Short YouTube conversation (Steve D Valentine, recorded Aug 7, 2023) discussing real-estate development choices: floor plans, lot coverage and building envelope limits, and design choices for assisted living such as favoring single-level structures and locating offices/visitation in separate areas for privacy.
So here's some of the things that we have to think about and take into consideration is, you know, what does a floor plan look like, but also what is our lot coverage? Right. Because you have a building envelope where you can only have so much lot coverage.
Right, Correct.
So we've got to kind of look at that to see what can we get out of it. Because obviously assisted living, it has to be built on a single level structure when it comes down to it, because you don't want people on second story, it doesn't work. But I do like the idea of keeping that more as offices and maybe even visitation, those types of things to where you can really build this to be more private. And if somebody wants to visit, they're kind of in that space there.
Yeah. I almost see taking, like I said, with the breezeway and taking some of the back portion of the house and making it nice big doors and windows and opening it up. So I like the visitation idea.
