The Scott Adams School - 09/18/26 FRIDAY YAY! The Home Team finishes out the week

Erica hosts Marcella and Owen for a Friday livestream mixing casual banter with topical segments: a viral 80 km/h stunt video, Tesla's FSD speed limits, declassified UFO footage including Skinwalker Ranch, military threats to the seabed, and Victor Davis Hanson on immigration and the Constitution.
Chapters
We have kicked in. Let's go.
Good morning.
Look at them.
Look who's back, by the way.
I know, he looks as handsome as ever.
Owen looks refreshed after that vacation he took.
Yeah, that vacation.
Andy, Andy Wang had ideas about what you might be doing while you were gone.
He always has ideas about things like that.
Yeah, he wasn't far off. Good morning.
Waterboarding was included.
Waterboarding, yes, or a water park, something. Okay, good. Now we are up here. Let's give another couple seconds for YouTube to get a couple more people in. Oh, good morning, everybody. Can you believe it's Friday again? I say this every Friday, but I cannot freaking believe it's Friday again. Yowza. Hello, Metal Seer.
Oh, Metal Seer misses you.
Metal Seer always misses me more than his vocabulary could describe. See, I read all the comments. Lang. Okay, so it looks like a bunch of us are in here. Are we ready for a Friday sip? Yes, we are.
I think we're ready. I can hear them.
Okay.
BJ Dichter is talking about his boobs. I think we're ready.
Oh, BJ. Interesting. Okay. Um, and I want you guys to know I'll be sipping behind the scenes. And yes, my coffee, it's the top third, hot and frothy. So excited. It's the best sip of the cup. All right, let's do it.
How in the world can we enjoy this day more than we're going to enjoy it anyway? Well, I can think of one way, and it's called the simultaneous sip. And all you need is A cup or a mug or a glass, a tank or chalice or stein, a canteen jug or flask, a vessel of any kind. Fill it with your favorite liquid. I like coffee. And join me now for the dopamine hit of the day, the thing that makes everything better. It's called the simultaneous sip, and it's going to happen right now.
Go!
I love a sip from the top third of the cup, you know, when it's sort of hasn't been there very long. It's got that fresh, perfect warmth. Oh yeah, that's how good a day today will be.
Okay, I'm gonna tell you something right now. Okay, listen to me. I am going to tell you something right now. So what was that Monday's clip?
Yes.
I think that was Monday's clip. Okay, so Jay Plemmons makes these clips for me, and we load them in, and we have a whole process, and we use Google Drive and blah blah blah. So I only had 4 clips pull over, so I said to Jay, oh, I don't know where the 5th clip went, that's so strange. So he's like, oh, that's weird, I'll resend it. So he sent me a clip last night, I put it in, it says Friday, I write Friday on it. I had no idea that that was so weird. Okay, just saying, that was so weird that he accidentally sent the clip that I played from Monday that I probably was supposed to play whenever. Who knows? I don't know. But there it was.
Okay, simulation, Erica.
Sometimes it's just funny. Sometimes it's just funny.
Mm-hmm.
So I hope you guys enjoyed your top frothy sips if that was your case. Anyway, I am Erica. Welcome to the Scott Adams School. And today the home team is together again. It's Marcella and Owen. And back for Friday.
Hello, everyone.
Yeah, Owen, we missed you. Did you have a good couple of days off? How was it?
I did. It was good. It was, it was all work mostly, but, you know, kind of work slash social because I was meeting people that I don't normally see. I even met someone on my own team that I— it was the first time I met him in person. So it was good.
Good meeting teammates.
I'll fan the flames of Andy's conspiracy theories. We had Mediterranean food, so I had some tahini and hummus and Various Mediterranean food.
Lucky for you, we can't see the jet lag on your face, so that's amazing. Or actually, we don't really know where you are.
Yeah, yeah, you may still be there.
You never know.
Lemon Minty said, hi, Flat Owen. Um, that's funny. Okay, so you guys, wacky show for you today because it's just gonna be like a circus of Nonsense and clips and news. So where the dial lands, nobody knows. But but I do know I wanted to show this to you physics freaks. Okay. Does anyone know what eighty kilometers is? Like a speed eighty? I don't. I don't know. You know, I don't do that. BJ will answer me. But this is a guy putting his faith in his friends doing physics properly. Okay. So this is. A guy getting launched at 80, about 55-ish. Okay, he's getting launched at 80 kilometers while this truck's going 80 kilometers. Look, ready?
Two, one. No busting, no busting, no busting. Badass, badass. No busting, no busting, no busting.
I was like, dude, a helmet, anything. But I guess they had faith. That's pretty crazy.
I'm guessing that wasn't the first try.
Oh, you think?
Well, I mean, I don't know. I would, I would probably have tested it with like a, an object first to see, you know, did it roll? Did it skid? Did it get close to standing still? Like, you know, you'd probably test it with not actual people first, unless you are insane. And who knows, maybe they were.
Oh my God, Chunk says now he gets clobbered by a car following. That's what happened to the first 3 test runs. Um, that's, that's cool. So yes, Lang, it is a couple years old, but it's new to me. So what's the dip? I love it. Um, I love when guys do stuff like this in particular because they're so like adrenaline junkied up, like guys have all that like testosterone and they're like, whoa, yeah, yeah, I love that.
Did you watch the Jackass movies?
I watched— no, I didn't watch the movies. But when it was on, whatever it was on, I saw some of it. But then I'm like, oh, these guys are just gay. And they don't have another way to express themselves. So they do Jackass.
That's one way to look at it.
I mean, I was like, what are you like? I don't know any guy friends who are like, let's get naked. And you know, whatever.
So you, so you want your, you want your crazy people to have sex with you? Or at least want to.
What?
Yes, yes, I do. Yes. You know, or potentially if they had to, that, that wouldn't freak them out.
Yes. Okay.
Oh, and take it left, why don't you? Good Lord. Yes, I want crazy people to be straight. Yeah, like, I don't want to see men that want to be like— I mean, you could be gay and naked and do what you want, but Don't pretend you're not gay and naked when you're the Jackass guys. Like, there's no reason to take your clothes off. I'm just saying. So, oh Lord, Owen. Marcella, anything about—
I mean, are the Chili Peppers gay?
I don't know, maybe.
The band or the actual chilies?
Okay, the band, the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Because he wears the sock.
Yeah, the ones with the sock.
