A short spoken monologue by Steve D Valentine explaining why he stopped offering co-broker deals. He urges buyer agents to aggressively advocate for their commissions, to set boundaries, and to negotiate fees (using SCA/net numbers) rather than accepting listing-driven norms. The tone is direct and motivational.

I am going to this. This is my deal. And I want to have those conversations with the agents. I'm not offering any more co brokes. Here's why. I think each one of us, we're working with buyers. We need to fight like a motherfucker for the income that we want and for what we deserve. We need to be having those conversations. This market for a really long time has been dictated by the listing agents and the sellers as to what you get paid. And this is your opportunity to step up, bring your boundaries, and help the other agents understand. So here's the conversation. It's already gone through my head a hundred times. Sean calls me and says, hey, are you offering a buyer, broker or not? And here's why. You've never had the opportunity to fight like hell for your income. And I want you to fight like hell for it. You have the SCA to put your commission in, and if the net numbers work, the net numbers work. And if you get to make more money, I freaking want you to make more money. So make the offer clean. Fight like hell.
