The Scott Adams School -

Well, Owen, you should have called me and told me you were going to be late. Now I'm going live late. Oh, are we live? Hi.

Good morning, everyone.

Good morning, everyone.

Good morning from Rumble Studio. Hell, everybody, it's me, Erica, Owen, and Marcella. Jesse Kelly is/was making his best attempts to log on, but Rumble said no. Rumble said no, Jesse Kelly. Not today, Jesse Kelly. So Jesse Kelly will be on with us very soon, but not today. Okay, you guys, so sorry. We were trying to get him on there and Rumble's rumbling, so please forgive us. Let's get right to the sip and then we'll discuss all the things. Okay, here we go.

And what a day it is. It's just like other days, except it's better because of the simultaneous sip that it's gonna come at you. It's coming at you soon, coming at you hard. And all you need is— what do you need? You know what you need. Come on, you know what you need. It's a cup or a mug or a glass, a tank or chalice or stein, a canteen jug or a flask, a vessel of any kind. Fill it with your favorite liquid. I kind of like my coffee. And join me now for the unparalleled pleasure, the dopamine hit of the day. The thing that makes everything better, it's called the simultaneous sip, and it happens now. Go! Yeah, I can feel Biden's poll numbers falling. Only took one sip.

Ah, I love that. So good morning everybody, here we are July 10th. Thank you so, so much to YouTube, Rumble, Spotify, Locals, X for hanging in there with us. We were so excited to get Jesse on today, and he will be on, um, and he said please apologize, tell them thank you for waiting. Um, so you're welcome, Jesse, we'll work it out. Um, so anyway, guys, Owen and Marcella and I were— Marcella and I are going to give you like an extra 10 minutes at the end, and Owen's gonna jet. But in the meantime, um, we have news. We have stories. We have things to talk about because Owen is always prepared, Marcela is always prepared, and I always have one or two clips waiting in the wings. So I thought, if you guys don't mind, I would like to start with our boy Mon Donnie. Mom Donnie, that happens to me with his name. I can't do it. And I told Owen before, I'm like, I don't want to do it. I don't want to know it. So It's like, uh, all right, I guess I'm gonna have to learn.

We're ready, we're ready for the mum mum mum.

So did you guys hear this story how he kind of, uh, redistricted the map in New York to say what neighborhoods are where? Uh, you know, didn't he forget like Little Italy or something? Marcella, do you think he forgot Little Italy? Do you think that's why I'm fired up? I am telling you, my— I was like this the whole day. I was like, is he kidding me? Um, yeah, he forgot Little Italy. And by the way, it's also the 100-year anniversary of the Feast of San Gennaro, which I believe is in August. Yeah, you know, they're gonna trash it. I, I just can't. But listen, the Italians know how to take care of things. Yeah, Italy and Ireland. And yeah, he didn't take care of him. He didn't forget any little stand place.

But anyway, the Italians have a lot to do with New York City.

Yeah, you know, Owen, mm-hmm. When they came on over, they were like some of the first people here to settle in. And they were hard workers. They registered at the door, they got their name in there, their family, and they built a lot of this country brick by brick, literally. And besides bringing food here—

but they've never been a marginalized group, have they?

Oh, no. Italians marginalized? Never. No, that's why we created the mafia. So kids, the mafia was created out of Italians being marginalized. This is not— this is a bad, bad school. This is summer school. This is— we got the summer school teacher right now.

Gangs of New York edition.

Yes, this is the Sopranos edition of Italian history. So anyway, look at this. The Italians are not too happy, and neither am I.

Mayor Mondani, I give you a year. You are not a New Yorker. You have no clue.

I'm Isabella Reggiani, and today we are here in Little Italy asking the locals how they feel about one of the oldest immigrant communities, Little Italy, not being included on Mayor Mondani's immigrant enclave map.

I don't consider you to be my mayor.

I think it's disgraceful for what he's doing. He's got to be fair to everybody, and he's not fair to everybody. He's not fair to the Jewish people, which he makes everybody notice. He's not fair to the Jewish people. He's not fair to the Irish people. And now he hits the Italians. For what reason? What do we do to them that they should hate us? They always sort of pushed us to the side. I got it. Yeah, in other words, Little Italy, they take care of their own problems, and we're always pushed aside. And I think it's about time that we have to be firm about this. Otherwise, we'll totally be forgotten.

Uh, if you understand what took place here over 100 years ago, between 1880 and 1920, when the mass migration of Italian immigrants first came, this was the stepping stone for the Italians.

Well, the Bari family came here 120 years ago from Sicily. They were immigrants. They landed down in what's known as the Five Points. Grandma started the San Gennaro Festival. That right up there, that is Grandma. That is Grandma. Grandma from the Bari family. Okay, she is the heart and soul of this neighborhood.

My grandfather was on the Society of San Gennaro, which happens to be this year 100 years. So it means a lot to me, little Lily, you know.

There's no such thing as left or right down here. Both sides of the street are beautiful.

And what makes New York City such a special place is a collage of many different cultures. People from all over the world come here and settle, and they need to be recognized for the contributions that they brought to this, to this wonderful country.