I mean, I don't know.
They have a lot of groupies and they're women, so I don't know.
All right, so the guys in the chat, the straight men in the chat, would you strip down naked and put a sock over your member and just hang out with your friends and like play music if you were sober? If you were sober, let's leave it that way. Okay, just saying.
Um, I don't know if they were sober.
Frisky Friday.
Owen, don't you have to go somewhere? I think you have to be somewhere. Oh gosh. All right, so it is Friday. Yay. So, all right, here I have another clip going right into Trump on electric boats, which is a big no.
During the campaign, driving the press crazy, but people found it sort of amusing. I said, so if I'm in an electric boat and I see I'm going down, And the water's pouring in. So I know I'm going to be electrocuted. But 5 yards away, there are sharks. Do I take the electrocution or do I go swimming with the sharks? And you know what my answer was? I'll take the electrocution. Okay? I'll take the electrocution. But he didn't know how to answer the question, Johnny. He said no idea. And, but what I did do is it didn't matter because I ended that nonsense. That was another mandate. They had to have all boats be electric. And I asked the guy simply, I said, well, yeah, that's not happening.
Nobody wants an electric boat. But I guess he's more afraid of sharks than electrocution. Marcella?
I don't think that can happen. I mean, obviously in an accident anything can happen, but it's not like that. It's not like if it rains, my Tesla is going to electrocute me, you know?
Oh, new fear unlocked. No, I mean, you don't get electrocuted from the power, do you?
During the rain.
I think the risk with some of the EVs is the fire. As I understand it, because it's like really, it's, well, it's, it's apparently it's like really hard to put out a fire if one of those things starts on fire. Like they just have to basically let it burn.
Mm-hmm. Uh, no, Sean, you don't see me in an electric boat. I like your answers in here. So some people are saying I'd fight the sharks, take the sharks every time. I want the— an electric boat.
Okay.
All right.
Interesting.
I don't think you should demand for boats all to be electric. I think you can choose if you want what you want, you know. I mean, you guys talked about that demand.
Boaters, like, where's my boat? I know who you boaters are in the chat here. Can you imagine you had to charge your boat? I mean, that's so hilarious. Uh, no. Anyway, but I, I do think we did find out one of Trump's fears on there, which are sharks.
Have you swum with sharks?
Have I what?
Have you swum with sharks?
I probably have and didn't know.
She lives in New Jersey, so she does that every day.
That's how we dispose of things here in Jersey, Owen. We feed it to the sharks.
I have swum with sharks, but they were specifically safe sharks to swim with.
Toothless?
Like, they were nurse sharks and hammerhead, I think.
Oh.
And they were— it was, it was a, it was a vacation thing on some resort, and they had that as one of the activities you could do. And it was like something where it was in the ocean, but they had like put up some kind of nets or something so there was a safe area, and they had a whole bunch of sharks in there, and they knew they were the right kind of sharks. And but it let you swim with sharks, like you got that experience of just swimming around and seeing a bunch of sharks. It was kind of cool.
Interesting. All right, well, um, I don't want to knowingly, but you know. Oh my God. Oh no, Nikki, don't start with the Baby Shark song.
Oh my gosh, it's in my brain now.
That's as bad as Cars for kids. Okay, Scott says get out, get out, get out, Baby Shark song. Okay, and no one sing it, will be demonetized if you can believe it. Oh yeah, yeah. Um, okay, so, oh, oh, another good Exciting win for— I love this. This is a peeve of mine. Lee Zeldin. We don't talk about Lee Zeldin enough, but, ooh, listen to this.
Sold on dealer lots all across America. And as a cherry on top, we are ending the federal government's push to get manufacturers to install that Obama switch, the almost universally despised start-stop feature. There will be no more climate participation trophies awarded to manufacturers. for making Americans' cars die at every red light and stop sign. It's over, done, finished. Under President Trump's leadership, vehicle manufacturers can once again build what Americans want, not what politicians and bureaucrats in Washington demand.
That makes me happy. Marcella, you don't have this problem, do you?
I had a car with that. And I hated it. I had to always— because once you press that button, it doesn't stay pressed. So every time I had to drive, I sometimes would forget to put that, and I would be at the, you know, the red light, and then I would be like, oh, I hate— you know, you know, I gotta race the other car and be faster than them, of course. And so like, oh man, I have to—
Like, I'm delayed.
And remember to press it. It's just like Why is this? I should have called it— when he called it the Obama button. Yeah, beautiful, beautiful.
I mean, isn't that like the default mode on an EV though? So if you have a Tesla, like, obviously it's not running when you're stopped.
It's always running, actually.
But it's like, if it's electric, it's not like spinning the motor while you're stopped, is it?
It's always running, but it's like, it's never not running. Yeah, it's like Like, it takes time.
No, I get that, that there's no like delay for— because you don't have like a starter and you don't have to like—
I don't have a— I don't have a regular engine.
I'm just saying like it's kind of— because I have a hybrid and I think it does do this.
Like, it's not the same.
If I stop at a red light, it'll just like, you know, the engine will stop running. Yeah. And I don't even know if there's a setting for me to turn it off, frankly. But like, especially when it's in EV mode, it's like, well, yeah, it's just gonna— I mean, it's not gonna like waste electricity running a motor or idling it because there's nothing There's no reason to do that. But it is an instantaneous startup on the electric side.
So—
Not in a BMW if you have that. So in a BMW, if you have that, you're just like— and then it's like, OK.
Yeah, if it's a regular motor car, I understand.
So I'd like to say the button's not a problem for every— not everybody hates it. I hate it. I don't know why. I'm like, leave me alone. I didn't ask you to do this. And Marcella does drive. Fast. So she—
do I?
I drove really slow with you guys.
Well, I mean, but—
oh my gosh, how driving is.
Didn't you say you put it in Mad Max mode?
Yeah, like beast mode.
Yeah, but Mad Max can only go up to 80. My car can go up to 150 miles per hour or 160.
I, I, I think we— I think we need to stop here to keep you from getting in trouble.
Um, does anyone know a lawyer?
No, that's just the, the, the, the, the, you know what it is. I've never gone that way because I don't drive anymore. I haven't driven since October of last year. So FSD only allows you to go up to 80, if that. That's really rare.
Can you turn that off though?
Yeah, I can, but then I would have to drive. Oh, I cannot. I cannot turn that off if it's on FSD. It's like it's a setting, like you can't do it beforehand.
