This Idea Will Make You Unstoppable

Stephen Scoggins talks about drawing energy from within to become unstoppable. I want to close with this. And I call it being the one.
Being the one.
To me, the secret to becoming unstoppable is where you draw your energy from, where you draw your source from. It's the resilience that you need to push through.
Is to understand. And I need you to listen to me now. Eyes up. I love you.
If you're going to create a legacy, it should outlive you.
I believe that adversity is not.
For us. I don't think it's meant to take us out. I think it's meant to take out the generation that's hidden inside of us. That's why you see marriages get attacked left and right and center. Because I believe that there is an evil force in the world from time to time that tries to interject itself into areas and they're not after. It's not after the marriage. It's after the thing that's hidden inside the marriage. It's after the kid that doesn't have a father, doesn't have a mother. That then creates a whole nother sense of insecurity and questions and junk.
It's also why I think, especially when it comes to relationships, that you should really work hard to really try to get to know each other and really talk things through. It can't be one sided. I'm saying that from personal experience. I've told you before, I have been married and divorced. My former wife didn't make some good decisions and.
I decided through some of the trauma that it was time to.
It was a hard time in my life. But that being said.
You have to be focused from this day forward, I'm telling you right now, on creating a legacy that outlives you. And the only way that you can create it.
You have to. It'll give your life so much more meaning. So much more meaning. So much more. Mmm. And you've heard me say this all week long. The greatest purpose in life you'll ever have is serve the person you used to be.
In order for you to serve the person you used to be, you have to become something more than you are now.
Do you feel it?
The secret to becoming unstoppable?
You know, it's interesting. I've discovered that.
Life, business, all of it literally has layers upon layers upon layers. And, you know, over the last three days, I've tried my best to put you in an environment where you understand that everything is literally, it's layers. So a young man stood up and said, hey, I jumped in my new business before I was ready Before, I should have cost me some pain. That's okay. Forgive yourself, move on. Okay.
I haven't figured out a way to duplicate myself. That's okay. Let's work on it.
I want to build an amazing business, but I'm really unsure about myself and my self worth. I think, oh, that's okay. Let's dig into it. And then I had this interesting. It wasn't even an epiphany. I think I shared with you guys a number of years ago that part of my conversion, if you will.
Was due to my grandfather. My grandfather, Silver Fox. He's the reason I have this big lion on my shoulder. I'm not a Leo. His nickname was Silver Fox. And Silver Fox was unique. He wasn't the one that survived Pearl Harbor Harbor. He did fight in the Korean war. He was 82nd Airborne. He was a ladies man, especially apparently before him and my grandmother hooked up.
And he was interesting because when I was going through the homeless season, when I was going through the desperate season, when I was going through the difficult season.
For some reason I always felt drawn to him. I always felt like I needed to get around him and somehow, like.
Be near him. But here's the thing is I was a dedicated, dedicated, angry little man.
Dedicated atheist.
I researched the Big Bang theory and dinosaurs and carbon dating and UFOs.
And then I realized one afternoon after I'd been through. It's funny, I had to go through this amazing crushing to get there.
One of the reasons that I get asked all the time is like, how'd you become homeless? It's a simple, simple solution. Simple word, pride.
Pride. And I call it pride's prison.
Cause pride will hold you back from everything that you want in your life. Not being able to admit when you're wrong, not being able to admit when you need help. Not being able to take yourself to a different place. Because again, you already know it all. If you already know it all, why aren't you where you want to be?
And it used to fire me up because from the time that my grandfather held me in his arms, I was the first grandson on my mom's side. First, first grandchild from the time that I entered this world. He would introduce me, even as an infant, as his little soul winner.
And I was like. For a while, I was like, oh, what does that mean, Granddad? What does that mean? You know? And it was cool. And then he would be nurturing and loving. And then by the time I hit the teenagers, you know, dropping out of high school, dad couldn't keep the lights on. And let me say this before I go any further, I want you to know that my father has turned into an absolutely amazing man with one of the most loving hearts I've ever seen in my life.