Thank you, the Free Press. And by the way, yes, recognize them for the contributions they're bringing, whether they're good or bad. Let's recognize them. And, um, I love those people and I love Grandma Bari. Yes, she's been on that billboard forever. And Little Italy is like shrinking and shrinking and shrinking. It's so sad to see how much smaller it's become because I actually think, shockingly, Chinatown took over a lot of Italy. Little Italy, it's very Epcot Center over there. But yeah, it was pretty gross to see how he just like created this whole new map and left out a lot of our most amazing immigrants that came here and did the most for the country. So what do you think, Owen? You think the Italians can take care of it?

I think they probably can.

I don't know.

We'll see what they do. I wasn't sure with that guy that said we need to be firm, whether that was like kind of a weak sort of we're just going to stand up for ourselves without really doing anything, or if he was like the Godfather ready to Makes something happen.

He's like, you know, they know we take care of our— you know, we always take care of ourselves here in Little Italy. I'm like, yeah, you do. Mm-hmm. I don't like it. And listen, I say just keep the Italian food inside the confines of Little Italy, and then everybody will change their tune fast when they don't get that delicious food. Marcella, what do you think about this?

I think it's crazy that they would have left Little Italy. And I think he— If I'm not— um, I believe he left other neighborhoods like the Jewish one, which is not— uh, oh, Greeks too. He left out the Greeks. So I would like an explanation. I'm like, why, why did then— why aren't they allowed to be there? But to— but basically, um, he, he makes it, um, he makes us think past the sale, um, in this case, because to me there shouldn't be any ethnic enclaves that we need to map out, you know. Why, why are we mapping out that, you know? That's just my thought. Like, we're all the same in a way, and it shouldn't be like, oh, this is this, this is that. Like, the government shouldn't be involved in that.

No, the government should just solve crimes.

They should just, uh, enforce the law, which is not something that's happening.

Yeah, the government shouldn't be involved in it, but the communities kind of make their own— I mean, Everything in New York City is a district. Okay? Everything. It's like the Flatiron District, the Button District, the Ribbon District, the Jewelry District. And then you have like, there's like a, a very Indian area and we've always called that Curry Hill. Um, you know, so it's like, you know, like you, oh, you go to that district for this thing and you need this, you go over there. Um, but you don't leave out the most historic and original ones and You know, if you're gonna like actually have a government making a map, like Marcel is saying, stay the hell out of it. And now you're just gonna leave out ones that have been there forever? How long has this guy, uh, this mayor, been, uh, in America? 8 years?

I think 5 years. I think 8.

It's, it's a blip. It's a blip. Imagine this guy, like, I'll say 8 years to be generous, that he's been in our country for 8 years. He's the mayor of New York and he's like erasing history and just pushing in his own agenda. And now, is it in Brooklyn? I saw that those poor people are flipping out. They're hearing the blaring call to prayer starting at 5 AM now, blaring out to the street, that call to prayer. And you're like, what the hell is going on? I mean, Brooklyn? So anyway, um, these are of the topics we were going to talk to Jesse Kelly about today, because no one's better going off about communism than Jesse Kelly.

Um, so yeah, but he was a hip-hop and rap star, mandami, early in his life, right?

Yeah, I mean, that's what they say.

I think he's kind of like our Hitler, where, you know, he should have just stuck to the art, but, you know, kind of—

he's our Hitler. I love that. I love that the mayor of New York is our modern-day Hitler. No, let's make it stick, guys. Embrace and amplify the message. Um, hip-hop Hitler, hip-hop Hitler, let's go, Owen! You guys, hashtag hip-hop Hitler. I love that. EJ is even giving you hearts for that one. Oh, now you know it works. So Owen, you had, um, some other stories pulled up, one that I wanted to do yesterday, if you have, about the Birthright citizenship issue. We've talked about this before where there's like birthright tourism, you know, like where they— we showed the clip of the woman, that simpleton woman who's like, oh, oh, all right, Stephen spamming hearts now. Um, where she's like, oh, I'm having a baby for a gay Chinese couple, and yes, the baby will be an American citizen, but I'm gonna give the baby to that. And you're like, what are we doing? Um, so Owen, you had this news story, I think it was the day before yesterday, and there's actual billboards now, I believe in Texas. So when you come over the border, you get this advertisement. And then Owen, um, after, can you read Trump's post about this and what he said? Okay, thanks.

Billboards. You can pay $3,950 if you want to have birth naturally, make your child a U.S. citizen.

You're kidding.

You're foreign-born C-section, $5,525. I spoke with Ken Paxton on this, and he showed me pictures where there are houses in Texas that look residential, so it could be your neighbor's house, and you go inside the house and there are rows of bassinets where Chinese women are coming, giving birth to a child, then going back to the Chinese Communist Party, educating their child there, and they have U.S. citizenship, which could amount to more than a million new voters in this country over time.

Only a stupid nation would allow this to happen. They also have a website, havemybabyintexas.com. By the way, this big border advertising right there is miles away from the border. So their audience are people that are crossing back and forth. And by the way, if you think it's just Mexicans that are— no, that's just a checkpoint right there. People are traveling from all across the world to come to Mexico to go pregnant, they could have their baby here, uh, in the state of Texas. And, you know, as a result of that, their kids are going to be American citizens. Congress has to codify this law.

