, uh, the, the, you know, the peace that they put in place was very harsh towards Germany, and, uh, they struggled a lot. So they were justified to have, you know, great power struggle. And so essentially the rhetoric there, uh, it was just a form of propaganda. Now, I mean, fascism and communism, they're— for me, they're 2 different flavors of ice cream. There's chocolate and vanilla, you know, pick your Preference, but they're just labels to— Activism. They're both, you know, insidious and harmful for different reasons. But the internationalism that they turn to, uh, is sort of the justification for all of this. They believe that if there's no such thing as different races— different, or I mean, if races are different nationalities— if we can get rid of the nation-state system and that, you know, race and religion and all these things are no longer um, uh, significant, like, you know, it's John Lennon's song Imagine essentially taken to an international level, uh, then if we break all of these different, you know, clans down, tribes down, then we'll just sing Kumbaya and it will be just like a—
No, we won't.
You know, like a big kindergarten where we'll have the elite teachers, the philosopher kings, uh, you know, telling us, you know, what's right and wrong and sort of the liberal international order. I— that's my, just my, you know, reading of how they justify this chaos to themselves. So the worse things get, the better it gets for them. And so breaking down all our institutions and disrupting our society is, uh, is fine to them because it all is— at the endpoint of all of this, none of this will matter. It's sort of this— we'll be in this like existentialist Utopia, uh, where we're just—
They really believe this?
What's that?
They can't believe this.
I think that is in the— and that is in the deep cultural residue. I think that if you go back, they look at the nation-state has failed. Let's just put it that way. The nation-state has failed. It's what caused all of these wars. And, uh, you know, the capitalist order, they also scapegoat that, right? And, and so just you know, um, money is the root of all evil, right?
Mm-hmm.
So I think that's—
in other words, that's just how they justify this. And, uh, they think they're the good guys. That's how they think they're the angels. That's, that's all I have to, you know, to summarize, you know, how did Jake Tapper think about it? Well, he's an elite in that he needs to, you know— I think there's paternalism involved. There's a deep sense of paternalism. My studies of Russia and Eastern Europe, paternalism That is an extremely, uh, you know, toxic combination with politics. And because what happens is when you have an elite that believes that they— that is their job to control and to, um, to shepherd the people, what happens is those people become weaker, more dependent, uh, more passive, and, uh, you no longer have a great country anymore. You no longer have a, have a good society over time because people are apathetic. People are not— no longer, you know, citizens in the true sense of the word, going back to, you know, Aristotle. You know, you're not engaging in the life of the, of the polity anymore, right? So you just become very passive. And so, uh, that's what happens when you have elitism. And you could look at it— our struggle right now is an elite trying to uh, an elite of so-called intellectuals. And I believe they're pseudo-intellectuals because, of course, they actually really learn from history. I don't— I really— there's some kind of causal mechanism there. They're too idealistic to the point where all the causal mechanisms about human nature—
Because they're, they're in their own tribe. They're okay.
Well, yeah, they just don't really think about how economies work. They don't think about how societies break down and how They— and for me, the dangerous part of it is they have stopped putting their energy and their intellect into improving society. They've turned it into, how do we break it down? How do we speed things up to get to that utopia?
Right.
And so they cause more pain and more distress to us, and they then— they think nothing's wrong. This is going as planned, you know. And so when we complain about decline Uh, it kind of falls on deaf ears. Like, they don't really— uh, they're not really, uh, persuaded by our complaints about the system not working for us anymore because they think the system itself is to blame.
Uh, yeah, I, I know. But you know what, it's so confusing to me because it's like they want to preach the moral high ground and we care about people. And, you know, I'll just say Republicans don't care about them and, you know, they only care about themselves. And I'm just like, no, you're doing that finger-pointing thing again. Like, you're pointing one finger this way, 3 are pointing back at Because if you cared about the people, you wouldn't be trying to like hit this utopia for yourselves where you're perceived by your, your utopian overlords to be a good minion. Because Jake Tapper and the news people are minions to the people who want this existential crisis to happen to the world. So it's like you don't give a shit about the people. You're only caring about—
They care about humanity.
They only care about how they look to their overlords.
