A short motivational speech by Stephen Scoggins that emphasizes focusing on service, giving, and making others feel seen, valued, and heard. The speaker encourages listeners to pursue what they want in life, argues that many people feel unseen and unheard, and cites Dr. Wayne Dyer’s perspective-shifting maxim — “when you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change” — to support reframing one’s life and relationships.

My experience has been when I focused on service, when I focused on going after, when I focused on giving, and I'm focused on just trying to give people my heart in the real version of my heart. Good things happen, right? Because people often don't see or don't feel seen, valued and heard, right? They don't feel seen. They don't feel like they have any value, or at least people aren't telling them they're valued. And they feel like what they say has no value, which means they don't feel heard. And I've been there. And everything that I'm trying to do today and with you guys specifically is I want you to feel valued. I want you to understand that what you. What you need and want out of life is important. And it's worthy of chasing, it's worthy of pursuing it. But ironically, with this ego thing, there's a guy that used to be alive, his name is Dr. Wayne Dyer, that I love his approach to life so much. And one of the things he used to say is, when you change the way you look at things, the things that you look at change, right? When you change the perspective that you're using to look at your life, look at your career, look at your relationships, and you look at it and you reframe it from a more positive directions, you begin to see these.