I was trying to read the website. You guys look up that website, tell us what you see. And Owen, um, you know, so some of you guys in Texas are like, I don't see that billboard. Uh, you know, it's somewhere. I'm sure Fox News put it on. They saw it somewhere. Um, but that's alarming. So what did, uh, President Trump say about it?

Yeah, he posted something that says, signs and billboards are being put up all over the southern border and Mexico advertising birthright citizenship with deliveries starting at $4,000. Likewise, similar signs going up all over our country. Billions of dollars will be illegally made by this scam. With citizenship going to anyone willing to pay. It will be by far the number one way of becoming a citizen, and then the entire family will be allowed to follow. Not sustainable. Nobody saw this coming. American citizenship is not for sale. In fact, that is a crime, and therefore the Supreme Court ruling is wrong. I will be asking for a rehearing by the United States Supreme Court immediately. This miscarriage of justice will destroy America if they don't change their absolutely insane decision. Thank you for your attention to this matter, President Donald J. Trump.

All right, so let's, let's chat about this, you guys. Um, you know, what, what are we doing about it? How— so this goes back to the Supreme Court, their terrible blunder, and their last decision about birthright citizenship that really shooketh everybody because we were just like, you're just giving away our country at this point. And I don't— I didn't realize, I wasn't sure, Marcella, that you can like go back to the Supreme Court and be like, no, I don't like your answer, can you revisit it? Like, is that what happens?

So you can try, um, it— to ask for a rehearing, um, for the Supreme Court, you need one of the justices that was, um, in the, uh, in the, in the opinion, um, that was made. So 6 out of the 3, um, they would have to get like Chief Justice, uh, Roberts Brett Kavanaugh, or I don't think the, the other lady— God, I forget her name. But anyways, I tried to forget her at all. Um, the last time that a rehearing turned out well was in 1956. Um, so it's not something that, um, is usually very low likelihood of, uh, changing anything. Um, because what happens is that they'll reject that outright. So he actually has to— by him, I mean President Trump— would have to actually have one of the justices that believed in this decision think that it needs to be a rehearing. And on top of the rehearing issue, you have to actually have new evidence or new information that would change, that wasn't presented originally, that would change somehow the decision that they made. Which is hard to come by. This happens with regular cases. If you want a motion for reconsideration, you would need new evidence. So the billboard advertising would be, you know, might be insufficient evidence for that as new evidence because is it really new?

Yeah, I don't know what was presented. I don't know what was presented as evidence in the original case because like, to me it just seemed like— I mean, I saw all over X at least this documentation apparently of the original person who wrote the thing that apparently he said, obviously this doesn't apply to foreigners. Like, there was something about that, and I just wonder if that was presented as evidence because to me that would be the most clear indication of the intention of that amendment or that part of the Constitution. And, you know, if that was already presented, maybe they can't really do it again. But if they haven't, it would seem to me like that would be very relevant. But, um, you know, I'm not surprised by the ruling because, you know, in the oral arguments at least, it really seemed like they were leaning against taking it away. Um, and I agree with you, Marcelo. I don't think it's very likely they're even going to hear it because they've already made their decision. They just made their decision. It would probably be like embarrassing for them to just say, oh yeah, we got it wrong.

It's the worst decision I've ever seen them make. I mean, it's like something that you can so clearly see how that is going to destroy the fabric of this country. And how can it stand? I just don't get it. I mean, I don't understand how. I don't know what it is.

I mean, it has to be done through an amendment because the 14th Amendment is there and the Supreme Court has indicated that this stands for that. So I mean, one of my friends was like, well, they did the prohibition, they voted for an amendment against, you know, alcohol, and then they voted really fast an amendment for alcohol or for, you know, to get that off of the Constitution. So it's possible to— maybe not in this, uh, lifetime, you know, but you, you have to try. Um, I think, uh, um, Rand Paul has, um, has a, a idea of doing this type of amendment, but we would need to pass new—

a pass a new law, which means pass a new amendment. Yeah, a new amendment. I mean, you need Congress and the Senate and everything else, and nobody can ever work together for the good of the country. It's, you know, I hate Trump. And I want to remind the Democrats, all of the Democrats, the Democrat politicians, the progressives, everybody, he's out of here in 2 years. So calm down. Like, you can't ruin the rest of our lives because of Trump forever. He's gone in 2 years. So calm down. Stop making him your excuse for destroying everything that was good about this country. It's, uh, it's getting old. And, um, You're ruining, you're ruining our country.

Well, I, I think an amendment is pretty unlikely too, because it's just so hard to pass an amendment. And when, if we don't have like a supermajority and most of the country, and by the country, I mean the state legislatures, not the people, um, you know, agree with this, then it is just unlikely we're gonna pass an amendment. But I think, you know, Kavanaugh did say that Congress could enact new legislation that has exceptions. So if that is valid, and again, that's just one justice's opinion, but at least he has some support at the Supreme Court level, then, you know, some of the bills that are there might be the most likely way to tackle this because there are a couple of bills that would do those exceptions. And I think at least there has been a lot of talk that you could potentially sort of clarify what that means or, you know, put in exceptions, and that may be a way to make it, you know, legally enforceable in terms of cracking down on this. But I, I agree. I mean, this is horrible, and I think it could be the end of the country. I think it's like you could end up with China and the CCP specifically deciding our elections because they could just send a whole bunch of people to a swing state where it's going to make the most difference and just get whatever party they want to elect the president.

