The Scott Adams School - BJ Dichter Joins Erica & Marcela. Iran Deal? Kamala? Trump?

In this episode of the Scott Adams School podcast, host Erica welcomes co‑host Marcella and guest BJ Dichter, a Canadian commentator, for a free‑wheeling discussion that jumps from light‑hearted multilingual greetings to serious geopolitical analysis. The conversation opens with casual banter and a “sip” ritual before moving to a breaking‑news segment about an alleged FBI‑disrupted plot to attack a UFC event at the White House, which the hosts treat with a mix of skepticism and concern about false‑flag narratives. They critique media coverage of terrorism, noting perceived bias in how assailants are described. The dialogue then shifts to the contentious Iran nuclear deal, featuring a full reading of Brigitte Gabriel’s anti‑Iran speech and the hosts’ reactions, linking her arguments to historical examples (Treaty of al‑Hudaibiyyah) and to Scott Adams’ ideas about “filters” and hypnosis. Throughout, they discuss US politics – Trump’s handling of Iran, the prospect of Kamala Harris as president, and election dynamics – while also touching on immigration, border security, and the influence of extremist groups in North America. The episode repeatedly references Scott Adams’ concepts of individualism versus collectivism, media manipulation, and future threats to mass gatherings from drone warfare. It ends with housekeeping notes, upcoming guests, and a closing toast to Scott Adams.

On the dot, you guys. I tried to get here early, but it turned— the clock struck 10 right when I hit start. Good morning. Look who's joining us today, you guys. It's BJ.
Good morning. Buenos días. Hello, everybody.
Again, the multicultural language stuff.
Yeah. Well, because I love Spanish. Like, honest, since I learned Spanish, oh my God, I use it all the time. I never realized. You know how convenient it is when you overhear people talking behind your back and you're like, hey, hey, you know, like, there's money.
Since I'm like all into the— is arigato, that's my thing now. I'm Japanese now.
Konnichiwa.
Konnichiwa. I don't even— I don't know what I'm saying, but good morning in whatever language you listen to. So you guys, it's June 16th, plugging right along, 2026. Owen is on assignment today working on a big story for us. I'm just kidding. I wanted to sound like one of those podcasts. Oh my gosh, you did not miss a sip, Mary West. We just got here. Did I see Boo Dog in the house? Good morning, you guys. Um, okay, so I need a sip. You need a sip. We all need a sip. Let's Sip together. Here we go.
And all you need to enjoy the simultaneous sip is a cup or a mug or a glass, a tank or chalice or stein, a canteen, jug, or flask, a vessel of any kind. Fill it with your favorite liquid.
I like coffee.
And join me now for the unparalleled pleasure, the dopamine hit of the day, the thing that makes everything including the coronavirus better. Go.
Mm, mm, mm, how about that?
I can't wait till we get done with these COVID sips. That was delicious. Okay, is Uphill Gardener on YouTube yet? Oh, YouTube, you didn't think I was gonna call out a name. But Uphill Gardener, you typically delight me, but go easy on me sometimes, Lord have mercy. Okay. Welcome to the Scott Adams School. My name is Erica. I'm joined by my intelligent, beautiful, and witty co-host Marcella, and honking for freedom, BJ Dichter from Canada is in the house.
Marginally intelligent, but I am Canadian, so I have an excuse.
Well, I didn't know what to say, and then I didn't want to get like, you know, taken there.
I'm teasing, I'm teasing. I thought you guys would like it since you're—
We have a very strict HR department here.
Yeah.
Mhm.
I could say things, but I can't. That's for the after show. Okay, you guys, so listen, so much is going on. I mean, every day, every day I'm like, what am I pulling? What clips are we talking about? So I thought, let's just start off because I had this clip the other day. It's a little, you know, I'm going to say animal and everyone's going to yell at me because it's a dolphin. Okay, it's a dolphin. I know, animal, Erica, your things. But let's just watch this clip. And if you look in the background, you can see another dolphin waiting. For what's about to happen. Okay, let's take a quick peek.
1, 2, 3.
Oh, that's got to feel weird. Yeah, I wonder if it's like those pedicure fish.
Piranhas. Oh, it got caught.
Yeah.
I don't think so. I don't know. Does anyone know what language that was? I felt like— I don't know why. Again, you guys, this is just me talking. I felt like it was Croatian, and I have maybe no reason to believe that. It came literally out of my ass, so no idea. Yes, somebody let us know in the chat. You guys are smart. Um, okay, so I just had to share that because I love how the guys are all cheering like, yes, we Freedom. So that was that. And then I have one more little fun clip before we get into like the dregs of life. It's those Scotts again. Everything named Scott is good. So this is a clip of them at Fenway Park, which is where Boston plays. And I'm a Yankees fan, so I'm not going to make any comments, but look at them. We need to be more like the Scotts. Yeah. Aww. Am I going to get dinged for this song? I just realized. But anyway, I'll cut it there, YouTube.
But look how happy! You can talk over it.
Yeah, talking over it. Look at them. Usually—
I hear they're happy drunks.
Well, keep on drinking.
Like Twitter, 80% of the people there are drunk.
Well, typically from Fenway Park, no shade to Fenway or any other stadium, it's mostly expletives flying, but not in that moment. It's so sweet. I think I'm starting to like these soccer people.
By the way, shout out to Craig. Craig mentioned he's drinking his Tim Hortons coffee. Well, Craig, guess what I have in my mug? That's right, it is Tim Hortons coffee as well. People are gonna scoff at me.
Sure it is.
Mm, I'll get you the bag. I promise you, that's what it is.
Well, shout out to Costco with my Kirkland's Best.
Yes, take a sip.
Mm-hmm.
Mm, delightful. All right, I guess we should just get into it, you guys., so, oh, I did not know this, and maybe you didn't either until now, but look at what happened. Oh, okay. Let me go back.
All right.
