A short YouTube video (short) featuring Steve D Valentine in conversation with another speaker about what makes a good real estate wholesaler. The other speaker lists core qualities—honesty, being true to your word, openness/transparency, answering the phone, and following up—and notes that many wholesalers earn a negative reputation due to lack of care or passion. Steve asks whether wholesalers are like used car salesmen.

What makes a good wholesaler at the end of the day, when it comes down to, like, connecting the dots and.
Things like that, I would say being true to your word, being honest, being open, being transparent, answering your phone, following up. There's just a lot of guys out there that give it a negative spin because they just don't care or they just don't have the love and the passion for it. For people.
Would you kind of equate like wholesaler, like used car salesman? Like a used car salesman at a buy here, pay here place?
Yeah, exactly. Right. So there's a lot of people, you know, because you don't have to be licensed as a wholesaler. There's a lot of people out there that are just fly by night. They don't give a. They just want to make a couple bucks and move on.