Yeah, I mean, that's what's going to happen. And, you know, Americans are having less children. China's going for it. India is going for it. I mean, like, all these, you know, the Islam is growing by leaps and bounds. And, um, you know, so we'll, we'll be the, the smallest demographic in this fight, fighting for our own country. And, um, if we don't reverse course on these things, you know, again, like I always say, listen, I don't have kids. Like, I can just worry about myself and be like, I'll be out of here at some point. But I'm, I'm really worried for this country and for everybody. And if you have kids and or grandkids or, you know, whatever's coming down the pike, I worry for you guys. Um, I worry for our country. So I don't know what could happen. If anyone ever hears anything more about this or you have some glimmer of hope for us to hang on to, let me know personally because I need to feel it. I need to feel it. I'm worried. Um, you never hear me say that. So the only other clip I wanted to show was, um, this is Iris Tao And she was in NATO at the news conference, and she asked President Trump about communism. And let's, let's just hear this. And then after this, Owen and Marcela, if you can just give us some news stories, that would be amazing. Here we go.

Thank you, Mr. President, for doing this. Iris Tao with NTD, with a sister media with the Epoch Times. On communism, you've been issuing a wake-up call to Americans at home about the dangers of communism. And now you're speaking on the world stage. What's your message to people both living under communist and socialist regimes, but also people living under democracies like in Europe and America who might not have realized how close communism has come to home?

Yeah, that's a great question, actually. But look, I want to get the word out because what's forming is communism in the country. Communism's easy to sell. I would be the greatest communist in history. I'd be right up there with Lenin. I'd be as good as anybody. You've got free rent for the rest of your life. What they don't say is that you'll be living in squalor in 12 months. You've got the free house. Would anybody like to have a free house? We'll take it away from somebody. We'll give it to you. You'll have murders all over the place. Communism is a disaster. It's been proven to be for thousands of years under different names, but same thing. It's very important. And you know, it's funny, one of the reasons I do so well with Hispanic people, I set a record. Republicans, I get great numbers for the election, helped me get elected in a landslide. The Hispanics, because a lot of them came from countries that were essentially communist. Whether you call them radical socialists or communists is not that much, but there is a little difference when they say social democrats. We're social democrats. It sounds so nice. It's not nice. It's a very dangerous term. So I do talk about it and I talk about it on TikTok and I talk about it everywhere. I talk about it here. And you're right, it has become international, but it's never worked and it's not going to work. What is working is the United States. Think of it. We have more jobs than we've ever had. People are making more money than they've ever made. I'm talking about workers now. Talking about workers. They're making higher salaries than they've ever made before. It's just the best system. And it's got flaws, but everything's going to have a little flaw. But it's been amazing. And when I watch what's happening and I see these lowlifes getting— I mean, they're lowlifes. I watch them. I know good people. I know quality people. These are essentially lowlifes. And when I see what they're talking, I think they're very dangerous in many ways. And I've said it. And then I said, boy, that's a pretty big statement. Then I realized, you know, a couple of people said, I think you're probably right. I think this country with this thing that's going around is in more danger than it was during World War I, World War II. If you talk about September 11th, if you talk about Pearl Harbor, That was big danger. I think this is— I think the concept of us going communist, because one thing that happens when you go communist, you never come back. Never comes back. You die in squalor. You die. You die a horrible death. You die in squalor. And it gets very evil and very nasty.

Thank you, Mr. President, for doing this.

Nothing to be scared about there. You die in squalor. It isn't easy. It's a painful death. You know, like, oh my Lord. All right, so I feel like he's aware. Now what do we do? So now what do we do? Um, Marcela, what do we do?

I mean, I think we, we talk about this more often. Um, I think some of us are shy. Like, we, we talked about this a lot of different shows where you have to stand for what your beliefs are. Um, the way the communists can take over is well, obviously by arms, by them, you know, forcing us to it. But the other way is the ideas, their ideas, being confident of their ideas. You have to actually be confident of the opposite working— capitalism, being able to talk about the good things about capitalism, about Elon being a trillionaire, it doesn't equate me being poor, you know, just because the pie is not just one size. It doesn't mean— it actually means more people can— he can lift more people up to that. And regardless of what he lifts or not, or whoever is— he earned what he earned, and that's what belongs to him. Doesn't have to feed the entire world. So The having the confidence in your ideas, being able to have leaders that stand for these things. Because if, if you are not sure, or you're like, well, maybe it could work again, maybe if we do it this way, like, and we don't do it the way the Cubans did it, it can actually work. I'm like, no, no, it's never worked. It's never gonna work. The idea has never worked. So I think you have to, um, everybody watching today, if you hear these these ideas being given, you know, while someone's talking, just nicely, you know, express that no, it's not gonna work. No, this is not, you know, um, study on it, study on this, uh, and never be silent. Always stand and say, um, what you stand for, um, because that's kind of what they have done in California, um, either either you are silent or you leave. So everybody that's left over, it's the mandamis of, of this, uh, state. So this is why California, in my opinion, is the way that it is, because no one that's strong enough has remained. And there's very few of us that are very, um, brave enough to be like, no, this is wrong, and this is why. But I love President Trump and how, like, he has his whole posse behind him. He reminds me of, like, a hip-hop artist. He just does. Like, he just knows how to, like, he has his whole background and, like, they just look awesome together.

