Hard part with Section 8 is that it's great that you get guaranteed rent. They're typically late and you get guaranteed rent with nobody on the hook for damages. So when Section 8 moves out and they f up the house, you get to take on the f ups. The government doesn't responsible for, the person isn't responsible for. The only thing you get to do is report them. So they lose their Section 8 housing voucher and that's the only damage you get to do with them. But you're not getting your money back.
