The speaker shares their personal routine, emphasizing gratitude, personal development, and reflection as key components for success.
You may be taking massive action, but you may not still be getting the result. Well, in this video, I'm going to show you how to consistently get the results from all the actions you're taking. So stay tuned.
One of the reasons I took massive action but still got no results or no consistent results was because I had no consistent routine. You see, routines reinforce our behavior patterns, and as we reinforce our behavior patterns, we get consistent results. So let's talk about how to make a routine in such a way that gives you consistent progress day after day after day. And the best way to do that is to briefly go over how my personal routine shapes my everyday walk of life in hopes that these will give you the bolts and the things that you need to shape your own routine so you can make your own and start getting results. First of all, every single morning, Every single morning, the first 30 minutes of my day is spent in prayer, meditation, and gratitude. I want to thank the Creator that I believe in for all the opportunities and all the things that he's basically bestowed upon me. Even when I was homeless, I still gave thanks. That thankful spirit, I personally believe gave me stewardship confidence. I was able to use the fact that I was just being thankful for living and breathing to carry me through to the point in which I was actually achieving some things. All right. My morning routine of gratitude is very, very instrumental, and I think it will carry a long way. First of all, it starts off the day. Well, you're not thinking about all the mistakes that you made or all the junk that happened yesterday. Instead, you're saying, you know what? Thank you for another day. I'm so happy this day is here. Let today be a great day in which I can just get some things done and meet wonderful people. Show me the 10 closest people I can make an impact with. That's what gratitude does. It sets the tone for the entire day. Now, the next stage for me specifically is this personal development stage. In between the time that I finally get up off my knees and begin to head towards the gym, where I put on my gym clothes, I begin to set my mind to grow. What I mean by that is I rotate different principles or different areas of life each day. On Monday, for example, is financial. I want to learn more about financial practices. On Tuesday, I might focus on relationships. Or on Wednesday, I might focus on spiritual needs. But the next two hours of my day is focused in two specific areas, personal development and physical development. And here's what I mean. I'm sharpest when my blood's pumping right? So on my way to the gym, I'm throwing on YouTube, a podcast or some kind of audiobook to encourage my mind, my heart and my soul on the areas that I'm focused on that specific day. In the meantime, I first get to the gym and I'll hop on a treadmill or do some kind of cardio equipment for the next 20 minutes. While I'm doing the next 20 minutes, I'm typically watching YouTube content in a way to grow my own self. The YouTube content helps shape my mind, my spirit and my soul because I begin to learn in the form of digital mentorship. Much like right now, I like to learn from some of the most thought provoking leaders on the planet. It helps me expand myself, my mindset and everything else. Now the next step that I mentioned before is I hop off the treadmill and I go into my weightlifting routine. Some days I'm working my arms, some days I'm working my legs, some days I'm working my stomach, my chest, on and so forth. While I'm doing that, I will typically put on an audiobook and or a podcast that allows me to get some more information on how to continue to grow myself. All right, the very next thing that I do, after I've done my shower, after I've done my shave, and yes, shaving this bald head, the very next thing that I do is I review yesterday's leftovers. What I mean by yesterday's leftovers are some of the tasks or the items that I didn't get a chance to finish off the day before, especially if they're high priority items. The reason I do that is because I have taken the time the day before to do a brain dump so I can walk into my house and spend time with my family without being distracted. Another piece of our routine I'll get to in a second. But for the time being, I want to look at the list and I want to look at what do I need to tackle first to get the furthest, the fastest and make the biggest impact in my day. Right in between there, I'm going to have a meeting scenario.
Why? Because for me, morning time is when I'm sharpest. So if I'm going to have important meetings and work with other people, I need to set aside time for those meetings. All right, the next thing I'm going to do is I'm going to start working on my daily task list, whatever that may be. Maybe it's creating content, maybe it's actually helping one of my customers, maybe it's actually responding to Some of the Instagram Messages and the YouTube messages we get, whatever that task is, is going to be prioritized in most important, down to least important. All right? And then I work on that task list. The next thing I'm going to do is I'm going to just take action. I'm just going to spend time doing the things that I need to do to get the momentum I need to to carry me through the rest of my day and set up the rest of my week, set the rest of my month, set up the rest of my year. All right? That helps us kind of get through that process. I'm also double checking my milestones. If you haven't heard us talk about this before, we believe in motivational milestones, which means all we are looking for is milestones that become confidence boosters once they're done. Okay? So I'm going to review my milestones to see how close we are. Maybe it's the overall level of impact that we've made in the world or with some of the folks like yourself who are contacting us on a regular basis. Maybe it's actually how many folks was I able to get the pivot point or get the aha moment for that week? That's a major milestone for me. How many people were able to feed throughout the course of the week? All of these are really important to me. Okay? And then as my day wraps up, as I mentioned before, I'm going to focus on this brainstorm piece, right? I'm going to dump my brain and in order to offload the things that I didn't get done that day, but then take it to a whole other step. And that whole other step is actually the period of reflection. I want to take a few moments, be thankful again, but also ask for myself on a regular basis. What did I learn today? How did I impact today? What's the next step for me tomorrow? What can I do to better myself? What are some of the learning lessons that I made that day? If you're skipping the reflection time, then you're waking up every single day with your brain full of all the stuff from yesterday. And I suggest if you want to have a peaceful sleep at night, to empty your brain, take some time for reflection, do some more prayer, journaling, and meditation, if you will, and then keep moving forward. And what will happen is It'll take about 30 days. But as you begin to put this routine in practice, no matter what these steps are for you. Again, this is my outline. As you begin to put these steps into practice, each and every day will give you more fullness, more passion, and more excitement. Why? Because you're not carrying a bunch of baggage with you day in and day out. The consistency breeds the results. The consistency changes the behavior patterns. These are the ways in which a routine can reinforce and even take you right directly towards your outcomes and your goals on a regular basis. Now, I hope you enjoy this, but if you're looking for another level and another piece of content to help you kind of keep moving forward, do me a favor.
