Don't chase certificates, chase experience. You actually do not need certifications to be a good coach. If you're going for a certification, go for getting the skills. But honestly, people don't buy from you because of you showing the certificate. This is a very formal education system thing. If you're an engineer, you're stamped, or if you're a doctor, you're stamped, and now you're earning your credibility in the market. In coaching, it is very different. Coaching is all about your life experience. I don't have a degree, but I'm able to have so many people from IIM and IIT in my community who are learning from me. Not because of my certificate. I don't have a certificate. People are learning from me based on my practical experience and a system that is working. So people, they will buy from you based on your system. So don't chase certificates, chase skill sets. Don't chase certificates, chase getting results for your students and make that into a model. That is your certificate.