Look at this. This breaking news just into the Fox Newsroom. The FBI disrupting this alleged plot targeting the UFC Freedom 250 event at the White House. Officials telling Fox, a network of nearly two dozen Potential plotters were identified with at least 5 people in custody right now. The suspects allegedly traveled to Fredericksburg, Virginia to make final preparations for the attack. And the alleged plan allegedly included explosive-packed drones hitting buildings near the event, forcing a mass evacuation, and then steering crowds, get this, toward a pre- staged sniper team. A second wave was then planned to storm the White House gate. The FBI first learned of the threat on June 10th and worked with law enforcement across multiple states to stop it. FBI Director Kash Patel saying, quote, we are built to detect, respond to, and bring to justice those who threaten the lives of American citizens, particularly during large gatherings like the historic UFC 250 fight. That's exactly what we did here. Over 4,300 people were in attendance for UFC 250, which included 1,200 service members. Luckily, nobody was harmed during the FBI's takedown. The event went off without a hitch.
Okay, so of course we have to say this could be a false flag, right? We have no idea if this is true, But oh my gosh. So BJ, I see your face. I can see you unlike when Owen's here. So I see you giggling. You're on mute just so you know. But what is your take on this story? It's pretty horrifying if true.
Yeah, I think it's people for, I mean, they're primed now due to a lot of propaganda to see everything as a false flag, which yeah, a lot of things aren't. They're just not gonna come out and say it just for fun. That, hey, this amazing event where we're gonna celebrate and have UFC at the White House, that we want it to be a major PR win for the Trump administration. Oh, by the way, we had a terrorist threat. Like, they're not gonna do that. That's the opposite of what they want. And I think what's unfortunate, having known people both in military and law enforcement, people who've dealt with this, is this happens a lot. This really does happen a lot, and if only it got the same amount of necessary attention that when things actually go boom, then perhaps people would be more predisposed to take the threats of terrorism and extremism more seriously. But it doesn't, so people will forget about it tomorrow and just move on.
Oh, I mean, it sounds horrifying. Marcella, before I get you to react, I'm just gonna play a quick clip of the vice president reacting.
Is it playing?
No. So Marcela, your reaction?
I'll play the vice president for today. Um, I guess there's like 5 people arrested for this in Ohio, Missouri, and California. You know what it reminds me of? The plot of putting, um, making everybody move to a certain area and then having snipers reminds me of the Las Vegas shooting.
Yeah.
And there is probably the most deadliest shooting that we've seen. So I'm glad that they were able to figure out that this was, you know, going to happen, allegedly, I guess. There's a lot of allegedlys in that video too.
I do think this This does happen more than we know, and it is, you know, it's big news because of everybody that was in attendance and what it represented. And, you know, maybe these were the sewer people, Marcella. I don't know. Maybe they went in the sewer from Brooklyn to D.C. I still wanna know what the heck's happening in our sewers. Well, you know what I mean.
Yeah.
So, let's give J.D. one more chance here. Nope. All right, JD, we're deleting you. So, you know, just really scary. This is why for me, I'm cautious about going to, you know, important gatherings or big gatherings. And I don't know, I just, just for a while now, I'm just going to be a little more cautious. BJ, do you have any concern about being in big crowds or are you just like, eff it?
No, listen, if the cartels and the and the narcotraficantes and the paramilitaries didn't get me in Colombia, then whatever, I'll take my chance with a few suburban Americans and sprinkled in a few Hezbollah terrorists, right?
No way.
But I think what's interesting is you always notice with the reporting that you notice they don't mention the assailant in the media. So I guess we can rule out straight white Christian male because that seems to be how it goes, right? When somebody's part of the diversity class, then the media is very quick to hide. And that's a phenomenon we see all over. We see in Canada significantly as well. You know, we had a mosque that was shot up in Canada, and within 3 minutes everybody knew the assailant 'cause he was a white guy. He was actually a lefty guy, but they tried to paint him as far right and white and nationalist and all that sort of stuff. But whenever that doesn't fit the mold, then all of a sudden, It's a shooter or a group or a man or a person.
Right.
And that's just the bias in our media.
You know. What is the Ann Coulter theory? I'm forgetting you guys. I'm seeing you saying that in the chat. Someone drop it for me because I don't remember. Although I think I remember now. But anyway, yeah. So, Marcella, you don't care. You went to That festival, what was it called? Coachella.
Oh, Coachella. Yeah, there's no buildings there though, so there can't be any snipers. I would not go to a Vegas show like the Vegas shooting there was. I actually was meant to go to that show in 2017. There was a lot of people I knew in the shooting Wow. Who survived. So it's no laughing matter for sure, because you have to be aware of your surroundings, and if there can be any kind of building that can, you know, as we learned from Pennsylvania, from Butler, it can even be a smaller roof. Oh, the Ancolter rule that no ethnic ID. Mentioned, right? That's what it says. But you know what, what, what, uh, what brings me to mind is Scott Adams saying, you know, you in the future, you won't be able to go to different, you know, like you can't gather together because there's drones. This, this plan had drones. And his book Religion War, he talks about that kind of attack of sleeper cells. So he always was of the mind that eventually you're gonna be afraid to go to big events like this, you know, because you can't really control drones. As we see the drone wars, as I call them, Ukraine and Russia, it's like, it's become a big deal. Like they've become very capable of carrying it out. And a drone could be a small thing, you know, like you can have it as a regular,, non, um, non-military action. But then there's, you know, we have a lot of enemies around the world.
So, yeah.
Marcia, when you said the buildings, remember the music festival, the Nova Music Festival in Israel on October 7th. That was in the desert. There was no buildings and it was a bunch of kids out dancing.
That was in Israel, wasn't it?
Yeah.
Yeah.
So doing Molly.
All of Israel is dangerous.
To me. No, but the point is there was no, uh, it's not like that if you go there. It's very different.
But the point is, I have been there.
Oh, have you? There's no, um, there's no building. The problem was there were no buildings. There's no place for anybody to hide. They tried to hide in porta-potties and in dumpsters, and they just tracked them down and executed them.
So the fact—
all right, things around.