Do you think we're headed to where— do you think we're headed to where the Teslas are going to become like Waymo, where they won't eventually— won't even have a steering wheel and you won't be able to drive it?
Yeah, I think— I mean, I think that there will be a choice. I think some people will still want to drive, kind of like people still want to ride a horse. Um, but eventually it will, you know, it will dissipate. It's, you know, any new technology, that's how it is.
Well, I'm just like, the way it is now, like, you're there as the driver and it makes sure and it requires you to be ready to take over at any moment, right? And so it expects you to know how to drive. And but if somebody like younger grows up with a Tesla and it's always doing full self-driving, they're not going to learn how to drive.
No, they're not. And no, like they can't write, they can't do a lot of stuff. It's kind of strange.
I mean, they can learn, but most likely they won't need it. It won't be—
I'm just saying, like, you know, as a parent who's had kids, and obviously all of us were one at one point, like, when you're 16, you know, you're kind of dangerous on the road, like, especially when you're on your own for the first time. And, um, it takes a couple years, I would say, to get good at driving. And if you don't have those 2 years because the car is driving itself, then you're always going to be a bad driver. And if you suddenly have to take over, it might be A pretty dangerous situation.
Yeah, it's totally valid. Or maybe you don't offer the FSD till people until they're like 25, you know, like you've had to have been driving for X amount of years first, like with a license or whatever, something. But who knows? Um, I'm just glad that that button is going away. It annoyed me.
I want to know if they got rid of the kill switch though.
Oh well, no, you have to get an old car for that, which I'm in the process of looking for one. I want like a 1980-something station wagon, like with the wood paneling on the side.
Like the old Broncos.
With the stinky vinyl seats and the radio dial and the windows that you roll down. I'm looking for one of those.
Where the seats are 150 degrees in the summer?
Yeah. Yep. That's the one.
Burn yourself when you sit down? Yeah, I remember that.
Yes, yes, yes, yes.
The good times.
The remote kill switch bothers me a lot more than this stop-start motor thing. So I would have hoped that they would have gotten rid of that.
Well, let's let's push that next, you guys. We can do it. We can do it. All right. So let me move on. The other day, I was saying that I was talking about the moon and how Elon's got his next you know launches going and NASA's doing their thing. And I was like, oh my god! Once again, we're in a race to the moon with China, and it's like who can get there first? And like. You know, are we going to be battling it out, you know, on the moon? Probably. And then General Cain says this.
Today, my brothers and sisters, we must be clear-eyed about the environment ahead. Future conflicts will demand that we operate without the assumptions of uncontested access, secure rear areas, or uninterrupted or uncontested sustainment. Our task, my friends, is to adapt right now so the joint force is prepared to fight, endure, and win in global contested environments from the seabed to cislunar space. The demands right now on our joint force are not theoretical. We have—
So he goes on to say, you know, like So interesting enough, he said the seabed. Seabed. I'm like, are you maybe alluding to the fact that these UFOs and other life forms are coming from the seabed? Because we have been hearing a lot about the seabed and that objects are coming up from under there. Again, a new fear when I'm in my boat. I think about this all the time. And I know Walter Kern assured me that there's probably not something that's going to come up and snatch my boat and pluck us underwater. But I don't know that. But yeah, so we're going to have to now consider seabed, planetary, you know, space wars and everything else. It's just so much to think about what our future looks like. Owen, what are you thinking?
I've said before, I think it's like every science fiction movie is coming true at once. It just seems like— I mean, they just changed the Space Force uniforms to look just like Starship Troopers, and they said it was based on that. And, um, they admitted we have space weapons now. And, you know, now you're— they're talking about seabed threats. Like, what would be down there? Are they saying that China and Russia have something down there, or are they alluding to something else, like you said? So I don't know. I, you know, I, I guess you could speculate all you want, and it could even be a distraction again to just be like, oh, let's think about this. So you're not thinking about what's on in Iran or other places, but hard to know.
But didn't it feel like he just kind of glazed over seabed, but it was like, well, there it is, seabed. And I was just like, what? What? Marcela, you ready? Are we joining into this force? Where are we going, space or seabed?
So for some reason, I thought this was the announcement. So the US confirmed earlier this week or last week that they have deployed a weapon in space. By Space Force, Troy Manek said that there was a weapon deployed. They didn't specify what it was, but it's out there. I don't know what it can do. I don't think they they would tell us anyways. But in regards to the CVID, I imagine that ran another possible China or Russia or something. There's the the put in the mines and, uh, some kind of bombing thing. So, because remember, we're talking about the Strait of Hormuz as well, and that's happening there too. So I, I don't know, but there's aliens too, so who knows.
Um, I wasn't thinking of mines. Is that what you thought, Owen? I, I was thinking more like, like something's already down there with like a little war village.
Probably more complex than a mine. That's what I'm thinking he was thinking.
Yeah, I guess I would just say, would it been a nice follow-up question to say, what are these seabed threats that you're worried about?
I'm gonna dig into it because it's freaking me out. And you know what, when all that drone stuff was going on here in New Jersey— and just a reminder, if you did not know me then, because we were doing most of this on the, on Locals with Scott, like we would do man caves at night, and Scott's like, all right, Erica, give us your drone update from New Jersey. Um, the drones were really wacky, and the thing was, it So freezing out. It was dead winter, like freezing. And they were out over the ocean, but it was like, what? You couldn't fly, in my opinion, a drone. Like, Scott was trying to say to me, like, oh, they're probably people with their own drones. And I'm like, no, it's not. They're huge. They were like kind of like the size of a car, let's say. And they were way out over the ocean. And then they would like come in toward land. And I was like, they're either coming from a boat that's Sitting out in the ocean. Like, I was picturing like a— almost like a carrier, you know, something that they're lifting off of. Because again, they were like the size of a car, and like they would just kind of hover. They'd move sideways this way and that way. But it— and then people were saying like, you know, they— that there were no boats out where they were seeing them, and that maybe they were coming up from under the water. And that was the first time I really considered it. But there was a lot of chatter from people that were like, yeah, no, this is— This is a thing, you know, where we think things, you know, maybe UFOs as we know them are coming up from underneath. And, you know, we were saying that with Walter Kern also, like we were told, oh, look up in the sky. And he's like, but maybe it's not coming from the sky. So, you know, it's just something to keep our eyes on. It was an alien. And you know what? I'm going to go right to this clip anyway for saying that. And then Marcella, you're going to react first. Let's listen.
