Welcome back to the Journey Principles Man. I'm telling you what, your responses on Facebook are unbelievable. As of the time of this recording, almost 22,000 people have joined the JP Nation. 22,000 people. Now I'm going to tell you why I think that's happening. Why? Because all of you care. You care about your own personal healing and you also care about everybody else's. And that just makes my heart sing like you would not believe. I can't tell you how excited I am about that. It's something I've always dreamed about and always wanted. So here's the cool stuff. So we've been interviewing some folks and bringing them out to the Journey Principles Nation, and we're going to give a deep dive into a couple different things. So we got Dr. Sam Serio. Are you kidding me?
One of the world's leading experts in healing regarding sexual concepts and information. We have Minister Chris Pipes. We have all kinds of stuff cooking for you guys. So with that said, today it's all about Dr. Sam. So give a warm welcome to Dr. Sam. And here we go.
Some pastors or ministers or even church staffs. What has been the response from coaching them and helping them in this area and what kind of results are they getting?
You really don't have to say a lot. You just have to say it in the right way. And I found with pastors especially, you know, you don't have to preach a whole sermon on any of these topics. You want to keep your job, number one.
Right? Right.
And number two, you don't have to. So within the scriptures, there's all sorts of times within so many different sermons by which you can share that God understands the hurt. And topics that you wouldn't typically think would be related to sexual topics can be, for example, Father's Day. There are people who come to church on Father's Day and they feel horrible.
Yeah.
Because their father did things to them that they should never. But they've never told anybody.
Right?
Right.
So they're being told to honor their father, all the ways of Father.
And that's tough. And they've been abused or they've never been apologized. They don't even know they're. What have you learned? You are a learner because you're a doctor. You've done a lot of reading, probably read a lot of books, probably don't want to read any more books.
Right. I'm okay with that. You're done.
But what have you learned through this whole process of helping people? How has it helped you?
Just seeing the enormity and the grace of God that he really can solve any problem, sadness.
People who think that, well, this is too deep for God, like same sex attraction, we say, oh, that's in a whole different territory where that can't be changed, or that can't be solved, or that can't be reconciled. So I've seen people that are involved in lifestyles or have had past trauma that are just huge. The stories I heal, I hear are just amazing. That, and I asked God, like, lord, how could you have allowed this to happen to this poor girl when she was 14 years old for 10 years? But I'm amazed by seeing God being able to completely transform and heal and love on.
And renew people that for all intents and purposes, they would never have been fixed up. They should be completely messed up.
