Steve D Valentine argues that collaborating with specialists beats competing when it serves clients better. He'll work with other agents on massive commercial deals rather than risk a worse outcome by going it alone.
The two Cs, which one is best.
For your client.
Collaboration.
Or competition?
So I do believe in competition. What I also believe in is collaboration. What's best for the client. What I mean by that is that if I have a client that calls and they want to buy a massive commercial building, guess what? I'm not going to do it myself. I don't want to compete against somebody that has more knowledge. So I'm going to collaborate with another.
Agent that specializes in that space.
And when you can collaborate with somebody, it's in the best interest.
Of the client. And when you're competing, that's where it.
Kind of turns a little on the icky side when you're competing or maybe.
You'Re talking about somebody that they're interviewing.
So I'm always one and lifting up the other agent, especially the ones that.
I know that they're good choices. And I'm glad to see those clients interviewing good agents. And either way they're going to end.