I was summoned to an office in the West Wing yesterday for a private briefing about these files that you're about to see on your screen for the first time ever. Let's show the first clip. It was taken by a Navy aerial photographer. His name was Delbert Newhouse. It was taken along a Utah highway. If you look closely, it looks like a drone swarm, but there were no known drones in the sky when this video was taken in 1952. I am told they took the first and only copy of this film. They found it in the National Archives. It has been digitized into 4K to be released right here for the first time today. The second clip we have, taken by a law enforcement officer's iPhone along a busy Colorado highway 3 years ago. The officer's narration and some nearby buildings Have been redacted. I heard the unredacted version, though, and he is describing multiple orbs hovering over a sensitive military installation for 15 minutes at a time. This one was three years ago. And then we have a third clip taken by a drone over the Middle East last year. It shows six objects flying in formation, destination unknown. The Pentagon looks at this. They say they do not know what they are looking at on the screen. And then there's this: there is a newly declassified copy of an expense report, a line-by-line expense report going through the $22 million that the DIA spent to investigate repeated years-long claims over something called Skinwalker Ranch, claims of extra things in the sky, UFOs, UAPs.
Right.
Harry Reid, before he passed away— this was in 2008— got $22 million to investigate this. Officials now are telling me, senior White House officials are telling me, they cannot find any copy of the records. They've got all the proof that this government contractor was spending $22 million to do this investigation, but when folks high up at the White House, who can just pick up the phone and say, I need a copy of those records, make the call, they are being told that if these records were created, they are either lost or something happened to them. So somebody has them. They are not available to White House officials right now, which kind of seems like one of these UFO movies where it gets to the Oval Office and the president has to be told that there are certain things that are too classified even for the president. But we should stress Again, officials do not know what the objects are in these videos that are going to go wide online after this report at UFO or at war.gov/ufo.
Sure.
Okay.
So yes, everyone heard they said Delbert. We were like, Delbert? Dilbert? So between Delbert and this Skinwalker Ranch. All right, Marcela, take it away.
I mean, I, you know, a lot of the people in the chat are like, you know, they, they think that maybe it's just a way to distract us from other news stories. But I, I do believe in that there might be this other— if it's alien, if it's another, um, scientists or any other type of country that's doing this, but it's out there. Um, I've met lots of people that have seen it. I've seen it myself, um, and I could not explain it. And I saw it with other people with me.
Same, me too.
Just by myself. Uh, of course, this was— I didn't have a cell phone with me, and I wish I would have. This is before cell phones, I guess. I mean, cell phones were around, but I just I was poor, you guys. I didn't have money.
Oh, Marcella.
So I didn't have one. This was in college, uh, and I, I don't know what to make of it, um, and it could be potentially experimental, but in the '50s, I don't know. Maybe they were talking about like, uh, um, weather balloons. Something like that. I don't know. I mean, you couldn't explain it, but you know, the president has all these— this access to all this information to declassify. And somehow you could view— in my mind, I viewed like government worker, like that's worked there forever. And it's like, oh, I can't find it. I can't find it. You know, and it's some Somebody said it's in a burn bag. Is that what they're called? Somewhere. And, you know, it's just very incompetent, possibly incompetence that they can't find the documents. And all of a sudden the aliens take over.
What do you think, Owen? Owen, you said you've never seen anything like this, right?
No, I haven't personally. But I'd certainly like to if they do exist. But I haven't had any experiences like that.
I don't know.
I mean, I it's hard to know what's true. I think there certainly is a lot that I think has been hidden, but I think it's you know this whole thing is one of those things where I think Scott used to say we're never really going to know the truth. We're never really really going to know what's there, and that he certainly wasn't convinced. And I think it's for good reason because even the stuff we just saw, it's like okay, we saw some greeny footage of some dots in the sky, and we saw a really dark picture with. some kind of light and that's it. Like, that doesn't prove anything.
And so, but Owen, if you've never— so I personally twice have seen with other people, um, in, in the day, not at night, daylight, full-blown. I could not even tell you what it was I was looking at. One of them in particular, we had cell phones, but I was on a jet ski, so I didn't have it on me. But I was with my friend and we stopped the jet ski and we were like, what the hell is that? It wasn't even going fast. It wasn't like— like, if we had our cell phones, we could have fully filmed it up close, zoomed in on it.
It's huge money too.
Oh my God, it was the weirdest thing. We still talk about it today. And I'm like, we saw that, right? She's like, we 1000% saw that. And we talk about what it looked like and everything else. And it was really slow and it was really low and it was It actually looked like a railroad tie. Like it looked like a railroad tie. It was the weirdest thing. And it was just kind of going like this. And then another time I was at the beach and it was like a kind of like a hazy day. And a bunch of us were like, what the heck is that? And it was, you know, people were like, oh, it's probably a weather balloon. It had nothing to do with a weather balloon, but it was more of an orb shape. thing. I was younger then, but we were— there was like 100 of us all going like, what the hell is that thing? It was like very, very bizarre. So then I—
Um, what I saw— so I've seen that, but what I saw was in front of me. Like, it was a giant orb in front of us, like eye level, and it caused— um, there was nothing, um, and then it flew up. You know, so it's like that definitely was not anything that I have ever seen. It looked like, um, and I was not alone and I was not medicated or anything like that. I don't, I don't do drugs or do even alcohol. Um, and it was very large. Um, and it glowed like, and then it, it It went up and then it just went away. And to this day, we don't know what happened. But I wish I would have had a camera because then you guys probably would be like, okay, that may be something then.
Yeah. Yeah.
From that point on, Marcella just started acting different and no one could ever explain what it was.
Glitching. Yeah. Oh my gosh. So I think it, you know, I think of course We'll always speculate. We'll always wonder. We know we don't know nearly a fraction of the things the government is keeping from us. I don't need to know everything, honestly. But it is, you know, it is kind of annoying when so many people have seen something that they can't explain. And it's like, let us just, you know, give us a little more.
Why not? If the stories are all true and we have you know, 3 different kinds of aliens visiting us and like all this stuff is actually happening. You know, we actually have biological proof there were, you know, live aliens we've somehow communicated with and all this stuff. How would that change your life? Like, would you be— would, you know, would it— because like, I think the speculation was that they couldn't tell us because people couldn't handle it and it would like ruin the economy and it would like be almost like an end of the world scenario.
