Try not to be an "Ask Hole" #leadership #advice #motivation #shorts #short #reels #strategy

Steve D Valentine talks about people who ask for advice repeatedly but never act on it. They keep asking the same questions, want to be micromanaged, and won't do the work themselves.
How many people do you feel like ask you for accountability? But really what they're asking for is hey, can you micromanage me? That's exactly what it is. And it turns into.
It's funny, I feel like I can.
Correlate the same people that ask that are that old school, old like Christian leader John Maxwell used to call them.
Ask holes. Yes, assholes.
But it's people that will ask you, ask you, ask you, but also never take the advice or guidance you give them. They don't put in the work and they're asking questions again 10 days later that you're like, if you would have done the work to the last question, it would have answered itself like your path.
I have, I have a great example of that. I met with a gentleman regarding a business opportunity and helping in an area that, that I can glean from and help them make this transition into a better digital footprint. But talking to him, I finally told him, like, I love you and hate you all at once because you remind me of my dad and here's why. My dad operated from the heart and every time he sought out wisdom, he asked a lot of questions and did nothing with the wisdom that was given him. Therefore, he died with his legacy being this big rather than this big because he wouldn't take the advice. And I'm giving same advice to this man.