I did love when Bissens, like, starts to do this and then he's like, Oh, do I want to do this right now?

What?

All right, I guess I'll keep going. And he does it and he's like, okay, I better hold this position for a while.

Like, they look tough, right? They look—

it was like, what was that movie? Talladega Nights. They're like, I don't know what to do with my hands. And he's like, mm-hmm. Um, all right, Owen, could you make me feel better, please?

Um, well, I mean, I'm glad Trump is speaking out about this, and I think it is a serious threat.. And I think, um, you know, we all need to do our part, I guess, in, in terms of just fighting this. I think, um, first I would say, you know, you need to understand this wasn't just organic or, or something that happened by accident. It— and I don't think it is just, you know, young people don't remember history. I think it's— it was a concerted effort. You know, they went into our schools and they started teaching this leftist progressive ideology, and they train kids to go after and try and get socialism and communism and all these collectivist things. And I think what you have to focus on though is how do we counteract it? And, you know, part of it would be cleaning up the schools. And I think Trump is doing a lot to get rid of the DEI and the other stuff that's basically ideological training in these schools. But beyond that, I think we need to just show the positive paths for people, the way they can succeed, because I think the part of the reason it is resonating with some young people probably especially is that they look at, you know, how can I afford rent? How can I afford to buy a house? How can I be successful? It doesn't seem likely I'm going to be successful. And then you have all the AI tech bros that are coming out and saying you're not going to have a job in 5 years. And so it's just like the wrong message to be sending to kids. And, you know, I'm doing my part with my kids at least to try and get them on a good path, get them a good job, get them going in the right direction and, and where they can support themselves and they can buy a house and they, you know, and then I think parents should help their kids as much as possible to get them on a good path. But, you know, it is seductive in the sense of, you know, when you look at something and you think it's hopeless, then you start looking for alternatives and you start looking for other paths. And socialist— socialism and communism have this false promise of saying, we'll take care of you, you know, we'll give you housing, we'll give you medical care, we'll make all this stuff quote unquote free, even though that isn't really a thing. And so, you know, you have to point that out and point out the fallacies of it so that people see that, but also just give people a positive way to go. Give someone a way to say, okay, you can have this type of job, or you can get this kind of training, or you can go to a trade, or you can do all these things. And show them how they can have a better path in life. And I think that's how you convince people and persuade people that the capitalist system does give them a better outcome, both personally and for the whole country.

And like Garwat said, the only way you get free rent is if you also do work for free. So there's no money. It's just, sure, do this, you can have that. But nobody has money. No one owns anything. You're eating the bugs. Um, I fully agree, Owen, with your assessment. So, all right, so you guys, I mean, I feel like, you know, even if I try to avoid certain topics, sometimes I'm like, oh, we're talking so much about Islam or communism or whatever, I just can't avoid it because it's like what's taking over. It's what's in the news. It's what we're seeing, what we're witnessing. And, you know, again, if you aren't following Amy Meck please follow Amy Mek on X or wherever you can find her. Scroll her timeline for 5 or 10 minutes and just see what's happening out there. And then does it match up with what you're hearing from your friends or your community or your politicians or your police or whatever? I mean, gosh, 2 more churches I think were just firebombed in Manhattan. I'm not saying who firebombed them, but if you look at the pictures, it wasn't like Jack Smith, not the Jack Smith, but it was definitely a different culture. So you're witnessing this all around the world. It's systemic, it's thought out, it's planned. They're fearless. They don't care. I mean, I watched a mom sitting with her beautiful young son and she I can't wait for him to die and become a martyr. I'm like, oh my God, he's like, you know, 18 years old and she's right in front of him. Like, I can't wait. I can't wait till he martyrs himself and he's dead. And I'm just like, wow, we are just dealing with another level. So the rules are very different. Okay, you guys, so Owen or Marcella, you guys had some great stories today. Do either one of you want to rip one off first?

Um, well, I wanted to bring up a story. There was Brown University did some, some professor did a test that was a take-home test and everybody aced it. And apparently that convinced the professor there was something wrong and they said, okay, now I'm going to make people take the test in class. And their scores dropped from like the 90 percentiles to like 48% or something. So That convinced him that, you know, it must be that everybody was cheating with AI. And, um, so that became kind of a big story that's going around that everybody's cheating in college and even in the Ivy League, they're, you know, just using AI to cheat on exams. Um, I don't know that I fully believe this. I mean, I, I do think there probably is a fair amount of cheating going on with AI because why wouldn't you? You know, it makes things so much easier, but I will say like a take-home test is different than an in-person test. And of course they're going to do worse on it because like if you give someone a take-home test, even if they're not using AI, they're going to look stuff up in the book. They're going to, you know, do a whole bunch of additional things like that. You know, you're giving them the ability to do that by doing a take-home test. So I'm a little skeptical that AI was the only cause of this, but I do think that there is a real problem in our colleges in terms of, you know, students using AI to either write their assignments or help with their homework or do stuff that is making them learn less.