Yeah, and that's why they don't care about individuals, for the same reason that we were just talking about, right? Individuals are, you know, what, what's the, what's the famous, uh, in order to make an omelet, you got to break a few eggs. So they don't really care about what happens to individuals that much. Uh, they care about narratives and propaganda, and essentially propaganda. And, uh, for me, it is, um, disappointing because when you study— like, I went to graduate school, I was like a PhD for like 5 years and met a lot of different professors who are very smart, high IQ people who are much better at like data analysis than I am, although I tried to learn as much as I could from them, uh, and, uh, worked alongside with them. I'm just thinking to myself, how can you be so intelligent when it comes to these things and not understand the basic trajectory of history and how things happen? I think there's just so many assumptions that get passed around in academia, and it, it, it, it becomes just an assumption that they don't really test anymore. I was just talking about this week on Red State or whatever. It was like Bill Maher had a university president from Wellesley on, Roth. He was talking with him about this and how liberal professors, well, they outnumber Republicans sometimes 10 to 1 on average, but in some faculties like at Wellesley, for example, was 30 to 1 in some faculties. And, and the idea, the argument was, well, if they knew about this bias, it would be, they would be policing it. And then Bill Maher called BS on all of this. And so I think like he is, he is sort of at least being a gadfly, which I really, really respect that. I, I don't have to agree with somebody 100% as long as they're being a gadfly and being thought-provoking.
Yeah.
That's what Scott Adams did. That's why I liked his content so much. We need that a lot. And, you know, it's kind of like playing the Socratic role in society. And that's really what I wish more intellectuals would do instead of just buying into narratives and being afraid to be a truth teller. Just if something doesn't add up to you, please tell everyone about it.
Yeah.
You know, instead of this sort of, you know, Klan loyalty to the woke tribe. Uh, you guys come across like you're in a cult. I mean, can you guys please, uh, just, you know, call a fact a fact and, and forget about the narrative for a while?
I mean, it's so true, Kyle. I just, I want to drive that home because it's really— I mean, all right, so listen, everybody that does not want our country to fail and slide into socialism and communism, yeah, we have to vote Republican. You just have to vote Republican, okay? Straight down the ticket. You just have to do it, um, and you have to show up and you have to do it. But it's really going to come down to, of course, independents, but Democrats. Democrats that are like, wait a minute, it doesn't feel right in my gut. It doesn't feel right in my soul. I don't need to cling on to this sinking ship because I have an ego and because I made myself a part of this, you know, so hard. And it was like, I'm anti-Trump. Okay, you're anti-Trump. That's fine. But he's not running again, you guys. So make it about the country and moving forward in the place you want to be. And yeah, call balls and strikes, you guys. If it doesn't feel right, there's a reason. And I am a person who loves to go with my gut. I don't really think I've ever turned myself in the wrong direction. Yeah, my gut is like, it doesn't feel right. I don't like going against my gut. I don't like going against my instincts. I listen. What kind of world do you want to live in? And so, and you know what, Kyle? I know I'm going over you guys, but I want to play this clip because Sandy, are you here? My little Sandy Candy sent this. Kyle, this is text, literally textbook communism. Their handbook. Listen to this. It's exactly what's happening. In 1943, the following directive was issued from party headquarters. Orders to all Communists in the United States. It read: When certain obstructionists become too irritating, label them after suitable buildups as fascist or Nazi or anti-Semitic, and use the prestige of anti-fascist and tolerance organizations to discredit them.
In the public mind, constantly associate those who oppose us with those names which already have a bad Smell.
The association will, after enough repetition, become fact in the public mind. Go back to your childhood. Sticks and stones. I, I, I can't even tell you, I don't give a shit what somebody calls me. Call me whatever you want, it doesn't matter. Like, as long as I'm true to myself, my morals, my values, where I'm going, it doesn't matter. So if your friends, your friends that are on the opposite side of you call you a name, so what? You know, are they your friends anyway? I don't know. So, I mean, is that literally— he's holding a textbook. So, right, it's just about calling people names and hoping that they do an about-face in what they're thinking.
You know, that does kind of go back to like the post-World War II order that we're still living in. And, uh, you know, they, they say that, you know, they're anti-fascists and they act like the most fascist people in the United States. So I would just say to the people in the media, you know, you were told to change the world, but if you really want to change the world for the better, start telling the truth.
Yeah.
And that's really my guiding light. Just tell the truth. You may be wrong, but I want to have an intellectually honest debate with people who think about these things seriously. So, you know, that's really like my, you know, my plea to people who work in the media. So if you don't mind, if I would just like say like that's also the theme of like one of my books. I'm still looking for reviews.