Like hysteria.
Yeah. I mean, do you think that would be the case with you?
I don't think it needs to change my life one way or the other. I just think I, I think I just want to be like, okay, valid. Like, I, I am seeing things. Like, we're not crazy, you know? Yes, there are other things out there. Like, just be like, yeah, we know, we know what a lot of them are. Some of them are friendly, some of them are you know, not— some of them are gathering information, but it's that whole like, don't tell the, the little people, like just let them, you know, just let the good people—
The panic would be enormous. Erica is a brave, uh, intelligent woman, but I mean, the majority— we're talking about the people that still wear masks to this day about COVID I saw, you know, so it's like crazy, like you just hear about some virus over in China, and it's like people are like closing their doors. They're putting like, in order to talk to the neighbor, they post like a note to the other neighbor. I mean, and that's not even aliens invading us. So I can only imagine how they would react if aliens were invading, which, you know, I don't know.
Well, maybe they're not invading, but they've just always been around, you know.
Exactly. I mean, they would take it as invasion.
Right. But if we've been seeing them since, let's just say the '50s, and it probably goes back further, who knows? Um, you know, and nothing happened yet. It's just like, yeah, valid. They've been, you know, there's been all different kinds in and out for all these years and we've all been fine. You know, I don't know, but whatever.
Would you be freaked out more if it was like an actual alien civilization from somewhere across the universe, or if it was some kind of ancient civilization that was here forever?
I'd be more freaked out if it was like China, but yes, I honestly, you know, like an invading country than I would be a different civilization because I just, I can't say for sure that I believe there's this other civilization, but I do really freaking wonder how a lot of things got here. I mean, like what iteration of people are we at this point on this planet? Because I mean, there are an You know, phenomena out there that have been around for so long, and how did they get there? Yeah, like the pyramids and everything else. So I don't know, were there giants back then? Some people said there were giant people back then. There could have been, like, who knows? Civilizations have been wiped out and what was left. So I'd be more afraid of like a hostile country than I would like an ancient civilization or Alien life, I, I think, I think, because it doesn't seem like they've done anything to us yet.
And, and I know Scott Adams was very skeptical of all this, but he definitely enjoyed Grant Hemcock, which was, um, you know, he enjoyed the theories of all this. He enjoyed Erica, uh, being our journalist in New Jersey, but obviously, uh, he was more of the mind of Owen and skeptic of it and there always being another explanation. But he enjoyed Graham Hancock, which was, uh, he looked into ancient civilizations being built by, by, uh, you know, or having some kind of control, right? So over by aliens and stuff like that, because there's Mayan, um, hieroglyphics and, and depictions of flying machines. Um, I think Some other— besides the Mayans, there's some other theories, uh, in Egypt and all over the place. And how did they build all these things perfectly? And so on and so forth.
I told you we didn't know where this show was going to go today. Um, I mean, we're all over the place. I kind of like it. Okay, so, um, moving on. So you guys, yes, I do know it's Victor Davis Hanson. I have a friend named Victor David, and sometimes I say David instead of Davis. I'm sorry, but I do have a clip of Victor Davis Hanson, and let's just chat. Let's just chat on the other side. No, no reason to set it up.
What blind spots do you think our founding fathers had?
I don't think they ever imagined that we would be bringing people from all over the world without audit, without acculturation, without assimilation, without integration. And they would immediately believe in the Constitution and Declaration rather than attack the country almost. I mean, if you look at Rashid Tlaib, or you look at Ilhan Omar, or you look at Zohran Mondami, or you look at El-Sayed, or you look at Chevalier, or you look at this socialist in New York that people have been talking about, or you look at Hasan Piker, there is a There is a similarity. They're either first or second generations, which is fine, but they come from failed states, which is understandable to want to come to the United States. But they're also very wealthy. Their parents are very successful. And yet, as first or second generation immigrants, they don't, they don't show a graciousness, a gratitude to the host. They come over here and they do very well. But they're completely exempt from criticism. They plug into DEI and then they try as much as they can to dismantle the US system. And they're exempt from criticism. I should say to Hasan Piker, you want to confiscate wealth and all this, you drive a Porsche, your parents are multimillionaires, you bought a very multimillion-dollar home in Hollywood. Given that success and that bounty, you don't think they would be calling for the destruction of the system of their adopted country that gave them so much opportunity. And I don't think the founders ever thought that was going to happen. And it's a result of the therapeutic left saying, you know, we don't want to be too proud about our achievements. In the 1960s, 1970s, they abandoned civic education, Western culture, Western heritage, and they adopted this therapeutic You know, salad bowl rather than the melting pot.
Introducing the new—
Oh, okay. So Owen, I'm going to come to you first. It's, it's so true. I mean, you look at someone like— I don't even want to mention Hasan Piker, but he is just the little darling of the Democrats now. And I want to add in that he's also an animal abuser, and that is not alleged. We've seen it live on his live streaming. Um, but what do you think about what VDH is saying?
Well, I think it's true. I mean, I think, you know, to me it's a terrible thing when we have people that are trying to run for office that hate our country and want to destroy it. And, um, the surprising thing to me is just how open and blatant they are about it. I mean, I think they're— these people have been around for a while, but they've always been kind of pushed off to the fringe and treated like, oh, that's just, you know, a few crazy people. Um, but now it seems like they really are resting control of the Democrat Party. And, and that's what makes it a real threat. And, um, I, I agree that like the founding fathers probably never just envisioned like, what, what do we do? Or how do we protect the country against an insider threat like that? Like if you— because it's supposed to be— I mean, I know it's a republic, but it's like everybody's elected. And now that we've changed the Senate, you know, it's even, even that is just decided by the people. And so if you end up with the majority of people that want these crazy radical policies, then the way the system is set up is that those people will end up having control of the government. And I think the, you know, the other thing that people don't often think about is just that, like, the, you know, the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence and all the other founding documents, even our laws, They all depend on people for enforcement. Like, you— it, it— a piece of paper is just a piece of paper if that's what the leadership decide, right? And so if you end up with some leftist president and some leftist-controlled Congress, you know, they can just say, okay, we're going to pack the Supreme Court to the point where it's not really the Supreme Court anymore, and we can, you know, just decide we're gonna not follow the rules of the Constitution. And if they have control of the Supreme Court, who's going to stop them? It could literally lead to the collapse of the country. So I think it's important to fight these threats just to protect the integrity of the Constitution, the integrity of the systems. And I think we need to make sure that the people we put in charge of running those systems and enforcing those systems have respect for those things and look up to them and think they're good things. And so I think that to me should almost be like a baseline requirement. I don't know how you write a law for that because someone could always pretend like Spam Burger and just say, oh yeah, I do, and then get elected and turn around and do something else. But I think a lot of us, at least on this side, see it when people are faking and see what they're really about. So I think we need to do our best to elect the best candidates and to show up on the midterm elections and show up. Do your early voting like Steve Cortez was saying so that we don't waste our money on trying to get you to vote. So we can allocate it to other people. And so by doing that, it's almost like you're voting 2 or 3 times because you're going to cause other people on your side to vote that wouldn't have otherwise because we wouldn't have been able to afford to reach them. So it's like a way of multiplying your political power. So go early vote on the very first day and make sure— get your friends, send postcards, do whatever you can to get people to try and influence And, and really send a message that, hey, this is unacceptable. We're not allowed— we're not going to allow this to happen in our country.
