Your child will never be successful if you have this mindset. You want them to follow the old norms, what your previous generation has given you. You're not able to appreciate them for who they are and what talents and skills they have, and you're only pushing them towards degrees and other kind of stuff that the formal education system is propagating. And you're not appreciating their talents and skills and not giving them time, and you're giving them a whole bunch of things to do, uh, thinking that you as a parent you're doing your great job by telling them to do multiple things rather than not making them focus on the thing that they really meant to be doing, that's the mistake. Now, if you're a parent and if you have a child, let them be who they are. Understand what are their top 3 values, what do they value most, and let them do more of that. When your child can start living their life based on their highest values, they will start to become better at it. And as they gain the range of skills Through the many years that they're going to be going through, the dots will connect at some point of time. Do not force them to anything. Give them the freedom, create the value system, and let them be.