Hypernia.
Please review it.
Yeah, give it a go.
I just want thoughtful reviews from people who, you know, who think about these things. And that's really kind of a theme of the entire book. It's like erasing history and rewriting history, but it's sort of like a, you know, sort of a dystopian fantasy series framework, if you're into that sort of thing.
I love that. Yeah. But anyways, but Kyle, telling the truth is such an important thing. Let's put that plea out again to the media because that's all we want. So to the media, please tell the truth. Don't tell, you know, what you're told to say. I mean, especially if you can just have your own opinion, if you're lucky enough to have a podcast or a platform like X or blue sky or wherever you are, you know, tell the truth. You know what's really happening. You know you love this country. You're not moving to another country. So help us, like, be the person that stands out and says, you know what, I can't do it anymore. I'm going to tell the truth and blow the whistle because I, I don't know how it hasn't happened yet. I don't know if they have dirt on these people or blackmail, which they might. I mean, and if it's about money, that's so lame. If it's about your paycheck, that is so freaking lame. But be the hero and tell the truth. Also, I know you guys, you see my posts, I post a lot about that there's always churches burning down everywhere. It's happening in Japan now because they're getting a bit of an infiltration of illegal immigration now in Japan. So tomorrow we have a guest coming on. Steve Cortez is returning tomorrow, and I'm going to play the trailer for his new documentary. Let's just take a look. I mean, we just can't shut up anymore. So not that I ever do, but here's his trailer.
The Basilica and the Mosque, 2 structures, 2 houses of Blocks apart on a map, but oceans apart in worldview and in the consequences for our country. They bring their politics with them. They settle down and they're just like boomer leftists going crazy in these really wealthy enclaves where they're insulated from the consequences of the political party that they support. Awful immigration policies brought hordes of third-world Muslims to rural Maine, of all places.
The benefits programs have just gotten way, way out of control with the Medicaid fraud. The activities of Catholic Charities in Maine are indiscernible from a human trafficking organization. What we have is this murky term called asylum seeker. This is the term that the NPR crowd has created out of thin air, and they broke it on purpose. They broke it on purpose because it accomplished their objectives.
Oh, I'm so glad he did this. I like— this is a subject we can get down with too, because every freaking day another beautiful ancient church is being burnt to the ground. So odd. They never catch the arsonists either. Um, Kyle, what do you think about this latest, uh, documentary from Steve? Like, just the topic?
Well, I, I, I think that you're just going to continue to see an uptick of all of these, uh, sort of mysterious burnings that we've seen in, like, in Europe.
Right.
Uh, you know, in France, for example, a lot of, uh, churches were burned to the ground. It's just an example of, uh, you know, the intolerance that a lot of Islamists have. And, um, for me, it's just, it, you know, the idea of assimilation is, uh, you know, essentially just become, uh, passé among, uh, the, uh, The affluent, wealthy, uh, female liberals, you know, the awfuls. Yeah. And so, uh, I think that essentially, um, you know, we're just gonna continue to see these things. But the media, again, to go to the lies of omission, they always call this just sort of youths doing these things, or just man does this.
Teen takeovers. Yeah.
Just, just car. Like if somebody's driving a car. So I think that essentially they're trying to— and at the same time, they're trying to, you know, upplay anytime something, you know, if some right-winger, which I, you know, for me, a right-winger, the term sort of denotes to me someone who is some sort of redneck somewhere who is just like, you know, maybe racist or bigoted, whatever. But I see when I study the sort of the violence and the crimes, I don't see that a lot as the motivation for, you know, some sort of, you know, off-the-grid, you know, redneck somewhere. And I use that term affectionately. I'm from South Carolina. I'm allowed to use it.
Let's go South Carolina.
Yeah, South Carolina. So I'll use that in a joking way. I'm not trying to offend anyone. But essentially, I just think that, you know, most of this is done by Islamists. And I remember coding huge databases with terrorism, political violence in the world. I can't tell you, like, I almost never saw cases where it was just like legitimate. I mean, you see anti-government types, and anti-government is anything from anarchists to Antifa to, you know, it could be anything. And so the data can lie in this sense. So it's very hard to track these things. And so that's one of the reasons I think when uh, we see a case like this documentary, it becomes such a big deal because when you can document like the one case so thoroughly, I see that sort of become viral, you know, you know, with sort of— I wouldn't even call them conservatives. I would just say like non-leftists at this point.
