Dan Sachkowsky built a successful business by 17 and had wealth and luxury by his mid-20s, but felt empty the whole time. A heart attack made him realize his motivations were wrong. He shifted from chasing money to finding actual purpose.
Is there a moment in time where strength cost you when surrender could have saved you?
So today's guest is a high-level performance coach serving out of New Jersey and the Florida area. Made millions, lost it all, had to rebuild it all. Please help me welcome Dan Sikowski.
I started my first business at 17. I had no idea what I was doing. Ignorance on fire. 24 years old, I got a 5,000-square-foot house. I got 2 Escalades. I got an S55 AMG. There comes a point in your life where you realize that there's a problem. You're literally going through this system. And I remember talking to God and I'm like, hey, like, why do I keep self-sabotaging myself? Why every time I chase something and get it, there's no fulfillment and I'm just not happy? I knew that I had leverage, but then I have a heart attack and that changed everything. Because even though you're building a successful company, you're making all this money, sometimes your focuses are still off. You're still doing things for the wrong reasons. And that heart attack checked me big time.
