A short motivational YouTube video by Steve D Valentine advising viewers to consciously celebrate daily wins and practice self-reflection. He recommends a simple mirror routine (morning and night) where you tell yourself you're proud, assess whether you "moved the needle" that day, and commit to change if you moved it backward. The talk emphasizes gratitude for basic blessings (family, health) and the importance of daily awareness of progress.

I don't know. We don't take time to celebrate the wins properly. Right. And we don't give ourselves. And you know, when. When all of this comes down to it, what we need to do is look in the mirror in the morning and at night and do this one thing. Tell yourself you're proud of you. And if there's anything that you weren't proud of that day that you didn't get accomplished, those are things that you get to improve on the next day. That's it. That's the moving the needle. If you're consciously aware of where you slacked or where you did good, then you're aware of the needle moving. And if you can look at yourself in the mirror at night and go, I moved the needle in the right direction today. Good. If you moved it in the wrong direction, fucking change it. It's the daily awareness of it is the important part. And 100% being proud of what you've accomplished to this point and being proud of the goals and the things that you have, because last time I checked, your kids are all breathing, we're all standing upright, we're all living right, which is lot to be said in comparison to a lot of the world and a lot of this industry. So we need to take those wins that none of us have had to fold and go get a job at Home Depot.