Yeah. All right, Marcella, thoughts on that? And I, I saw somebody say in the comments that one thing they didn't put in the Constitution that might have been nice was that if you are an immigrant, you can't hold a political position. And I fully agree with that. I mean, unless your family's here, like, I don't know, 5 generations, like something deep Because it's turned out to be a problem. But what do you say, Marcella?
I think the Founding Fathers expected this type of issue during the time the Founding Fathers were creating the Constitution. The problem of Muslims and Islam was around, and they spoke against it in— not in the Constitution itself, but also they had different forces of monarchy Or royalists, as you would want to say it. So they understood that this was a possibility, that someone can get into power, want to take over, and change the way the government is done. The reason I admire and love the United States even before moving here is the fact that the Constitution was an unimaginable document, and unimaginable. The founding fathers were just like. Um, there was nothing like it in history and nothing ever since. And one of the things that they built is the separation of powers, having 3 legislative— the legislative, the judicial, and the executive. And having the— having separate powers at separate levels means that if one wants to take over the other one, the other one can check on the other one. Check and balances was amazing. It does not exist in most countries. And the fact is, like, sometimes you— like, the Salvadoran constitution has been changed so many times over because you can just do it. You don't have to do an amendment of two-thirds and all sorts of things. The same with Iceland, which I'm familiar with. The same in Germany. And in it's kind of epic, and all of you should be very proud. Which comes to the point of these immigrants doing what they're doing. It just makes me really angry that hey, my family came from a like I'm thinking what he was saying. They came from a country that's not working, that is failed state. I moved to the United States, which is not a failed state, is the number one nation. on Earth forever and ever. And here I move here and I want to create this nation just like my failed state, right? You need to go back to your failed state.
It's already there.
Yeah, because if— this is very hypocritical too, um, that they idealize, especially the second generation, from my perspective, they idealize the country that their parents came from. And it's just like, well, then go back. I have had these conversations before where I defend the United States at all times and they look at me like I'm an alien. And on top of that, I would be like telling them, well, if that's how you feel about El Salvador or is that how you feel about Mexico, then you need to go back to there and tell me then after you live there for a whole year, let me know what your thoughts Yeah, if you want Sharia law, go to where that Sharia law country.
Yeah, it's right there waiting for you. You can eat the women, rape the— oh, I said the R word. You know, the young girls, do whatever you want. But that's not what we do here.
Sorry, I went on a like— no, it just angers me to no end because they should be grateful to every single person that is an American. That took them in, that created a country that hasn't failed. Yeah, the same with Californians and then moving to Texas and then changing Texas to a failed state. But anyways.
Yes, and now all of Hollywood's moving to New Jersey, and then I can just see what New Jersey is going to look like in 10 years from now when everybody leaves New Jersey and whatever. But, um, no, it's so true. It's like, you know, and remember, people fled, fled their countries to come here. So why would you want to change this country? It's just, you know, because you're stupid. So, um, they're haters. They're haters. Yeah, it makes no sense. Okay, so what— how much time do we have? Okay, let me do— oh, this is another feel-good story. Okay, so let's see what our little friend John Brennan's doing. He just— where's my thing? This is just my opinion. You guys tell me what you think. Scott agreed with me every time I said this. He's like, oh, you know, maybe doesn't he just seem like he's closeted? Like he's just a closeted man and he's just— oh, that's like part of his frustration. Anyway, nothing to do with this clip. Here we go.
On that type of investigation and trying to uncover what Russia is doing These are the statutory authorities of the CIA and the FBI. We were carrying out our responsibilities because we saw that the Russians were trying to influence the outcome of that election. And so we did what we needed to do. We also didn't let any of that information out before the election. I mean, if I really wanted to undermine Donald Trump, we would have just—
You did a terrible job.
Yeah, we would have— we could have leaked that information, but we held it so tightly because we didn't want to do anything that could, in fact, ultimately interfere in in that election. So, again, you know, it just seems like Donald Trump is unrelenting as far as, you know, holding a grudge against me, against Jim Comey.
What's the grudge against you about?
What are they—
what is the subpoena for?
Well, the subpoena is to give testimony in Florida next month on this grand conspiracy that supposedly, you know, covers the last 10 years, that claims that I and my co-conspirators, including Barack Obama and other other people conspired to deprive Donald Trump of his civil rights. Now, I think back over the last 10 years, he's been elected president twice. He has increased his personal wealth many times over. He has done so much. But yet he believes that the Mar-a-Lago raid and other types of things were all part of this grand conspiracy. So my lawyers are handling this. As you pointed out, Joe DiGenova resigned the day after these subpoenas were issued. Who knows what the story is there? Um, other prosecutors have either been pushed aside or have resigned because there's no evidence there. They're just trying to concoct this as a way to make a claim that Donald Trump has been subjected to this type of, you know, conspiracy.
Oh, he's so innocent. Um, Owen, I'll let you respond to this first. Um, closeted? I'm just kidding.