Yeah, so here's the thing, you guys, just, yeah, if you have to go somewhere with a lot of people and you have to and you're not afraid, you know, but maybe just, I don't know what the answer is because, you know, I don't want people to live in fear, but live with your head on your shoulders of, you know, I don't know, risk reward. I know Scott, someone wrote there too. Yes, Scott, you know, he was like, I'm not going. Oh, Scott didn't leave his house basically, but he was also like, you know, I don't advise going into big crowds. I feel the same, Scott and I feel the same way.
I'm just like, I can watch it on TV. You know, like now BJ added another fear of like, if there is no buildings. And then there's the shooting at the movie theater, you know, that there was one back in the day. So, and then MKUltra comes to mind in my head. So I'm like, hmm.
All right. So, and by the way, I would love to know all about the Vegas shooting that we just stopped talking about. I would love to know what really happened in Butler, Pennsylvania. I would love to know the answer to all the unanswered attacks that, you know, they just sweep that aside, you know, moving on. Um, I would love to know, but we're not going to find out. So, all right, anyway, I'm going to move on. So yesterday, you guys, we were talking about, um, Bridget Gabriel. I was talking about her at the end of the show, someone I, I really like. I really respect her. She's super smart. And so we were talking our theme yesterday— BJ, were you here? It was okay. It was like compare and contrast. And so, you know, you have Trump and a bazillion people who want the Iran War to be over. And then you have people saying like, "No, you've gotta really finish the job," and this and that. And I understand both sides of it, but I was talking about Brigitte and why she said, "No, you can't have this deal. You have to take it all the way." And I promised I would play this clip today. I can't remember how long it is. It's a couple of minutes, so— Yeah. Let's watch her and then we'll chat about it when she's done. Or we're not watching her. Hmm. All right, you guys. All right, BJ and Marcella, I'm gonna reset the, um, things. If you guys could just talk for one second, I'm gonna disappear but I'll be right back.
Okay, you go first, Marcella. By the way, did you win in court?
Um, it's, it's to be— it's ongoing. Today, actually, I have trial starting.
So— You're supposed to say, "Of course I'm gonna win.
I'm Marcela, I'm always gonna win." Well, you asked me about in the past, and it was a mix. I won part of it, and I lost a part of it. So that's the judges for you. They split the baby.
All right, fair enough. So I think, you know, just for some context of Brigitte Gabriel, for people who don't know, she is Lebanese. She's a Christian— she's Christian Lebanese. She escaped Lebanon the same way that Gad Saad escaped Lebanon and came to the West. And she's been very vocal in trying to educate people in the West to explain that their value system, their programming, their framing of the world is not the same as ours. And they view the world very collectively, very tribally. And that they are, they are driven exclusively by extremist ideology. As again, it's not all individual people, but we're talking about the literalists, the, the extremists, the ones who have institutional power in making and running those countries, who've come here and have got involved in our governments, and now they're doing the same thing here. And I think that— and she's been an amazing voice on this issue for decades now.
Someone said, okay.
And then, um, there you are.
Is she what?
I know somebody asked if she's a plastic surgeon. I was like, Marianne, I have no idea why.
I don't think so.
She's highly educated. I don't know what it is, but I know she's well educated.
Yeah, she is. Good morning, Crusher. Okay, sorry for the little glitches, you guys, but it's Rumble and Scott probably wants his it that way. Okay. So let me play, let me play Ms. Gabriel and then we'll chat about her. Please, please. Let's just let her go.
Let's go. Hello, this is Brigitte Gabriel. Mr. President, you can never trust any deal with Iran. Are you familiar with the Al-Hudaibiyyah strategy of war in Islam? It is a signing of a peace treaty with your enemy to deceive your enemy. So you can use the time to restructure and rebuild, and then attack when they least expect it. It is based on the treaty signed by Muhammad in 628, which he used against the Meccans, called the Treaty of al-Hudaibiyyah. In 628, Muhammad traveled towards Mecca with 1,400 of his followers and made camp nearby at al-Hudaibiyyah. He and his men used to attack the Meccan caravans and steal their goods. Muhammad knew he couldn't win that fight, so he agreed to sign a 10-year peace treaty with them. The treaty became known as the Treaty of al-Hudaibiyyah. The Meccans believed they had peace. Muhammad used that treaty to rejuvenate and rebuild his army. He then attacked Mecca 2 years later when the Meccans least expected it. Mecca fell within 24 hours. This became an official strategy of war in Islam used for centuries. A perfect recent example is Yasser Arafat signing the Oslo Accord with Israel in 1993. When Arafat signed the Oslo Accord, journalists in the Arabic world would ask him in disbelief, How could you sign a peace deal with the devil Israel? Arafat would tell them in Arabic, remember al-Hudaibiyya, tadakkaru al-Hudaibiyya, while he would speak about peace in English. Everyone in the Islamic world understood what Arafat was doing while the Jews were singing Shalom Achshav, peace now, in Tel Aviv, rejoicing that finally We have peace with the Palestinians. Arafat used the Oslo Accord to return to the Palestinian territory, establish the Palestinian Authority, get Israel to train and arm his police. And within 8 years, the Palestinians launched the Second Intifada. Suicide bombers exploded in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, and Jewish blood spilled. Mm-hmm. Spilled on the streets. And here we are today. Mr. President, you can never trust the radical Iranian mullahs who consider us the Great Satan. The mullahs don't want peace with us. They want time, just like Mohammad at al-Hudaibiyyah and just like Arafat after Oslo. They will use any agreement to rebuild, rearm, and strike when we least expect it. The Iranian regime is a cancer, and the only way to deal with cancer is to destroy it, not manage it, not negotiate with it, and certainly not make deals with it. Please finish the job and remove this regime from power before it has the chance to attack us. Because if you don't, it will come back, and next time The blood won't just be on the streets of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. It will be on ours. And we will not have you, Mr. President, to protect us. The time for half measures is over. Please destroy the cancer. Thank you.
She's so good at delivering a message. She's very persuasive, you guys. I, I see you guys are like, oh, her voice. She's amazing. So Marcella, I'm gonna actually come to you first.
