We started talking about my past and specifically things, some decisions my mother made. Chris says, have you ever done your diligence to figure out how your mother was even shaped in the first place? Parents as a whole only do what they know how to do. They can't be loving and considerate and all these different things if they've never experienced themselves. You see what I'm saying? You can't expect someone to have tactics and skills of what to do and how to do until someone has trained them in those tactics and skills. So he asked me this question. He said, okay, well, have you ever done the diligence? I said, no, I have not. So I went did the diligence. I spent some time with her. I asked about her backstory. I found out that my grandmother was very different to her than she was to me.
