Did you know you can invest in real estate without actually owning it? If you're considering deed of trust investing, you want to make sure they know what they're doing. For me, we flipped more than 800 homes. We own more than 75 single family rental properties. We tend to know what we're doing and how we're doing it. You don't want to give somebody half a million dollars that doesn't know what they're doing. So how do you secure against that? You're going to lend somebody and they're just starting the path.