Oh.
Oh, I know, I know. But I think to say that I understand where she's coming from, you know, she's Lebanese, you know, she, I'm sure has family and friends there. So her life was based on this whole Middle East, you know, conflict always, like living in fear. But then I'm like, okay, I understand that, but the American people with our president seeing what our country is having issues with, it's fine to feel differently. It's fine to want to put America first or be like, okay, destroy them as much as you can, let's get out. So I understand, and I just wanna point that out too because Oh, that was a weird noise because, right? Yeah. Sounded like Elon came in. So it's just, I just wanna point that out because not all of us feel the same way about everything, obviously. We all have opinions and different ideas and maybe you're an American and you're struggling here at home and you're seeing things falling apart around you and you're just kinda like, can we just have your attention back here, big daddy, you know, with us? So I, I wanna say like, I completely sympathize with her and I completely get it. But my thought is, is like, can someone else take care of this? Like, does it have to be us? So what do you, what are you feeling? It's okay, Marcela, just whatever you're feeling about it.
Well, you know, she's right. What she's saying is right.
Yeah.
We all know that. But I would have to tell her, and I'm sure she knows this, that Trump's aware of the things that she's saying. He's aware of who he's dealing with, and I am loving his act at the G7, which I think some— you might have clips on. He is playing dumb. He's playing, um, he's playing the world, I suppose, because most people think, oh, he doesn't know that Iran is this crazy people evil and all the— all sorts of things. And you can't really trust doing any kind of, uh, agreement with a terrorist or terrorist-sponsored state, you know. But he, he knows all this. He's aware. Have you— you know, sometimes when I have cases and I'm dealing with, with certain things, I'm aware of who I'm dealing with, but I have to act as if I'm not, because all your cards cannot be shown while you're negotiating. So I understand what people are saying and how people are feeling. Like, he came out saying, oh, they're so nice, they're the nicest people I've ever dealt with. You know, he doesn't really mean that. Um, he is playing a part, and he is also putting in the chess— in the, in the chess game Israel as now I'm going to play good guy with Iran and I'm going to put Israel as the bad guy. And here's Iran and I'm going to act as if they're my friends. And Israel is like, what's— you know, I'm going to act as Israel's not, you know, but it's all part of a very elaborate, concise plan that he has. Only he can like see it. And that's one of the lovely things about Scott that we loved is that he like unpacked this for us. One of the things he was talking about is when he went to the White House and met President Trump in 2018, he was saying that in the—
Aw.
You just had that picture. I swear I didn't plan this with her.
Nope.
Yeah, we rehearse all of our actions.
Yes, but then you stay.
And while he was waiting, like, in the green room or in the area, Jared Kushner, I think I came up to him or something, and he talked about Wynn Bigley and how Wynn Bigley— they had read Wynn Bigley with Tiffany— I'm sorry.
Ivanka.
Yeah.
Well, Tiffany, I'm sure read it too, but Ivanka Trump read it and how like that in itself helped her understand her father. I think everybody has to kind of read "The Art of the Deal" and Gwen Bakely to really unpack what you have in President Trump. And I think President Trump, and is aware of what she's saying.
All right, so a couple of things. One, shout out to Tiffany Trump. No one ever drops Tiffany's name. Ever. Like, ever. That was amazing. So, oh my God, shout out Tiffany, the unsung hero. And I love everything you said. I'm sure he's aware. BJ, I'm going to play just a teeny, teeny clip. And then you can react to it.
Oh, but wait, but going back to your thing, America first.
Right.
You know, so in her viewpoint, she comes from this viewpoint of, you know, what she lived. And, and I feel for Israel, I feel for Lebanon and all that. But what does it mean to have to destroy Iran? What is— and I would ask her and she would know what that would mean, what that would entail. Like complete warfare, complete destruction. Complete. And that would equal wiping out— And the lives of our soldiers and the soldiers, Israel's soldiers, and so on and so forth.
All right. So here's a tiny clip. And then, BJ, you react to both.
But you wouldn't have— if it weren't for the United States of America with me at because Obama was the opposite. Israel would not exist right now. Israel would have been blown off the face of the earth 100%. And every smart person in Israel knows that. Okay.
Okay. So I'm just throwing that in there too, because, you know, he's flexing a little bit for us, for Bibi, you know. So putting those together, what do we got?
Yeah, I think the reason police use good cop, bad cop, because it works. And you've seen that repeatedly out of Netanyahu and Trump with this particular conflict. With regards to the deal, I mean, look, everybody in government knows, at least in the Trump administration, they know you can't have an agreement with people who seek death. That's just, that's their framing of the world. They, you know, the mullahs, the extremes, I'm not talking about the average Iranians who actually are celebrating every time there's a bombing, 'cause they want the mullahs and the IRGC gone themselves. So I think it's incumbent upon us to give Trump a little bit of leeway to know that, look, I've said this on Spaces many times, he was a real estate developer in New York. What does that mean? That means he needs to know how to work around and negotiate the mafia, the unions, the most dangerous of all of them, the politicians, the corrupt officials, the neighbors they gotta bribe, and whatever. His whole life has been dealing with seedy characters who are gonna try to knife him in the back at every opportunity, and he was successful. So he's not a fool. He knows that you can't have an agreement with a group of people that essentially have the intellect of a meth head on the street who is yelling at passersby just random nonsense. That's what we are dealing with on the other side. So what's the next play for him? Well, it's a great play would be, you know what, we got to do something right now. It's a stalemate. Let's, you know, shake the box. Let's shake things up. Remember, Scott Adams always talked about it.
Mm-hmm.
