A short transcript excerpt from a YouTube discussion about writing Facebook ad copy that converts while remaining compliant—focused on the expert coaching space. Speakers (Saba and Speaker A) advise using the problem-agitation formula in third-person (avoiding directly pointing out reader flaws), using stories, and relating common coach complaints as a way to agitate and then present an offer.
Next question from Tim is how do you write compliant, problem agitation, Facebook ad copy or what's your alternative approach, specifically in the expert coaching space? That's a great question with Facebook being as finicky as it is, so I feel like Saba should answer this one.
Yeah. So you can still use the problem agitation, you know, formula for your Facebook ads. It's really going to come down to, as long as you're not talking to the reader, basically pointing out their flaws when you're writing it. You can say things like, you know, a lot of coaches, I think, expert coaching. Yeah. So, you know, a lot of coaches experience xyz, you know, setting up the problem and then you can still agitate and you can go on and on about how painful it is, how aggravating it is, whatever the situation is, and, you know, continue on into the offer. You can still, you can basically still write in that. In that formula. You just have to kind of do it on like a third person voice.
Awesome. Yeah. And I've had some success with stories too.
And you can get into that. Yeah. If it's a guru or somebody that is, you know, the person behind the offer, you can say, I've had a lot of coaches come to me complaining about the same thing. And then you just list all the things that most coaches complain about. That's another way to do it. Basically, you're trying to relate to the reader, saying that this is what you're probably dealing with. Right. Sort of like the subtext going on in my copy.
Sweet. Awesome. We do have a question on the Facebook from Daniel Martinez. Yeah, totally. He's up now, actually, so I had him timestamped when he came in, trying to give that professional experience.