I've never heard that term before, a closeted man. But I do think it's just he's the designated liar, and I think it's amazing that they have made him this media figure because it just seems like all he does is lie. All he does is lie, and everything he's just said is a lie. I mean, they did make a big deal out of the Russian influence, and they, you know, did it before the election and after the election. And, you know, even if they weren't like trumpeting it in the media at the time, that I think this was that insurance policy that Comey was talking about. They were going to try and take him down with this afterwards, and that's what they did. They tried to impeach him with it. And so to me, it's very clear that there was a lot of weaponization happening and that Brennan was at the center of it, frankly. He was the one that got that whole intelligence memo going, right? With the Yeah. 51 intelligence people and all, you know, and, um, you know, the, the FBI was doing the whole Christopher Steele dossier thing that got leaked, quote unquote leaked, to the press. Um, and yeah, it clearly— they did everything they could to try and keep Donald Trump from getting elected, and they failed. And now they're trying to revise history to say, oh, we didn't do that, and we were trying to protect him, and, you know, we— if I wanted to, I could have. It's it's all it's it's just all a lie. He's trying to revise history to protect himself. He's trying to CYA, and he's trying to get out of the fact that he probably is guilty of many federal crimes. And you know now he doesn't want to talk about it.
Fully agree. Um, and yeah, I fully agree. And also yes, BJ, didn't he convert to Muslim or Islam and? Yes. Doesn't he have a prayer rug in his office? You guys, that is so eerily close to Homeland, which we were talking about the other day, the series Homeland. If you have not watched that, watch it. Stick out— if there's a season that feels off to you, just stick it out and run with it. It's so amazing and so accurate as to, like, what goes on in our world. But, um, he sounds scared to me, Marcella, and almost like he gets, like, this little, like, sheepish thing when he gets scared. Like, sometimes he has the anger, but sometimes he gets like, well, I just don't understand. And, and, and you can't forget what a POS this guy is. Take it away, sister.
So, you know, as a lawyer, I have to depose people and get the truth out of them. Um, and if I had John Brennan in front of me like he did there, you can tell. And I think Scott would talk about this. Scott Adams would talk about this, that that you can tell a lot by how a person answers their questions. Instead of saying, "Hey, I'm innocent. This is unproven. I did not do this." All I hear instead of that is there's no evidence that this was done. If you ask somebody, "Did you kill someone?" You'd say, no, not at all, you know, if you didn't do it. But instead you'd be like, no, um, you can't prove that. Oh, there's no evidence that I killed them with a knife in the kitchen, you know.
Exactly.
And, um, in a study, uh, in a study with Colonel Mustard with the pipe wrench.
Exactly. So you're, you're doing that. He's blinking a lot. And my other question to the audience and to you guys is, does he have a neck? Because he's like, he sure was like worried about him. I was like, is there a neck there? But in regards to him, he's in a lot of trouble. But like he said, there's no evidence, so he's able to cover himself. This is what they do. They are number one on CYA and Deniability. And they've learned from many years of doing this.
I would just say, like, to me, he's the archetype of the deep state creature. Fauci is the same. Like, there— these are people that for 30 or 40 years, they've crafted this, this talent stack, as Scott would call it, of being weasels. Like, that, that's, that's what they're good at, is being weasels and being able to lie and make sure that there's nothing written down that's going to get them in trouble. And they, they know how to say things in exactly the right way to navigate things so that if they are talking to Congress or doing this, you know, they're subpoenaed, that they can, you know, try and say something that doesn't quite, you know, add up to, to, to like, you know, contempt of Congress or perjury or whatever you want to call that. But like, they, you know, they're— And, and they'll at any time be like, well, I don't recall, or I'm going to take the Fifth, or whatever they have to do to protect themselves. But the fact that there's no evidence— first of all, I don't know that that's actually true. But I think, you know, to whatever extent that's true, it's just a function of the fact that he knows how to make that happen. He knows how to destroy evidence. He knows how to make sure that anything that would have gotten him in trouble is either done verbally and nowhere else, or it's with some private email, or it's with some other thing that doesn't get recorded.
And— Thank you.
That, you know, again, he worked for the CIA. Like, that's his whole job is to try and lie and get away with it.
Yeah.
Try to diffuse the truth. What I was gonna say is, do you remember, um, it was the pencil neck, um, Adam Schiff? Adam Schiff. And then now it's the no-neck Brennan.
Yeah. So who just said it?
Who doesn't stick out his neck? For the truth.
Brad said he had a neckectomy, so he can't be hung. We'll find a way.
No guillotine for you.
I know, right?
You don't have no neck.
Owen, I know you have to jet, and I just wanted to cover one more quick story. Do you want to jet before it?
I probably should just go.
Okay. All right.
Yeah. Thanks everyone.
I'll see you later.
I'll talk about the after party, I promise, at the end.
Hang.
Yes, I'll see you all tomorrow.
All right, thank you. Um, Beverly, I say it every time, it can't be hung, it's hanged. It's hanged, you guys.
You're thinking something else, Erica.
Yes, it's true, Marcella. Thank you for pointing that out. Um, but I was just thinking about the death penalty when we were talking about this, and so just, um, I was just listening the other day. So remember Rob Reiner and his wife were killed by their son, and so they were going. You know, they were trying to see if they wanted to do the death penalty for that. And I think they're not going to seek the death penalty. And I was thinking, like, gosh, no! Be the grammar Nazi, please. My dad's not here to do it. You might as well do it. So, you know, I was thinking it must be so hard for his siblings that are still alive. To say like, oh yeah, the death penalty, you know. And also it's interesting because the Reiners were big into, you know, all they did was, um, what do we call that? Not protest, but what do you call when you're a— whatever it was— advocate. Like, they were always advocating not for the death penalty. So I'm like, God, it's so weird that it came time now where the state's like, are we gonna, you know, go for the death penalty? So I think— not that I'm like affording him any grace, but I'm like, if I'm considering the people that were murdered and the family that's left behind, I wouldn't do the death penalty just because it seems like it goes against everything they feel as people. And I think you really should consider the people that survived or died and what their wishes are. So, um, yeah, they totally had Trump Derangement Syndrome, 100%. But you know, it's like so sad. To have somebody murdered in your life, and it's like you want to do whatever you can to honor the murdered person, assuming they were an innocent person, like they weren't murdered because they murdered people. Okay, but it's just weird because you would think like, oh yeah, like he killed his parents and whatever, like what's the problem? But you know, I could imagine if the Reiners, even up, you know, from their afterlife, would say don't kill our son. You know, they're still parents to this person. So just weird, Marcella. So do the, do the prosecutors consider the family and what their wishes would be for that family member, considering that whole case is one family?