Let's give them everything they want. They've reneged on every deal we had. We have reneged on everything we've done in the 11th hour. Let's give them everything they want because you know what? They're going to renege on that as well because again, These are people who seek death and are ultimate supremacists. And I'm willing to bet that you are gonna see action either sometime in the summer, and it'll be very quick and swift, or it's gonna be after the midterms. And in terms of warfare with Iran, I think people, I think we're all kind of getting psyoped about how things actually operate. Firstly, we achieved all the objectives of World War II in the first 30 seconds. So all these predictions that, "Oh, it's gonna be the next Vietnam." I mean, if you look at Iran, what is it? It's a bunch of mountains. It's a big desert in the middle that nobody can use. And then on the southern part, that's where the trade route is. That's what the Silk Road was. So that's really the concentration of Iran. It's a pretty small area where all the people are. And the people don't want the regime, but the people don't have the will to fight because they don't have any weapons. Mm-hmm. They are surveilled almost as badly as people are in Canada. I'm gonna talk about that on my livestream at 11 o'clock today. So I think we just gotta give him a little bit of leeway. He's gonna give them a deal. He knows they're gonna reneg on it. And I'm sure they have plan B, C, and D already lined up because what they're very concerned about, as we know, are the midterms. And I personally think Trump is gonna dominate in the midterms.
Yeah.
Hmm, interesting. So is it your belief that Iran needs to be wiped out?
It's not Iran needs to be wiped out. The IRGC and the mullahs, yes, they need to be wiped out. The problem with this is, and this is Brigitte Gabriel's point and everybody in intel and military who's dealt with this and politics for decades, they want to die. We don't understand that in the West. Because that's completely foreign to Enlightenment values. They seek death, and like, when you see the planes that went into the World Trade Center, what was that? That was human sacrifice.
Mm-hmm.
They thought they were doing good for the world by sacrificing these kafirs. That's the world they live in. So yes, if they don't get rid of this regime now, It will— it'll go below surface, is what Hezbollah did. Every time Israel would have to retaliate against rockets and Hezbollah from the north, because this— when I was in Israel, 1999, there was rockets, rockets the entire time. They'll go in with an insurgency, they'll kill all the guys that are firing rockets who base themselves along the south, and what'll they'll do? They'll rebuild. They'll wait for supplies from Iran and money. They'll take a couple of years. And then they'll do the same thing again. They're just doing this on the national scale. And what I've seen in politics, like when people say America first, it's the systemic versus linear thinking approach. Who do you think rigs the elections? Like, I know I've seen ballot harvesting in campaigns in Canada because we have it. We have it on the, the primary level. That's where all the rigging is. They're all Islamists, and half of them are connected to what we call the Jafari Mosque. Which is an Iranian mosque in Canada. Those are the people going out ballot harvesting and rigging the elections here. So you solve so many problems with getting rid of this regime that has proxies all over the world. And you'll notice, I think it was Joe Pollock wrote the article of a terrorist from Brazil that was apprehended yesterday or the day before in the United States that was planning an insurgency. I don't know if it's the one you're talking about or a different one, maybe a different one. Yeah. Because Brazil has a massive Hezbollah problem. Who's Hezbollah? That's Iran. Well, how do you end up getting a leftist communist government, Lula, in place in Brazil when Bolsonaro was overwhelmingly popular? Well, you get these people who know how to rig elections. So there's so many of the world's problems that will never be solved, but they'll be significantly better managed if that regime has gone out. And that's why there's people, you know, people say, 'Netanyahu's been saying this for 30 years.' 'I, you know, all these other, you know, politicians, they've been saying it for 30 years.' Yeah, because he never solved the problem. And we don't want it to go on for another 30 years. At least that's how I see it.
I think it's important to understand too, you know, instead of having a bleeding heart over people, you know, crossing our border, they're not coming here for a better life, these people. They're coming here because they have a plan and a plot And it's working.
And you know, I, I have a friend of mine, she's very well connected politically in a number of countries in South America, and she lives in the United States. She was born in the United States and she lives on the border. And I remember a year and a half ago she sent me a bunch of videos. Uh, she lives like right on the border in Arizona in a nice little town, and she took some videos of the people were crossing the border illegally when Biden was in power. And I said, What language do they speak? Let me guess, not Spanish. No, it was Farsi, Urdu, and Arabic, and some, some were Somali. That was everybody that was crossing in.
Yeah.
So, yeah, there's people that want a better life, but the problem is amongst them, right, you have the extremist insurgency because those countries have very little or no infrastructure. This is why, you know, the last point, and I'll shut up. I remember many years ago when I was involved in politics, this was one of the issues. Like, people said, well, 'Why don't we just screen for people?' And this intel guy said to them, this was with a bunch of parliamentarians, he says, 'How you gonna screen people from Somalia? What infrastructure is in Syria that's gonna give you a criminal record?' Like, you understand the rest of the world is not America and Canada, and it's really kind of the Wild West.
Mm-hmm.
And even in South America, Colombia's basically, a country of city-states. And it's difficult for us to understand that if we haven't explored other parts of the world.
Yeah, I invited someone to come on last night, an old friend. He's gonna come on. He's a friend of Scott's also. He's been on with Scott, Brandon Darby. And he's gonna really unpack for us, you know, why this is a problem when anyone comes over your border. It's not because we're mean. It's because people have different objectives, different cultures, different ways of life. And, you know, I— again, someone correct me, but if you're seeking asylum, aren't you supposed to go to the next country?
Like— Yes.
So how do the Somalians end up here? You know, it's like, go to the next country. You don't just be like, hey. So you have to understand, these people are— typically nefarious. All the children that have been trafficked and abused, you know how many we found already? I mean, and the thought of like what has been going on with these kids, you guys, I couldn't even pull those clips for you, just giving you the idea of what's been happening to these children. It's— you can't even imagine it. If I told you, you would think I was lying. Um, so we have a problem, but, um, I don't know. So I just wonder, so can I ask another question? I wasn't planning on going here, but so what about BJ? What about how everyone's saying that, you know, Bibi is trying to avoid arrest and everything else? Like yesterday I was like, just give the man asylum. And, you know, do the Jewish people in Israel feel like they, need to elect somebody? I mean, they weren't happy with Bibi before this started. So how do they— I mean, now it's a wartime, so like you get nervous, but how do they really feel about Bibi? Would they have preferred to have their own election? Like, what if he hadn't had asylum and he doesn't have to worry about anything? You know, is that an issue?