Oh, and are you giving these kids more of the benefit of the doubt?

A little bit.

Really?

I think so. I mean, you know, I do think there is a fair amount of cheating. And I also worry that, you know, it may be much more prevalent in some of the more Let's say foreigners that are in our schools, cuz I think there's a culture there where again, they don't necessarily have the same ethical rules we have. They don't necessarily, um, have the same ideas about it and they're ultra competitive. So they're just, they may, you know, people like that and you know, whether they're foreigners or not, but people who are just cutthroat and just says, I'm gonna do whatever I have to to get an A, they're gonna cheat.

All right. Does anyone see this like the way I imagine this? Tell me if anyone— just say Erica or Owen, like who you agree with. So Owen's like, you know, the kids are like a little more ethical than we're thinking and maybe the foreigners are cheating. And I think it's the opposite where the foreigners are actually studying and they seem to be smarter than the American kids. And I think the Americans are cheating and the foreigners are like, no, I can ace this. This is nothing. I have the opposite opinion. And I— that's funny. Um, and I, I love that, you know, you see it your way because I just don't. But that doesn't mean anything. But anyway, I have an Erica.

They're all cheating. They're all cheating.

But I feel like, I mean, the kids from China and India and, you know, wherever.

Lord, if I had— if you had the time and I, I could tell you all about Chinese students and me tutoring them and knowing everything that they ended up doing. And yeah, yeah, they have—

they have—

well, let's just say that I was impressed with their system of everything that they collect together and put together. And I was like, no wonder they do good in school, but it's not from studying. That's all I can say.

Oh, amazing. All right, I like that little insider information. I think— yeah, I do think everyone cheats. I definitely think the American kids cheat for sure.

Except for my brother.

Except for her brother.

Yeah.

Okay. Interesting. But Owen, I'm always like, Owen, so nice that you think highly of these kids or more than I do.

Well, it isn't so much that I don't think a lot of people were cheating. I do. But I, but I think it's just not completely fair to say, you know, look at this take-home test versus the in-person test. 'cause those are very different things. Like when someone gives you a take-home assignment or a take-home test, you're telling 'em you can look in the book, you can do your research, you can, you know, use other resources. There's no way you're gonna say, okay, we're giving you a take-home test, but don't use anything because that's just not a thing. And I, so I just, I, I think there's a little doubt in my mind about the magnitude of it.

But, right.

But again, I'm not saying, oh, nobody was cheating.

I mean, they, they don't think about it as cheating. They don't think of it as cheating.

Mm-hmm.

They think of it as like, hey, they gave me an in-home test and so I could look at these things and then, uh, write it. So it's not in their mind, it's not cheating.

Maybe to the professor it is, but I mean, I don't know what the right answer is. I mean, we're at such an uncertain time with this because it's like, on one hand there's a philosophy of why don't you just give them all the AI tools and, and get, you know, adapt. To that world because that's the world we're going to live in. But then on the other hand, it's like, okay, what's the point of education then? Like, you're supposed to learn things. You're supposed to be knowledgeable of things. And I personally think AI is much more useful when you are knowledgeable about things because you're able to guide the AI and ask the right questions. And maybe there is a thread that pulls those two together where you can say, how can you train someone to be able to ask the right questions?

You're a baby, Erica.

Um, so, but you know what, I thought a lot about when we had Corey DeAngelis on the last time, and he was saying that, and I fully agree, let your kids have every— everything they can use in school. Use AI, use the calculators, you— because when you go out in the real world, you're going to have access to all that stuff. And so, so many people are getting trained in other countries fully using everything to their advantage. And we're like, nope, we gotta do it like it's 1964. And you're just like, why? Like, why? They're not gonna do that out there. So I'd rather see our kids use everything they can to get the best scores they can to learn the most. I mean, there should be some way to like make sure they're retaining the information at least, or, or that they know how to prompt the tools that they're using because AI prompting is gonna be everything. Um, learning how to prompt and, and make programs within it and however, but I— so I'm not— not that I'm all for cheating, but I'm all for use everything at your disposal to be the best you can be and then go do that in the industry you want to be in. And let's hope that it's, you know, useful for America and it's not to cause destruction. And that's the best way to get out there and compete because in the real world, that's what's going to be happening. So I feel like we're holding our kids back by being like, you can only use your notes from class and it's just like, why?

I get it. And that may be the right answer. It's just my worry is, are we going to end up with a whole generation of people that just— they don't know anything and they're dependent on AI like we're dependent on GPS to get anywhere now. And like, where does that leave us? You know, I mean, if there's a real advantage to being an expert or being knowledgeable of something and we say, okay, we're not going to do that here, then we may just be crippling ourselves.

