AEP is almost here. I don't have any leads and I don't have a budget for ads or buying leads. What do you recommend that I do? This is an email that I received from a Medicare agent this weekend, and welcome to my series where I am answering questions about generating leads during AEP. Now let's dive into this one because I'm sure she's not the only one that has ended up in this position. Now of course there's grassroots marketing, but let's focus on the digital side and what you have available to you to actually generate leads for free. The very first thing I would recommend that you do is make sure that you have a Facebook business page and that you have a profile photo with a photo of you. You have your information of how to contact you, very easy to find. And then I would also put that information on your personal profile page, or if you already have friends and a community, then start having activity on both your personal page and your business page so that way you can maximize your reach. Now, number 2, I would say, Post as often as you possibly can. Post every single day if it's possible. Post twice a day if it's possible. Take advantage of this time of year where you actually have a true deadline, where you can have some urgency behind what you're actually saying. You can literally say, we have a limited time that we can review your Medicare plan and we can make sure your doctors are in network and your prescriptions are covered and you don't have any types of penalties and so on. And then when it comes to actually posting on your page, I always say you want people to see Okay, C-C-C-E-E-E. The 3 C's are the 3 components of building trust, and that is comprehension, compassion, and character. Comprehension, you want people to land on your page and see that you're an expert and know that you know what you're talking about. Second, they want to see compassion and that you actually care about them. And third, they want to know that you are the type of character that they want to work with. And we do that by posting educational, empathetic, and entertaining content on your page. So start getting on your page, answer common Medicare questions, talk about what it's like to work with you. Tell a story about what it's been like for you to help a different senior, and so on. But do not lose hope. There is still a way for you to start generating leads right now, and especially taking advantage of the time frame that we have and the true deadline that you have during AEP. If you have a question about lead generation during AEP, don't hesitate to ask, and I'll see you in my next video.