I think it's— I think the problem is we in the West, people who don't really have much exposure to Israel, we take this collectivist approach to Israel that we think, you know, oh, Bibi is the appointed dictator because the Middle East, uh, it is a Western country. And one of the big problems with Israel is it doesn't have two political parties, it has a hundred. Like, nobody can agree on anything. And they have the woke mind virus there as much as possible. There's a massive scandal around the IDF and Israeli intelligence with woke people getting in there and helping the Biden administration sabotage the government and their receipt of weapons that they had paid for from the United States. So I think people need to under— it's a better frame to understand. And me and Scott talked about this, that the world in, in a space that the world is complex without all sorts of competing interests that are sometimes aligned and sometimes not. Uh, Bibi is going into an election, and he's in election period right now. I think from what I understand, because I haven't dealt delve deep into it. I know people on all sides. It seems to be that a lot of this is very similar, similar people funding it. The 94 indictments around Donald Trump, that you're seeing a lot of that in Israel from the radical left that are trying to unseat the Netanyahu government. And by the way, and you must have— you might have heard this in Owen's, uh, space— the right wing in Israel, some of them are very frustrated with Israel because they think they played it, placated to Biden's demands, and it should have been done in the first 3 months. That they sacrificed Israeli lives to go door to door, and many soldiers got killed because they got involved in urban warfare when they said, we didn't have to do that. We could have told everybody leave and we're leveling the city until we find all the— the Hamas terrorists, but he didn't do that. And there are practical reasons for that. Again, it's— life is a series of trade-offs. It's not so binary and simple. Marcela knows this from practicing law, although you see that on a daily basis.
Mm-hmm.
So I think we gotta take a lot more nuanced approach to what Israel is and get away from the collectivization that all Israel is X, all Jews are X, all Christians are X. Like, we're all many different things, and that's why I do like the, the Enlightenment individualistic, uh, perspective. And by the way, I think this is what Scott Adams— and, you know, when he's basically taught hypnosis, or basics of hypnosis, to a lot of people, to understand people's programming, to understand them as individually, that it's code, it's the collection of the 5 opinions that you hear most frequently are, are your opinions. That allows you to understand, okay, what is this person's basic philosophical framework? And if you understand the philosophical frame that somebody's coming from, or as Scott would call it, their filter, then people start to make a lot more sense and it's easier to communicate to them. Which is, these are all things that come out of hypnosis, so.
I wanna say one more thing to you, or ask you, BJ, and then Marcela, I'm giving it to you. So just 'cause we're on this subject, I just want everybody to feel heard and represented. So I wanna get your take also, BJ, because you're—
Oh, I'm in trouble today.
No, you're not. You're helping just, I just wanna like sort some things out because for someone like me, okay, I really am trying to avoid giving any disclaimer or, you know, preamble about I'm not a racist, I'm not a, you know, I'm not—
That's what you have the signs for.
Yeah. Like, I just want to say, like, I'm not anything, okay? I'm an American. So I just want to say, and I just want your take on this because I know you're very, would I say pro-Israel?
Is that—
I'm pro-West and pro-American.
Okay.
That by default right now in the world makes me pro-Israel.
For sure. Okay.
So I'm anti-jihad. And the jihadis don't like Israel, as you, as you can tell, right there.
I too am anti-jihad.
Yeah. Death to Israel.
Death to—
remember, these are the death to America people.
But I do want to say this, okay? Because I think the majority of people in this country, like, we see this whole conflict like, I don't have a dog in this fight. And to sound— not to sound callous, but just say I don't really care about what's happening over there because I'm worried about what's happening right here in my house, in my life, my family, my future. It feels grim, it feels rough, it feels like we're being ignored. And I want to say to those people, that does not make you an anti-Semite to not want this war and to not give a shit about it. Okay? I just want to tell you that. And you don't have to have a dog in every fight that's thrown in front of your face. You could be like, I abstain. I don't know enough about it. I can't. I can't even be bothered caring about it. I've got bills, I've got this, I've got that. This is not on my radar. And I— and BJ, do you agree that like not caring about this war or wanting it to go on does not make you an anti-Semite?
Oh no, I agree. I agree 100%. Um, I think what the problem is, like, why this war? You know, there's chaos all over Africa. Nigeria is about to fall to Islamists. People are being— Christians are being killed en masse there. They're trying to get some attention to it. Africa is a disaster. Syria is still a disaster despite what the Trump administration is trying to convince us of. And many other countries in the world. But it's always this— this is the conflict that is put on people's radar. Like Scott Adams always said, you care about what you hear about most frequently. This is what the adversaries of Israel know. And the adversaries of America know.
Mm-hmm.
Just say Israel, Israel, Israel over again, because again, Holy Land Foundation, Muslim Brotherhood document says we're gonna use Israel and Palestine to create a wedge within the West and get the Christians fighting with each other. Why? Because that is the one country— and this is what makes me crazy about people in the West who are like anti-Zionist— that's what you want! What Israel is doing is what you want in the United States! You want a country that is gonna protect your culture, your identity, secure its borders, focus on the economy, and build a modern future. That's what you want. So, and it just boggles my mind when people start, you know, want exactly what Israel is doing, and then they shoot themselves in the foot and start criticizing exactly what they want for the UK or exactly what they want for America. Yeah. America. And that is intentional. And I don't blame people because the level of sophistication of the propaganda in the world is so sophisticated. Mm-hmm. And Scott understood this. You know, the last thing I'll say, this intel analyst who I got very close to, learned a lot from when I was involved in politics, just a really smart guy, the real-life Jack Ryan. He used to teach at the university level information source reliability and information credibility. So him and his co-leader, he would teach it at the university level, how to be able to determine what is truth. And I remember one day he called me, he said, he was a little bit distressed, he says, "I can't tell what's true anymore.
I now, I just don't know." Yeah, I think we all feel that way.