Well, what about, what about like all your classes? It's like, go for it, use the AI, use the thing, use the whatever. And then like, because you're doing that, then you have time for other classes. Like there's like one class where like each week you learn a different thing, how to use a map, how to use, you know, whatever, like how, how to navigate, how to whatever. Because I feel like we're not doing any of that. So we're not doing anything where it's like how to use the most advanced technology, and we're not going to teach you even how to write anymore. So I feel like everything is lost. And I feel like, you know, now everybody's just like a lost idiot. I mean, I know kids that don't even know where to put the pen to paper. Like, you start in the top left corner. Like, they don't even know that. And they can't write and they can't read someone's handwriting. And I'm just like, holy cow, like, this is like, it's really bad. I don't know, but I, I feel bad. I think we're— I think— oh, well, aren't we investigating Randy Winegardner now too? We gotta burn it all down. We gotta start over with education because it's bad. My opinion. And again, I don't have kids, but I'm worried for all you people with kids and grandkids and great-grandkids. Um, okay, thank you, Patty. Love that. Okay, so we have, uh, technically 2 minutes till Owen leaves. So Owen, do you have another quick story you can tell us? Um, and then Marcel and I will stick around.

My story.

Why don't you just go ahead, Marcelo?

All right.

Oh, with my story, everybody, breaking news! There's been new UFO batch released today.

Bad.

The government. Yeah, so the fourth, uh, UAP file release by, uh, ward.gov UFO has been released about 35— just for the show— for 35 minutes ago or something like that, or an hour ago. And it does—

that there are aliens now?

Well, it's UAPs, we're not certain. Whether it's, uh, from extraterrestrial life or from another military, military, or maybe grandma down the road.

Anna Paulina Luna and Tim Burchett said all this proof was coming, that we knew we weren't alone and, you know, we had aliens.

I feel like I have to go Anna Paulina Luna for Greg.

But anyway, it's the fourth chapter, so we're not at the end of story, so I'm sure that the best is left for last. Um, so there's NASA in this release. There's NASA audio of a known light phenomenon and then UAP footage of South— of this over the South China Sea. So you never know. And documents from Mexico, Virginia— I don't know why they put Virginia as like its own country— and Azerbaijan. Maybe they meant Georgia, um, which is its own country. But there's also video of the craziest thing, of 18 seconds of infrared video of a— it's like a pointed, 6-pointed star that is flying. It's 6-pointed, you know what that means. Um, the end is coming. That's That's what it means.

Um, I thought it meant the Jews are in control.

I know, it's another star. Great. Here we go again. More controversy. All right, Owen, was that going to be your story?

No, and so, but I do need to go. So thanks everybody. I'll see you again soon. Um, I know it's Friday, so I have the after party on the weekend, and so we'll have that and, and the Sunday simultaneous sip. So I'll see you over the weekend.

Double header with Owen over the weekend, you guys. Everyone say bye, Owen. Bye, Owen.

Bye, Owen.

Oh my gosh, Marcella, it's going to be me and you entertaining the crowd.

Still there though.

He's not there, he left. Okay, yep. I was like, he's gone, you guys. What do you want to talk about?

We can, we can talk about Owen and his shirts.

His shirts, his bookcase. He did not read those books, I don't believe it for a minute.

He had, he had AI read them.

All right, so you guys, you have us for like 10 minutes or so. What, like You know, let's, let's toss it to the crowd. What do you guys want to talk about?

You want to talk about, um, robot hands?

No, I, and I would need the clip. I, you need the clip for that one.

Do you need the clip?

Yes, you do. I'll pull it for Monday for you, Marcella, just for you. But you can't explain that. Um, I did see, what was that story? Wait, let me just peek. I wonder if I have it. Um, where are my bookmarks, you guys?

So I have two stories that are related to the flock camera story. Oh yeah, but, um, they're adjacent. Um, there is a story of Seattle mayor, your, your favorite mayor, one of your favorite mayors, uh, the socialist Seattle mayor who deactivated the stadium CCTV cameras post-World Cup so that, uh, ICE could not access them to, you know, get illegal aliens out. So that's, uh, you know, so a lot of flock— maybe it's— it can unite us, the whole no cameras flock, people with socialist— people that don't want cameras because of ICE.

All right, well, I'm pulling in a clip that I wanted to play, but because Jesse was going to be here, I said, oh, I won't do it today. So give me one second. And it pertains to the— I mean, I love that. I don't know, when I brought up the story the first day on the flock camera, I'm like, oh, people are going to think I'm nuts. But, and I love that it's actually a sensation.

The word flock itself is like, we're sheep, right? We're a flock.

A flock. Yeah. Why is—

is it a Chinese company? I need to see every— anybody in the chat know? More about—

well, let's watch this. So this is what you— all right, you guys, wink wink, okay? What you definitely need to know about the flock cameras, about people cutting them down. Okay, here we go.

Leave flock cameras alone. There's no need to label all the flock cameras in your area, and don't put plastic bags over them either, because all that does is cost the company time and money. Grow up. I know that you can use a $50 high-powered blue or green laser like this one to permanently blind flock cameras, but come on guys, why? Definitely do not use the camera map on deflock.org to find cameras, approach them from behind on foot with a spray paint extender and spray them. And if you do do that, at least make sure that you have your phone in your pocket so we can identify you using the Bluetooth and 5G. There is no reason reason to spend $20 on a hard hat and high visibility vest and then buy a $30 Sawzall with diamond tip blades to cut down the entire pole. That's because the cameras and solar panels are clamped with a simple 8mm socket, so you're just doing too much. The cameras have about 12 hours of backup battery, so they will be transmitting Bluetooth and 5G that we can use to track you. So under no circumstances should you put the camera inside of a Faraday bag while the battery runs itself out and then break them down down for parts because that would prevent us from finding you, and nobody wants that. If you do any of these things, it's important that you do not buy a pair of Vader facial recognition blocking glasses because then it would be impossible for us to identify you and charge you with a Class 4 misdemeanor, which is typically just community service or a small fine. And for the love of God, do not attend your city council meetings and demand that they cancel your city's Flock contract. We need these cameras. Peter Thiel is a benevolent overlord, and we should all be grateful that he loves us to keep us safe. Grow up, leave flat cameras alone.

