Short excerpt from a YouTube conversation (Steve D Valentine) in which one speaker asks what top things agents are missing; the other replies that it’s not three things but a single critical thing—the clip sets up an argument that a core deficiency (later identified as community/collaboration) is missing from many agents' professional lives.
What would you say the top three things when you meet with agents? What are they missing in their current life and business?
It's not even three. It's a single thing.
What's the single thing then?
Community. It goes to speaking, to being isolated and being alone and trying to figure this out, this business out. Your people are winging it on their own. There aren't these collaborative groups. There might be some, you know, networks or some masterminds or whatever, but people don't feel the freedom to be vulnerable in those, to actually get the help that they need. And so when you're building genuine community, where your company says, you know, collaboration is our culture, like that is our vibe, and if you're going to give something away to one person, you're giving it away to everyone. And that's our standard, right? And because of that, you start to attract people who are, number one, creating that community, but number two, wanting to participate in it.