It's the Yuri Bezmenov strategy. You know, I know it was—
I'm gonna play that, I'm gonna play that tomorrow. Are you guys, the Yuri Besmenov strategy. It's very interesting.
Yeah, and it was odd that Scott was dismissive of it. If you remember, he was like, "Well, I don't know if I really believe it." Maybe he didn't watch Yuri Besmenov at length, but Yuri Besmenov was explaining everything that Scott was teaching, but it's being used politically to divide people in the West and America. So I get the people who are, "I don't care about Israel." For me, that's like, okay, that's somebody who's just not into geopolitics. And doesn't really want to understand the intricacies of— they just want their gas prices to go down. I get that. That's a completely rational perspective. But then there are other people who, unfortunately, some of us have had no choice but to deal with this crap our entire lives. Like when my— when I was in— my friends were in university at York University, we would have the Hezbollah marches every week on campus to target and harass Jews on campus. This is in the '90s, and this came from Iran, and it hasn't stopped. Mm-hmm. And I think Trump understands, and that administration understands, okay, it's getting too much because now China's getting involved, we have the internet, the level of sophistication is so sophisticated at this point that we just gotta put an end to it because it's just getting annoying. And that's why many people like Brigitte Gabriel were frustrated with saying, oh my God, you're 9/10 to the line of ending it. You're almost there. But I think what they don't understand is Trump's not an idiot. He knows they're gonna renege on it at some point.
Yeah, like Marcela was saying. So you guys, I just wanna do a quick housekeeping right here. So not every show is like, oh, everybody has to talk for equal amounts of time. Marcela knows that. I'm gonna turn it over to her in a second, but sometimes there's a conversation going and there's things that I wanna, put out there for your benefit. Sometimes we need a little bit more information and to dive a little deeper into something, and this is BJ's wheelhouse. So, I'm asking him additional questions, things that I think are interesting to hear about. And if I say some people aren't into the Iran War and then I have Groove Music saying, "Well, then be fair and say you don't like the Ukraine War." I don't like any effing war.
Okay?
I didn't know I had to list them all. Okay, I'm into America right now. That's what I'm into. I'm not into any fricking war. I understand that sometimes they're necessary. I don't, like, I don't hate the Iran war. I hate the Ukrainian war. I hate the Ukraine war. I, with a passion. It's just money laundering in my opinion. So I don't like any. I understand the utility in some. And you guys, you just have to be okay with it, okay? Not every show is gonna be like a home run for you, but maybe you'll love Tomorrow's Better. But for the most part, like, I'm— Yeah. I'm feeling away today, okay? So just give us a break sometimes, okay? Now, Marcela, now that I got all heated, um, on anything we were just discussing, or whatever you want to say, like, give it to us, sister.
I agree with both of you, like, completely, 100%. Um, it's interesting if you take a look and do a perspective of like, if you were to be on an airplane and look above and look at all the pieces, you have to also realize who is—
who—
what country is actually benefiting from us being involved in Israel, Ukraine, Russia, um, Iran. Who is benefiting? Ask yourself that. Um, I think I have an idea of who it is, and they're very quiet, quite, quite quiet over there.
Do you want to elaborate or no?
Well, you know, I don't want to— I don't want to know. I'm not sure who precisely, if this is like their plan, but they are going to benefit from it. China, you know, they're benefiting from it, you know.
100%.
Um, so one of the things we have to, um, come together with— first of all, America first, always. You know, where you live, it's— this is your country. This is, this is where we need to You know, Canada first for BJ.
Excellent. Yes, America first, but with America at the lead.
How about that?
Excellent. However, BJ would agree, and so would Erica, is your terrorists in Iran, your Hezbollah in Lebanon will not stay there because of what we're saying. The borders were open, so we have them in are, you know, at our door.
Yeah.
Here in America as well. So to ignore the fact that this is going on is to kind of go to Chamberlain, World War II, just like Hitler will go away, don't do anything about it, just relax, you know, kind of like the, the, the UK was more chilled about, oh yeah, did Hitler take over another country, you know, during that time? You know, he won't take over us. So the, the, the, the thing is balance. Like, how much do we put energy into that? How much do we put energy here? I feel like the fight is there and here, and we always talk about it. So it's a little bit more, uh, black and white, I guess, and less like completely nothing in Israel. We're not going to be involved with Israel and Iran, and then we're just going to ignore all that. We can't really ignore it. And I— and both Erica and BJ know that. And I think the difficult part is how much energy to put into America versus how much energy to put internationally. And, you know, it's a really hard job to be president and to rule this world, I guess, you know. So I think we have the right man to do that. But I think when he says things, and I don't think you played all of them, he knows. He knows. He knows what Erica is saying. He knows what BJ's saying. I think, you know, thank goodness that Kamala did not win. You know, if we had Kamala Harris as our president, this would be a whole different situation. But so—
And I feel like from— that's very good analysis, Marcella. And I feel like from that perspective, like when BJ was talking about, you know, in Canada and all of these— I'm blanketing the word, but like Arabs taking over in politics. That's what I mean.— like, I'm like, deal with that here. Like, all of those people need to GTFO here. So, you know, like, I know we have to take care of it, but like, take care of it here, you guys. Like, our politics are being overrun with these people. Look at Somalia. Look at, you know, the whole Ilhan Omar contingency. Look at New Jersey. OMG. I did not get to play everything.
Oh, okay.
I, I will play this really quick. Okay, let's just get in another clip. There's so much interest in the text of the document.