Did you just say the F word?

Yes, I figured I'm muted, I'll really get a good one out. Oh my God, wait, did you notice that when he said Peter Thiel, the word came up as reptile? I didn't—

what is that?

The caption spelled it reptile for Peter Thiel. Well, that's— yeah, that was good information.

I was gonna tell you is like, we are not at the level of Europe. Like, we are at the level of flocked cameras and we're— oh no, the, the EU has The EU has mandated an in-car monitoring camera for all new cars that are sold in the EU.

Yep.

Like, stop, you guys.

And they don't vote for the EU people. The European citizens do not vote for these laws. They just send over the— they're part of the EU and the bureaucrats who create this rules. Like, they don't really get a say. So it might be coming, you guys.

You wanted to see these, here they are. They're like your signs from the '70s. It's like The Price is Right. Okay, um, I just, you know, and I have a lot of friends that are like, I don't care if anyone's listening to me, and what do I care? And I'm like, you're gonna care. You're gonna care one day. God forbid you get framed for something or set up for something, or your sarcasm was taken out of context text or you were joking around with a friend. You just don't know. And also, like, just leave us alone. I'm the biggest don't tread on me stan. Like, I mean, I should have that flag behind me, the Gadsden flag. Like, just leave, leave me alone. I'm good. I don't need you. You don't need me. Um, hello, Mary Kay. So you guys, um, I was thinking, so Jesse's gonna let me know when he's coming on. And also, so you know, um, Tuesday's show is going to be, um, only a half hour, okay? So Tuesday will be a half-hour show, and I think we're probably going to do a Scott lesson that day. I have to leave early, so we're just going to do a half hour, and that's okay. And let me see. And then next week, next week I have a couple of guests lined up for you guys, so we'll let you know as we go. And do you guys want to hear a Scott song, a Nakira song? You guys tell me which one you want, okay? One that starts with, when your body feels. One that says, beautiful world. One that says, I like all of these. Use your despair. Which one do you think? Stella's weighing in now. What you think about? Beverly, do you want what you think about? Let's go, girl. Stella, Marcella, and Erica, and, and little Messy, little Messy Cat. We're gonna rock out. All right guys, we love you so much. Let's always say thank you to Scott Adams and Shelley for allowing this show to go on. We appreciate you guys showing up. Thank you for hanging out with the delay today. Um, this would be a day where Scott Adams would have thrown his— all of his furniture out the window along with the printer. So, um, but thanks for hanging in there with us. And, um, what about— yes, okay, so you guys, let's see. Oh wait, what did, what did Beverly say? What you think about— yes, you did. Okay, all right guys, so let's have a closing sip to our beloved Scott. We'll rock out with some Akira, and don't forget to visit Owen tomorrow, and then we will be back on Monday. Okay, to Scott!

Look at the baby!

Just got—

guys, Argentina better win!

Oh yeah, Argentina better win. Okay, all right.

I saw a story in the South China Morning Post. It asks the question, can you train your mind to be happy? And it says yes, expert says. Would you like to know how? Would you like me to train you with my hypnosis experience into how to be happier? All right, well, I won't hypnotize you. I'll just tell you how to do it. Number 1: Whatever you think about the most is who you are. And you can change what you think about the most. It's easy. Watch. Think about your favorite animal. Could you do it? Of course you could. You all had a different favorite animal, but when I said think about your favorite animal, you could do it. You could do it. You could do it. So that was when your brain was focusing on a cool thing that you liked. Favorite animal probably made you a little bit happy. I mean, just a little bit. But during that time you were thinking about your favorite animal, you weren't thinking about some bad thing that could could have potentially put you in a bad mood or affect your energy or make you anxious or anything. Whatever you think about the most is who you are. So I just proved to you that if you just remember as a habit to change your thinking from whatever negative stuff to positive stuff, it's really that easy. Just think about stuff you like. Everybody likes something. Think about a person you'd like, experience you had. A walk on the beach, if that's your thing. Just think about it. And reduce the shelf time that you give to the bad thoughts. Because how much you think about something is what creates the structure in your brain that becomes semi-permanent. You can usually change it, but some— it becomes a little semi-permanent. So the more you think about positive things, the happier you're going to be.

I love the end of that song. That's the best one. Good pick, Beverly. Good pick. Great job, Akira and Scott Adams. We love that. All right, you guys, so here we go. Have a great, great day. Marcela, have the best best day ever. Get out there and kick some butt.

You too, everybody out there. Have a great day.

Yeah, enjoy your weekends, you guys. And, um, as I keep saying— you know what, I'm just gonna tell you a little secret, you guys. I keep saying life is short, life is short, life is short. Um, so I'm just gonna actually— let me, let me let go of this, and then I'll just stay here for a second. Hang on.
