One question is, what's your experience? Second is, have you been doing this full time? Do you do this full time? The reason that's important is so many agents are like, oh, I just do this on the weekend because I have nothing else to do. And it's just so easy to get a commission this way. That's scary. That is scary. That is what the general public goes when they go into an open house. They're like the guy that just sold them a pair of shoes two days ago at Payless. Payless is out of business, is now going to sell them a house. What I don't understand, and this is for the general public's opinion, is when you do this, you pay the same amount of money for representation from somebody that has 30 years experience or somebody that has no experience. And that is an investment in your biggest financial purchase. So I suggest you do some research on the agent that you're like, hey, I met this person, I like this person. Do they hold the credentials that I want and what are those credentials look like? Those credentials should be experience, minimum 5 years experience, full time. I want to know how many transactions they've done. Anybody can be a full time real estate agent. Their spouse is a doctor and they do it for five years. Fun. I don't want a real estate agent that does this for fun. I want somebody that is knee deep in the market every day and knows what they're doing.