So usually there's a, what we call a victim advocate in the district attorney's office, and they speak to the victims. Um, and if, if their victims aren't alive anymore, they speak to the family and they get an understanding of what they want, and then, um, they look at the case itself. Can they get a death penalty? I mean, are they going to do that? I think that they didn't go for it too because there's a moratorium by Gavin Newsom that doesn't allow for it anyways. It's a very costly, um, issue, uh, once you try. I am for the death penalty. Um, and I'm also for actually doing, doing it.
Like yourself? Not—
what I mean is, by doing it is like, you get— you, you have all these people in San Quentin in California, you have them all under a death penalty in death penalty row, and you never kill them, you never execute them. So I'm pro-execution because they have appeals, because they have so much time that they are appealing to the different courts, the different situation. And then there's the issue of when they do it. It is so controversial.
What if I'm on death row and I'm like, listen, I'm good, I'm not going to appeal, I'm all for it, let's go. Like, my last meal is going to be X, Y, and Z, and I'm ready.
I think they still will appeal for you in California. Like, in the federal government, um, I want to say the Oklahoma alleged— well, he was convicted bomber. He said that, that he was— he wanted to, once they found him guilty for the death penalty, that he wanted to— Timothy McVeigh, that he wanted to just be executed. And he was executed upon doing that, like, upon saying that.
Hmm.
So you can do that. You can. But I, I think in California it's never been done. But I imagine, um, you can tell me in the chat what your thoughts are, but I imagine California would be like, well, you sound crazy, so we're gonna put a lawyer for you and they're gonna speak on your behalf.
You don't know what you're saying. We're gonna have a rally and we're gonna make a flag for you. It'll be a whole thing. We're gonna throw bricks at cars just for fun. I know. Imagine you're in there and you're like, I just want to end it. Like, yes, I killed all those people. Like, just let me go. And they're like, nope, nope, we're going to advocate for you. I'd be like, please, people. Okay, so interesting. I just thought— I didn't realize that the Reiners were activists fighting for the death penalty to be stopped. I mean, of course, they love nothing more than a cause, but So I just think it would be weird to go against the people that were murdered with the death penalty. But you're right, California has a moratorium, so it won't happen. Um, anyway, you guys, so thanks for being here. I told you we were all over the place today. Did you like this kind of crazy variety? Um, it's a little schizophrenic, but it was fun. So Marcella, thank you so much for being here.
Thank you.
Owen had to run to a, uh, meeting. And, um, listen, you guys, Owen has the afterparty tomorrow on X, on Spaces. It's @OwenGregorian, and it's at the same time as the Scott Adams School. So you could stop in and just do the simultaneous sip at the usual time if you can just go in, sip, and go. And you can also hang out and you can talk about the news. And there's a little feature where you hit a button and your, your little emoji hand raises. And then SJV is in there. He's Owen's sidekick in the spaces, and he makes sure that the show is flowing a little quicker, which is nice. So if you don't have a ton of time, they move through the people quicker, but you still get a solid, you know, five, six, seven, eight, nine minutes. So it's nice. So more people are getting their time in there. I like it. All right, you guys. So don't forget to visit him tomorrow. And Marcella and I will be scheming things in the background until we see you again on Monday, if not sooner. And I hope everybody has a great weekend. Um, all right, Marcella, let's do our closing sip to Scott and Shelley.
Mm-hmm.
And we thank them for allowing the Scott Adams School to start and flourish and continue. And we thank every one of you guys for showing up for us every day. Everybody watching in the replay, thank you so much. Um, for anyone that hit the thumbs up today on YouTube, shout out to you. You're amazing. We appreciate you. And, um, let's have a closing and useful sip to our beloved Scott Adams. I'm at the bottom third of my cup. It's still a little frothy.
And do you have any coffee in there? You do?
I do, I do. Marcela, see it? Yep. All right, you guys, a closing sip to Scott. To Scott.
I'm drinking already. I'm like, girl, get to sip.
And I picked a song for today. I pre-picked it because I'm like, why do I keep repeating songs?
Is it going to be romantic, fast-moving?
It's going to be very Scottish. Not Scottish like doo doo doo doo, but Scottish. Okay. All right. Let me make sure I got it. It's called Introduction to the User Interface by Akira the Don.
We miss you too, Pukush.
Do you guys want to see the cat?
Oh, hey everybody. Glad you could make it. Today will be, for some of you, the most incredible day of your life. Not everyone. Some of you will just get a little bit smarter. Others of you will find a transformational experience happening tonight. Yes, tonight you're gonna find out The user interface for reality itself. That's nice, man. The user interface for reality itself. So that you can author your own reality. The user interface for reality itself. Don't believe it? Why are you here? Yeah, you're curious. You're wondering, can I do it? Well, you're gonna find out. Well, you're gonna find out. So it turns out that there are some stories that can't be There are some things that by their nature cannot be communicated. There are a number of reasons why some stories can't be told. Maybe there's a secret involved. Maybe somebody's being modest and they don't want to brag. Maybe there's a lack of credentials involved. It might be a question of loyalty. You've promised you wouldn't tell somebody. You don't want to hurt somebody. It might be, uh, complicated. And so just It's too hard to explain. This is important to know because you're going to wonder why didn't I tell you where the user interface for reality was before. The user interface for reality itself. The user interface for reality itself. So that you can author your own reality. The user interface.
Oh yeah.
For reality itself. It's kind of a heck of a thing to hold out, isn't it? And the reason is, I couldn't tell you before. There needed to be a certain perfect situation. And that perfect situation happened today. Today. After 22 years, my plan came together.
Today.
And that plan was that someday I wanted to be in a position to tell you the things that I'll tell you today that I couldn't tell you until now. The user interface for reality itself. The user interface for reality itself. So that you can author your own reality. The user interface. Before reality itself.
Aww.
Aww, look at that one.
Love that.
And baby pose.
Yes, Walter Kern's Bigfoot encounter. I saw that, I saw that. Yep, it was amazing. Um, you guys, it was amazing. It was so weird. Did you see it, Marcella?

Don't say that.
Oh, it's the worst. Oh, alien baby, look at that little baby.
That's Lola, right? I know people's pets' names.
I know. Let's all give Local User 1 a hug, a big virtual hug. Um, oh, you go, Frank. I mean, you know what, you don't want to forget anybody, right? Oh, all right, you guys, so we'll say our goodbyes until we meet again. Thank you, thank you, thank you for being here.