Yeah.
Because I always feel like that's always overblown, how like right-wingers or conservatives get thrown into one bag as anyone who disagrees with the hard left. Uh, that's always kind of been a thing because like I would not call myself a conservative. I think the sort of the, the culture calls me a conservative. I don't, I mean, I don't know. I wish I had like the trans card where I'm just like, I know you have to call me what I am. But that's like a, you know, a radical individualist or something. I believe that, you know, we should have, uh, individual rights.
Yeah, there's nuance.
Yeah, yeah, exactly. That's my point. So I think that These, these video, these documentaries or these cases can be really informative, enlightening to just tracking everything that, you know, with the case and like also how the media reports it or twists it.
Right now, Kyle, do you have 5 more minutes?
Sure. Why not?
Okay. So I, you know, I just, I love this. Hung Cao, I hope I'm saying his name, is the new Secretary of the Navy that Donald Trump Uh, just announced, and he's an immigrant, and I didn't know anything about him, but I did see this clip of him. And let's talk about— let's just talk about the right mindset. Just take— let's just take a 3-minute look here.
This is the scariest sound you will hear when you live in a communist country. This is the last sound my parents heard when their fathers were taken away in the middle of night, and they never saw their loved ones again. That's the sound of losing your freedom, the sound of always living in fear. That's my family's real-life story. We escaped from Vietnam just days before Saigon fell to the communists. We were given a new life in the most generous country on Earth. America saved my life. I graduated from the United States Naval Academy. I earned a master's in physics and fellowships at MIT and Harvard before the left replaced merit with racial quotas. I spent my life trying to repay my debt to America, my country, our country, with 25 years of service in Navy Special Operations. operations, combat in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Somalia. But now our country has taken a dark turn. That's Joe Biden's Justice Department sending 2 dozen armed agents to arrest a pro-life activist in front of his family. That's Joe Biden's IRS raiding a gun shop and seizing thousands of records from law-abiding gun owners. Our names, Our addresses, our Social Security numbers. That's Joe Biden arresting his challenger in the next election, a former president of the United States. And now a different sound. That's the sound of someone breaking into your home or business, the sound of crime destroying our cities and communities. That's how it all starts. They let criminals back on our Millions of illegal immigrants pour across our border each year, including military-aged men from all over the world, and enough fentanyl to kill every man, woman, and child in this country. And the Biden family? Well, that's how it works in a dictatorship. The rules don't apply to the rulers. We are losing our country. You know it, but you also know you can't say anything. say it. We're forced to say that wrong is right. We're forced to lie. We can't let that happen. I've been all over the world. Believe me when I tell you, if America fails, there's nowhere else to go. I'm Hung Cao, retired Navy captain running for United States Senate. I still believe America can be the land of opportunity. I have an obligation to fight back against those who want to control our lives and disrupt our families. We need real fighters, not politicians, not bureaucrats, not keyboard warriors acting tough in a custom-made suit. No, not here in America. We must refuse to be intimidated. We must be fearless. I'm Hung Cao. I'm running for Senate, and I approve this message because I'm not done fighting for us.
Man, I mean, can we just get a million more of him in here? That is amazing.
Now, that's such an outstanding counterpoint to the identity politics we were talking about earlier, because when I was talking about foreigners and the Democratic Party, I was just talking about sort of their, their ideological viewpoint. I mean, they're apologists for socialism and communism. And then Every— I meet so many people from like Vietnam and sort of these, uh, you know, communist country, Cuba, whatever. They are some of the best, most patriotic people. And Hung Cao obviously is just like, he's talking my language because—
Hell yeah.
I've always found these stories to be so like— to pull on my heartstrings much more than all of these phony narratives that Hollywood pumps out. I'm saying, you want to talk about oppressed and oppressor? These stories of these, uh, communist refugees and I organized a conference at a, at a college in the Northeast for Hungarian refugees from 1956, and talking with those people, I mean, it was just astounding. And then I couldn't understand why, uh, the professors and the intellectuals were, were not so, uh, critical of communism and what it does to, uh, societies and the human wreckage it causes, the families it tears apart, that, you know, the, you know, the people who are silenced not just murdered, but their voices silenced and censored. And for me, this is the most egregious crime that you can commit against humanity. Uh, and so when I hear someone like that, uh, you know, running for Senate, the thing I love about all that is when someone talks like that, I don't doubt their sincerity. Because when they tell the truth like that in a very stark way and they're not afraid of the media, well, the media loses its power. And that's what I love about messages like this. And that's why I support people. You know, some of the most, you know, genuine based people I've met from, you know, have their families or they have fled from communist countries. And so that's a great counterpoint.
