You cannot live your life based on the opinions of others. You can't become successful based on the opinions of others. At the end of the day, you've got to decide what you stand for and what you stand against. At the end of the day, you've got to understand more than anything else that what you value most, what core values are within you, have to become your guiding light. Now, for me, it's faith, it's integrity, it's character, it's hope, it's encouragement, it's inspiration. So by definition, if I'm hanging out with people and they start going down the negative track record of hating on other people or trying to take advantage of other people or whatever, I'm going to leave and I listen to the opinions of others. I never would have built my first business. I never would have started putting myself out there. I never would have written a book. I never would be coaching and trying to work with people on a regular basis, building businesses of their own. The end of the day, you've got to be authentic with yourself.