Why not? Why not release the text? Oh, I will. Why not release it? Well, because I'd like to get a formal setting first before we do that. But I have no problem with that. It's a good document. Here's what it says. Iran will never have a nuclear weapon. That's what it says. It won't have one to buy, to develop. They will not have a nuclear weapon. And I would say that's about 99.9% of what I wanted, because we couldn't let that happen. You couldn't let that happen. And they won't have a nuclear weapon. Now, in addition to that, the strait is going to be open toll-free. And it's toll-free beyond the 60 days. It's not— somebody said, oh, it's toll-free for 60— no, no, it's toll-free, period. When it opens permanently, it'll be toll-free. Mr. President, Wolffrey. I want to congratulate our Navy because the naval blockade was unbelievable. But I will actually— I'll not only release it, I'll probably have a press conference and read it to you word by word so that the press covers it accurately, because it's a— it's a very important document. And unlike Obama, who could have destroyed the Middle East with a horrible JCPOA. It is the worst agreement. That was a road to a nuclear weapon. Mine is a wall against a nuclear weapon. I mean, I see these people say, but we already had one. That was the worst. He paid a fortune for it. We paid nothing. We don't pay. There was some statement we're going to spend $300 billion. No, we're not. We're allowed to go and invest. If we wanted to someday in the future. We have no obligation whatsoever. It could be that Iran will turn out to be successful when they have oil. But if we left a week ago— just left— before the last 2 attacks, it would have taken them 20 years to rebuild Iran. So— but I'll go over the document with the media. Mr. President, in a couple of days. Information.
Okay, so, and not to, not to leave you hanging, so someone said the word Kamala. Who said it first? You, Marcela? Yes, you did. You brought her to the show. Here we go. Well, gas has not been cheaper for a lot of people this year because, because of the war with Iran, which has been one of the biggest energy stories of the year.
First off, If you were president, does that war even happen?
So are we gonna have this conversation? I'm happy to.
Sure, yeah.
First of all, this is a war the American people did not want. This is a war of choice. This is a president who has proven himself to be entirely self-indulgent, and we will see what happens in the coming weeks. —coming hours and days in terms of the negotiation and really it's a concept of an agreement and where it ends up. But there is no question that there is a direct correlation between this war of choice and what has happened in terms of gas prices. It is estimated the average American has spent since the war started $500 more because of this war. And I will add to that number to put it in context. The average American is $400 away from bankruptcy for any unexpected expense. So $400 of an unexpected expense could result in bankruptcy for the average American. And this war has resulted in $500 more of expenses, a large part of that because of the gas prices going up.
But to be clear, if you were president, you'd never start this war?
Absolutely not. Absolutely not. And let's be clear about this. Let's be clear about this. Thank you, Tim. Let's be clear about this. Whatever is being negotiated, this president is going to declare victory and will end up where we were after the JCPOA and call that a victory, the JCPOA that he withdrew from.
The Obama nuclear agreement. And so you're not— I mean, that's your thought on this potential deal?
Well, I have more thoughts, but that's not why we're here.
Yeah, yeah, sure.
I love, I love watching the climate cult all of a sudden be concerned with gas prices.
Oh my God, you guys.
They are all PR agents and horrible salespeople who couldn't cut it in the private sector of sales. That's why they went into politics. They're such losers. So many of them.
That was amazing.
Small time with them, you realize so many of them just have a 67 IQ.
Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. And you guys, locals, everybody in the chat, you did not let us down with your comments during that clip. Bravo. Beautiful, beautiful. Okay, Marcella, any closing comments? We've hit our time.
Well, she's wrong. We— it wasn't a war of choice. We've been fighting this war with Iran for 47 years.
Right.
So Iran has always been our enemy, you know, and the fact that we're actually fighting back and we're actually letting them know you can't do this to us or you can't do this to the entire world, putting a stop to it. She would have just kept on going like every other president and just let it slide, which then becomes now nuclear, now this, now that. And one last— and one last comment onto that. Is, you know, I'm just glad she didn't win. Holy shit. Because we can't hear that for 4 years.
No, absolutely not. And there's Tim in the front.
Tim was there.
Oh my gosh.
Arnold was next door, next to her.
Oh God. All right, BJ's going live, you guys. BJ, on X you'll be for people?
Yep. And last thing quickly, people get confused with America's been at war with Iran for 47 years. Think of Iran as a sniper. They've been sitting in the shadows and they periodically take a shot from time to time and do major damage. That's been happening for 47 years. It's got to stop. Uh, yeah, I'm going to start in, uh, as soon as we're done, I'm going to start my live stream, Locals, YouTube, like all the usual stuff.
Same as you. Okay, great, you guys. So if you want to continue chatting, um, excuse me, you guys, tomorrow, um, we'll be back. Jeff is going to be with us. Our friend Jeff Callahan will be here. And tomorrow night, Locals only. Jim Wyman, friend of, uh, everybody's, uh, on Locals. He is going to come on with me, and if somebody else wants to join in, let me know. We're going to have a Locals-only discussion. He was at the Capitol on January 6th and was put in jail, and we're gonna, we're gonna talk about it and, uh, get to know Jim and his story. Okay, so that'll be 8 PM Eastern time tomorrow night, so that'll be really fun. Thanks for, you know, listen Sometimes we get a little more heated, sometimes it's more serious. Yesterday it was like sports and nonsense, which I hope I never have to do again. So you never know what you're gonna get. It's a little variety over here at the Scott Adams School, and I think we like it that way. BJ, thank you so much. Marcella, you are amazing. Marcella's gonna be off for 2 days. She's going to trial, man. She's gonna go kick some ass.
Win.
Yep, she's gonna win. Yes, we got you.
I'll be out Monday too.
I know, I didn't want to break that to them yet. Yeah.
Oh, for trial, because there's a gap in trial for Juneteenth.
Yeah, yeah, of course. Oh my God. Don't forget your banks are closed on Friday.
It's a holiday.
Oh, so ridiculous.
I know, we're not a serious country. Marcela, we're going to miss you. Miss my girl. All right, you guys, as always, a closing thank you to Scott Adams and Shelley Adams for allowing this Scott Adams School to continue. Thank you to every single one of you who show up. Even if you're cranky with me, I still love you, so too bad. And let's be useful today. Question everything, keep your head on a swivel. And as always, a closing sip to our beloved Scott, and we'll see you back in the morning. To Scott. Thank you, BJ.
I love you all.
Bye, guys. I'll stay on with the Locals peeps for a minute, okay?
Okay. Okay, bye, guys. Bye.
