Steve D Valentine says it's never too late to start investing. A rental bought in 2019 would have earned large returns. COVID hit his portfolio hard, but early risk-taking and leverage paid off over time.
Sealed saying, when's the best time to plant a tree? 20 years ago. And now you got to start somewhere. But I think part of it is, is people discount the fact that, oh well, I can't do it now or it's too late. What happened in 2019? What if you had bought one rental property in 2019.
You would have friggin made a lot of money.
You would have made a lot of money.
Everybody thought the market was going to crash. That's what's right.
So had I not started right, my dad passes away and I looked at things and I'm like. And I was tainted because I'm looking at houses, I'm like, oh God, this house is 110. I sold this five years ago for 30 grand. I'm like, I got to start. I just have to start. So when we started buying things and we started leveraging and we started taking risks, it was long before COVID hit, right? Covid was a huge hit on our portfolio. But we also, it's law of average.
