We live in a world on our phone, and we don't live in a world through our eyes and what's literally in front of us. I can sit at home after work and scroll through TikTok for six hours and have literally no idea. And I think the perception of others as well, especially if you have a big following, if you're an influencer, you have a tremendous amount of people that are shitting on you constantly, like, why are you doing this? You're just constantly getting shit on. One of the things I've even talked to my parents about when it comes to connection with them is the way they grew up and the way I grew up are way different. And I think it's very different with these generations, specifically compared to any mixed generations in the past, because of the technology growth.