I think we're very lucky that he's now the new Secretary of the Navy. So, you know, good for him. And however he— okay, we will. I will carry you. However He did with his Senate race. I mean, this is where he's supposed to be. He's supposed to be the Secretary of the Navy. He is so impressive, and I just, I love his story, and I just want more of him here. And, you know, his family obviously raised him really well, and he's got amazing values and patriotism, and I'm proud of him, and I'm glad that he has this new position. So. Yeah, right. He got through MIT, right? So hard to get through. Tell me about it. And I love how he said, you know, Harvard and MIT before DEI was a thing. So that's right. Yeah, I love that. I was like, yep, he earned it. That's right. It's obvious that he did.
And then Lily Tang Williams, I saw somebody mention that she's also great. I like her a lot. Like, she's kind of the same, same mold, you know? Yeah, I mean No BS.
These are the stories we want to hear, you guys. And, you know, that's— so when, when Trump back in the day was saying merit-based immigration, that's what he's talking about too. You know, like people who really, they want to be here for the right reason and they want to contribute. Um, you know, even, you know, like even when people come here and they contribute with, like people say, like jobs other people don't want to do, I appreciate that too. Like that you're contributing. You're not just sitting there with your hand out, you know, work, pay taxes. Make yourself known, and like let's go. But let's keep this machine going. But don't come here and try to change it, and just like entitled, and you owe me, and now I want my laws brought to your country. I'm gonna burn down your shit and put our shit up. No, no, we're not having it. So I do have weak moments, and I do get nervous. And right now, after this podcast. I feel stronger. So, um, I want us all to speak out and stand up and be heard. And, um, definitely let's like go after the media too, to just start telling the truth because you haven't been. And it's so weird, it's almost like soap opera actors. Like sometimes I'll watch a soap opera or anything, a sitcom, and I'm just like, do they ever just like in the middle of their lines feel stupid because they're like 2 adults like pretending they're someone and they're like, we're just acting to each other? I'm crying and this is sad and whatever. And that's how I view our mainstream media, the corporate media. It's like you come on, you get your makeup done, you've got your producers, everyone's feeding you your lines, and you just willingly stare into the camera and lie. And you just fucking lie. Sorry, but I'm pissed.
Sure.
So start telling the truth. Okay. Um, all right, you guys, so we ran over. I dropped the F-bomb. I look like royalty today. So We're all over the place. So, Kyle, thank you so much. Thank you. It was fabulous. I'm glad we had time together, you know, just so we could really hear from you.
And it's always great hearing from you. And, uh, your audience is fantastic. Uh, I really like seeing all their takes. Such an intelligent audience.
The Scott Adams audience, nothing better, I'm telling you. Um, and also, please pick up Hypernia, you guys. That's— hold up your book again, Kyle.
So the second book will be out before you know it. And you guys, it's going, it's going way better. I think this is an amazing installment, uh, you know, so it will, it will be a game changer, I think. So.
So there's gonna be a second book.
Oh yeah.
To Hypernia. So get Hypernia now, you guys. Make sure that you leave reviews for Kyle. Also, reviews are very important. These are on Amazon, the reviews.
Yeah. Yeah. On Amazon. You know, I really value seeing, seeing people's, uh, feedback and so do other readers who go there. Yes. And it's like, oh, is this a good book or not? And it's like 4.5 outta 5. So. But, uh, you know, a few dozen would be great. More.
Yay. Okay, good. Yeah. So you guys, let's, let's take care of, of our people. So please do. I know Scott always appreciated reviews too. So you can still review Scott's books also.
Yeah. He has a biography coming out, right? Is that right?
