Short YouTube interview segment where Sonya Shelton explains that discipline connects to her "why": making an impact. She says daily practices (even meditation) keep her clear and present for clients; when disciplined, work feels less like work because it serves that purpose.

How does discipline play a role in your life? Sonya it.
Goes back to my why? Because it's around making an impact. And so if I don't do these things, even meditation, right? So if I'm not clear and I'm not present for my clients, I'm not going to have the same impact. So I really kind of center it around that. That's the driver behind my motivation when I'm disciplined. And then it doesn't feel like work to me.