He made a lot of mistakes along the way because he didn't know any better.
And if you've got parents that hurt you or you struggled with.
It'S probably because they didn't know any better. They've never been trained. No one teaches parents how to be parents. They don't. We all. We're all winging it. And all we do is relive the same person that raised us. That's all we do.
But in this particular sense, you know, my father, obviously, you know, he was a hard worker. That was just a bog on my mind. He would be so. He was so into being a hard worker that I just didn't get it. But through a lot of the hardships that I went through, my heart got harder and harder and harder and harder and harder, harder and harder, till finally I hated the entire world. It was like I was walking around with a pair of sunglasses on my eyes, with lenses that were dark.
Permanently. I'd wake up like that. I would go to bed like that. My life was full of hopelessness.
I felt overwhelmed. I felt depressed. I felt anxiety, all this garbage. But I ended up homeless because of pride.
I ended up prideful because, again, I thought too much of myself when I didn't actually really believe in myself. So you put it up front, it's the insecurity protector.
But meanwhile, I'm going through all these challenges, and I'd even tell my grandfather I had the barbecue girl I mentioned the last couple days actually took me one afternoon and dropped me off at his place.
And.
He walked in the door. Or actually, I walked in the door, opened the door, the trailer he was in, and walked in. He goes, how you doing? How's my little soul winner.
I took the stuff that was in my hands, I threw it on the ground. I'm not your soul winner. There is no God, like, completely angry, flipping out. And you would have thought he would have come back as a Leo himself. Mr. Silver Fox would have come back or, you know, buck up or whatever. Or as Anton said, throw and get rid of the throw down, right? Not at all. You know what he says?
He says, boy, I love you.
But you got to search past the answers that you want.
You see, I realized that as I was digging into things, I was getting further and further.
Down the rabbit trail because I wanted that rabbit trail to be real. I didn't want there to be any kind of creator, any kind of divine whatsoever. I didn't want it.
I thought that. I worked hard. I'm self imposed. I got it all together. I can figure it out. Da, da, da da. I'm tough guy, whatever. We clearly know now that's not the case.
But in that moment, he stunned me with that.
And then just like true love and heart, he goes, don't you realize, boy, if evolution was all there was, all the monkeys would be humans by now.
And I was like.
Can't argue with that, I guess. Anyway.
Now that I've been on this journey for a long while, I've discovered that life business, all of it has layers of an onion.
And if you're willing to pull back the layers, you'll find some amazing things. You won't find some challenging things. You'll find some great things. You'll find some things that need to change. You'll find yourself, because believe it or not, yourself is actually not out here at all. It's not in your skin color, it's not in your sexuality, it's not in your job, it's not in your family. The center of you is at the center of the onion. It's the created value within you. That's where it's at right here. This is where you're at.
This is where you're at. And when you can get here. Oh, my gosh.
When you finally know who you are, why you're here, and what you're supposed to do about it. Oh, gosh, it's amazing. It's so liberating. It's so freeing.
It's like getting ice cream and a box of cherries on the ice cream.
That's what it's like.
I don't wake up at all right now and not have an idea what I feel like I'm being pushed or being pulled into. I've known for a long time that more than anything else, I'm a teacher.
I've discovered that I love it. It fires me up, everybody. You know, this is now the 15 lessons, and I did all but four of them in three days. And you know what? Right now, I'm not tired. I'm excited. Seriously. But it's because I'm starting to realize that there's a power, there's anointing, there's something that happens special when you're oper your gift.
There's a freedom of flow. There's something that comes with it, that comes deeper from within. That you're not fully expecting.
It's the essence of becoming unstoppable. Because when life comes at you hard, and it will.
That thing, that center of the onion, that center you, that real you, that higher you, that higher version of yourself, that one.
It'S what calls your current self in, out of the way and pulls you forward.