Okay. So the biography update is Joel's part, who is the biographer, is done. Okay. So Joel is done. Now it goes into editing where Joshua Lysak will take it now and it might get trimmed down a little bit. Some little, you know, things might be adjusted, but it's done. Um, and it will be out in November. And there's also a couple of other things I get to tell you about soon. Not yet, but soon. But, um, listen, Scott lives on through all of us every single day. There's so many people out there talking about him constantly and posting his content and, you know, little spinoffs of like different things that he influenced. And it's a beautiful thing. So, you know, we're never going to let Scott's memory fade even a little bit. Okay, guys, that's why we're here. And, and please do join Locals, you guys. I'd love to see some of you on YouTube come over to Locals, which is scottadams.locals.com. And I asked, I asked Chester, my ChatGPT, to help me with the math because girl math. So if you purchase the year, which is $70 for the entire year, it's $0.19 a day. And if you want to go monthly, which is $7 a month, it's It's 23 cents a day to join Locals. So sounds like a decent investment in my opinion. So come on over. All right, guys. So, uh, Kyle, thank you so, so much again.
Thank you.
I really appreciate you being here.
Thank you.
And, um, appreciate the chat being here. And as always, we say thank you to Scott and to Shelley for allowing the show to continue. Um, it's improving and growing every day. So we see the numbers growing. We love it. So give us a like, a thumbs up. I'm wearing Jerry Seinfeld's puffy shirt for sure. And listen, as always, a closing sip to our beloved Scott. And if anyone wants to stay for an Akira song, I'll do one. And if not, you guys can jet. Okay. All right. To Scott. Kyle, up to you if you want to stay or bounce.
Sorry for causing the technical disruption there.
We love it. We love it.
I'm surprised.
Okay.
No, it's not. Not a problem. All right, we're gonna play.
I would love to stay. I probably should write some things. It's kind of. Go ahead.
Yeah, I kept you. I kept you after school today. All right, guys. We're gonna play Beautiful World by Akira the Don. Here we go.
Although the science says that your happiness is not that affected by your environment. That's not true. Your happiness is totally affected by your environment. If your environment is a loving family, you don't think you'd be a little bit happier than if you were sitting all alone in your little apartment like some of you are? I, I think it's absurd to imagine that changing your situation Situation won't make you happier. You don't think that going from poor, where you're you're panicked about eating, to well off—you don't think that that would make you happier because you didn't have to worry about starving? Of course I would. I guarantee it. Whatever makes you happy. So yeah, fix your physical exposure, meaning go outside, you know, make sure that you're around some beauty and that you're not looking at depressing gray things. I would even change my commute if it took a few minutes to go through more attractive places. If you're going to look at it every day, it's better to expose yourself to the attractive route than the, you know, fast industrial route. It's a beautiful world.
Love it, love it. You guys are hysterical. I love the puffy shirt comments. When I picked this little number out today, I was like, oh, they're gonna have a field day. I can see memes, I can see comments, and you guys did not disappoint. Never. All right, you guys, off and running now. So that was a great show, right? I mean, sorry for the rocky start with people coming in late and loud microphones, and that's why we like to do a little pre-show. But oh, it was tight today. So thank Thank you so much. Thank you, McNorman Crusher. Love you. So, oh my gosh. Bye for now, Bookish. Love you so much, girl. Um, please do pick up Hypernia. Let's definitely support our fam. And I'm so excited for the biography to come out for everybody to read it. Smart. Um, and those of you that asked yesterday, I saw in the comments after Stella's good. You know she's good. She's um she had a weird day, and that fall freaked me out during the show. But she's okay. I'm telling you, she doesn't know anything's wrong with her, which is nice. So she just keeps on trucking, and as long as she's trucking and she's eating and doing all of her kitty things, the per it's perfect for me. So you like the music on this one a lot, isn't it good? God, Akira. So good, you guys. It's just such a good vibe. My shirt's so fun. Thanks, Ashley. I know, you guys. Hung Cow, what an amazing human being. So good. So I'm really proud of him and happy for him and thankful that he is an American. So oh, Frank, I don't know what eating is good was in reference to, but eating is good. Oh, for the cat. Yes. Eating is good. She wants to eat all the time, you guys. Look, I have empty containers of food during the show. They, the two of them came in and were like, "We need to eat," so I had to drop food down for them. So yeah, that was fun too. Mike, you're here. Hit rewind. So thanks, Frank. Thanks for your concern, you guys. It's so sweet. It depends on what you're eating. Okay. All right, guys. So we'll say goodbye and. Steve Cortez coming in tomorrow. How fun is that? So Steve Cortez will be here tomorrow, and so will Owen and Marcella. So this morning Marcella texts me, and she's like, "I have a work thing." Da da da da da. And I'm like, "All right, we got this. Let's go. Not a problem." So we'll see you tomorrow. The home team and Steve Cortez, Uncle Steve Cortez in the house. Bye, guys.
